Log #18: 6 Nov 2021 (I Have A Problem)

I spent way too much of the last 30 hours playing Happy Home Paradise. I spent almost no time on my actual home island. I'm addicted. I'll get to the stuff I did there another time, as this is the place for Newharbor news!

I opened my 7th land plot this morning to welcome a new resident! I headed out to an NMT island and came across & invited Eunice!

Saharah visited yesterday, and Mabel visited today and tasked me with finding a place for the Able Sisters shop! I had already made room for it next to the nook shop so I placed it there.

My island is still at a single star for ratings, so my next objective is to start making other parts of the island look nice! I plan on keeping the back right corner of there island a nature preserve as I did back on Bluestone. Front right is bustling and busy already, but I have a lot to do with the left side!

I also plan to keep all buildings in the front right until I can terraform and give room for the villager homes to be on the left side of the island.

I've decided to say goodbye to my current island and begin anew tomorrow, as it feels complete and like its story has finished. I took photos with a bunch of things around the island this evening as a sort of sendoff and wanted to post my favorites here.

Copenhagen was my favourite city from the whole trip. It’s small enough so that you can walk everywhere around the city centre but still it hides many surprises. Picturesque and cozy, no wonder why it has been voted as the happiest city in the world.

Log #16: 4 Nov 2021 (Update?!!)

SO THE BIG UPDATE DROPPED A DAY EARLY. HECK YEA

All big releases aside, my campsite had its first visitor today and when I tell you my jaw dropped upon going inside-

I'm not the biggest Marshal fan but to see such a popular villager come to Newharbor so early in the game was a very nice surprise. It's not Pietro, but I'll gladly take it.

Another wholesome moment, I saw Goose and Nan running around in the plaza together so that was cute :)

Gullivarrr stopped by for the first time and I made a rather important edit to a screenshot for a personal laugh;

The fact that I'm half-blink and look baked out of my mind makes it ten times funnier than it already was

Last objective of the morning, I set up a second bridge to the back right section of the island! I had to rearrange some outdoor furnishings to make it work, but it was no problem!

I do plan on playing some more later (making money for the bridge, visiting Harv's island, etc) so see y'all then!
