Summary: You and Law are inches apart, staring at each others lips, and just before you kiss, someone pulled you apart. But Law isn’t someone who let go that easily.

Law and you are fighting against the marines. They’ve been following you on the island since you’ve docked on. The other members of his crew are somewhere else while your crew, the Straw Hats, are within sight.

While Law is sounding his devil fruit abilities to cut the soldiers apart, you used your card magic to capture some of them inside or attack them.

"Watch out, Y/n-ya!" "Behind you!" Both of you yelled while taking care of the soldier that was sneaking up behind the other. "Don’t let your guard down." The captain of the Heart pirates warned you. You smirked slightly. "Same goes for you."

More and more marine soldiers with their admiral came, forcing you and law to be cornered. "Hah! You two have no where to go!" One of the soldiers yelled, laughing while the others chimed in.

"Room." You heard Law whispers in a low voice and within a second, the two of you are gone. "He escaped!" "Search for them!" While the marines panicked, you found yourself in a narrowed alley with Law. His body was pressed against yours while your back hit a wall.

"That was close. Thanks." You smiled and looked up, meeting his eyes. Law didn’t answer. He was observing you silently. Your cute lips, your beautiful eyes and your voice that was music to his ears. He let everything about you sink into his mind.

His intense stare made you more than just nervous. He was looking at you like you’re his prey. But somehow you couldn’t help yourself but think it’s attractive. How couldn’t you when a hot man looked at you like he’s doing now?

You already forgot that you’ve been fighting marine solider earlier, only looking up at him. Slowly, he leaned down, his eyes fixed on your lips while yours were glued to his. His warm chest against yours didn’t help at all.

You placed your hands on his chest, feeling the warmth of his body even more. The tension between you was hot and dangerous but you two somehow knew that the other one wanted it.

You leaned up, your lips almost touching when a hand suddenly appeared on Laws shoulders, making him flinch.

"There you are, Torao! What are you doing there?! We have to fight the marines!" The voice of your captain rings to your ears, already anticipating what’s going to happen next.

And as it turns out, you were right. Law was pulled away from you instantly, leaving you alone. Before you could react properly, the upper body of Robin appeared in front of you.

"Y/n! There you are. We need you at the shrine near the mountain. Can you please come?" You didn’t react to her at first, the thought that you’ve almost kissed your ally made you feel…weird?

Why do you feel so warm? We’re you…nervous? Excited? You felt your heartbeat in your ears. It was loud and clear. You were nervous.

"Y/n? Y/n!" Robins voice pulled you out of your thought and you flinched. "S-sorry. How’s the situation? I’ll come as soon as possible." The upper body of Robin disappeared into petals as soon as you said that and you made your way to the shrine, still thinking about what just happened.

The Thousand Sunny was quiet as the sun rises. The only sound you heard was the crash of the waves and the birds. The night before, where all of you fought against the marines, you could only think of Law and the kiss you almost shared.

You coughs yourself feeling warm and your heart quicken at the thought. You are falling for him. Hard. And you don’t know how to deal with that.

Just as you were about to return to the girls chamber, a familiar blue area speared around you and a second after that, Law stood in front of you. You were surprised and wanted to ask what he’s doing on the Sunny when he grabbed you by your waist and pulled to into his chest.

"I am someone who finishes something once I have started it." That’s when his lips was on yours, his grip firm but gentle. In that moment, your brain turned off. You didn’t returned his kiss but as soon as you felt him pull away, you wrap your arms around his neck and pulled him down.

It felt like minutes what probably just were seconds before you two pulled apart. Neither of you are saying something, you just stared at each other before you kissed him again, feeling the need of his soft lips on yours.

You never want to let go of that feeling and neither does Law.

More imaginary friend au,,, always feels like I'm part of the crew when watching or reading One Piece, it's amazing how comfortable and safe it makes me feel!! It feels like I'm with them sailing the seas. Included even if I'm not there? Does anyone else feel like this? Probably. But yeah it's neat.
