This week I'll finally be able to start working on watercoloring the lineart @jilljoycearts made available!

I just finished preparing the paper: I had printed the lineart, but as I have discovered previously, printer ink will blur and create a mess if I go over it with watercolor directly (because, water 🤡 it should be obvious but I'm a little dumb 🤡). So now I go over any printed lineart with nankim (china ink? India ink? Don't know the right english name, but the one originally made from octopus ink 😶) before paintung, because it is waterproof once on paper, so no blurring or mess because of black bleeding into other colors.

I'm thinking of making a detailed background; if I decide on this, I'll need to use masking fluid for safety, which I'm not thrilled about 🤡 it stinks and it is hard to apply lol

Faz um tempo, queria treinar desenho com tinta e pena tinteiro. Gostei. Preciso de muito treino, desenvolver o traçado e experimentar os mais diversos tipos de pena que existem. Pra início, gostei da sensação.
