We had a thick fog this morning, it usually happens once or twice a year here.  I hope the images I made this a.m. will be enjoyable for you.  I started making fog images 11 years ago when I started this blog.  Nothing adds mood to a landscape like fog does.

Day 3 -- morning fog

Folksy bedtime stories abound to explain the abundance of fog seen in the Fallows during fall; everything from fairies steaming their laundry to frogs cooking stew. The reality is... less charming.
