This Is a theory of what I think will happen with the original OBM.

First, I want to clarify that this Is just a theory, and you should take precautions according to what you think Is right. I think everyone should start archiving what they consider important just in case. Companies are not your friends and If Solmare thinks keeping OG/NB Is more expensive than it's worth It, they will shut It down without the input of their users

I don't think they will do an EOS this year. Why? Because the app still brings decent numbers, my source Is Sensor tower. If you're curious, user u/ferinsy posts a monthly earnings table of popular joseimuke/otome games in the r/gacha subreddit, OG always have numbers around 120,000 while NB has irregular income, depending on the month (around 140,000-200,000) I will link the table of anyone wants it

But what I think will happen Is that OG Will stop having shared events soon enough, and the It will be put on life support (commonly what we call maintenance mode)

How long the app will be on maintenance mode? As long as Is profitable, old Solmare game (Moe Ninja Girls RPG) got put on life support for a whole year before being hit with an EOS in 2022. Soon after, the original app MNG VN got put on life support, you can still play the original MNG but not the RPG spin off

Again, this Is just a theory. For all I know, Solmare could be planning announcing that they will shut down OG tomorrow, because they have made really bad decisions since before NB launched. Who knows what will happen?

I don't know what to say, really. An app being shut down Is always tragic but this Is something thats bound to happen with all Live Service games, you can look at the Multiversus controversy, or the Love Live recent EOS, does someone remember AfterL!fe? That game only lasted a year... this Is the sad reality of the game industry now, you basically own nothing now, and it's sad all around.

Share what you like, what you dislike, because one day In the distant future both NB/OG will no longer exist, and they will only be remembered by the love and hate of their users.

i know astarion's attitude towards sex is all due to his trauma but. listen. there are some aspects of his romance and experiences that can be so relatable as a sex-neutral or sex-averse ace person. in fact him being ace or acespec on top of the trauma makes him even more compelling and tragic to me. it would've been amazing and interesting if he'd been canonically ace and these aspects plus how his asexuality affected his traumatic sexual experiences had been explored as well

Man. I just get so actually legitimately sad each time I remember that toh ended and that we live in the post-toh world. Like it really is over.

Ms Dana Terrace has said that she'd like to do more given the chance (and after some quality time off of bigger projects, just to chill), but as far as we know, it's the end.

Heck, we barely got anything after the final episode, no books, no special merch, no dedicated little chibi shorts, nothing really, aside from the, thankfully fun, get-togethers of the cast and crew!

Idk. Ah well actually nah, I do know, that this show just meant an enormous lot to me. Incredibly huge, the kind that you can't break away from and wouldn't want to anyway. The kind that feels like, man, where would I be without it.

Woah! You sent this like immediately! I had to think for a hot minute...

So I keep meaning to write an extension to Nomadic Love but I haven't had the motivation. So, since it might be a while...here are my potential ideas.

G and Reader are getting to know each other, long distance of course, and speak on the phone every now and then. Christmas comes around and Reader is shocked when G shows up at their door since he's never been in their town during the winter. Turns out he brought them a really cute souvenir from Paris in reference to a conversation they had where Reader confessed they hadn't been.

It's been a while so I don't remember what else would've happened but I know it would've been really sweet and mushy.

The other idea also doubles as my idea for a Swapfell fic although I still don't have a plot idea.

This would happen an unspecified amount of time after Reader and G have been in a relationship, possibly years later. G has connections with various governments since he's the only known monster in the world (being post-Echotale).

So what happens when news breaks of a whole race of monsters emerging from under a mountain on the other side of the country, led by a human child? The government panics of course and G gets woken up at an ungodly hour to get over there to help with negotiations.

Reader questions what's going on since they were living together and G ends up explaining. Reader is all too happy to drop everything to travel with him. If the government is gonna be jerks, they can afford to put up one more person if they want G that badly.

Shenanigans would ensue after that cause the Swapfell monsters tend to have itchy trigger fingers and just recently decided not to wage war when they were freed. Maybe there would potentially be some romantic tension as well??
