As the time pass Rantaro grows more clingy as his obsession grows, he just loves you so much that can't stay away from you and even when he isn't physicaly near you somehow he always knows where you are and what are you doing. He excuses himself by saying that he just want you to be safe, he had already lost all his sisters and despite everything he have done to trying to find them he haven't even find a trace of them and that lead him to be terrified by the thought of the same happening to you, he doesn't know what he will do if you ever go missing so he prefers to watch you closely to asure that you won't just disappear one day

Even when his unhealthy and obsessive behavior can be pretty obvious at times he always manage to cover up as being worried of you or even accidents, he is so good at covering up and finding convincing excuses that it is scary

Rantaro is a really observant and perseptive person, he is smart enough to notice when you start to feel more comfortable around him, even if there are just little hints like you getting a little more closer to him or starting to express a little more he notice it right away, and it makes his heart melt, Rantaro was used to your distant attitude and even when this was something he expected and wanted is still flattering, it gave him even more motivation to continue

Once you open up to him completely there is no way to stop Rantaro, he just feel like he is special for you, maybe as special you are to him, it make him think that you had fully accept him in your life and that would lead him to be more possessive and protective over you, he just had find out how beautiful your smile is and he isn't planning to lose it, besides he is really mature and is used to take care all of his sisters, he knows what it is the best for you and wants nothing more that see you smile

He wants to spend every second of the day by your side only to be able to discover all your other beautiful expressions, but, as much as he loves that you finally feel comfortable to express yourself with him Rantaro wants to be the only one with the privilege to see that beautiful sight, he had grow a little bit depend on you so if he even see you starting to express mor with another person, even if is a little Rantaro will feel threaten, and if he is trigger enough he will do something about it (not against you, never against you)

Rantaro had tried to find out the reason of why you are so distant to others, and won't be calm until he finds out, one way or another (without hurting you, of course) and if there is someone to blame Rantaro will hate them with his life, he won't do anything against them (unless that person hurt you badly), but if they cross his path or dare to even look at you again he probably won't be able to hold himself back

Sleeping Together (Literally) Headcanons

Just some general fluff and sweet headcanons for Byakuya, Nagito, and Kokichi.

BYAKUYA TOGAMI

He has a nighttime routine so please don’t interrupt him, he has extremely little patience if you try.

Not one for cuddles (lies).

He will fall asleep as far away from you as possible.

He will wake up touching you in some way- an arm over your waist, your head on his chest, or even just legs touching

Don’t try to sleep in, that doesn’t fly with him.

No morning kisses, don’t even try.

Doesn’t snore, but does occasionally grunt or groan.

Blanket hog and will admit to it, this isn’t a battle you’ll win.

Will accept you guys sleeping with separate blankets to prevent this but it doesn’t prevent him waking up being close to you.

NAGITO KOMAEDA

Spending the night (or even just napping) with Nagito takes a while to work up to.

Be patient with him!  I promise he wants to sleep with you just as bad but he fears everything going wrong.

He will be stiff and nervous when you first get in bed next to him, he’s not uncomfortable he just… doesn’t know why you’re wanting to be in bed with him, surely you have other people you could be near.

You have to bring up cuddling him.

His body is cold, please use blankets and warm him up.

Has nightmares about his illness, he’ll tell you it’s fine and to not stay up with him but at least sit up with him for a few minutes.

Snores and knows it, please don’t bring it up.

You are free to get up when you want, but why would you want to?

He prefers to have you wrap an arm over him, put a leg over him, hold his hand, just do ANYTHING to remind him that he’s alive, that he’s with you.

Will eventually get more and more comfortable with you being in bed with him and will tease you over wanting to be so close to someone like him.  It’s all jokes, don’t take it too seriously.

KOKICHI OMA

No naptime cuddles, he gets too hot and uncomfortable.

His body is like a heater, blankets aren’t required unless it’s just a comfort thing for either of you.

He has to have the TV on, a song playing on his phone, SOMETHING- he will fall asleep with just a fan on but that takes a very long time.  Silence is a big no.

He will cuddle you, he prefers to be the big spoon regardless of your size.

That’s not to say he doesn’t like to be held while sleeping, but he’s got a reputation to maintain y’know

Will hold you as close and as tight as possible, good luck if you have to get up in the middle of the night.

This fucker snores and talks and due to his closeness, you will wake up.  This is unavoidable, please understand.

You aren’t sleeping in, the second he’s awake you have to be awake.

He’ll try to be good sometimes and let you sleep in, but he just doesn’t have the patience for you to sleep too long.  He’s not doing this to be a bastard, he just doesn’t comprehend how much time has passed.

If you wake up before him, you aren’t gonna be able to wake him up until he’s ready to.

Summary: Komaeda meets his beloved spouse after his luck finally gives him one thing.

Komaeda doesn't have many memories from his childhood.

Not many, but he has a single one he's never forgotten. He has a finished green ring pop that he carries on him at all times, and he has a photo that reminds him of the event in his wallet that he guards with his life.

Komaeda remembers it quite vividly. 

The sun shone brightly, and the flowers in his backyard were a nice, bright color compared to how they were in the rest of his memories.

Nagito Komaeda remembers that moment with his whole heart.

Under the burning sun of June, Nagito Komaeda had gotten married to you as a seven-year-old.

It's hard to forget one's first love.

"Nagi!!" You beam, running at the boy. "Let's get married!"

"H-huh?" Komaeda's eyes widen at you, and you grin at him. 

"I heard that's what people do if they're in love!"

"B-but we're not old enough!"

"But you love me, right?"

"Y-yeah?" Komaeda tilts his head in confusion.

"I love you too! So let's get married!" You grin. You're missing a tooth because you just lost one, but Komaeda thinks you look really pretty under the sun. A child doesn't know the word ethereal, but Komaeda would've called you that if he had known. "I'm wearing the whitest clothes I have today, just for this moment!"

Komaeda blinks.

"I don't have a ring," He pouts.

"Do you have money?"

"Yeah," he stares at you. 

"Let's go get ring pops!!" You pull him from the grass, and he stumbles after you. The sun burns his skin lightly. He's always been prone to sunburns, but he doesn't seem to mind as you're racing down the neighborhood to get to the convenience store. 

Komaeda sits on the parking block as you rush inside with his money, and he pouts. He chases after you, whining about how since he was richer he should pay.

"Nuh uh! I brought money too!"

"But I have more money than you!" He pouts. "Also, as a gift. I didn't get to buy you your wedding outfit."

You yelp as Komaeda takes your silence as an answer and runs off with the two rings. He pays for them quickly, rushing the cashier with a pout on his face as you rush to grab him. He grins as the cashier hands him the receipt with a laugh, and you pout.

"Nagi!"

"No takebacks!" He blows a raspberry at you, and he grins. "I bought your ring, hah!"

You frown, and his expression softens at your discomfort.

"I'm sorry," He mumbles. "But I wanted to pay."

"It's alright," You mumble, reaching for his hand. "Who's the ring bearer? Ring.. ring boy."

"Can Hope do it?"

"Yeah," You mumble back, following Komaeda. A part of him wants to rip open the candy and eat it, but he thinks it'll be gone by the time the two of you are done with the wedding.

Komaeda remembers the way you had jumped up and down while explaining to his parents what the two of you were going to do. Your parents had laughed, and Komaeda's parents had ruffled your hair affectionately. They would help officiate the wedding.

Komaeda remembers how his mom and your mom had pushed you into a room to help you get ready, and he remembers how his dad with yours had dragged him to the backyard to pick flowers for you. Komaeda remembers how hard he was sweating when he finished making the bouquet for you. It was so pretty. Komaeda had done his best to give you the prettiest bouquet. 

You looked pretty when you stepped out of the room. You had your mom put lipstick on your, as a child asks, and you had grinned at Komaeda affectionately. He remembers how you looked while walking down the aisle. Well, it wasn't an aisle. It was the garden pathway that Komaeda had deemed as the prettiest while you were getting ready. 

You wore white, as one does on their wedding, and Komaeda had changed into his best outfit. He remembers how Hope, only a puppy at the time, had dropped the rings in their packaging twice, and he remembers his dad helping the puppy take then to him. He remembers the way you ran down the garden pathway, a smile so bright it put the sun to shame on your face as you stopped next to him.

"Do you, Komaeda Nagito, take Y/n L/n as your lawfully wedded spouse?" Komaeda's dad does a dramatic wave of his arm at you.

"I do!" Komaeda remembers that his cheeks hurt from how hard he smiled.

"Do you, Y/n L/n, take Komaeda Nagito as your darling husband?" His dad does the same to Komaeda.

"Yes!" You jump excitedly. "I do!!"

"Please exchange your rings!" Komaeda's dad laughs heartily as the two of you rip open the package to slip on eachothers' ring fingers. Komaeda struggles a little because yours won't fit, and neither does his, but the two of you make it work. The ring is too big for the both of you; you guys have to hold it on, and Komaeda's mom grins as she pulls out her camera. 

"Baby, that's the wrong finger," Your mom lowers herself to your height, and she helps the two of you fix the ring placement. "This one," she slides the ring onto your ring finger. "That's the ring finger. The middle finger is for engagement."

"What's engagement?"

"It's like promising to marry someone," She smiles, adjusting Komaeda's ring. "But the two of you are married already, so it's the ring finger."

"Alright," You mumble, staring at the blue candy on your finger.

"I now pronounce the two of you married!" Komaeda's dad laughs as the two of you hug. 

"Smile!" Komaeda's mom holds a camera up, and you press your lips to Komaeda's cheek.

Komaeda turns red, stumbling over his words as you grin at him. 

"W-what was that for!"

"I heard you have to kiss at a wedding," You pout. "I saw it on TV."

"Does that mean I have to kiss you?" Komaeda mumbles, flushing impossible redder.

"Maybe," You shrug. "You don't need to-"

Komaeda presses his lips to your cheek in the second photo, and your eyes are widened in surprise. Komaeda remembers you smacking his chest lightly afterwards, whining about how he caught you off guard. He remembers how you had bit his ring pop in retaliation and how he got offended, so he bit yours. The two of you had finished your ring pops in his backyard on his swings, and the two of you had watched the sun set. 

Komaeda's mom had printed out the photos she took for the two of you to keep as a memory.

He remembers you tucking his into his wallet and how you had tucked yours into your wallet.

"Now we match!" You lips and tongue were blue from the candy, but Komaeda didn't mind. You still looked really pretty.

"Now that we're married..." Komaeda trails, staring up from the grass. "What do married people do?"

"I don't know," You pause. "They kiss and have kids... and stuff."

"But we're still kids," Komaeda mumbles. "We can't have kids yet."

"Yeah," You pout. "But promise me that we'll talk about it when we're older!"

Komaeda intertwines his pinky with yours, and he mumbles to himself. "What if you cheat."

"I would never!" You gasp, sitting up. "I could never do that! Nagi, I love you!!! People who love each other don't cheat!"

"Alright," Komaeda sighs. 

"You won't cheat either, right?" You mumble.

"Yeah," Komaeda grins. "I could never. I love you a whooooole lot!"

"How much?"

"Thiiiiiiiis," Komaeda waves his hands around. "Much!"

"Well," You mumble. "I love thiiiiis much too!" You mimic his wave, and Komaeda laughs. 

"No I love you more than that!"

"Oh, yeah? Prove it!"

Komaeda wakes up to the sound of his alarm, dragging his limbs out of bed. Ah, how nostalgic. His luck had moved you away from him immediately after the two of you got 'married'. He misses you. A lot.

Komaeda stares at the clock on his bedstand, and he glances at his wallet and keychain. He had dug a hole through the ring to loop a chain through. It's carried around with him. The photo of the two of you is in his wallet, tucked behind a plastic covering to avoid getting ruined or wet. 

The sun presses kisses to his face, and he washes up for the day. He brushes his teeth, eyes trailing to the necklace hung up. He dries his hands, and he clasps it around his neck. Tucking it gently behind his uniform collar, he grabs a slice of toast, and he heads to school for the day. 

The sun burns his skin, but he supposes he'll be fine. He has sunscreen on, and he's sure he'll live. He doesn't get sunburnt as often anymore.

He wonders how his luck is going to affect him today.

Stopping at the vending machine for a drink, he opens his wallet. As he does, to glance at the photo, it starts raining. Komaeda panics at the sight of the photo getting wet, and Komaeda feels his heart shatter in his ears. Rushing to get under a roof, he tries drying the photo however he could. It gets worse, and Komaeda feels his stomach churn uncomfortably. He wants to cry. 

The panic flooding his body makes him unaware of anything else going on around him, and he bites his bottom lip as he gives up on restoring the image. That was absolutely awful. Is his luck trying to kill him? Oh, god. No. He's praying something good happens today. By the way his luck was, it'd be strange for something good to actually happen.

The rain clears up, and Komaeda rushes to get to school. 

He was held back; he didn't need to be late to class.

At the gate of the main course, Komaeda slips on a puddle and lands face-first into the cement. It hurts. He gets up onto his knees, and he rubs his nose. There's blood coming out. He grimaces, and he mumbles to himself. What an awful morning. Just how much did the universe hate him today? His luck was absolutely awful. What the hell?

A hand offers him a handkerchief.

"A-ah, no, it's alright," He smiles, looking up at them. "It'd be rude for me to dirty an ultimate's handkerchi..." His eyes widen at the sight of their face. "ef."

"Even if it's your spouse's?" You help him up, pressing the fabric to his nose, and you have him tilt his head forward to stop the nosebleed. Komaeda doesn't fight your movement, body relaxing at your touch. He missed you. Ah, he can feel tears forming in his eyes. "I'll take you to the nurse's office."

"A-ah," Komaeda panics. "It's fine!"

"I insist," You mumble. "I know how to stop one, but I need you to sit down."

Komaeda doesn't fight you as you lead him to the nurse's office. Mikan helps him out, and you lean on the wall as he gets treated.

"You're still injury prone, huh?" You laugh as Mikan excuses herself at the sound of the bell.

"We're late for class," Komaeda mumbles, getting up.

"I told Mikan to explain that we'd be late," You smile. "You can walk slowly."

Komaeda stares at you for the first time, taking your features in. You haven't changed a single bit. He stares at you, growing embarrassed with each passing second. You're so gorgeous. Hell. You look just as pretty as the day you left him. He wants to see you in white again. Can he propose again? Did you still have your ring base? Do you still have the photo? Wait. Shit. The photo.

Komaeda fishes out his wallet, checking to see if the photo had dried and was still in one piece. 

It is not.

"Nagi?" The name rolls off your tongue naturally, and you slap your hands over your mouth. "Sorry. That came out naturally. I'm not sure if we're-"

"We're married," Komaeda swallows, face red. "You can call me whatever you want. Uh, my photo... got ruined. I'm sorry. You can smack me if you wan-"

You gasp. "You still have the ring!" Komaeda jumps in his skin, and he watches as you pull a necklace from under your uniform. "I have it too!"

Komaeda's throat goes dry at the sight of you with the necklace. 

"Ah... I," He fishes out the necklace you bought him, and he pauses.

"You still have it!!" You gasp. "Nagi!!"

Komaeda catches you in his arms, and you peer up at him, eyes bright with life. "Let's get to class. We have to tell them we're married. It just makes sense to!"

As Komaeda gets dragged by you again, he can't but feeling he's at peace. Home is where you are.

"Can... I propose to you properly when we put it on paper in the government?"

You look back at him with a grin. "That's a given."

For you two to meet isn't too difficult because of this, although is probably that Junko won't be interested in you right away unless she senses the despair you are going throught

Junko's interest and obsession on you will grow really fast, once she notice the problems you are having with the bullying thay imediatly pick her interesant, she probably will watch you from afar but has no problem with going with you directly immediatly, she just wants to be able to observe you and find out how much this is affecting you. Junko is incredibly smart and observant so it won't take her much time before she gets all the information she can, how much students and who is bullying you, how much it affects you, what hurts you the most, what you do to cope with the bullying, and so on, she gets all the information until she is satisfied

Although, she will never really grow fully satisfied, the more she learns for you the more obsesive she grows, for what she just wants to know more and more about you. She started by just getting interested because of the despair but it slowly becomes to be interested in all of you, and no matter what you say or do her once Junko grew obsessed over you she will never leave you alone

For you two meet, or well, for him to start actually interacting with you has to be because he has see you around the campus more than once, already seeing people bothering you but also seeing you still go on with your day or that he doesn't know that you are talentless, in any case it won't take much time before you pick his interest and he start to actively trying to learn more about you, either by watching you from afar or directly starting to talk with you (if he doesn't know you are talentless he will saying self-depracating things but not much since he isn't sure if you are an ultimate or not)

Nagito's ideals were deeply ingrained and he couldn't go against them, so for him to actually start falling for a reverse student has to be because he already knows your potential, after watching for a while and getting to know you better he will slowly get convinced that even if you are a talentless you are really hopeful, going to Hope's Peak Academy despite not having any kind of talent, getting constantly bullied by it and still always making your best to keep going, to keep attending to class and trying to have some peace shows the great hope inside of you

It take a while but once the simple idea of you being quite hopeful grows on his mind the idea will only grow more and more with time, from now on, in his eyes, everything you do is for the sake or motivated for your hope, no matter what you do nor what you think of himself that won't change the way he sees you now, or his growing obsession for you

He takes a little advantage of your position as a reverse course student to get close to you, interact with you and even being a little pushy with it if you don't seem too interested on him, even when he had started looking up at you he doesn't treat you as the hopeful deitity he sees you yet, you are still a reverse course student and it would take him a while for him to get used to that, but in the meantime he is acting really kind and friendly with you

He tries to spend all the time he can with you by the excuse of just wanting to be your friend, while, in the shadows he is just feeding more and more his believe of you having the potential to become the ultimate hope. Nagito lull you into trusting him and charm you with his friendly attitude until you two are really close, and then is when he start to show more his worshiping and obsesive tendencies because to that moment he already knows (or have convinced himself) how hopeful you are, even if you would find it weird or even disturbing there is not way to turn back down, he has found the ultimate hope and he must protect and serve them (even if he sees himself unwhorthy)

At first, the bullying you recived used to be something that he didn't care, but now that he knows how hopeful you are he can't just have that, he rather take all that hate and mistreat on himself than letting anything bad reach you, that is why he tried to protect you from the bullied by diferent ways, keeping you as far away from those people who just wish you ill and taking it himself (if he can), although he may even start thinking bad of them, even if your bullies are ultimates they aren't even close to be able to compare to you, so he may just teach them a lesson for even just thinking bad of you, but that would depend on what they have done to you and how bad do you feel about what happened, or if you ended injured (although, he is pretty easy to be trigger when it comes to you, specially if your safety is on risk)

Nagito is determinated to protect you and keep you safe from anything and everything, his own sanity slowly starts to depend more on you, that is why you being bullied start to make him feel paranoia, he already fears that you might end up hurt because of his luck but you being actively hurt by others just makes his worries be even worst, to the point where he just can't keep calm when it comes to your safety. If he is able to stop the bullying his paranoia won't grow much, but if his efforts fails and the bullies keep going he may just snap and do something serious against them or even just kidnap you

It sadden Nagito to be so far from you during classes, he can't just concentrate in anything else because his mind is just full of thoughts of you, from wondering if you are alright to feeling like a failure for not being there with you, or even feeling unwhorthy and thinking that probably you will be better if he just stays away from you and leave you be (although his paranoia won't let him leave you alone), he isn't able to calm down until he is able to see you again

Ibuki Mioda

Ibuki is a really open minded and friendly person, she likes talking and making new friends so if she ever get to know you she won't think twice before already treating you as a friend, for her it doesn't matter if you are talentless or ultimate, she want to know your true self

She may don't fully get that you are being bullied if she doesn't see it personaly, but she does notice the little hints like being uncomfortable or even weird out by the fact that she is talking to you like a friend, she acts goofy and friendly but she is weel aware how a lot of people take advantage of the school system to pick on reverse students and that is why she tries to don't make a big deal out of it

It probably won't take much time for Ibuki to cross your wary walls and get right into your heart, even if at first is just by being friends, she is just happy that you finally accept her and from then she won't leave you alone never again

Ibuki end up falling for her darling because of her personality, no matter if you are introvert or extrovert she'll find you incredibly adorable and fascinating in your own way and that is when her obsession becomes, it grows so slowly and inconspicuously that is almost scary, and, since her whole behavior is always being affectionate, clingy and energetic it isn't that weird and can come across as normal when she start to become more and more clingy and invasive
