crying real tears my japanese teacher came back to the states after going back to japan in 2020
#yo it's d :)#okay secret dio lore#i took japanese in high school as my foreign language#however i went to high school during the main part of the pandemic#so my second year of the course was fully online#my teacher (literally the kindest lady on planet earth) was my favorite but had to go back home because of her family#so basically i haven’t heard anything about her since 2021#so for the past 3/4 years it’s been radio silence basically and i’ve just been wondering how she was#what i neglected to mention was that she also is a professor of japanese at the university level#i’m in college (shocking) and was like ‘damn i should get ready to take my foreign language’ (eng major things)#so i’m registering for courses for fall and guess what.#SHES BEEN BACK HERE FOR AT LEAST A YEAR ATP???#so anyway i’m taking elementary japanese again so i can see her (and also for my degree)#(oh yeah i attend the university she teaches at. i forgot to say.)#context clues.
