I think the worst part is that i dont even think im unlovable. I know i’m worthy of love, i know that i am easy love and to be loved by. I know that i give my love freely to those around me, that i give my heart out to family and to friends and to the sweet old man who lets me cut his hair regularly. I know that every time i smile at a stranger, i hand them a piece of my heart, and every time i wave to the employees at the next store over in the eye glasses department, i am handing them a reminder that they too hold a part of me. I know that when the kids flock to me and squabble and seek out my company or my opinion, they too know they can love and be loved in return.

The problem lies not with how lovable i think i am, but in how undesirable i feel i am. I feel as though i thrust my love upon others and its not hard for them to love me in return. But nothing in me calls out to them at first glance. Nothing about me is remarkable or special or attractive. Nothing in me feels worth falling in love with. I am sunshine in the way that the sun is distant and untouchable, in the way that looking directly upon it brings pain but seeing the fruits of its labor brings joy. I am sunshine in the way that clouds blocking me out are welcomed happily and the wind blowing is a reprieve from my stifling warmth. I am sunshine in the way that i am too much on my own, but the reflection of me in the night is just fine, just right. I am sunshine in that the sun is a lone star, always seen, always cradling, always giving and caressing and loving but never, never, never being held in return.

I am easy to love because i give love freely. But i am still alone, undesirable and unwanted in full strength.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

I pointed this out in a Discord server I'm in and thought Id share here:

Bob Iger announced that Disney is going to absorb Hulu, and Hulu will no longer exist next year. All shows will move to the Disney+ app.

Disney also announced they were going to remove shows and movies periodically from their streaming services.

I believe both of these moves are because of the Writers Strike.

Disney knows its going to lose the strike. There is too much public support. Specifically, the WGA is going to win writers getting more residuals from streaming.

So if Disney takes shows off of streaming, they dont have to pay the writers the residuals.

They are going to use excuses like "not enough funding for the server capacity" or "not enough views to warrent keeping the show". These are BULLSHIT. Its all greed. Its only GREED.

Pay attention to what happens in the following weeks.

And keep supporting the writers' strike.

listen I was never super invested in 11 or river song or most of those plotlines but ...... thematically they kinda went off with the whole "two timelines moving in opposite directions" thing like. she's been dead since the beginning. every moment I have with you is stolen. the pain of falling in love with someone, and knowing that every time you see them, they know you a little less. the clock is ticking and you know how it ends. she has been haunting this narrative since season 4. the first time is the last time. time moves in a circle but can only be experienced in a straight line. all tragedies are familiar.
