hi yall! it’s time for another signature Bex Announcement!

this is something i’ve been thinking about for quite a while now, and it’s something i’ve recently shared with a few close friends. i’ve had a lot of nerves around this because i’ve been questioning my pronouns and gender and what it all means for me. i’m still exploring my gender and trying to find who i am, and right now i don’t have a label for my gender, but i am continuing to learn and explore my truest self! but, with that being said, i do feel confident about changing my pronouns a little! if that’s okay with yall? i’ve had such a special connection with the names i’ve chosen to use here on tumblr with yall, and i’m ready to further explore those names with new pronouns!

my new pronouns are she/he (though my primary ones will continue to be she/her)

i prefer she/her with the names: bex, jasmine, bubbles, starry

i prefer he/him with the names: baz, oliver

if yall could please use these pronouns with these names, that would really mean a lot to me <3 if you’re not specifically using one of these names, you can continue to use my primary pronouns of she/her. but if you use my masculine names, or if I am using my masculine names on my personal posts, please refer to me with he/him pronouns.

thank you all endlessly for all the support and love. yall make me feel so safe to explore who i am and i’m really grateful and thankful to you all for being here with me on this journey. I love you all <3

ok look. As a medical professional I must strongly advise against it... however there is someone you could go to who could up with a new pronoun for you... for a price. But you didn't hear it from me.

You must first rescue him from the prison of the food shop, go face to face with a guard and bribe him the sum of money they require to allow him is freedom this will not only free him but also act as the fee for his sagely wisdom. You must then venture to the location your new pronoun is to be assigned. He will give you instructions on how to prepare the ritual, follow them. Once the instructions have been followed you must blindly plunge your spoon into the alphabet pasta of knowledge. The word made by the letters on your spoon are your cure, your brand new pronoun.

How I wish I didn't have to only change my pronouns on accounts my irl friends don't follow. I don't know if they'll judge it or understand, and my ex friend used to hate it/its pronouns, I don't even talk to them anymore and their influence still overshadows me.

Tony trusted very few people with the knowledge that he was non-binary, Rhodey, Happy, Pepper and now Peter were the only ones. But despite this Tony never quite liked being referred to as they/them. Tony had nothing against people who used they/them of course, but it just never quite felt right and so he settled on still using he/him.

It wasn't until during a lab date with boyfriend Peter in which he talked about the various shenanigans of his college friends and mentioned someone using ze/zir pronouns did Tony start to wonder if there were better pronouns other than he or they to use. After a conversation with Peter on why his friend used ze/zir and just what neo pronouns were, Tony soon set out on researching them and at fifty years on age xe finally had a set of pronouns that worked for xem

Now's as good a time as any I guess! I've decided, for about a year or more now, I want to go by she/they/it 🤭

I had a very contentious relationship with she/her pronouns growing up due to religious stigma. femme presenting ppl were expected to be submissive soft spoken. As an independent adult I now understand that isn't the case, and I associate femininity with strength & beauty.

When strangers address me femininely, I feel a new sense of gender euphoria. I'm still non-binary, and there are transmascs in my system, (a topic for another time) but overall I now have the confidence fully to embrace the feminine aspect of my identity. Thnx 4 reading ☮️

have been questioning my gender for almost a decade, confused af the whole time, till recently.

never really considered i was trans for whatever reason. like i knew it was a possibility, but i never thought i could be trans if that makes sense.

my partner, bless his soul, has known i was genderqueer since the beginning aaand potentially anticipated this because he texted me randomly a few weeks ago saying if at some point i figure out i'm trans then he'll be announcing to his family he's gay now.

(side note how tf did i get so lucky)

but it was like he was giving me permission to present as not cis and it was really freeing, even tho it's messed up that i was subconsciously waiting for something like that.

i came out to some family members who were probably never aware that i was queer in the first place. it went well. but using they/them pronouns felt wrong almost as soon as i started using them. like a little voice inside me that was finally allowed to speak was always insisting his pronouns were the right ones. i couldn't say i was nonbinary because i knew he would be disappointed.

i identified as nonbinary for a while because it seemed like a happy medium. i'm not agender, bc i have gender; but i've come to realize that my love of girly stuff isn't gender, and while i do identify with some aspects of enby, i strongly identify with the trans experience™️

so now i've gotten to this point i think i've finally fucking found it.

1st and 2nd Person Neopronouns

Ok first of these are absolutely AMAZING. Like why didn't I know about this before, cause if I did it would make my life so much more fun. Okay here's a random fact about me I switch between using 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person when talking about myself sometimes even in the middle of the sentence. So having these will make that even more enjoyable for me to do. Also it will confuse some people and confusing people is one of my favorite things to do. So except me to use these every once in while, also the only reason I'm not using right is because I don't know which ones I want to use yet.
