Designation: The Princian Planet

Mysdary is exactly 7096km in size, entirely encased in a thick layer of ice. Despite this, life has managed to find a way, the planet serving as the native home of a unique species of tree. This tree produces wood that is slightly blue, growing up through cracks in the ice - this wood is extremely durable and does not burn.

MSS Weekly, 11/21/21 Report

Since the end of Expedition 19KR, nineteen planets in the MOGAI Star System have been settled, and the number continues to grow. Most of these planets are barely on their feet, but already alliances, trade routes, and budding power dynamics have been established.

Queen Empress Aries--ruler and head researcher of Kaiour-V--has certainly been busy! On 11/16/21, ae formed an alliance with President Moderator, ruler of Tub-X. It’s yet to be seen just how they’ll utilize it in the future. Ae also discovered a turtle-frog-like species the size of sheep, dubbing them ‘benjongs’, as well as a pink crystal that proved a valuable trading resource with Arradary. On other planets, similar discoveries are made: Puplians, aquatic dog-like mammals, make their home on Autoino G, and Aoxolitans, salamander-like creatures, make their own on Aplan--which has become the first planet in the MSS to have an official flag!

Mysdary, home to a kind of fireproof tree capable of growing directly through ice, traded with Jiocalia for its tropical fruits--more offers have been made for Mysdary’s unique resource. Un-1, an icy planet, built its first farms in an attempt to become less reliant on trade, and to prevent overhunting of the ursas--large, pink, bear-like mammals they rely on for meat, trade, and warmth. They also extended a greeting to the fellow icy planet Kaipole 9, offering them enough resources to get them on their feet.

The people of Tub-X rallied to make tax evasion punishable by exile; unrest festers after President Moderator’s denial of the law. Speaking of political unrest, Kaipole 9 has had its fair share! On 11/19/21, Councilor Janus resigned from scales position as co-leader of the planet. Kaipole 9 is now led by Emissary Lee. The main event of this week, however, was Manabal Prime’s very first executions. On 11/20/21, Dollet Mons ordered the execution of Raige Carter, a paramedic, and Holden-835, after the two had dragged the entire settlement into their conflict. The cause of the conflict is unknown.

That concludes this week's MSS Report, and it barely scratches the surface. Will Kaipole 9 and Un-1 become allies? Will Tub-X's civil unrest grow into a full-blown mutiny? Will Dollet Mons' turn authoritarian dictator?
