Is anyone else depraved and unhinged enough to imagine what it'd be like to introduce your baldur's gate partner to your actual parents

If I were dating Gale, my mom would hate him and my dad would love him. If I were dating Astarion, my mom would love him and my dad would hate him. Drama either way. Amusing af to imagine how it would play out lol

I can see my poor dad, pleading with me to stop dating an immoral vampire who is 209 years older than me. How horrified he'd be the first time he noticed bite marks on my neck. "It's time to have a little more self respect and stop taking in every stray dog with a sob story. You deserve someone decent. Gale is educated, he's got money, he's got a good heart. I pray every night you break up with Astarion before he hurts you."

I can see my mom taking one look at Gale and saying to me the moment he's out of earshot- "Euugh, what an annoying loser... you can definitely do better. What about Astarion? He seems like more fun. Plus, who are you to resist a sexy vamp? I know you better than that. Just go for it, girl! He's hot!"
