I don’t care that you now added the word ‘new’ to it, it’s not new, I have been seeing this little house on my site since 2 weeks. Leave me alone I won’t click it and enter your little house.

I'm so happy this feature is back on the web version. I get insane amounts of dopamine when I see the mutuals icon in my activity feed. Please bring this to mobile

hey why do your certification badges thingy have all different.. colors ?
No clue! I didn't make any changes, so ... apparently this is what I get instead of polls? Or this is what happens right before your checkmarks turn into crabs?? I await further developments with bated breath!

Anyone else have this new mystery clock button??? It’s been grayed out on every post so far so I have no idea what it’s for.

Immediate reaction to the new "community labels" feature: I kinda hate it, but it might be the best bad alternative. There are tremendous pressures for an infantilized internet, most strongly from the app stores, and this is a way to kind of thread that needle. That's most likely the reason for the default to be "hide", as well; it's harder to claim to be outraged, outraged I say! at content when you specifically had to opt-in to see it. (Defaulting to "blur" makes more sense to me than just pretending marked posts don't exist, but I can see the counterargument that confronting a hypothetical bluenose with censored-but-not-hidden posts, accompanied by the reasons for the blur, might be just provoking.)
But the categories are... intriguing. Sexual content, sure, violence, natch, but a dedicated flag for substance abuse? There's got to be a reason for that, but it's baffling. And while I don't generally post anything that falls under any of these categories, a flag for substance abuse seems easier to fall afoul of than the others.
F'rex', I often post the Love Live SIFAS Daily Theatre episodes, which are generally squeaky clean. There's no violence — I think at most there's been a mention of a girl twisting her ankle — and sexual content maxes out at hugs (well, and what anime tends to refer to as "fun skinship among girls"). And you wouldn't think there'd be any substance abuse content in an idealized series about high school girls. But on occasion there's discussion of going to drink "sweet sake". This is amazake, a traditional Japanese hot drink made from fermented rice, often served outside around the New Year. It has either a very low or nonexistent alcohol content, depending on the way it's prepared, and is considered safe for children. But that fact isn't footnoted in the images. A naïve reader might hit the exchange, "Let's go get some sweet sake afterwards." "I love sweet sake!" and think it's depicting underage drinking. Is this something that needs a flag? Or more pertinently, is this not being flagged something that someone's going to get disproportionately outraged over?

taking icons away from reblogs is bad enough but there are Apparently??? cirumstances where it just doesn't fucking say who you reblogged it from??????? WHICH COMPLETELY DESTROYS A HUGE PART OF THE SOCIAL ASPECT OF THE SOCIAL BLOGGING SITE?????????
@staff this is awful--what problem was the removal of icons and removal of information about where a post was reblogged from supposed to solve? Also this is the *opposite* of making it easier to find content, since now you can't easily check out the blogs that the people you follow are reblogging from
