WEAPON OF CHOICE:
* Pepper spray;
* Whistle;
* Taser;
*Walkie talkie.
OTHER PERSONAL INFO:
*Only came out as queer to her family when she moved to New York and became fully financially independent. Her maternal grandmother and mother were accepting right away (yet still always acted concerned that if more people knew about her sexual identity, she would become a target of homophobic violence), while her father had more difficulty accepting this fact at the first.
*Anne is a Progressive Episcopalian;
*Met Dana Barret during the winter at the Rockefeller Center Ice Skating Ring. Dana was an expert in ice skating, but Anne wasn't and they accidentally collided. Both laughed and Dana helped her get up, teacheing her how to be stable on her feet. They went to a cafe for a hot chocolate and then arranged to meet every day.
Its was during their conversation at the cafe that they learned both coincidentally shared a brief flirting (turned friendship) with Peter Venkman.
When the ice skating season was over, Anne worried that it would be the end of their time together but Dana asked her to come with along to the last frozen lake ,and that's when Dana came clear about her feelings with a romantic dinner.
(thank you @professorlehnsherr-almashy for coming up with this romantic scenario)
*Dana went to live with her in Forest Hills, Queens.
*When the two decided to have a child in 1989, since the two weren't oficially married (they would have to wait until the legalization of same sex marriage in 2014 to finally make their union oficial), and there would be too much burocracy for one of them to adopt a child as a single parent, the two agreed in one of them going trough the proccess of in vitro fertilization and artificial insemination. They settled with Dana going through the pregnancy because the medical exams showed her having better physical condition to carry a child to term, and this way they had Oscar, who was registered as Oscar Barrett. Oscar calls Anne "Ma", while Dana is "Mom".
NAME ANALYSIS:
Anne: "Favour" and "Grace".
Hill: "Person who lived on a hill".
Lawson: "Bright one".

Collaboration:
The painful truth that we have to face is that we cannot separate fear from love. And here we are, afraid to give in to the danger that awaits. I am guilty—I cannot risk loving you if that would give me the chance of losing you.
I'd ask you a thing; would it be possible to love you without facing the fear that one day you'd wake up and decide that you don't want my love anymore? If I told you that I'm starting to see stars in your eyes, that your subtle warmth is starting to take me to galaxies, would you still want me near?
I am not even planning to ask you to love me back. I'm just hoping that I can love you. I'm just hoping that you will let me through your own galaxy, and I'll keep on listening to your stories. I'll stay on your tragedies. I'd do all of these things and more, more than you'd ask, more than I know I can.
And all I'm asking for is for you to let me—let me love you. Darling, you don't have to love me back. We could run away from our fears. Let's stay like this. Just let me stay, forever.
I don't need to be your lover to give you all my love.
— Dream, l.e.
I'm sorry. I know I am a coward. But I will always choose to be one, instead of the uncertainties of the future. Truth is, I always see us until the end of time. I always see us, sitting on the beach, drinking beers and vodka, listening to waves on a cold summer night, talking about how life punishes us. I always see us celebrating our birthdays, Christmas, New Year's Eve, together, with our families. I always see us sleeping in a single bed, with no harm to each other, just a friendly back hug until you fell asleep.
It's not that I don't love you. It is because I love you so much that I am too scared to lose you if ever I mess things up. I am too scared that if everything falls apart, we will never come back from the way we used to be.
And I am too scared to hurt the person, I imagined for years, that will be in my life forever.
