Sakura really likes it when you come along with him when he has to patrol with his friends. He knows that's your way of telling him you'll always be by his side and he definitely appreciates it – even if he hates it when you get caught in a fight because of that. Thankfully, it doesn't happen that much. What he doesn’t appreciate on the other hand is that you tag along even during winter when you’re a rather cold person – by that, understand that you can’t warm yourself up to save your life. Which gets him really worried when you follow him around outside for hours sometimes.

As he usually walks faster than you, he slows down his pace constantly to keep you next to him and can’t help but keep asking if you’re alright, not too cold. Also nagging you about staying inside so you’ll be better, all of that with a subtle blush and you can’t tell if it’s from the cold or the fact that he’s actively showing how much he cares about you. But you like it, a lot. It makes you feel loved. 

Even if you keep on reassuring him that you're fine, there’s always a frown on his face – he never believes you. He wished you could just wait for him inside, at Koroha’s place. But you almost never listen and it gets him nervous about your well being. The second he catches a glance of you rubbing your hands together, you are done. 

“You’re cold,” he states in a sigh. That’s not even a question and you can’t tell him overwise when you just got caught. In the rush, and making sure the others aren’t looking, he takes both your hands in his before rubbing them together gently, in hope to bring back some warmth to you. 

There’s a flustered smile on your lips when he brings them close to his mouth to blow warm air to be more efficient. Your hands are deadly cold yet he never frowned or jolted at the coldness, only caring about how you must feel. 

“We should take you back to Kotoha to wait for us,” he speaks again, thinking to himself. You shake your head in answer.

“That’s not necessary, I'm fine really.” You’re ruse to being cold like this all the time, but that’s not something that works with him. 

“I’d rather know you in a warm place anyway…” he’s shy when he answers you back, looking away from your eyes but that’s why you know how much he means it. 

“Tell me you love me without telling me you love me,” you giggle to yourself, already thinking about your friends reaction when you’ll talk about this to them. 

“What ?” 

“Nothing,” you add, kissing his frozen nose to make sure to fluster him. “I’ll go back there alone, don't worry about me. Meet me later.” He’s puzzled but still nods at you, still trying to understand what you said.

He’s reluctant to let you leave alone, because he’s just like that now, but you only got to sigh for him to let you go anyway.

Narumi hates having you around on his day off, you're already in his team, why would you stay with him even though you're both supposed to take some rest? In fact, it's not that he doesn't like having you around – he loves you, you're his lover. The real problem is that you're a pain in the ass when he wants to play ; you're always making dumb comments while laying on his back, rolling around on and off of him, making him miss half of the time. You were playing with his nerves on purpose and honestly he was seriously thinking about banning you from his room.

“Narumiiii,” you whined, still on his back with your face nuzzled in it so far he could barely understand what you were saying. “I'm cold and you're ignoring me.” 

“Take a blanket and shut up, I'm gonna win this.” He said, on edge because of his turn not going as well as he wished it would. 

He heard you leave, with a small sigh before feeling your body move a little and thought to himself that he was finally free. Until he felt your cold as ice fingers lingering around his waist, inside his shirt. He squealed at the sudden and terrible feeling and stood up on his knees before you could do anything about it.

Your laughter filled the room at his high pitch scream and you couldn't help but cuddle up closer to his back while he was fighting to get you off his back. 

“You're really annoying you know that! Get away !” He yelled at you, making you laugh again. 

“Maybe you just shouldn't ignore me,” you suggested, gripping on to him like for dear life. He sighs deeply and stops moving around. 

“Fine, let go.” He was resigned, you could tell, so you let go of him and wasn't that surprised when he sat back up, pulled another blanket he was resting on and patted the space between his legs. 

A dumb, happy smile shows on your face and you rush in, nesting yourself where you like it the most, against him and with his arms around you. He could tell you were satisfied and to be frank, he was too. It always feels nice to have you close, even if he acts like it bothers him.

“Say Narumi,” you started, laying your head against his chest. “I know I'm annoying but, tell me you love me.” He sighs at your stupid words.

“I wouldn't bother if I didn't love you.” he finally said, leaving a kiss in your hair before returning to his now lost turn.

Romance visual Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Enhanced Edition will launch for PC via Steam on October 17 with English and Japanese language support, aNCHOR announced.

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien first launched for PC on August 3, 2001. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Latest Edition, on which Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Enhanced Edition is based, launched on March 28, 2008. Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Enhanced Edition will be the game’s first official English release.

Story

“Time is both the kindest and the cruelest thing… It heals the wounds in my heart, but steals away my love for you.” Choosing one person always means hurting someone else… A realistic love story about a boy who’s growing up. Narumi Takayuki is a young man in his last year at Hakuryo Hiiragi academy. There’s not much time left before he graduates, but he still has no idea what he’s going to do with the rest of his life. He spends his days not doing much of anything in particular, and feeling a vague sense that he’s running out of time. One day, his classmate and female friend Hayase Mitsuki invites him and his buddy, Taira Shinji, to a summer festival. There, she introduces him to a friend of hers, Suzumiya Haruka. Haruka is an extremely shy, introverted girl, and since Mitsuki’s trying hard to make her feel like part of the gang, Takayuki does his best to make her feel comfortable as well. But for some reason, instead of thanking him, she goes out of her way to avoid him. He leaves the festival frustrated and annoyed. Days later, though, Haruka calls him out to the hill behind the school and tells him that she’s in love with him. Knowing how much courage it must have taken a shy girl like her to ask him out, he says finds himself unable to say no. The two begin dating, even though he’s not really interested in her. Just like he predicted, his conversations with her are strained and awkward. But as time passes, the two of them grow closer, and Takayuki finds himself falling in love with her sweet, innocent nature. And then one day…

This work is an all-ages version of the original game based on Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Latest Edition. As the player, you will take on the role of the protagonist (Takayuki Narumi) and deepen your relationships with the heroines. There are no right or wrong answers to the choices you face, and you’re free to follow the story however you desire. The voice recordings used are from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien Latest Edition and existing consumer versions. We have also updated the menu screens for a more modern experience. This version of the game can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of whether they’ve played the game before.
