^^^ It has come to my attention that whatever I post next (this post) will be my 5,000th post, so I've decided to make it a special one!

Did you know that I started this blog, it was originally named OfDemonsAndDruids, because all I intended to really post about was my fanfic series by the same name? And if you did know that, congrats! And thanks for sticking around, that's so cool :)

And for the rest of you! you will now be indoctrinated by the epic ODAD lore (which plagues my drain to this day, even after writing 176k words about it.)

George is the crown prince of the Mushroom Kingdom, a secluded but prosperous country which boasts powerful druid magic and control over the Lichens, a strange yet formidable species which bonds with humans when their true name is spoken. George, as the prince, is given a Lichen to bond with when he's sixteen, and the Lichen will serve as his guard, protector, and servant for the rest of his life.

Dream is that Lichen, though his real name isn't Dream. Dream is the "code" by which he goes so no one other than George can speak his true name. He has been trained his whole life to serve the royal family and to protect George with his superhuman powers of speed, strength, and stamina. He wears a mask, as do all Lichens, because their most powerful skill is that of control. When a Lichen looks at someone with their bare eyes, they can completely control that person (and yes, he can see through the mask. It's magic.)

Sapnap is, well, just some guy! He lives in a village north of the Mushroom Kingdom, but longs to leave home and go on an adventure. Maybe someday his dreams can be fulfilled...

Bad is a full-blooded demon, or at least he appears to be, when he wears his enchanted cloak which casts a shadow over his face. He's worked for years building a reputation as the best bounty hunter in the Nether, and works with his team of white wolves to hunt down his bounties.

Skeppy is an imp, a species closely related to demons, though they're about half the size and have wings instead of horns and a fuzzy tail. They're also shapeshifters, and don't follow the code of order that demons do. Instead, they're led only by chaos and a drive for trickery. Skeppy and Bad have been friends for a long time, though that friendship mostly consists of Skeppy teasing and trolling Bad, and sometimes his pranks go too far...

I've just barely scratched the surface about these guys (like this literally doesn't even get into the main plot) so if you're curious, give it a read!

Symbiosis is the main fic in the series, and follows George through the events of a war between the Demons and the Mushroom Kingdom. It's 100k words and very plotty, and focuses on DNF and the four muffinteer's freindship.

Maladaptation is the companion fic to Symbiosis, which follows Bad and Skeppy through the same events, but showing a very different perspective. It's 70k and just as plotty, but focuses on Skephalo (as well as Quackity and Skeppy's friendship - I started writing it over a year ago...)

And Devotion is a short follow-up to Symbiosis, which is basically just a nsfw DNF one shot that shows a bit of Dream's POV on his relationship with George.

While it's been almost a year since I've worked on this series, I want to say that I'm not done with it and I do plan on writing more in 2024, because I've been having some serious brainworms about these guys. But regardless, I hope you enjoyed learning about my complicated fantasy AU, or if you've read Symbiosis, that you enjoyed this walk down memory lane.

Dream Team: A Traditional Christmas

It's always fun to do anything with these three, but Christmas w/ them definitely feels more special and fun

Sapnap ans George are the ones who wake you up first thing in the morning, cause it's Christmas lol, while you and Dream try to get some more sleep in

They go to Dream first, so they can annoy him to no end, then they decide to gang up on you

Screaming, tickling, pillows thrown at you, anything you can imagine them doing to wake you up lmao

After waking up, and openings presents you brought eachother, you all decide to start cooking for lunch

George and Sapnap are in charge of the appetizers and desert

You and Dream get the rest, because Dream doesn't trust George or Sapnap with cooking

Even while eating you three will keep on a very good conversation, filled with laughs and jokes

One of you probably ends up spitting some food out from laughing, definetly not pointing fingers at a certain someone

Then the rest of the day is spent playing random games or watching movies, ending the night with a good 'ol cuddle pile on the couch

Skephalo: A Virtual Christmas

Since these two absolutely refuse to meet up, more like Bad refuses to take an airplane while you and Skeppy have been begging him for years now, you decide to have a virtual Christmas on discord

You three spent the whole day on discord togheter doing what you usually would do on Christmas day

Beforehand you brought and sent eachother gifts, so you'd take the time to open them on call

Skeppy's gifts sometimes being trolls or things about himself

Like I imagine Skeppy gifting you and Bad plushies with his face on them, so "I can always be with you" he says

You play Minecraft, without filming for once, among other multiplayer games

You played Mario Kart, bad idea, cause Bad kept on losing and got salty

Online Uno was the next, but Skeppy kept on giving Bad "+2's" and +4's"

Golf with Friends was another one you played, but you kept on pushing the other two off track yet somehow still winning

But, no matter how much you bickered over these stupid games, you three had one of the most fun Christmases ever

Karlity & Himbros: A Snowy Christmas

Quackity came to visit America for a while, so you and the other four decided to just spend Christmas togheter

I imagine the day of Christmas being a very snowy day, so much that you 5 decided to go out and "play" a little

Karl and Foolish kept on putting snow in the other three's coats, which would just end up with a chasing game

Punz and you randomly decided to make a snow fort and start a snowball battle against the other three

You two obviously won

Then you made a snow man and named him Antonio Banderas, you even gave him a little goatee and all

After tiring yourself out, you proceeded to go inside and make hot choco for everyone

In the end you all attached yourself to Foolish, cause man's jacked and therefore has more body heat

SBI: A Memorable Christmas

You five met up the day after Christmas actually, wanting to spend the actual day with your family and/or loved one(s)

So you brought whatever food you could from the previous day and all met up at Phil's house

Most of the day was spent talking, playing and getting annoyed by Tommy and his loud nature

Tristin had, so kindly, brought all of you sweaters with your name initial in the front and "SBI" written on the back

You all took many pictures and took little funny videos like you were modeling new merch

All of you, including Tristin, also took family style Christmas pictures that you all got framed to remember this amazing day

Tommy and you also took advantage of the situation to film some tik toks with the other three

You tried your best to get Techno to do one dance, he mostly refused, until you somehow managed to make him do one

Wilbur, on the other hand, was happy to do a silly little dance with you even if it wasn't perfect

At one point you decided to make ginger bread cookies, and try to create eachother

Which didn't end well because Wilbur and Tommy started throwing icing around and it turned into a food fight

Phil and Tristin just watched from the side as you and Tommy were mixing flower into Wilbur and Techno's hair

I can’t sleep so I’m thinking about my catastrophe crew au again.

I think the main cast would looks something like this:

Badboyhalo: initially an average channel 11 camera man who was assigned to the news helicopter, who becomes the helicopters reporter after tragedy and/or upper management befalls several of the replacements. He is kind of the head of the crew, in that he often comes up with the insane solutions to the problems they face (a reference to his big-finding skills on the Qsmp), but he always assists the others when they need it (after some teasing and being mischievous). He has a son, Dapper.

Tubbo: the helicopter pilot, and the youngest of the crew. He’s very smart and insightful, giving the crew advice and inspiration, and sometimes straight up solutions based on his observations. He’s very good with technology and mechanics, but since he’s too busy flying the helicopter, he doesn’t use those skills too much. Despite being fairly young, he has an adopted daughter, Sunny, who he takes care of when he’s not at work.

Bagi: the copilot. She takes over flying when tubbo is incapacitated or doing tech-y stuff elsewhere. She does copilot things (I don’t know how helicopters work) but she also has incredible deductive skills and logical reasoning. She’s very good at connecting the dots, and ends up finding out how the disasters that the crew faces are all related. (At the beginning of the show, she does not yet have Empanada).

Aypierre: the crew’s technician and mechanic. He stays on the helicopter to fox anything that breaks, and bring out odd little inventions to help with whatever bizarre situations the crew finds themselves in. He co-parents his daughter pomme with a number of other French people (they live in the same apartment complex as Bad and Dapper, which leads to Pomme seeing Bad as a father as well)

Tina: I don’t know what her job title would be, but she manages the broadcast of the sound and video from the helicopter to the newstation. She controls whose voices are broadcast on the air, which she occasionally uses to mess with people (I don’t know a whole lot about Tina, but I’ll probably come up with more details for her later)

Recurring side characters:

Cucurucho: a higher up (but not the highest up) at channel 11 news. He is the boss of all members of the crew, and is/was responsible for putting the crew together. He is mostly impartial and mainly focused on efficiency, but there are situations where they base decisions on their own desires.

Skeppy: the other reporter for the catastrophe crew, who stays within the channel 11 building. (Tbh also don’t know a lot about him. He’s probably beefing with cucurucho tho)

Relationships:

Bagina: the only relationship that will be canonized within the show. They are gay disasters around each other for a bit, flirt, date, and end up getting married and going on honeymoon right before thing get VERY BAD. Let’s go lesbians.

Cucuhalo: cucurucho has a crush on bad. Bad is dense as rocks. Cucurucho sometimes abuses his power for the sake of this one sided crush, like when he had skeppy relocated (to be further away from bad). Maybe they also live in the same apartment complex, next door neighbors or something.

Skephalo: you know how they are (probably). As the two reporters/anchors, they often have a bit of banter as the newscast switches from one to the other. They work very well together, but can’t work nearby to each other due to the jealousy of cucurucho.

Cucurucho and skeppy work in much closer proximity than either does with bad, so they have little passive aggressive interactions sometimes. Bad is also oblivious to this, and thinks that everyone should just get along.

SKEPHALO FIC -- ROLLERCOASTER (Fic generator prompt)

☆A/n : Like 700 words or so I dunno ‼️‼️ I didn't fix the spelling so erm cry about it if there's spelling errors <3 ☆

Bad and Skeppy were streaming, arguing as always.

"Yeah, Skeppy was so scared that he made me hold his hand. Oh and he was almost too short to ride.." Bad lied, a devious look on his face as he did. Skeppy, on the other hand looked offended.

"Hey!!! No!!! I begged you too ride it!!

"Nope absolutely not!" Bad protests at the younger boy next to him, an annoyed glare appearing on his face.

"Don't listen to this STUPID BITCH!!! I'll tell you what really happened." Skeppy says crossing his arms, a smirk on his face.

"Hey language geppy!!!" Bad exclaims a pout apperant on his face.

"Its just a Rollercoaster!!!!!" Skeppy whines in response grabbing onto the others shoulders and gently shaking them both back and forth.

"But 'Geppy!!!! It's too high. What if we fall off, or worse. Get stuck upside down." The older says, some of his words muffled from the two being shook back and forth.

"Pleasee...." Skeppy pleads, snivelling. The fake crying being loud enough for a few people to turn their heads for a minute. But Skeppy didn't care. Not really, he'd made scenes way worse than this in the past, because we'll. It worked. The loud whining and pleading had always made Bad embarrassed.

Panic fills Bad's eyes as he sees people staring at him and his whining and snivelling Skeppy. "Fine!!!" Bad quiet screams at the shorter boy next to him. "Just stop crying!!!!" He adds, and Skeppys posture instantly straightened at the olders words along with a large smile almost instantly.

"Yay!!!" The shorter boy practically screams before grabbing hold of the others hand and dragging him over to the biggest Rollercoaster there. Man, Bad was gonna regret this.

By the time they got to the line, which wasn't very long, sence it was a small, quite cute amusment park and all. Bad looked nervous, Skeppy watched as the boy next to him was tapping his foot to the ground and sweating. More than usual. Yup he was definitely nervous.

Skeppy grabbed the older boys hand once again and held it tightly in his, squeezing gently. Bad looked down at the shorter, a small smile on his face.

"I'll hold your hand the whole time" Skeppy chirps a big, dumb smile covering his face. Bad giggled looking at the sparkle in the slightly shorter boys eyes, it made his face heat up. Just a little.

"Okay but if I die on there it's your fault 'Geppy." Bad says pointing to the Rollercoaster, which was going right now. The screams of the people being clearly heard, one of them even screamed "We're all gonna die!!!". This made Bad shiver slightly.

The two waited in mostly silence for two or three more minutes before people started getting off and before they knew it the were boarding the Rollercoaster. Still holding Bads hand he guided them to the front as quick as he could, strapping them both in with that cold metal Rollercoaster bar. A big smile coated Skeppy's face and he was practically jumping for joy in his seat.

"Geppy.." Bad says, trying to get the other boys attention, poking his arm gently, a worried smile on his face.

"Yesss Bad..?" Skeppy asks in response, a large smile still on his face. Bad found it cute, but he wouldn't admit that.

"You said..." Bad mumbles before pausing. He breathes in shaking the blush from his face. "You said we could hold hands." He finally gets out, a warmth coating his face in a strawberry pink.

"Oh yeah..! Sure Badboy." Skeppy says, a small smirk on his face, as he grabs Bad's hand. Ready to ride the thing of Bads nightmares.

"Then we rode the Rollercoaster!" Skeppy says a smile on his face. "And it was so so fun..Bad was screaming the whole time and...-" The shorter boy trailed off as Bad stared at him, holding his own cheek in his hand. A small blush coated Bads face as Skeppy continued to explain what happened after and stuff that Bad didn't really have to add to.

Hopefully, people didn't screenshot this or put it in one of those "Skephalo moments!!!" videos. Hopefully, people just didn't notice the staring at all.

Everyone is sitting on a couch, where I have no idea but imagine that, and the couch is full. You can think these are happening in the same place but they weren't intended to unless specifically mentioned.

Disclaimer

My take may not be accurate at all because I rarely watch Forever's POV ( due to timezones and language barriers ) so please don't take this seriously or personal. This is just my understanding and thoughts, though I do base my takes on characters using other people's character analysises. Though there isn't any q!name, I am talking about the characters and not the ccs

Sometimes I wish there was more BBH ships that are more compatible? Is that the word? Well, except for starhalo because that ship is the most compatible, this post is kinda ( maybe not kinda ) directed at 4halo. Don't get me wrong, awesome ship. I can see it, there's a chance but there was a reason that I never jumped onboard ( except for the fact that I truly believe cc!Bad would never make his character settle down without someone that isn't skeppy )

Their dynamic is awesome but it felt like they never understood each other in a way? I'm not saying they don't understand each other at all, they do. But I'm talking about it in a specific way, that I can't for some reason describe. Sometimes I see them not understanding that the other is upset, I see them not understanding how important this subject/object is to the other, I see them not understanding when to stop when their teasing is actually starting to hurt the other. Unless they come to an agreement they will continue to butt heads until the teasing comes to shoving and pushing. Sometimes they never tell each other what's wrong or what's bothering them that the other is doing, never telling to the other that "hey, this thing you're doing is actually making me upset so please don't do that again" they just kinda.. move on to the next subject without talking about it.

Yes.. they have cute moments but I can't help but think that if they were in a relationship, their problems would just compile until one of the other notices and it ends up in a confrontation to an argument because both of them will think that all the things the other has done was on purpose.. saying 'will' because 'would' has very very low chances of happening in my opinion.

I just need a ship that is a mix of starhalo ( for the level of understanding ) and 4halo ( for the level of friendship and trust ) to jump onboard on. With the same teasing and bickering except this time they know each other's limits, understand what they can and cannot do, and would immediately break apart the act in favor of caring for the other.

Yes. This whole post was about me wanting a discount skephalo ship because I'm severely deprived of them.

just woke up from a dream about the next skephalo meet-up and after the intro there was a hard cut to them tipsy and (somehow) i in both each others laps at the same time? like giggling and play wrestling/hugging. then another cut to skeppy on top of bad trying to like rip off the eleastic of bad's underwear WITH HIS MOUTH and they were drunk? but it was still being played off as platonic and funny???? then cut to them at a little table the day after w bad's dad watching this footage with them like "🤨 is he a faggot?" and skephalo both like "😨 NO we're just having fun like look we're laughing!" then they made skeppy porridge and i woke up

May we perhaps get some examples of this clearly catalogued timeline of similar events please? I've been watching happyduo for a year or so at this point, but I can't call to mind another time that they've been this blatant

(for what it's worth, to me it does feel very much like a troll this time around, with how deliberately vague they're being. I just don't think I've ever seen them this bold before)

since you’ve put the big pause on monarchy restoration, do you still have plans to continue vampire menace? and if not what direction were you heading to take it in?

honestly? not really

I was excited earlier this year to bring it back for the spooky month but as you can see, halloween is just around the corner and I haven't drawn anything. my interests have shifted elsewhere so except for a rare post here or there I doubt any of my AUs will be making a big return unless something happens

vampire menace was supposed to be a one-off halloween au last year but I continued it mostly because people were interested to see where the bloodlust episode would go. bloodlust in itself was going to have a few follow up comics, the next one being Dream coming home and hugging it out with Sapnap. then there would be a comic (or a couple) showing how the episode affected the three. maybe even Sapnap reaching out to some other vampires to figure himself out

I also wanted to introduce more characters into the AU but uhhh there's a couple people that I'd much rather just ignore even exist at this point. the two that I was still looking forward to though were Skephalo with BBH as an ancient vampire that snf know and have been friends with through their entire existence, though with Skeppy I kept going back and forth on whether I should make him human or vampire. the other couple I was excited to introduce were Velvetfrost with vampire Velvet and his human boyfriend Ant, and they were disgustingly in love.

it would be mostly little sketches, simple slice of life comics. I didn't really have much more drama in mind for the AU besides bloodlust if that's what you meant
