i feel like ive seen it before, but could you help me find the term for when your gender feels like a completely separate thing? (like it's outside of my body/not completely to do with my sense of self really?)

realizing my sense of gender may be different than others-

What you're describing seems like a genderplace term ( describing where one experiences gender ) plus a disconnect from gender ( aka a sentiogender ) and those two may or may not make up one identity.

Genderplace-wise , what sai think of first is exoplace , though it doesn't seem perfect. You might also be interested in nesgender ? If there's nothing else , I can coin something for you.

the grey gradient is to represent the overall disconnect from gender, with the two small “gender” lines inbetween to show that while you use this gender label, you don’t actually connect with it

so i finally decided to make my own gender flag- introducing Venngender!

Venngender: a gender that can only be identified in the overlap between two or more other genders.

To give an example, I identify with being Transmasculine, Autigender, Nesgender, and Oceanusvoid. while I do not feel like I fit into any one of these, when put together I feel like they create a complete picture of my gender.

while this flag and identity are primarily for my own use, it is open to anyone who wants to use it!

all alone at a quiet beach, you find an odd stranger singing to themself, singing to the calm tide, and you’re practically entranced. looking at the ocean, it looks like it’s... responding to the stranger’s singing? do you approach them, or do you just watch from afar?

on a roadtrip with a few of your friends, you guys stop at a small town for some lunch and a break. as you drive through, you start to notice how empty the streets are. you pull up to a local diner, and when you enter, there’s no one there, no one even working there. what happened here?
