#my best friend chronically will not listen to my advice but say they ddi#did#and they were supposed to get a pay increase at work and now theyre back tracking#and im like#well did you say in your original email you were promised x amount by x manager on this date in your formal 1-2-1#and they said no#like girl!!!!!! WHY#why not start the paper trail immediately!!!#and im like ok now you have to send an email back saying these exact words#and are they gonna do that or listen to me?#absolutely not#and now theyre fucked out of 4k extra a year and have to look for a new job#insanity#the amab ego is something else#i literally told them word for word what to say in the original email and they did not type a single fucking thing i said which is why#this is not being sorted. bc they dont know how to speak to other office people
