Today was my parents 50th - 50th! - wedding anniversary, and our first family hang in a year. My mom and dad thought me what love is meant to look like. How you can’t have one without the other. My heart melted a few weeks ago when my dad came to collect my mom from taking care of me after I had surgery and dad gave mom a hug and a smooch, showing how much she is loved and how much he missed her. So since I’ve been reducing my meds and going through detox, my parents have been buying me a gift every week to congratulate, encourage and celebrate with me, which is lovely!
