What's a pokemon that makes for a really good pet but most people don't realize? Just name one ur particularly fond of :3

nacli! they're not common pets here, but they're great pokemon and don't have too intense of care needs. they're nonaggressive, small, lower-energy pokemon that are happy so long as you keep them dry and give them plenty of dirt and rock to root around in.

the main caveat with them is that 1. you're gonna be sweeping up salt 2. it's best to only keep them with other nacli to prevent potential salt toxicity- other pokemon will lick up the salt they shed and can get sick. but as single pets or in a small group of other nacli, they're fantastic pokemon to keep!

so i've defo got a bit of commentary for this post ahahhaha firstly, i have done what alex did on that school trip XD Dia brought me a rock salt souvenir from Poland, from the very real version of the salt mine alex's trip went to no less, and then she dared me to lick it. it tasted like dirt, salt, and regret, and became the basis for alex's embarrassment. XD

second bit of commentary today, is that it bothers me so much that partner 'mons never seem to get nicknames in the games, not even the very important plot relevant ones, so i'll be making an effort to try and come up with nicknames that i feel suit their trainers' personalities. i hope everyone will be able to look forward to what i pick out~

NEWS: Pokemon Center has revealed their Halloween 2023 product lineup. This is the first Halloween set to feature Pokemon from the Paldea region. This set, called Paldea Spooky Halloween, will be available at the physical Pokemon Center stores in Japan on September 2nd. These items are already for sale at the Japanese online store.
