تحزن على شيء فقدته .. فربما لو ملكته لكان الحزن أكبر
Grieve not upon what you have lost
perhaps your grievance would be greater, if you had attained it.

Do not let Nasheeds replace the Quran even for a moment in the Month of Quran.
Many people tend to switch to 'halal music' instead of Quran during Ramadan
What are you doing?
Can there be anything better than the Quran? Can the words of any human be equivalent to the Words of Allah?
No matter if it has instrumental music in it or inappropriate lyrics or not. Do NOT fill your time except for the dhikr of Allah and the best of the Dhikr of Allah is His Own Book.

I am coming to the realization that I really need to read the Bible in order to understand, like, anything about Western literature, because my surface level [creation>exile>Haggadah>wandering>Sinai>Lot at some point>New Testament (Rashamon)>some weird shit about Nero nobody cares about] understanding isn't really going to cut it.
...where do I get an Audiobook of the Bible? Does such a thing exist for free? I'm looking for the Five Books+Four Gospels minimum.

In light of what the media will never address about the dehumanization of Palestinians and mindless mass murder from Israelis, if you are a zionist or in any way support the Israeli government, get the f*ck out of my blog.

Of course the first time i drop the Quran (by accident of course) is during Ramadan. I'm not going to feel guilty about that for the entire month. No sirree.

Some people come into your life only to become a lesson which hurts you a lot but eventually builds you for a much bigger task. So trust Allah, there is a reason for everything. The person who comes into your life has to leave one day so don't let worldly things sadden you. For Allah ﷻ says those who trust Allah ﷻ will never be sad

Our Prophet ﷺ used to say, “let them have the Dunya, Akhirah will be ours.”
اعمل باستمرار من أجل حياتك الآخرة و لا تقلق بشأن إثارة إعجاب الناس.
Continuously work for your Akhirah and worry less about impressing people.
I hope you remember we are here to build our Akhirah. so don’t get attach to this place.
May Allāh ﷻ make you and your parents among those who will stand next to the Prophet ﷺ on yaumul qiyamah.

Some people are like flowers that fall gently onto the ground, waiting to be picked up. When someone finds them, they bring joy, smiles, and contentment. But like the flower, their vibrancy fades, and they slowly die. Still, they are grateful for the chance to have brightened someone's day, even if it was only for a fleeting moment. -Mona Al Kabir

I'm trying to imagine a Muslim spiderperson who has to fast AND save people during Ramadan. They're always either hangry or desperately trying to keep a cool because they don't wanna use curse words.
"Its nearly sunset, can you like stop robbing this bank for like 5 mins until I break my fast or is that too much to ask mister robber man?"
They're walking someone home after saving them and the person offers them a bottle of water and they have to have THEE conversation "oh sorry I'm fasting- yes- yes, not even water... yeah... no its not that bad"
JKSJSKSK PLEASE ID LOVE THEM SO MUCH

I just saw a reel on insta sth like share a miracle that you think Allah made you experience and a lot of the comments were like they pray to Allah to wake them up for Fajr or during a certain time and their sleep ends up breaking during that exact time. I've been doing this exact thing for both Fajr and tahajjud, but this never happened to me before. This makes me so sad and feel like maybe there's sth wrong in my ibadah, or I'm just not special enough to experience it. Am I the only one this happened to?
