How do you suppose the Lord feels when you repent? When you come to him and say, “I’m sorry. I made mistakes. I made wrong choices. But that’s a feature of the human-relational damage repair inherent to repenting from sin. It’s the cross we bear, humbly, to find our way back to the path. God is not ashamed to call you his child. He’ll get you through anything to come. But don’t be afraid of him. He knows what your heart and mind have been through, and when you come to him, he rejoices. Prodigal, come home. There’s a celebration waiting for you...
