So if Dante's hair is dark blue and Nana's is pink, and their daughter, Nekoette's is light blue. Does that Imply blue hair in the aphverse works like blonde hair irl?

As in some are born with dang near white hair and then it darkens (sometimes to brown) around adolescents?

Also I feel like Katelyn dying her hair light blue and it being treated like she's a bottle blonde somehow ties into this but I'm not sure how.

Yumi ashida, Nana's little sister.

She is extremely blunt and doesnt think before she speaks and goes fully with her gut, but she is also very protective of her sister with any boys

Nana's love life hasn't been the best and Yumi has been the one to see a lot of it, all her boyfriends had either been really werid about her being a hybrid or just jerks, Yumi doesnt like to see her big sister sad so shes always had the instinct to be quite violent around any boys Nana hangs out with, even if Nana is annoyed by this, she does understand why Yumi is this way and does appreciate it but she does want Yumi to not be so negative about boys and especially with making new friends since the only friend, Yumi wants to have is her big sister Nana!!

Yumi does "let" Nana have girls as friends though (really she has no control over that shes like 10), shes always said that Nana needs more friends that are girls anyway! buuuuut recently....

Nana has been hanging out with only one girl, and is extra close with said girl....

Kim matrom, the witchy green girl with glasses, she always seemed nice, kind and always good with thinking about her big sisters feelings and knowing what stuff she enjoyed

it was almost like....they liked eachother..romantically?

Yumi wasnt so sure she liked that or not, she might need to look further into this, boyfriends are the worst but if a girlfriend could be even more horrendous than her big sister would be in big trouble!

(Yumi is the new name for Nekoette! rewrote her to be Nanas little sister, she has too big of a imagination, super blunt and is way too protective of her older sister and overthinks too many situations)

in mystreet, aaron x dante and aaron x nana are pretty well-known ships in their own rights

Something about Aaron saving Nekoette and Dante immediately, and then spending his free time with Nekoette and Dmitri (and the other children sometimes) is really sweet

Nana and Dante having a sweet and pure family,,,, giving Aaron a warmth and love he once lost and never thought he’d experience again. Aaron spending his time with the kids means in turn with Nana… Dante appreciating how much Aaron loves and cares for his family in his own, and undeniably cute, way…. they’re all around the same age and Aaron would respect Dante and Nana sm and think they’re hot what who said that??

Literally i am probably the only person in the world who ships this but i SEE THE VISION…

my disability headcanons for MCD/MYS

- Laurance never got his vision back. Not completely, at least. The outer field of his vision is completely blurred, and sometimes it'll randomly get worse/better. In MyS, he's still mostly blind, but he was born with this. It honestly doesn't make a difference in his day to day life because he's so used to it, but he's so pissed that he can't drive.

- Dante has OCD, and he passed the trait down to Dmitri. They both have skin-picking issues as well.

- Naoki (Nekoette) has hyperactive ADHD, which she got from Nana. A lot of people think it's really funny, but when Naoki starts training as a guard, she and other people finally realize how challenging it is.

- Zoey's health starts deteriorating rapidly after giving up her immortality. She has chronic pain issues, and recurring migraines.

- Both MCD and Mystreet Katelyn are hella deaf. Like. Cannot hear for shit. In MyS she wears hearing aids sometimes, but in MCD she's like "WHA?" constantly.

- MyS Vylad is an ambulatory wheelchair user. (honestly i'm just self-inserting for this one lol) they have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and use a cane most of the time. They're very active on social media and are a popular disability advocate. It's why they're constantly traveling.

- All of the Ro'meave brothers are hella autistic

- Travis has a lot of chronic fatigue issues because of his demon form and powers and whatnot. When Aphmau gets her relic, and Garroth gets Esmund's, they also have chronic fatigue. The relics are too much energy for a mortal body.

- Levin has hella anxiety. Zoey and Malachai taught him how to manage it over the years. When he becomes Lord, the intensity of the job honestly makes him less focused on his anxieties.

- Malachai still can't function properly as a human. After being brought back to life, he's had a lot of chronic issues, that are honestly all over the place. He also has really bad dissociation, because he was DEAD FOR 900 YEARS.

Some characters in my rewrite are getting renamed and some unnamed characters are getting names! Here is a few of them

Nicole Von Ronsenburg - Nicole was born the eldest child of the Lord of Scaleswind. Her name when she was born was Nikola but she changed it when she ran away to a less Scaleswind sounding name to blend in further North.

Lord Von Ronsenburg - He never had a name in canon so he's named Alexander Von Ronsenburg now.

Nekoette Ashida - We don't have time to get into the many reasons I don't like the name Nekoette so let's just say I don't like it and move on. Her name is Reina now. I initially named her Rena after Lady Irene but then I changed it to a more Japanese name to fit with Nana.

Kawaii-Chan - This one is easy, changed her name from KC to her birth name from MyStreet because Nana Ashida fits the setting better.

Lady Irene - The religious figure's name is remembered as being Irene but her name as a person was actually Irena. Based on a random early S1 lore drop which was retconned but my ass went but what if it wasn't. In Scaleswind she is remembered as Irena, the person who saved their city. Throughout Ru'aun she is remembered as Irene, the Divine Warrior.

Abraham Goldwin - So he's not technically a character in MCD but he is important to my Zianna so he's important to me. Jeffory and Vylad's father, Zianna's ex-fiance. He is the person Abby is named after and the reason Jeffory and Abby use the surname 'Goldenheart'.

Shad and Irene's daughter - She doesn't have a name in canon but I am giving her one. She accidentally became my favourite character last night when I got a little too invested in her. Her name was Astra.

Finally and perhaps most importantly Aphmau herself - I decided I didn't really like her name so I changed it. Arja is a nickname of Irena in finish and it begins with an A. It's the perfect name for her.

Dimitri is a very active kid, he enjoys karate and the occasional game of soccer. When not in school he spends a lot of time at his mom’s gym, and is her biggest cheerleader during her boxing matches. They have a pretty good relationship, Nicole is pretty hands off with him, and he appreciates the independence, but it leads to him being pretty disrespectful the few times Nicole has had to go mom mode on him

Dante and Nicole dated in high school, where Nicole accidentally got pregnant. Dante did the best he could to help out, but they eventually decided they should go their separate ways. Dante hasn’t seen Dimitri since he was around 2.

When Dimitri got a bit older and Dante got settled with KC, Nicole and Dante decided try more of a coparenting situation. Dimitri was apprehensive at first, but quickly became friends with Naoko. After that, bonding with Dante and KC came pretty quickly.

When first meeting her, Naoko was as much of a girly girl as a person could be. Princess dresses, tea parties, dolls, the works, all of which she begged Dimitri to do with her. This was embarrassing at first, but he eventually got used to it.

One day Dimitri showed her his videogames, and she immediately hyper fixated on them, quickly matching and eventually surpassing her brother’s skill. She enjoys the cute little farming sims but is equally into more combat based games.

Imagine this sweet little seven year old suddenly dropping into professional gamer speak

Videogames quickly become their favorite bonding activity, as it’s something they enjoy equally !

Season 3 Designs

Dimitri (12) and Naoko (9)

I wanted to keep their basic armor vaguely matching, but not just pink and blue copies like the og skins. Since Naoko showed interest in the bow and arrow I gave her a lot of ranger inspired details, with the hood piece and leather bracers. I kept her outfit practical but still a bit femme, despite her serious expression here she’s still very much a little kid who likes pink and flowers.

For Dimitri I wanted him to have pieces of both of his parents. So he has some samurai inspired tunic and shoulder plates like Dante and arm wrappings like Nicole. And while in season 2 he uses his dads old katanas, in season 3 he’s switched to his own pair of short swords, he kind of wanted his own thing rather than copying his dad.

They’re mostly trained by Katelyn, with some occasional lessons with Dante. The art is definitely a bit misleading, they’re far from cool and composed warriors at this point. But they love training together, and are both eager to learn.

I doubt Juno and Dmitri are the same person. Dmitri has pinkish skin, grey eyes, has a different name, is a human and his hair is a sonic blue.

Juno has very yellow skin, dark blue eyes, has a different name, is a Werewolf and his hair is a very dark blue.

I see no reason they'd be the same person outside of similar bangs and being friends with Neokette.

Yeah, they're obviously not the same character but I do think they're meant to resemble and mirror each other.

Same basic colors, generally the same hair, and Juno was introduced alongside Nekoette. The connection is there, like referencing Dmitri but not actually being him. Like, the whole point of a reference?

That's why I called them counterparts but not the same!!

Definitely see what you mean, but in my opinion it's a little much to simply be a coincidence yknow?
