Season 2, ep 15, UA Sports Festival Race

Morika let out a breath. The 0 Pointer robot was coming crashing down. She was overheating already from having been cramped in that entry way before Todoroki pulled that ice rink move.

“Ugh,” Morika let out a groan as she slid a foot back, she threw her other arm forward, her palm directed to the robots that were falling on top of her and everyone else.

“Nice trick, Todoroki,” she commented to herself, gaze flitting to said boy. All she could see was his figure in the dust he had kicked up. “But sorry,” she looked back up, “you’re not the only one with tricks you wanna show off.”

She ignored cries of everyone in the different classes. They weren’t her problem or priority. Her focus was getting through this race. And everyone had heard Present Mic. They could use whatever means they wanted to get through as long as they didn’t go off the course.

The air around Morika grew more humid, and before anyone could even react, a wave of strong cold water started to appear. It grew in size and strength. Barely seconds later the wave just barely rivaled the size of the robots UA was just reusing from the entrance exams.

“What a show stopping move from yet another Class 1-A student!!” Present Mic announced to the crowds. “Morika Iino’s Torrential Flow quirk is just another show of just how mighty the first years of 1-A are!!”

The wave collided with the 0 pointer, knocking it down the opposite way from everyone else. The splash back had students shielding their faces.

Morika took into a run when the robots hit the ground with giant force, pieces of it breaking down and off, colliding with the ground too. The ground shook, others having to find their balance. And other students had to dodge wayward dropping parts from it too.

“The Class 1-A kids are actually freaks!” Someone yelled.

“Look, she made an opening!” Someone else yelled, pointing forward.

Though that opening was quickly closed when parts of the wave that had collided one of the boundary walls had come back to collide roughly with the ground.

Morika had passed though. She had jumped onto an arm one of the robots to just barely avoid her own wave and jumped down onto her wave that acted as a slide for her.

The crowds watching had broken out into cheers and cries for the light purple haired girl before being silenced by her classmates behind her breaking through after her wave had disappeared into the air and the ground.

“Open those eyes, Pro Heroes!!” Present Mic yelled into the mic, “Get your note pads ready to jot down some 1-A names!”

Did Mikasas parents have any stakes in the Yeager business before the fire?

No, they didn't. Mikasa's parents were just close friends with Eren's parents.

Grisha and Kiefer were childhood friends (Grisha was born and raised in Greywood before moving to the city, while Kiefer stayed). Carla and Morika were high school besties in the city. Morika met Kiefer during a field trip to Greywood and fell in love with him. When she brought Kiefer to the city to meet Carla, Kiefer invited Grisha, and that's how they all got introduced.

After that, the Yeagers stayed in the city while the Ackermans lived on the farm. They were all pretty close until Grisha became CEO after his father and got caught up in his busy life. Remember how Zeke once mentioned to Eren that Grisha took him to Greywood a few times when he was a kid? I'll give more details about that in future plots.

Hannes was the only stakeholder in the company that held a 10% share cause their fathers built it together, though Hannes's father eventually branched off to start his own business. They were all good friends and Hannes knew Mikasa's parents well.

So I’m sick with covid with little to no energy/brain capacity and all of the sudden I decided I needed to start designing the various reincarnations of Nyx’s Source-born shard up until Ahru.

There might be a cooler, sleeker way to present all of this but I spent all my energy in channeling the spirits so maybe that’s something for future me. Maybe if we get more information on the various ages they were from they’ll get fleshed out/changed around but for now kind of bare bones details.

The First Incarnation: Kir Dras: Assumed to have first lived during the First Astral Era. Very little is known about this first known incarnation. (I just thought it’d be cool if their first incarnation was Mister Final Fantasy Fourteen himself.)

The Second Incarnation: Cora Stran: Lived during the end of the Second Umbral Era. In a time when mankind had fled into caves to shelter from volcanic ash and thunderstorms, plague and pestilence dwindled their numbers. It is said the first forms of magick were believed to have been born from human prayers. Cora was one such individual, desperate to help those around her, grasping at the first scant rays of restorative magicks.

The Third Incarnation: Miriona Wynvelis: Lived during the Second Astral Era, a ranking priestess of a theocracy thought to be devoted to Oschon. She encountered the Ascian Arshadaya, Azem’s lifelong travel companion, and was deceived, possibly seduced, into thinking he was an emissary of Oschon, if not the God Himself...

The Fourth Incarnation: Seja: Lived during the Third Umbral Era as a witch hunter. An orphan whose home had been destroyed in holy war.

The Fifth Incarnation: Leraje Arkasian: Lived during the Third Astral Era around 5000 years ago. Was a lover of Amon's, though whether this meant there were any sentimental attachments is difficult to say. They were possibly killed by him in an experiment, whether accidental or not all details are equally unclear.

The Sixth Incarnation: Skirra: Lived during the Fourth Astral Era. A long-lived viera who seemed to gain some keener insight onto the nature of her soul. A powerful and talented seeress who read the movements of the heavenly bodies. Encountered the Ascian Arshadaya in her later years.

The Seventh Incarnation: J’hati: Lived during the Fifth Umbral Era, was among the descendants of Allagan slaves who first arrived in Eorzea.

The Eighth Incarnation: Sarika Morika: Lived during the Fifth Astral Era as a Scholar in Nym. 

The Ninth Incarnation: Ciar: Lived during the Sixth Umbral Era in Mhach 1,500 years ago. An understudy of High Voidmage Cessair. Her soul was almost violently melded to, or devoured by, the voidsent Diabolos, if not for  Arshadaya's last minute intervention.

The Tenth Incarnation: Letih: Lived briefly, during the Sixth Umbral Era. An orphan of Amdapor who narrowly survived the flooding, found and saved by Arshadaya. Weak, and soon reborn after her more recent and tumultuous death, she was afflicted with the taint of void energy nested deep in her aether. 

The Eleventh Incarnation: Olun Dotharl: Born among the Dotharl, she seemed to glean some insight and understanding of the workings of her soul. Something of a legend on the battlefield in her time, soon not even the Steppes she loved could contain her wanderlust and curiosity. Fiery and determined, she eventually set out with an adventurers determination to find answers in the world.

The Twelfth Incarnation: Atrienne Levon: Lived during the Sixth Astral Era during the brief age of peace between the elezen and dragons in the Churning Mists. She herself may have taken a dragon as a lover, and fled with them when tragedy struck...

The Thirteenth Incarnation: Empress Seraphina yae Galvus: Wife of Solus zos Galvus, Mater Patriae. While every bit a warrior in her own right, she was also quite shrewd and cunning in politics - though such matters were never close to her heart beyond furthering the greater well-being of the people of Garlemald.

The Fourteenth Incarnation: Ahru Hiraeth: Hydaelyn’s long-awaited Warrior of Light, the one with whom she pinned her hopes upon.

Honestly everything but thats too much lol. What's happening in the city and the connection between Mikasa and Erens parents.

Also are the people working for Willy just randos or will it be a character betraying the others

I won't spoil too much about Mikasa's life in the city. As I mentioned before, while she faces some heart-wrenching experiences, she will have many people supporting her—both old friends and new ones. She will work for Eren and build her career as a young professional. The journey from a small-town girl to life in the big city is going to be compelling. The summary of DF was more of a brief overview; Mikasa won’t just be focused on reminding Eren of their love but also on defining who she wants to be. She'll confront her fears and discover her true potential. At some point she will inspire and encourage Eren for everything.

Grisha and Carla were good friends with Mikasa’s parents, Morika and Kiefer. Both families shared a close bond, and their friendship was rooted. In Chapter 13, we’ll get Grisha’s pov from 10 years ago, which will provide more insight into their backstory and the fire. This should help clarify the events and relationships better.

The two killers Willy hired are just randos because I haven't found any specific aot characters that are particularly hateful or creepy, except for Historia's dad, but he doesn’t look like a killer so I didn’t use him.

In future chapters there will be a scene where Levi, Erwin, Hange, Zeke, and two or three MORE aot characters investigating them together. It’s gonna be fun!
