They love me when others couldn’t
Jake x reader x neytiri
Tumblr media
There was a time in your life way before your kids and mates, a life that you lived in a different clan and with your family there. A life that was good and happy until it all came crashing down, and life was never the same for you. The love you had once had in your life in the past was no longer, and the only thing that was left was lionesses and being sene outcasted. After time of being alone in your clan you decide to travel pandora and find, new meaning to life after a while you finally found that new meaning.
y/n " ......." you are humming a song from your old clan as you were pushing the food that was frying, over the cooking fire making breakfast for your family.
????? " you have a beautiful singing voice"
y/n " good morning ma Jake" Jake is standing near the entrance of the bedroom he shared with his mates, when he saw you were awake and making morning meal. He soon sat down next to her and kissed your forehead.
Jake " the bed was less warm without you"
y/n " I'm sorry I decided to make some breakfast for us will you love some"
Jake " yes"
y/n " good once it done you can have some but you need to wait"
Jake " yes ma y/n"
???? " good morning ma yawnes" you and Jake soon had seen neytiri enter the room, she joined her mates by the cooking fire.
neytiri " you have to stop leaving us like that ma y/n, the bed feels less warm without you"
y/n " I'm sorry ma neytiri"
neytiri " here let me help you cook because if we like Jake cook, we don't know what we will get to eat"
Jake " hey I'm a good cook I now to fry food well"
y/n " yes you do my Jake" soon the sounds of the children awaking up had gotten everyone else attention, the kids soon came walking into the room.
kids " good morning"
y/n " good morning my children breakfast will be ready soon" neytiri had finish making the rest of the breakfast, as it had soon been served to the kids.
lo'ak " mama breakfast is so good"
y/n " thank you my love"
neteyam " dad do you have anything coming up today"
Jake " not that I know of my son it might be a relaxing day for the family and clan, but we have to see what happens"
neteyam " yes sir"
kiri " that means we can spend time with mama today"
tuk " yes please mama can we have a day with your today"
y/n " I will love that my loves"
neytiri " here I thought we will be able to have some time with you"
y/n " I can spend my day with you all but as I remember you two, might have some task that need to be handle"
Neytiri " you are right ma y/n"
y/n " thank you ma neytiri"
tuk " hey mama maybe you can tell us more about your journeys and life before you meet mommy and daddy" Jake and neytiri had gotten quite they did know, of your story you soon looked at tuk and pat her head.
y/n " sure sweetie I can tell you some stoires but not all of them until you are older"
tuk " yeah" the family ahd soon gotten done eating breakfast you and the kids soon left the village, head into the forest to hangout there today while your mates deal with their task and soon join the family later on in the day. Spider had joined the group as well when the family had stopped by the humans base to bring him along, as the kids wishes for him not to miss out on fun day.
lo'ak " wait so you spent most of you life traveling the world"
y/n " yes I did after I left home I took up the opportunity to become a nomad and see the world, I got to meet many clans and learn many things"
kiri " so that why you have all those jewelry and stuff form all those clans"
y/n " yes I will stay with them for a couple days until I had to on back, on my travels"
neteyam " wow I have always noticed you had some many friends from other, clans but I never knew that was the reason"
y/n " well it one of the many reason my boy"
spider " wow auntie y/n you lived a amazing life"
kiri " yes mama that sounds like a good life"
y/n " it was a good life but I soon decide to settled down and live my life in one clan, and lucky enough this was the clan I joined after falling in love with your mom and dad"
tuk " aww that so sweet"
y/n " yes it is sweetie"
tuk " umm mama what of you family back at home and other friends"
lo'ak " yes mom you most of had a life back in your old clan, what has happened to them why haven't we meet them"
y/n " that an hard topic my loves but the only thing I can say is that life was hard there and, I never seem to be what everyone thought I will be in my life .... I had given love to others and that love was accepted until it was no longer accepted ... so after a while I decided to leave as it was better for me and everyone else"
neteyam " wow mama you have went thought many challenges in life, challenges I don't think I can do in my life"
y/n " good as they are challenges I hope you all don't ever face" you had smiled at the kids you had been true to your words, as you had never wanted the kids to feel the pain you had felt many years ago.
Later on that night
Jake " come on lets go on a date"
y/n " okay what about the kids"
Jake " kids neteyam is the boss when we are gone listen to him and your grandmother"
kids " yes dad"
neytiri " dinner is already made now come on lets go and don't, worry I have made dinner as well to have under the stars"
Jake " I have everything else packed on bob come on" you had nodded your head after leaving the home, taking off with your mates soon coming across the place to have the date tonight. It had been a good time being under the stars with your mates and just being with them.
y/n " today has been a good day"
Jake " that good I hear honey we had thought it will be a good way, to end the day"
neytiri " so how was the conversation with the kids"
y/n " it went well I had told them what I can tell them for now" neytiri soon brought you into an embrace and looked at you. She soon kissed your forehead.
neytiri " they were all fools to let you go but now we have you here, and that something we love and care so much"
y/n " thank you"
Jake " if they ever come back we will make sure stand by you, and we will not take someone they couldn't love and see away again"
y/n " I will never leave the family we have here"
Jake " good now come on the night still young and we have the whole night, to be with each other so not let waste it"
neytiri " yes our Jake right we still have so much to do in life, and maybe we can see what else the great mother has to offer us" you had soon smiled as you soon enjoyed the rest of your night with your mates, they had been able to love you when others couldn't love you. This is where your journey had lead you and it was the best ending, of one journey and the began of many others as well.

Mama's boy
Tumblr media
Pair: Jake x neytiri x human reader (trio couple) x sully children's
Warning: none, lo'ak being a sweet little potato for is mama. Sweet family moment.
Request: (anon) You were incredible in these new chapters, if it wasn't much, I would have been able to do a trisal story about Jake, neitiry and reader human where she has 2 more hybrid children (half human,Half na'vi)..
Note: I have always believed that avatars may be able to reproduce with humans. Both males and females. Since there are human traits in their DNA. So both jake and his children could reproduce with any human. That is my theory.
AVATAR MASTERLIST | Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6(final)
Tumblr media
You loved days like this, it was a fresh and calm day in the jungle of Pandora. No one in the family had anything important to do. Just relax and spend time together. If anyone had told you that in a few years you were going to be sitting quietly on the floor of your home. With your son on your lap, while playing with one of his toys. With such loving partners, you wouldn't have believed them. And you had a good point for not believing. Neytiri and Jake were your mates, while you were human. The only human who was mated to two na'vi. The only human who had given birth to a na'vi baby, naturally.
Lo'ak had been born as a na'vi. With his distinctive braid, tail, skin color, ears etc. Just like his father, jake. But his human features were always there, he inherited your hands, some facial features that made him different from his siblings. Like kiri, they were a mixture of human and na'vi. This was not important to you, in your family these differences were not important and everyone was treated equally.
Neytiri was running around in circles playing with kiri, while neteyam was playing with jake. Meanwhile lo'ak was sitting very comfortably on your lap. Sucking his little finger, while you cuddled him. He was very peaceful, well…when he was with you. The bond that lo'ak had with you was very strong, he needed his mommy with him all the time. Neteyam and kiri were more active, while lo'ak preferred to be by your side. You tried to keep him away from you, so that he would become more independent. But it was all in vain, even mo'at herself told you that this was normal. That eventually he would become more independent, but he was already 5 years old, and he didn't seem to improve. Of course, this never bothered you… lo'ak became your own tail. Always behind you. Lo'ak could be with neytiri, about 3 to 5 hours. But then he would cry for you to hold him, and it was the same with jake. Lo'ak just wanted to be with you.
Neteyam ran to you, hugging you. The boy was about your size, but you didn't care. Hugging him back, to give him lots of kisses on his cheeks. Neteyam didn't notice but pushed lo'ak off your lap, causing the boy to fall to the ground. "mama… I want to be with you" says neteyam, now sitting where lo'ak once was. Lo'ak immediately began to cry. It was a very big and exaggerated whine. "Calm love…neteyam needs to be with me too" you try to calm him down, but you could barely touch him. Because neteyam was curled up on your chest. Neytiri comes closer, taking lo'ak in her arms to calm him down.
After a long six minutes, lo'ak calms down. But you can see how the child looks down from above, on Neytiri's shoulder. His eyes were watery and he was pouting. You try to ignore him, he has to learn that you were not only from him. Neteyam was also your son, as was Kiri. And they too demanded your attention. Kiri approaches his younger brother, hopping from neytiri's feet. "You're a mama's boy… an ugly, crying baby," Kiri says jokingly. Neytiri scolds her, while you and jake couldn't hold in the laughter. It was funny, but you take Kiri by the arm. Sitting her down next to you.
"Kiri…that's not right, lo'ak is special. He needs a lot of love" says neytiri holding the child in her arms, hoping he doesn't start crying. "No…mama is mine!!!!" says neteyam, hugging your neck more. Lo'ak whimpers, lifting his head from neytiri's shoulder. "Noooo mama is mine" shouts lo'ak.
"No!!!, only mine!!!" neteyam yells back, sticking out his tongue. This makes lo'ak upset, and he starts to cry. "nooo mama!!!! Let go of neteyam!!!!! Mama let go of me, I want to go on the floor" lo'ak is crying, while neytiri giggles a little. It's adorable to watch as the two children fight for your attention. Jake gets up from the floor, walking to your direction and taking neteyam from your lap. To now lay him down on the floor. Kneeling on the floor to carry you in his arms, bridal style. You laugh, as the children begin to whine.
"Technically, your mom is all mine" jake says, sticking his tongue out at his kids, reaching over to give you a kiss on your forehead. Watching as they start to whine. Neytiri was giggling, while now all the kids wanted her to carry them to keep up with jake. "Well…I'd say I'm more Neytiri's than yours" you say, reaching up to give him a kiss on the tip of his nose. (Y/N is wearing the oxygen mask I'm always mentioning, "click here" to learn more about it) Neytiti lets out a loud laugh, you could see her cheeks turn purple. Neytiri had a soft spot for you. Jake lets out a sigh of surrender and hugs you tighter. Leaving kisses on your neck, while you laugh.
In the evening, everyone was settled in their respective hammocks. You were finishing getting Kiri settled, while Jake put the boys to bed. After a while, you lay down in your own hammock, you were tired. You were about to go to sleep, when you feel little hands touching your arm. You open your eyes, finding lo'ak's little face. The child had his arms outstretched for you to carry him. Laughing a little, you hold the child. And settle him on your chest. Snuggling him with your arms, giving him lots of kisses on the crown of his head. "My beautiful baby…you are sad" you lullaby to lo'ak. He only responds with a "hmmm" and falls asleep in your arms.
Jake comes up to you one last time, to check that all was well. As he approaches, he notices how you and lo'ak were cuddling. "I imagined he was with you," Jake said softly. Leaning in to give you a kiss on the tip of your nose. "Well… you know what he's like" you joke. "He's a mama's boy…a cute mama's boy. You know…" jake pauses, thinking about how he was going to say what he was going to say next. "Eventually you'll have to let him grow up…kids his age are more independent and " jake is interrupted, when one of your hands goes to his mouth. "Shhh shut up…when it's time, he'll grow up on his own…in the meantime we'll be here for him." you speak, slapping jake's arm playfully. There was a small silence, until you see a playful smile on Jake's lips.
"Babe…why don't you leave lo'ak here quietly and come sleep with me and neytiri" jake takes your hand and gives it a kiss on the palm, causing you to giggle and blush. "Together…the three of us" jake jokes biting your fingers. You laugh softly, trying not to wake lo'ak. You think about it for a moment, and the truth is you missed sleeping with jake and neytiri. Lo'ak consumed too much of your time, so you accept Jake's offer. You carefully settled lo'ak down, making sure he was comfortable.
Jake was behind you, excited. You could hear his tail bump between his legs. He held your hand, walking quickly to the hammock that you and Jake and Neytiri usually shared. Neytiri watches as you and Jake approach. She gets excited, it had been about 3 months since you last slept with them. Reaching out her hand, she takes yours. You climb in easily, feeling Jake hold you around the waist. Both of you settling into the hammock. You were in the middle of them, neytiri hugged you. While Jake hugs you from behind, burying his head in the back of your neck. "I missed this," says neytiri, enjoying the comfort. A couple of minutes later, lo'ak's crying began to be heard. You lift your head from neytiri's chest, beginning to stand up. When you feel her hug you tighter. "No… Y/N you must let him calm down himself" neytiri says. "Y/N, neytiri is right" jake speaks.
"He ate, he's clean and he's comfortable. He can be alone" says neytiri, she was serious. You knew you had to leave him alone, but lo'ak was your baby. Your only baby. "If he doesn't stop crying in five minutes, I'll go check on him. You stay here and rest," Jake speaks, kissing your shoulder. Your partner had you in his arms, if it wasn't for that you'd be at lo'ak's side by now. And as if by magic, lo'ak stopped crying. Jake got out of the hammock and checked from afar. Seeing how the child had already fallen asleep.
"See…it's all right," says Neytiri, hugging you even tighter. You snuggle closer to her. As you feel jake settle in behind you. Hugging you both. This parenting thing was all new to all of you.

M A S T E R L I S T
Tumblr media
Jake Sully, a marine veteran at the age of twenty-two had gone through absolute hell on earth before ever setting his disabled ass on Pandora.
He thought he had seen the worse - comrades shot down right in front of his eyes, the blood covering their skin, blank dead eyes staring into his soul. Sometimes there were those who were actually blown to bits by bombs and grenades, screaming not even five feet away from him as they clutched their missing limbs, begging a nonexistent God for mercy.
Then there was his own injury. The pain he hardly remembered, because he had gotten to the point of delusion when they finally managed to drag him out of the war zone, half dead, and to the VA hospital.
The incoherent words he had heard after waking up from his surgery despite his hazy vision and buzzing hearing at that time, yet the truth coming out of the doctor’s mouth had still hit him in the face like the largest ‘fuck you and your life’ to exist.
“...ave severe spinal injury...fixable...expensive, marine.”
A severe spinal injury that was fixable but too expensive for a marine like him to afford.
For an active man as he had been in the past, the thought of being paralyzed from the waist had been his worst nightmare to the point of being ready to waste away his life.
Though even after all that shit, Jake Sully felt like he wanted to throw up as he stared at his oldest baby girl at the fresh age of fourteen laying there in front of him; delirious as he had once been in the same position, bleeding and bruised.
He could only thank Eywa that your heart was still beating and your body intact.
Well, mostly.
The almost nauseous angle of your left wrist certainly did not look natural. And their bones were fortified, stronger than anything else to human knowledge. Yet it had managed to snap as easily as that.
Neytiri - his beautiful, poor mate. She was distraught, one would say more so than him. Sitting only inches away from your fevering form in one of Hell’s Gate treating rooms for avatars, muttering prayers with dried tears upon her face.
Your injuries had been so severe that not even the abilities of your grandmother, the Tsahik, could heal you solely through the spiritual power of Eywa. These kinds of injuries needed the advanced surgery of human technology.
His other children were barred from coming inside, having been firmly ordered to remain in their village as he and Neytiri made sure that you would be okay. None of them wanted to keep them away, but neither did they want them to be traumatized by seeing your bloodied and broken form.
A stark contrast from the smiling and proud sister that they knew.
And yet, you had still managed to complete your iknimaya.
Jake watched with a bated breath from the air upon Bob, his own faithful ikran through the years, as he saw the slight encouraging push Neytiri had given you on the edge of the nesting place. Your, oh so small form, looked firm and stubborn as you steadily stalked forward in a crouched form, the band for the beak held in your grasp with determination.
He watched as one ikran flew away. Then another. And another. A third one. Fourth. Fifth. Sixth.
He had lost count after the eleventh.
You were getting frustrated, he could see that. Neytiri was still there, calling out for you to calm down. To be patient as he moved Bob a little bit closer, but not too much to distract you if you were to see him hovering.
And there he was.
Jake had seen it before you did. The vicious screech even reached him high up in the clouds and echoed above all the other ikrans.
He felt his blood run cold as the midnight blue beast, nearly black in color with its yellow and green detailing jumped down from the highest point of the rocks and landed behind you as you whirled around with snarl of your own.
But then as fleeting as it had been, you had grinned, taking in the magnificent animal despite its bloodthirsty aggressiveness.
“Aren’t you just precious?” Neytiri had told him of your words in the aftermath.
His mate hollered in encouragement, and he could hardly stop the prideful tug of his own lips.
Rather than you leaping on the beast, Jake straightened up as he saw the ikran run at you as well. Both were only inches away from crashing, as you last minute decided to slide beneath its belly - slight enough to fit as you rolled away on the other side and then slung the catcher around its mouth swiftly before throwing yourself on its back.
His expectations had been hopeful from that moment. Positive. But wrong, oh so wrong.
Rather than trying to snap at you by turning, he watched in horror as the ikran seemed to have a human mind as it slammed against a stone wall, you hitting it first.
Neytiri had screamed, already half leaping forward but stopping herself as she saw you still clinging to the beast.
Both had thought that had been the worst of it until the ikran tried it again. This time deliberately falling backward to land on its back with a rumble, where you were hung on.
“LET GO MA ‘ITE! LET GO!” Neytiri was yelling. Or begging. He couldn’t be sure in his own fear.
But both of them underestimate you, as a growl mixed with what Jake had assumed to be a painful yell from yourself erupted. Legs manage to wrap around the animal’s neck despite being crushed underneath its weight.
He saw belatedly you were only holding on to the banshee catcher with one hand as you pulled at its head hard enough to make the animal let out another vicious muted screech.
And then you truly proved you were his daughter.
“C’MON YOU MOTHERFUCKER. GRANDPA BOB WAS BETTER THAN THIS!”
The ikran had gotten angrier, trashing before suddenly rolling like a fucking bowling pin on the stone-covered ground.
Towards the edge of the cliff.
Neytiri ran, and Jake dove, both reaching out and screaming your name as you and the ikran fell off the edge.
As his mate leaned almost desperately over the edge, Jake forced himself to draw Bob back up, only for a few seconds - not to interfere with the rite. But it was in those few seconds he felt like his heart had stopped beating.
There was that familiar screech again.
Then you were soaring.
Up in a straight line, past Neytiri and him. Tsaheylu clearly made as the ikran listened to your orders.
There was a blinding grin on your face as you soared, clearly looking for him and letting out a whoop.
The moment your eyes caught his, Jake felt his grin slip.
Your eyes, open just moments before suddenly rolled back. Your whole body went slack as you fell over the side, your newly bonded ikran screeching at the sudden weightless feeling as the bond broke and your body went straight down.
Jake hadn’t heard his desperate yell, this time diving down without stopping.
He thought you were dead when he managed to catch you and flew back up, only to have Neytiri meet him in the air on her own mount, an expression so clearly in distress. Without a word, they both made haste back to the village, your newly bonded ikran following closely behind.
“How is she?” His voice sounded like it had gone over fifty years of smoking with no water. It felt like his whole body was weighed down with stones.
“She’s alive,” that’s all that Max could offer with a grim expression. “She will need surgery. The momentum of her slamming repeatedly against stones with the ikran’s weight on top has managed to collapse a lung.”
Jake had never wanted to sob like a newborn baby until now. But he needed to remain calm, or at least sane. For Neytiri’s sake, and your siblings.
“Usually surgeries like these lead to long-term conditions in life, but we’re certain that with the Na’vi biology she will heal just fine without complications. But it’s the healing that will take time.”
He was nodding along, but it felt like he was far away. Only hearing a slight inconsistent sound in his ears as he watched through the see-through glass into the room where you were all connected up to tubes and an oxygen mask.
It was so human, the whole situation of you being in a hospital bed for avatars - Jake wanted to laugh. Not in humor, but maybe in slight delusion at the situation.
“Okay, okay…” he swallowed. “Anything else?”
His human friend was taking pity on him, Jake knew.
Max has been there since the beginning. Seeing Jake growing his own family and now being placed in this position. “Besides the broken wrist and strained ankle, it’s mostly cuts and bruises. So she will have to wear a brace as well as remain seated for the next week or so. And check-ups every three days.“
“Yeah, we can do that,” Jake croaked. “When’s the surgery?”
“As soon as possible.”
Another nod. “Thanks, man.”
“Of course.”
He had to nearly pry Netytiri away from you as she snarled protectively. But he had to explain that she couldn’t join in on the surgery due to contamination concerns. The whole room had to be fixed to match that of a Na’vi body, the surgeons wearing oxygen masks as the space was filled with Pandora’s toxic air for your sake.
It was an open lung surgery, Jake had been told. A risky procedure even on earth. It had taken four hours. Four hours full of anxiety and fear.
But you had pulled through, Max said, Norm closely behind with a relieved teary smile himself. The man was like another uncle to the kids despite his avatar form. He had watched their ceremonies, rites and connections to Eywa. So to Norm, this was just like a family member to him.
You had slept for a full day and a half after the surgery, still confined to the avatar hospital room before your eyes had fluttered open with difficulty. A cough erupted followed by your painful whine at the action.
Netytiri had hushed you gently, crouching down and stroking your hair back. Fresh tears fell at seeing you conscious again after so long, sobs breaking out as you flashed a sleepy smile at her.
Neytiri had felt like Eywa had pulled the entirety of Pandora away from underneath her feet during the hours of your examination and surgery. Clutching Jake to her and never wanting to let go as her oldest baby was at the mercy of nature and your own will to live through.
But she knew.
You were strong. You always had been. And you had fought.
Neytiri had never imagined a day when one of her biggest nightmares nearly came to pass.
To lose one of her children.
She would rather throw herself off the highest point on Ayram alusìng than lose one of her precious babies before their time. She believed in Eywa with her whole heart and soul and knew their beings were only borrowed and one day had to be returned.
But Eywa would not take her children away from her until Neytiri herself agreed.
Until that time, she would do anything to protect them. But to have it happen during one of their most treasured rites in life had prevented her from doing many things.
Interfering for once. Because you had said so before as if knowing how horribly wrong it could go.
“Do not stop me, mama. I can do this on my own.”
Of course, you could. And you did.
Despite having to brush the doors to Eywa’s home yourself to succeed.
And as your parents carefully helped you back home to the village after five days of observation at Hell’s Gate after your surgery, you couldn’t help but snicker despite the stabs of pain.
Your mom had admonished you gently to not aggravate your wounds. Whereas your dad held back the roll of his eyes with amusement tickling the sides of his mouth.
“Why are you laughing, flower?”
Your grin was shit-eating as you looked up at him.
“My iknimaya was so much cooler than Toruk Makto’s.”
“You little skxawng.”

Orgy
Tonowari x Ronal x Fem!Metkayina!Reader x Jake x Neytiri
kinkmas masterlist
Tumblr media
warnings: 18+ MDNI! p in v, teasing from all of em, minor age gap between the reader and everyone else, orgasm denial, oral(Male and Fem receiving), snuggles afterwards
Tonowari was very careful, his hands gently gripped your hips as he eased you down on his cock.
“Feelin’ alright baby?” Jake whispered to the right of you
“Mhm…” You whimpered
“Such a good girl, aren’t you?” Neytiri smiled, her hand resting on your shoulder
“So compliant…” Ronal commented “Today.” She scoffed
This had become a routine. For one week, you were with Jake and Neytiri, and the next week, you went with Tonowari and Ronal. Once the two week period would end, all five of you would spend a night together and you were given the rest of that week as a break for yourself, then the cycle started all over again.
“C’mon baby, you’re doing so good.” Jake urged you on, his hand reaching to your clit
You gasp and your walls gush around Tonowari, making him hiss.
“She’s- she’s about to come.” Tonowari stuttered, trying to pull you off of him
Once again for the third time tonight, your orgasm was ruined by one of them.
It was for your own good, they said.
It was a punishment.
“Oh come on baby, don’t look at me like that.” Jake coos at you, his strong arms pulling you against him
Tears brimmed your eyes as you stared up at Jake, if any one of them were to break it would be Tonowari, but it didn’t hurt to try it with Jake.
“I said sorry.” You cried to him
“Sorry doesn’t change the fact that you were a hard headed brat with both of us.” He reminded you
“I was having a hard time!” You cried harder
You felt another hand creep up your side, cooler to the touch. You looked back and saw Neytiri.
Her eyes softened when she saw tears on your cheeks.
“It hurts.” You whine to them
“It’s alright.” Jake reassured you, his hand now sneaking back between your legs.
Her gently caressed your tender thighs, easing you to open them for him. He couldn’t help but groan when his fingers breeched your tight, wet hole.
“You’ve been doing so good for us. Don’t give it up now.” Ronal urged you
“Sweet little pussy is just gushing, isn’t she?” Jake teased, making a dreamy sigh fall from your lips
“Please…” You cried up to him, he frowned down at you disappointedly
“What do you think? Should I let her cum on my fingers?” Jake asked no one in particular
“Go easy on her, she’s been working so hard Ma’Jake.” Neytiri’s soft tone surprised you, you look back at her with pleading eyes as Jake worked your little pussy with his thick fingers
“This is why she acts the way she acts. You two go way too easy on her.” Ronal scoffed, making Tonowari laugh at her hypocrisy
Usually, it was Tonowari that let you get away with just about anything but Ronal never stepped in to stop him from spoiling you, so they were both at fault.
“Such a good slut for me, aren’t ya?” Jake grunted, ignoring Ronal’s comment.
You whine, clinging to him for dear life.
“Let her cum.” Tonowari stated simply, earning a slight glare from Ronal.
“You’re almost there.” Neytiri whispered in your ear “Let it out.”
You whine again, grinding against Jake now. Finally, you are able to release. Though your bliss is short lived because you’re immediately being pulled onto Jake’s lap on his big cock. The stretch made you cry out, it always did.
“So whiny today.” Neytiri cooed in your ear “Aren’t you?”
“I’m sorry.” You breathed deeply
“That’s alright baby.” Jake mumbled as he found his rhythm inside you “I like your little sounds.”
Neytiri reached around to play with your clit, making you moan louder.
“I love her sounds too.” Tonowari smiled as his hand found the small of your back, he leaned forward kissing your neck
“So it’s you that spoils her?” Jake teased Tonowari, who gave him a nasty look
“She’s good for me.” Tonowari defended “Can’t say the same for you two.”
“Is that true baby?” Jake asked you “You’re only bad for us?”
“M’ not bad.” You whine
Ronal and Neytiri share a look.
“You lyin’ now?” Jake chuckled
You can’t respond as Jake had hit a particular spot that made you see stars.
“Let me show you how good she is for us.” Tonowari suggested to Jake
Jake shrugged, lifting you off of his cock.
You whine at the now emptiness. Tonowari puts your on your knees, facing Ronal.
“You know what to do.” Tonowari urged you forward
You nod, adjusting your hips so your ass pointed perfectly up at him. Ronal reaches down and pushes your hair from your face and she finally spreads her legs for you, giving you access to her pussy.
You can smell the arousal coming from her, and your tongue eagerly dives in.
Your tongue swirls around her clit, exploring and teasing it until she is gasping in pleasure. You feel her hips bucking against your tongue, and you can't help but feel a thrill of pleasure from it.
At the same time, you feel Tonowari’s presence behind you. You can feel the hard length of him pressing against you, you whine as he rubbed the thick tip against your throbbing clit. You feel him sliding inside of you, filling you up with his thick, hard cock.
You feel him thrusting in and out of you, his movements getting faster and more intense as you continue to pleasure Ronal with your tongue. With each thrust from Tonowari, you work her clit harder, pushing her closer to the edge.
“You’re right there aren’t you?” Ronal teased as she held your hair back
“So good with her tongue, this one.” Neytiri praised you from beside Ronal
You can feel yourself getting closer and closer to orgasm, along with her body trembling with pleasure. Your orgasm is building and intensifying until it takes over your body, and you can feel her body quaking with pleasure as she comes with you. You collapse onto her in exhaustion.
Just as you begin to calm down, Tonowari pulls you up against him and begins to roughly thrust into you, little whines and gasps escape you as he ruts into you.
“Why can’t you always be a good girl, huh?” Jake asked you, now on his knees in front of you as Tonowari fucked you
“I am!” You whined
“Tsk, well if you were, you wouldn’t have been punished.” Jake lectured, as his hand palmed his cock “Hm…”
He put the tip of his cock on your lips, letting rest there until you opened up for him. You give him little kitten lick on his tip, making him groan down at you.
“Mmm, you are good with your tongue, aren’t you baby?” Jake smirked down at you. “C’mon, don’t tease me now.”
You start by licking his length from base to tip, letting your tongue play with the head before taking him into your mouth. His hands involuntarily move to your hair, tugging at it gently as you take him deeper. You can feel the warmth of his body against yours, and the pleasure of his reaction to your touch.
At the same time, you can feel the Tonowari behind you. His hands roam over your body, exploring every inch of you, as he thrusts himself deep into you. His hard thrusts pushing you to take the Jake deeper in your throat.
You feel them both now, their pleasure and desire. Jakes hips start to thrust, pushing himself further and further into your mouth, as the other man behind you starts to thrust into you, each stroke hitting you in just the right spot.
“Doing so well.” Tonowari growled
Neytiri laid on her stomach, watching the three of you in awe.
Jake was basically fucking your face now.
“Mm- Ng- I’m gonna- fuck, gonna cum.” Jake grunted, his pace never letting up
You feel him spill it down your throat, making you gag around him. He pulls out of your mouth, holding your face with his big hands.
“Did so good.” He mumbled “Why don’t you cum for Tonowari again? C’mon baby, milk him dry.” He whispered in your ear
You cry out, clinging onto Jake.
Your body is trembling with desire. Every thrust sends sparks of pleasure straight to your core. You can feel your orgasm rising up within you, and you can't stop it.
Your body is trembling as the orgasm takes hold. You can feel your muscles tighten around Tonowari’s thick cock as you cum.
Your breathing is heavy and your heart is pounding. You can feel the pleasure radiating through your body as you reach the peak of your orgasm.
The pleasure is intense and it lingers, even after Tonowari has pulled out. You can feel the afterglow radiating through your body, and you can't help but smile up at Jake, who was still praising you.
You feel someone grip your thighs but you couldn’t bring yourself to look back. Their fingers prod at your puffy clit, and you try not to whine at the stimulation. You feel their tongue lap at your abused little hole. Suddenly you feel another tongue down there. You snap your head back, finding Neytiri and Ronal there. You cry again, the overstimulation becoming far too much for you. Tonowari had come around to your front now, next to Jake, watching you cling on to him for dear life while tears fall from your eyes.
“Please- I can’t take anymore!” You cry to Jake, embracing him tightly as you tried to wiggle away from Ronal and Neytiri
“Mm, you were doing so good…” Tonowari tsked “Maybe if you promise to always be good we’ll give you a break, huh? How does that sound?”
“I pr-promise to always be good! Please!” You cry
Neytiri pulls away first “So sweet, paskalin.”
Ronal takes a second before she pulls away, paying extra attention to your puffy, sensitive clit. She pulls away eventually with a “pop”.
You collapse into Jakes arms, tears rolling down your cheeks.
“Oh, poor thing. Did we go too far?” Jake cooed, holding you against his broad chest as you were trying not to sob
Neytiri wipes her mouth before planting a kiss atop your head, telling you how good you did. Ronal places a hand on your back, her face neutral.
Jake and Tonowari lay back with you in between them, their size both engulfing you completely. Tonowari peppers sweet kisses on your neck while Jake wipes your tears away.
“You see what happens when you’re a bad girl?” Jake murmured, “Promise to be a good girl again.”
“I promise to be a good girl.” You hiccup
“So good.” Tonowari tells you
Neytiri lays behind Jake, propped up on his shoulder, her arm reached over and her hand gently caressed your hip. You could see where Ronal was, but you were sure she couldn’t have been very far.
Jake leaned in, placing a gentle kiss on your lips, something none of them had done all night.
“Rest now, we are not done with you.” Tonowari whispered

“What do you mean pregnant?” Jake questioned looking absolutely bewildered.
Next to you, Norm cleared his throat, “While we were doing our rounds here, Dr. Reeds discovered it. We ran some tests and turns out it’s true. Grace’s avatar is pregnant.”
Jake frowned, “I’m sorry, that still doesn’t explain how she got like this.”
You shrugged, not looking up from your tablet, “Well, apparently when two avatars love each other very much—”
“We don’t know.” Norm instead answered, sending you a glare, to which you ignored.
After your rather strange discovery, Norm got in touch with Jake and an hour later the rest of the scientists were cleared out of the room. And in replacement, three tall ass Na’vi crowded around Augustine’s avatar tank while you and Norm—still in human form—stood on the other side of the tank, staring straight at the glass while Jake, Neytiri, and Tsu’tey looked over it.
Their reactions were as expected. Jake confused. Neytiri wary yet curious. And Tsu’tey with his usual scowl—you were seriously beginning to think it was just the way his face was set—but with a hint of apprehension.
“She’s two months along or more, I’m honestly surprised we hadn’t noticed it until now.” Norm frowned, looking at the small stomach. The avatar wasn’t showing yet, perhaps because of how thin they all naturally were—but upon further inspection, the small two-month-old bump was quite noticeable.
“So, it just appeared? No explanation?” Jake questioned, also frowning down at the avatar. “How is that even possible?”
Again, you shrugged and finally looked up from your tablet. “Well, that depends,” Frankly, you didn’t want to be here. Being practically stuck in the same room with two people who both pissed you off and had you on guard constantly. Like they were going to attack you at any second—perhaps throw more baseless accusations your way. It would often leave you exhausted afterward. “What exactly was Dr. Augustine doing before her avatar ended up unresponsive? Any secret relationships? Did you ever find her sneaking out—possibly to meet someone in secret?”
 Jake was the one who responded, unfortunately. “We shared a station together for three months. She never left that place or met with anyone.”
Norm nodded in agreement while Neytiri placed her hand on the tank glass, “In her last moments we tried moving her spirit through Eywa and into her false body. But she was very weak…Could she have been with child then?”
“Had to be. She couldn’t have been pregnant after—after she passed.” Norm crossed his arms—almost like he was hugging himself.
Well, that wasn’t much to go on but you didn’t say it out loud since the very sight of this woman’s avatar—or at least talking about her clearly made the four of them react.
You had no personal connection to the late Dr. Grace Augustine, she was your role model of course but that was about it. You’ve never met her, therefore you were the only one with an unbiased perspective.
Their reactions were different but the same in some ways.
Norm hid it by pushing forward and moving the conversation along. Neytiri doesn’t hide her emotion when talking about Dr. Augustine. Her face was gentle and grief-stricken. You wondered if Neteyam, who was snuggly strapped to her chest, felt his mother’s strong emotions.
Jake wore a mask of sorts but you could still see the traits. Low ears, tail tucked behind his leg, avoidant gaze—it was then you realized how easy it was to read Na’vi’s expressions. You wondered if reading humans was difficult for them, except for Jake. Na’vi just had a more expressive face. Unless they were experienced at hiding it well.
Like Tsu’tey. The clan leader looked distant and was the quietest out of the four.
You supposed that Grace seemed to be the one thing that bonded the four. Especially Jake, Neytiri, and Tsu’tey. They had each other to lean on, you could tell by how unconsciously they neared each other.
But you and Norm? Maybe you could lean on each other but it wasn’t necessarily the same.
You lost your mother. Who could you lean on?
It must’ve been nice.
You knew you had been staring too long when Tsu’tey’s eyes locked with yours.
As subtly as you could, you looked away to tune in back to what Norm was saying, “So obvious questions aside, what should we do?”
“That’s not an obvious question?” You frowned, earning a jab in your side from him.
The three were quiet as they glanced at each other—or rather they were having a silent conversation with each other. You could tell by the way Jake raised his brows in question. Neytiri’s meaningful look. And Tsu’tey’s narrowed eyes.
You tucked the tablet under your arm and cleared your throat, drawing their attention to you, “While you guys decide who should take care of it, the avatar would have to stay here. The baby—if there is truly one in there—would have to be born here.”
Norm nodded in agreement, “Grace’s avatar will be under Dr. Reeds’ care since she is the one who identified the fetus—"
“No.” Tsu’tey instantly scowled.
“Told you,” Norm mumbled next to you.
You rolled your eyes, briefly locking eyes with Neytiri who watched the two of you with a small frown. There was a flash of something that floated passed her eyes, something you didn’t have time to make out right now.
“The Sky People know nothing about caring for a child of our people.” Tsu’tey scowled. “None of them do! I will not trust the child—or sa’nok’s body in the hands of—”
“—Demon. Yeah, you’ve made that clear.” You cut in calmly, earning a warning look from Norm and a vicious glare from the clan leader. You ignored both, “The facts don’t change. The body cannot be moved. The avatar is essentially dead—this tank is its life support, therefore the baby’s life support. So, if we keep the avatar and the baby here—"
“You do not get to decide this—”
Now you were irritated. You tried. You really did. “Then deal with a dead fucking baby for all I care—”
“Reeds.” Norm frowned.
“Tsu’tey!” Neytiri hissed, giving the man’s arm a slight shove.
The only person who appeared calm was Jake—which wasn’t surprising. He was looking at you, not with malice or accusation, but with contemplation. “If we keep the baby here…?”
You pressed your lips into a thin line and let out a short, agitated breath. “Since the avatar is basically dead, it can’t push the baby out the usual way when the time comes to it. We’d have to perform a C-section to get it out.” Tsu’tey opened his mouth to protest but you quickly beat him to it, “Once the baby is born, it’s yours. I nor the rest of us have an interest in keeping it here. It would be illogical. Are rations are terrible already—we don’t have the resources to take care of a baby. So you won’t have to worry about it being raised by demons.”
In the last part, you directed your pointed look toward Tsu’tey was still glaring at you. A part of you was smug, the fear and hesitation around him slowly going away.
You really didn’t care much for what he thought about you and you made sure he knew it. Of course, being this reckless with your mouth wasn’t the smartest idea and he probably didn’t appreciate it—but perhaps that was the best part about it.
He hissed something in Na’vi at you, which he knew you wouldn’t understand. The one thing he had over you. And with his own carefully crafted smugness, he knew this too. You rolled your eyes.
Neytiri snapped at him in response which seemed to surprise both Tsu’tey and Jake. You glanced toward Norm with a questioning look. He leaned toward your ear and mumbled, “Essentially, Neytiri’s okay with you watching over Grace’s avatar.” You both watched Tsu’tey reply with the same amount of ferocity. “And Tsu’tey’s pissed that she’s siding with you.”
You hummed but didn’t respond. Neytiri agreed with the plan, this also surprised you but you refused to allow the others to see that. Instead, you’d hold your chin high and bathe in your victory of having at least one of them agree with you for once.
It was nice that Neytiri was defending your idea. At least someone in this room was sane enough to.
Jake, who had been silent up to this point, suddenly cut into Neytiri and Tsu’tey’s argument, which caused the both of them to turn to him. He said something to them in a lowered voice and before you could ask Norm what he was saying, Neytiri and a begrudged Tsu’tey suddenly left the room.
You watched their retreating figures with quiet curiosity, until Jake spoke again in English, “Norm, can Reeds and I have the room?”
Now you were frowning. Hell, you were sure you looked like Tsu’tey then. Norm gave you a pleading look, one that said, ‘Just talk to him’.
And it took a lot. Every bit of strength to restrain yourself from snapping at Norm and telling him it was a bad idea to leave the both of you alone.
But instead, you ended up holding back a groan in your throat. You wouldn’t let him see you snap like that. You wouldn’t break your resolve so easily around him again.
 Eventually, you nodded stiffly, “Go ahead. We’ll be quick.”
After a nod and a pat on your shoulder, Norm left you and Jake alone.
The last time the two of you had been alone was when you set your mother’s lab on fire. You wondered if this was his chance to find fault in you again. To throw more accusations your way.
Jake watched you. And you watched him.
Stubbornly, you weren’t going to speak first. After all, he was the one who wanted to talk to you alone.
After another few seconds of you sizing each other up, he finally spoke, “Why the sudden interest in looking after Grace’s child, huh? What’s in it for you?”
You raised a brow, “Do you want some kind of sinister motive?”
He frowned at your very sardonic response, “No. Just the truth, if that isn’t too much.”
“The idea of truth seems subjective here.” You argued dryly. “No matter what I say, somehow I’m still made into this heartless demon you all have painted in your image. Don’t be surprised when I start acting like it at some point.” The latter was a dark joke of your own. But you failed to make that known to him.
Jake glared, leaning on the tank. The glass was impenetrable, it wouldn’t break under his weight. But it would leave unnecessary hand prints for someone to clean later. “Christ, can we just be straight with each other? You said yourself you had no interest in raising it. So why willingly volunteer to watch it?”
Despite your dislike for being alone with him—or him in general—you expected this question. It was an easy answer to which you had no problem responding to. Whatever it took to get this interaction done and over with as quickly as possible.
So, you gave a simple shrug, “The avatar got pregnant without having any intercourse. And I’ve checked. The development is impossible but remarkable. I want to study it closely, to learn how it happened and how it will continue to develop over time. Hell, we’re not even sure if this is an actual baby inside. Could be something else. We won’t know until it’s out.”
The answer didn’t seem to satisfy him. You could tell by the way his ears remained pinned at the side of his head, “So that’s what all of this is to you? A science project?”
“I’m a scientist.” You said plainly as if the answer was obvious. “Plus, it gives me something to do here. I have to make up the time I’ve lost.”
Jake frowned as if waiting for more. You did not offer more.
“And you think you are capable of doing it?” It was your turn to frown. That was a question you weren’t exactly prepared for. More or less that was the last thing you expected him to ask. “Are you really equipped to take on something like this? Especially now?”
You glared now, “Are you questioning my credentials?”
“No, I have no doubt that you’re good in your field—”
“Excellent. I am excellent in my field.”
“—Your actions are unpredictable—”
“Ah, so you’re questioning my stability.” Your skin boiled with barely hidden rage. You wouldn’t let him see you snap like that. You wouldn’t break your resolve so easily around him again. “Afraid I’ll blow up another lab?”
Jake scowled, “That’s not funny.”
“It wasn’t a joke.”
It was a standoff. The two of you. Jake’s gaze was intense and yours severe. His jaw tightened and he shook his head with a humorless snicker, “You're impossible.”
“And you have no right to question whether or not I am in stable condition for a job I am qualified for.” You snapped back, your resolve barely holding by a thread. “So, is this what you wanted to talk to me about? Is that why you wanted to see me alone so that you could ridicule me without eyes watching? Do you think you’re a better man for that, Sully? Why don’t you just be straight with me, like you wanted? Stop fucking beating around the bush!”
“Yeah?” He challenged with a mocking chuckle. “You want me to be straight with you? Fine. Tsu’tey doesn’t trust you with Grace’s avatar—”
You scoffed, “Clearly!”
“—and I don’t either.”
With a shrug, you placed your tablet down, “Frankly, Sully, I have no interest in earning your trust. I’m here to do my job. That’s all. A job I have no choice in doing since I am stuck here on your planet. Trust has nothing to do with it.”
He looked resigned, guarding his face once more. The silence was all too consuming.
Jake didn’t want this. He was supposed to be making peace with you. At least attempt to be cordial with one another.
But you were impossible. You were difficult.
You saw no point to this conversation. Never did from the beginning. Why he wanted to talk to you in private only to rehash what’s already been said. What’s already been known. You didn’t understand what he was trying to do here. There was nothing else they could possibly talk about past the subject of the mysterious fetus. You did not want to be here.
He was impossible. He was difficult.
Jake straightened his back—a small inkling in the back of your mind wondered if that was the Marine in him. Standing to attention, as if addressing someone with power well above him. Or his enemy. You really couldn’t tell with them. “So where does that leave us?”
“It’s really simple, actually.” You crossed your arms. “The body can’t be moved. The avatar stays here. And so does the growing fetus. You clearly want it so it will be all yours when it’s born. Far away from my destructive hands. Does that work for you?”
After a long—unnecessary bout of silence—Jake finally pushed away from the tank, “Norm will be with you?”
You glared and clenched your jaw, “If that will get you to leave quicker, then yes.”
His tail lashed behind him, “Fine. Do what you want.”
Finally, he left. And you were alone.
After a moment of silence. After a moment of gathering yourself with a bit of pride left , you moved closer toward Dr. Augustine’s tank and frowned down at the growing stomach, “Good luck, kid. If you’re not careful, he just might end up as your father.”
Tumblr media
The following days continued as usual, except after you were done with your garden, you headed over to the tank room to check on the fetus. You did things like making sure it’s kept healthy and or safely growing in the womb. Surprisingly, it was just as peaceful as tending to your garden. Sometimes a few scientists would pop in every now and then to check on other tanks, but most times it was just you and Dr. Augustine’s avatar. And it wasn’t entirely so bad being in almost total silence for the first time in a while.
Neytiri would come to the gardens whenever she could. Either keeping you company while giving advice and directions about how to better your crops. Or gently scolding you about how loud you continue to be while trekking through the forest.
Today, you were doing the latter. It was something different, a little change in your usual routine. You now carried your tablet in a bag in case any alert from Dr. Augustine’s avatar notified you as you followed Neytiri through the forest. Mimicking her every movement like you had done last time.
“You move with the forest. You listen. You see.” Neytiri jumped over a branch as you finally finished the climb up the tree the both of you were on. A part of you was envious of her ability to climb with ease while your cheeks only flushed with both being out of breath and embarrassed as she watched you try and fail to climb this godforsaken tree.
“Okay,” You nodded as you settled on the branch with her. It was uncomfortable, especially squatting the way she was. “What exactly am I supposed to be seeing?”
Neytiri frowned, “I cannot make you see. Only you can.”
You looked down at your now bare feet, not really sure how to respond to that or what it really meant. And you had a feeling that if you asked again, she’d probably scold you for it and further confuse you. So instead you looked up at some of the leaves above you. You raised your hand and let your fingers gently graze it, so very gently as if it would crumble beneath your touch.
The forest was overwhelmingly beautiful. Every day it was like you were looking at it for the first time. The healthy trees and plants. The wildlife that you avoided but watched from afar. Hearing the quiet streams of water running about in whichever direction you turned.
Somedays it reminded you of what you lost back on Earth. What the world had done to it. And how many, many years ago it had once looked as beautiful as this.
On other days, you appreciated the forest. For its food, for its beauty. Sometimes you liked the idea of calling this place your new home even though you weren’t quite sure what the exact word ‘home’ meant to you right now.
While caught up in your misty thoughts, you missed the way Neytiri watched you quietly. How she noticed your hidden wonder. The way your lips almost curve up until it’s back in that firm straight line again. Or how your face became gentle even for the slightest second before it’s gone as quickly as it had come. Like you were consciously keeping yourself from being content.
It was intriguing, watching how Sky People worked. Though of course, Neytiri would never admit this out loud.
But most of all, it was intriguing—almost alluring—watching how you worked.
Eventually, she caught sight of your mother’s songcord still wrapped around your wrist with a small frown.
Your slow methodic thoughts were soon interrupted when Neytiri grasped the wrist with your mother’s songcord around it. Instantly you tensed as she brought your wrist closer for her to see. But once you realize she made no sudden moves to take the cord from you, you relax. Only slightly.
She thumbed one of the beads, “When you die, your family sings your songcord to remember your life. And then it is given back to you.” Neytiri looked at you then, curiously. “You do not know your mother’s songcord.”
It wasn’t a question but more a knowing statement. Carefully, you took your wrist back from hers and held it close to your chest, “Obviously, I didn’t get much of a chance to.”
She nodded but didn’t push on the subject. Instead, she stood up on the branch just as something shuffled below the both of you.
Neytiri grabbed your arm and pulled you to your feet, “Come, come!”
Shed led you through the trees. It was especially difficult to keep up going from branch to branch and copying her movements to the best of your ability. At some points, you nearly slipped only to be quickly caught by Neytiri and forced to keep going. You both admired and envied her ease in prowess.
At some point, you both landed in a tree that gave you both a good view of the forest floor. There, was a creature slinking around the thick bushes. Neytiri crouched on the branch to watch the creature just as another came out into the light.
“Nantang.” She pointed at the creature below. “You Sky People call them viperwolf.”
“Nantung.” You repeated slowly, crouching down next to her.
“Nantang.” She corrected.
“Nantang.”
With a small nod, she gave your forehead a little shove with an open palm hand, “You are not good with our language.”
But she didn’t seem annoyed when she said this. Instead, she looked rather amused with the way her ears were raised high and her tail swinging behind her.
Below you, the viperwolves began moving away from the trees and further within the bushes. You watched them curiously, moving Neytiri’s hand from your forehead, “Are they dangerous? The—Nantang?”
“Most are.” Neytiri frowned, dropping her hand to her side. She then stood. “We leave them be. We do not kill unless—unless we have no choice.”
“Hmm, so no hunting them then?” You watched her thoughtfully. “So are you guys vegetarians?” She stared at you blankly. You pressed your lips into a thin line and reconsidered your words, “Do you not eat any meat?”
Understanding crossed her features as she nodded, “We do. Just not them.”
You nodded, crossing your legs together on the branch you were sitting on as you thought about this. After another pause, you took out your tablet from your bag to take down some notes—only for Neytiri to smack your arm and scowl, “No. None of that! We move.”
“Alright, alright.” You sighed, placing your tablet back into your bag. “But if I slip again, just let me fall. I deserve it for being so unathletic.”
Neytiri rolled her eyes and pushed forward. Reluctantly, you followed her.
Tumblr media
At some point, you stopped wearing shoes in your avatar body.
Tumblr media
After unlinking for the day, you headed over toward the tank room, only to find a certain Na’vi already there talking to Norm. Both noticed you and stopped whatever conversation they had upon seeing you enter.
“Ah, Reeds!” Norm cleared his throat as you approached Dr. Augustine’s avatar. “We were just finishing up here. We’ll be out of your way soon.”
You shrugged, tucking your tablet under your arm as you studied the controls of the avatar’s tank. “It’s not like you’re not allowed in this room. All I do is make sure the baby is healthy and leave. Doesn’t really take that long.” Eventually, you allowed yourself to acknowledge the Na’vi curtly. “Sully.”
“Dr. Reeds.” Jake nodded back with a tight, awkward smile.
“There haven’t been any big updates if that’s what you’re here for.” You said while staring at the avatar. It twitched every now and then as usual.
“We were just catching up.” Norm explained with a faint smile sent your way. “How’s the garden holding up?”
You shrugged, keeping your focus glued to your work, “Everything’s growing just fine. In a few weeks, we might be ready for harvesting. It’s actually fascinating how fast everything’s growing.” If you were in your avatar body, your tail would be wiggling from side to side at this revelation despite your monotone voice. “Neytiri’s been a big help too—the Na’vi way is a lot more effective compared to human techniques and efficiency. I’m actually starting to wonder what else I could learn from her…”’
It wasn’t intentional, but you were really beginning to become intrigued by the Na’vi and their culture. If you were going to be on Pandora—for what seemed like a long time—then you’d have to get accustomed to their ways at some point. Especially, when you didn’t have any particular interest in causing problems with them by doing everything wrong and very human-like. Attempting to do it their way was the only way to go and the easiest path so far.
Norm was grinning at you and you frowned, “What?”
“Nothing. I’ll leave you to it.” He then turned to Jake. “You stayin’ longer?”
Right, you had forgotten about him for a second. Briefly, with little interest, you glanced toward Jake who gave a short nod, “Yeah, I’ll stay for a little bit.” He then met your gaze, matching your guarded expression. “If that’s not a problem”
Norm watched the two of you, noticing the tension.
You stiffened. What the hell was this guy’s problem? Did he enjoy fighting with you, what was it? There was nothing stopping him from waiting until you were done so that he could have the room alone. But for some reason, he thought staying with you there was a good idea.
He must’ve been some kind of masochist. Yeah, had to be.
That, or he was keeping a close eye on you. After all, he did say that he didn’t trust you. Wouldn’t be a totally impossible thought.
So instead, you answered his question with one of your own, “Is it a problem for you?”
His tail swished behind him, “No. Not at all.”
He watched you. And you watched him.
You sniffed and returned your focus back on the avatar, “S’like I said. I won’t be long.”
Cautiously, Norm spoke, “I’ll leave the both of you to it then, yeah?” He walked passed to you, not before mumbling, “Play nice,” and he departed, leaving just you and Jake in the tank room.
The room was deathly quiet as you worked. You figured since Jake was going to be here watching over your every move, you’d ignore him and just do the work. Quick enough for you to leave and be out of his presence. That was all that mattered at the moment.
There was just nothing more to talk about with him. Besides the fetus, you couldn’t fathom what else there was to be discussed.
So far, you were actually doing a good job pretending he wasn’t there. Sure, he was a ten-foot-tall alien that practically towered over you and made you freeze every time something in the corner of your eye moved—it was him every time—the work in front of you was distracting enough. And so was observing the mysteriously pregnant and obviously brain-dead avatar.
It was weird, no, fascinating. How an avatar would end up pregnant without the user actively using it was beyond you. It was like one of those unsolved patient stories or records back on Earth. Only this time you didn’t have to worry much about necrophilia. At least you hoped you didn’t. You put that in your notes.
“I’m sorry about your mother.”
Despite your stubbornness, you froze. Unsure if what you heard was real or perhaps that you imagined it. A part of you hoped you imagined it. A part of you hoped that you had just gone crazy. Yes, that should’ve explained it. Some childish part of you just wanted someone to pity you for once. To say these words to you. And so you imagined them to cope. You imagined someone would for once see you passed the Dr. Reeds. Human. Demon.
It was only your imagination—
“And I’m sorry for how I acted before.” Jake continued on the other side of the tank. Your grip on your tablet tightened as you listened to him. He paused for a long moment as if carefully considering his words. “You’re in a difficult position and I didn’t make it easy on you. That’s on me.”
So much for ignoring him.
You forced yourself to look up at him, a frown on your lips, “What do you hope to gain from this? Why apologize now?”
He winced but didn’t back down. His resolve was much more brazen unlike yours which was still barely hanging on by a thread. Unlike you, he wasn’t exhausted keeping it up all the time. “A truce. Especially, since I will be visiting often.”
Now you were more annoyed than confused, “Why do you need to keep visiting? I already said there haven’t been any updates. Plus, Norm would be telling you whether or not you’re needed here—”
Jake shrugged, ears twitching, “Well if I’m hoping to be her father, I gotta see her progress for myself, don’t I?”
You stopped and watched him both warily and—maybe intrigued by this new piece of information. It wasn’t shocking, really. You kind of figured he would end up taking responsibility for this child. And you had no doubt Neytiri and—possibly Tsu’tey agreed to this considering how much all three of them seemed to care for Dr. Augustine. It wasn’t at all surprising that they decided to raise the child as if it were their own.
“And you’re willing to endure interactions with me for this child?” You chuckled humorlessly. “How brave of you.”
But Jake shook his head, “No, it’s not just about the baby. We have to work together on this. All this hostility—it has to end right here right now. We don’t have to like each other—but I will admit I wasn’t fair to you and I let the situation—your whole arrival get to me. A rookie mistake on my part. I thought—I was protecting my clan.”
For a moment you really considered him. Considered his words. Considered all of him. All of what you knew of Jake Sully so far.
And then you remember Norm’s words to you all those nights ago. When you were going to meet the Tsahik. You remember him saying that they were scared when you had arrived and you remembered understanding that. In the midst of your anger, you understood why they acted the way they did. Still to this day, a part of you knew they were justified in their hatred for the Sky People. Hell, you faced DeVoe and developed a certain dislike toward those people as well.
But it was still your anger. You would not take the blame for something that was out of your control. Something you had no part in. You would not apologize for being put in unfortunate circumstances.
Surprisingly, Jake seemed to read your mind as he said, “I’m not asking anything from you in return. Just a truce and an apology. You deserve that, at least.”
You pressed your lips into a thin line, clutching your tablet close to your chest, avoiding his gaze, his expectant look that waited for you to respond. Right now you really wished you were in your avatar body because you hated him looking down at you. You hated being small around him.
But your steeled spine made up for it at least. “We don’t have to like each other.”
Jake nodded, “We don’t.”
You sniffed, “Good. Because I don’t particularly like you still.”
“Yeah,” He sighed, massaging his face. “Sometimes I don’t either.”

Neytiri didn’t come the next day. Which wasn’t out of the ordinary. Some days she just didn’t come. She had a baby and a clan to worry about after all. You couldn’t exactly expect her to put all of that on hold for you and your little garden.
Plus, there wasn’t much to check in the garden anyway today. All you had to do was water it and make sure the sun was shining on the correct plants. So, you spent most of your time foraging in the forest—making less noise like Neytiri showed you—gathering new fruits and mushrooms to plant once your other ones were finished growing. Of course, you’ll already have the seeds from the newly grown plants but it was nice to have a few extras just in case.
When you finished your foraging and stored all the fruits and mushrooms in a safe place, you unlinked from your avatar and went to the tank room. Technically, you weren’t really required to check it every day once you got a better understanding of the tank. It was specifically created to hold a growing avatar, sure, but you didn’t know if that stretched to a pregnant avatar or not. So checking on it every day was an extra precaution.
You weren’t exactly well informed about how the whole avatar creation or technology worked. All you knew was the information that was given to you through your mother’s diary videos. Even then she really didn’t go into too much detail about it as she kept jumping from one point to another with haste and excitement.
So, during your visits to the tank room, you took notes. By now you are almost halfway through your journal the more you write. And it wasn’t even organized, just a bunch of random notes and thoughts on a piece of paper. With writing that looked like chicken scratch.
When you had nothing more to write or look at on the tablet, you examined what would be Dr. Augustine’s face on the avatar.
Norm came in at some point and you asked him, “What was she like? Dr. Augustine.”
He’d smile fondly at the avatar, his eyes glazed over in memory, “A brilliant woman who cared a lot for the Na’vi. You know she had a school? It’s what made her fall in love with it all. The children loved her.”
You raised your brows curiously when he said that, “You mention you’re around children for most of your day. Are you running her school now or something?”
“No.” He laughed as if the thought were impossible. “No, I just help out with the Omatikaya children whenever I can. Sure, I do teach them English but not on the level Grace did it. Not even close.” His eyes twinkled when he looked at you. “I think she would’ve liked you.”
You didn’t say anything to that. Instead, you offered, “Don’t sell yourself short, Spellman.”
“Same to you, Reeds.”
A few days went by and it was time to harvest your garden.
Neytiri came with Neteyam strapped to her chest. He was wide awake, staring around wide-eyed and curious as usual. Your chest felt just a bit lighter watching him, his innocence so very infectious. You had never been around many babies—no younger siblings and all. It was always you and your mother. And many other scientists. Come to think of it, you weren’t really surrounded by many children your age. If any at all.
You filled the second basket up with more fruits from your garden before glancing toward Neytiri who was picking the mushrooms and collecting them in her arms.
“How are they?” You called.
Neytiri looked back at you and nodded, “Very healthy. Enough to feed an entire village.”
You walked over to her and hummed, tail swinging slightly. “You think it’s too much?”
She shook her head and smiled contently, “No, you did really well with them. Do you plan to make more once you’ve harvested?”
“That’s the hope.” You nodded, crossing your arms. Neteyam’s large yellow eyes looked at you quietly as you moved around her to get a better look at the mushrooms. “Maybe I’ll dial it back with the next one. Technically, I didn’t plant these, all we did was save it from dying. Imagine if we let them die, all of this. What a waste it would’ve been.”
“I’ll help whenever you do,” Neytiri assured, which surprised you. She then grabbed your wrist. “Come. We should put this all away. We’ll travel through the trees again today.”
Intrigued by this, you nodded. After you brought all the freshly picked fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms to the scientists to put away, you followed Neytiri into the forest.
It was the same as last time. Both you and Neytiri quietly moved through the trees—it was a struggle still to climb again but thankfully Neytiri didn’t notice. Or if she did, she didn’t say anything. Just correct your body whenever you are doing something wrong. Whenever she did correct you though, it made the climb a little easier as you went.
You ran into one of those viperwolves but were able to get past them without any problems—again, thanks to Neytiri. But you did eventually end up running into a couple more creatures that seemed to be less dangerous.
One of them being those horse-like creatures.
“Pa’li,” Neytiri had called these creatures while petting one of them.
You watched them in awe and interest as she mounted it. She took her braid—queue—and placed it near the pa’li’s antenna. Your eyes widened when the tendrils between the queue and the antenna connected. Once it did, the creature calmed underneath Neytiri. Becoming familiar with her, as if they had known each other for a while. And maybe they did.
Neytiri smiled down at it, “We bond with them just as we bond with the rest of the life here. It is our way.”
A few other pa’li galloped toward you. One nudged past you but was quite skittish about it. At first, you didn’t approach it right away. Instead, you tried to remember how Neytiri did it. Slow in approach, which actually worked. The pa’li watched you, both warily and intrigued.
When you were close enough, you grabbed your queue and placed it near the antenna. Awed, you watched the tendrils slowly connect. A sudden unfamiliar feeling hit your body when your queue connected with the pa’li. The sensations were strange but you felt another emotion that wasn’t your own. The pa’li.
Scared but curious about you. Hesitant to get near you but also feeling the bond beginning through your queue. It was all so strange and unlike anything you’ve ever felt before.
A sudden shudder hit your spine just as the pa’li screeched and ran off, breaking the connection.
You grunted while Neytiri laughed, “Maybe next time, tanhi.”
There was a small pout on your lips, a quiet part of you missing the strange and new connection, “Guess I’m just not an animal person.”
“You will try again soon.” She assured as she slid off her pa’li with Neteyam babbling against her chest. “But it will not be today. I must leave for a hunt soon. Another day, perhaps, I will teach you.”
You were surprised at this, “Really? Teaching a Sky Person, huh? Does that mess with you morally or…?”
Neytiri frowned, “Teaching you will help you survive. Not me.” She patted the snout of the pa’li before watching it gallop away with his group. “It is not the first time I have taught a Sky Person our way.”
It took you a moment to realize what she meant, “You taught Sully, didn’t you?”
She did not answer this of course, but you had a feeling you already knew it without her having to say it. “Do you want to learn or not?”
Your tail swished, Neytiri noticed. “I’d like that. Besides, you’re a pretty good teacher as far as I can tell. I don’t think I’d want anyone else.” There was probably no one else who would even offer to teach you like Neytiri did. So, this was the kind of offer you couldn’t refuse.
Neytiri nodded, the beginnings of a smile reaching her lips. For a moment you admired her smile.
And then the next you envied it.

Jake was in the tank room on another day. You entered as usual in human form. A week had passed since your agreed-upon ‘truce’ and you were slowly growing accustomed to his presence the best way you could. Most days, he wasn’t always there. Those were the days when you were relieved and felt like you could relax a bit.
But on the days he was there, you took to ignoring him like you originally planned. And thankfully, he didn’t seem bothered by that. Sometimes he’d ask questions here and there about the fetus, but other than that, the two of you were in your own little worlds.
And you were fine with this. Perhaps Jake had the right idea about this little truce. It certainly made things easier. You were still tense around him of course—mostly because you felt like he was watching you whenever he thought you weren’t looking—but it was manageable.
Upon observing the avatar, you noticed the belly bump becoming just a little more visible as time went by—which wasn’t much time at all. You began to wonder about the differences between Na’vi pregnancy to human pregnancy.
Currently, you are going through past video logs of Grace Augustine to get some idea of how her avatar came to be pregnant.
Once more you were reminded that you weren’t alone as Jake spoke from the other side of the room, “Any theories?”
You glanced over your shoulder to see that he was watching you work with an intense look—or maybe his face was naturally like that.
A beat went by before you considered responding to his question, “Besides divine intervention? No, not really.” You turned back to the logs and made a face when Norm started showing up more in her videos. You turned back to Jake who was still watching you, “Norm and Grace didn’t—”
“No, no, they didn’t.” Jake quickly said, looking just as uncomfortable as you felt asking. “God, at least I hope they didn’t—I wasn’t always around them when linked up—he was always with Trudy actually—you know what, I rather not think about it.”
You hummed, “It was worth a shot asking.” After shutting and placing your tablet down on the table you sat at, you sunk further into your chair as you began mumbling to yourself. “Looks like I might as well have to stick with your Eywa impregnating her. Virgin Mary and all.”
“Right.”
Another silence settled between you two. You wrote down in your notes while absentmindedly listening to Jake’s quiet breaths further behind you, too acutely aware of his presence.
“About what I said about not trusting you…” Jake started and you refrained from rolling your eyes at the interruption of your note-taking and thoughts. “I’m not here to monitor you or anything and I didn’t mean—”
“Sure you did.” You say simply, glancing back at him with an impassive expression. “No point in going back on it now.”
“I was reckless with my words—”
“Reckless words have some truth to them.” You shrugged and turned back to your notes. “If it helps, I don’t trust you either, Sully.”
“Neytiri does.” That made you pause. That made you look back at him in both defense and confusion, trying to figure out just what he was trying to get at here. Jake wore a look of contemplation as if he were trying to figure something out himself, “She was the first one to agree to you watching over Grace’s kid. She fought Tsu’tey on it when usually she’d be on his side whenever it came to humans. That means something to me.”
You considered his words. Truth be told, you didn’t know why Neytiri agreed to it. Frankly, it was going to happen either way—but having Neytiri unexpectedtly on board with the plan wasn’t something any of you saw coming. You still didn’t necessarily know how to feel about that yet.
But it seemed Jake did.
Instead of addressing it, you clicked your pen close, “I’ll send updates through Norm if anything changes. Maybe through Neytiri too whenever she makes her rounds over here.”
After a pause, Jake nodded, “Copy that.” Surprisingly—and quite relieving—he began to take his leave. Which meant that the conversation was now done, thankfully. Before he left the room, he turned back to you with a twitch of his tail, “And thank you, Doc.”
 “Just doing my job, Sully.” You shrugged, closing your notebook. “It’s about time, right?”
Tumblr media
It meant something. It had to. Even if he wasn’t sure if he believed in all this Eywa stuff, he believed in Neytiri. He respected Mo’at.
They saw something in you that he clearly could not see just yet. Perhaps it was now time he had to open his eyes.
Perhaps it was time for Jake to finally see.

Tsu'tey x Reader (younger sister of Jake Sully, dreamwalker) Enemies to Lovers
Contains: hunting, secrets, return home, and a party

Anything written in italics is spoken in Na'vi
Tsu’tey moves silently through the bushes, his weapons dangling around him. I glide behind him, my feet stepping into his footprints. We’ve been tracking the beast for the entire day. Tsu’tey’s jaw is clenched and his eyes are focused. We are right on it's trail.
There have been no signs of the Na’vi who attacked Tsu’tey but I keep my eyes open, prepared for anything. Tsu’tey crouches further to the ground as an animal chitters above us. I follow his lead, unable to see anything except his braids as he peers through some underbush.
He lifts his hand, his long blue fingers pointing upwards, telling me to stop. I halt instantly, my heart rate rising. Tsu’tey’s ears flicker against the side of his head as he listens. I strain my ears, trying to hear whatever it is he hears.
After a moment, he closes his hand and beckons me to keep moving. I follow after him, my back aching. The only time we’ve spoken is when we made our plan for killing the beast. After that, we fell into a rhythm of silently working together, knowing what the other person meant without them saying a word. It’s much better than our usual arguing.
Tsu’tey leans back and puts something in his loincloth. His eyes meet mine and he gives me a curt nod that means, we’re close. I nod in response.
A crack sounds through the forest. I freeze as Tsu’tey reaches his hand in front of him, telling me to stay calm. Sweat gathers between my knees as a strong burst of air filters through the treetops above us. It smells of raw meat and decay. The beast.
My eyes widen. Tsu’tey’s face goes flat, his lips in a straight line and his hands clasp around his bow. He creeps forward, not making a single sound. He pulls a string of leaves to the side. There, the beast stands in the middle of the clearing. His horns curled around his huge, unnatural head.
My breath catches in my throat. Tsu’tey whips his head around. He cocks his head to the side, are you okay? His eyes ask. I nod, forcing my nerves down. Tsu’tey watches a moment longer, contemplating the nervous look on my face before lifting his three fingers up. It’s our signal. It's time to go.
Tsu’tey breaks through the trees as one of his arrows goes sizzling through the air. The beast rears back in surprise. I climb up a nearby tree, my fingers digging into the bark as I cock my arrow into place. Tsu’tey springs out of the bush, distracting the beast as I shoot an arrow down. It slams right into the beast’s side.
The beast roars an ugly, almost mechanical sound. Even the tree I’ve climbed seems to go still at the sound. I load another arrow and shoot again, this time ramming into the beast on the other side. It roars again, sending leaves down from a nearby tree.
Tsu’tey doesn’t hesitate to jump onto the beast’s back. He grasps its horns and clamps his legs around its throat. He looks up at me, his eyes viscous. I grab the long knife from beside me and throw it to him, angling the blade so it lands perfectly in Tsu’tey’s hands.
Tsu’tey catches it even as the beast thrashes beneath him. He rears back and slams the dagger into the beast's heart. I suck in a breath as Tsu’tey jumps off and takes a few steps back. The beast roars, stumbles, blows out a nasty breath, makes a strange gurgling sound, and then collapses on its side. The beast shudders and goes still.
Tsu’tey doesn’t move as he observes the now dead beast. I climb down slowly, not fully believing our success. I drop my weapon and move closer to Tsu’tey. He begins to inch towards the beast.  I hold my breath until Tsu’tey turns around, a huge grin plastered on his face. A real smile, that spreads across his face and lights his eyes. “It’s dead!” He yells.
“Hell yea!” I holler and pump my fist in the air. “We did it!”
Tsu’tey turns back and whoops excitedly. I instinctively offer my hand like a high-five. He instantly grabs it, his fingers wrapping around mine like a handshake. He gives me a firm squeeze.
I squeeze back, feeling the callouses of hands.
“Not bad,” Tsu’tey says before pulling back. “Now, let’s go home.”
Home. I smile at the thought as Tsu’tey walks over and cuts off the beast's horns.
~~~
I wake in my human body feeling weak and hungry. I push open the machine that links me to my Avatar. It takes a moment to fully adjust. It’s dark out but I can still make out the sharp outline of the Floating Mountains. I groan as I stand, my back cracking.
Grace and Jake’s voice float into the room, followed by a clatter of utensils. I sniff the air. It smells like burnt bread…
“Oh shit!” Grace yells from the other room. I chuckle to myself and head towards them. My legs feel weak and foreign. I miss my Avatar body the second I’m not in it. It’s starting to feel like my human body is the fake one.
There’s a banging sound like Grace just plopped the bread down. I can’t wait to tell them about slaying the beast. Jake laughs but it sounds different, almost strained. Nerves bubble in my stomach.
“You have to do something,” Grace says, her voice serious.
I freeze at the entrance to the room and push myself against the wall so they don’t see me.
Jake hangs his head in his hands, his wheelchair pushed all the way against the table. He sighs. “I don’t know what to do.”
Grace pulls out a chair with a loud scraping sound and sits beside him. “You have to tell Neytiri and soon.”
Tell Neytiri what? My hands flutter nervously at my side.
Jake scoffs. “No way. She’ll never forgive me. And my sister…”
My blood runs cold.
“You should’ve told your sister a long time ago.”
I step out from behind the entrance before I even have time to process a thought. I cross my arms as Jake’s face goes from shocked to nervous. “Tell me what?”
Grace lifts her eyebrows. She glances at Jake. “Well,” she heaves a sigh and stands from her chair, “at least you can check one of those boxes now.” She leaves, walking off to her own link station.
“Tell me what, Jake?” My voice is rough, almost panicked. My nerves are growing by the second. Things are starting to go well for me. We just killed the beast. We’re going back to Hometree. I could be one of them. I just pray it isn’t all about to come crashing down. Jake doesn’t respond, he just runs his hands across the armrest on his wheelchair. “Jake.”
He blows out a rough breath. “Okay, look,” he begins nervously, “do you know why we moved up to the Floating Mountains?”
What is he getting at? I nod, clearly irritated. “Yea. Your dumbass was hanging around Quaritch.”
“Do you know what we had talked about?”
I pause, unsure of where this is going and suddenly not sure that I want to know.
Jake exhales slowly. “He wanted me to get the trust of the Omatikaya so I could negotiate terms of their relocation.”
Relocation? I swallow the bile that rises in my throat. I dread the answer but I have to ask, “What do you mean by relocation?”
Jake runs a nervous hand through his hair before meeting my eyes. His face is full of pain. “It was before I knew. Before I saw how amazing the people are and before Neytiri…”
My heart starts pounding in my chest. Jake is always straight forward. Whatever this is– it’s bad. “Jake,” I say harshly, “out with it.”
“Promise you won’t do anything rash,” he says.
“Fine.”
“They’re gonna destroy Hometree.”
The air in my lungs is sucked out. I reach my hand out to steady myself as a wave of nauseous rolls over me. My ears are suddenly ringing. He can’t be serious. There are thousands who live in Hometree. It’s their home. It’s everything. I shake my head, unable to process this.
Jake wheels himself closer, his face peering up at me. “We still have time.”
I suck in a breath, trying to calm myself. Nothing feels real.
“Y/n,” Jake mummers, “please, try and listen.”
“What do you mean by time?” I ask, my voice raw.
Jake sighs. “We have time to gain their trust and convince them to leave.”
It feels like I’ve been kicked in the gut. My hands cradle my stomach as I let out a small moan. Tsu’tey’s trust? I’ve just barely gotten it, just silver. When he finds out… Any hope for friendship will be out the door. It will have been for nothing. “We have to stop them,” I say flatly.
Jake shakes his head, his eyes sad. “We can’t. All we can do is warn them when the time is right.” He pauses as he observes my face. “Will you help me, sister?”
I press my fingers to my eyes, fighting back tears. I wait a moment before nodding. “I’ll help you,” I whisper defeatedly, “what other choice do I have?”
~~~
Linking with my Avatar again felt like coming home. I opened my eyes to the streaming morning light. Tsu’tey had already packed the direhorses, the beast's horns curled from around the sides. There was something more relaxed about his demeanor; he’s happy to have killed the beast. Happy to be going home.
His relaxed stance hasn’t gone away as we journey back to Hometree. I try not to think about what Jake told me. I try, with every ounce of willpower, to force it out of my mind. But it still plagues me. Making me feel numb.
I don’t think Tsu’tey has noticed because we’ve hardly spoken any words to each other. We just move in silent agreement, a team that doesn’t need to write a plan; we just know.
We’ve been going for hours and my legs are going numb. “How much further?” I ask, breaking the long silence.
Tsu’tey slows his pace and looks back at me, flicking his braided hair over his shoulder. A small smile grows across his face. “Very soon.”
I raise an eyebrow at the rare smile on his face. He breaks through a line of dense trees, the leaves brush against his calves. My vision is blurred by the greenery for a moment before coming into full focus. An entire crowd of Omatikaya stand before us.
I gasp. Hometree looms right before me, looking mightier than ever. There’s no way Quaritch could destroy it. I force the thought away as Neytiri runs up to me, a brilliant smile across her face. “Welcome!”
I can’t help the grin that makes its way onto my face. All of the people have gathered outside Hometree. They're all cheering, whooping, and pumping their hands in the air. All of them are full of so much pride that it warms my heart.
“Is the beast dead?” The Olo’eyktan, Eytukan, calls above the cries. The crowd goes quiet as he makes his way through in his feathered chest piece. Neytiri  backs away, joining Jake in the crowd. He gives me a goofy thumbs up but I look quickly away, not wanting to acknowledge him, not wanting him to think that I’m okay with this.
Tsu’tey dismounts and walks closer to the crowd as he holds his pack, the beast’s horns jutting out. I copy him, immediately hopping off my steed and falling into step beside him. Once, Eyutkan is right in front of us, we bow our heads in respect.
“The People want to know,” Eyutkan says, his face stern but his eyes proud, “is the beast dead?”
Tsu’tey grins. His smile sends chills down my spine, it’s lethal and charming at the same time. He reaches down and yanks the horns of his pack. “The beast has been slayed!”
The entire village erupts into roars of delight. Smiling faces as people hug and praise Tsu’tey the warrior. Then, I hear my own name. They are praising both of us. A small blush creeps onto my cheeks as various clan members look right at me and smile proudly.
“We will have a celebration! Tonight!” Eyuktan yells again before turning and facing the crowd. “A feast in honor of Tsu’tey and Y/n.”
The clan bursts into an array of activity: conversations and giddy excitement, as some run into Hometree and other’s grab hunting gear and head for the forest. A feast in my honor. Neytiri and Jake join us as Eyutkan pats Tsu’tey on the back. Tsu’tey’s eyes brighten at the gesture.
Neytiri grabs my hand and squeezes. Jake smiles at me and I feel my blood run cold like I’m suddenly back in the Floating Mountains, talking to him about Hometree. I feel sick. I don’t deserve this feast. If only they knew…
Neytiri’s face flickers with concern but before she can say anything, Eyuktan asks, “did you have any hardship along the way?”
Tsu’tey tenses beside me. I remember the cut along his chest, the poison seeping into his blood, and how I saved him. He remains silent beside me, waiting for me to speak. I clear my throat. “No, Tsu’tey and I worked well together.” Tsu’tey’s head whips towards me, his eyes light with surprise. I pretend not to notice and continue on, “all went well.”
Eyuktan nods as he pats me on the back. Pride swells in me. Neytiri’s eyes flutter between Jake and me. She looks at her father. “They are ready.”
Eyuktan grunts in agreement. “Tomorrow, take them to the ikran.”
My mouth drops open as excitement pools in my stomach. I look at Neytiri to find her smiling at Jake. I raise an eyebrow. Interesting…
Tomorrow, I’ll get to choose an ikran. I can’t contain my excitement to do something I’ve only ever read about. Tsu’tey catches my eyes and gives me a curt nod. My stomach flutters. He’s proud of me too.
~~~
There is a large fire in the center of Hometree and the clan dance and eat all around it. Loud drums pierce the air as people talk and laugh. The celebration is in full swing. I’ve managed to forget about all my worries and just enjoy this moment.
Earlier in the night, Tsu’tey brought me a plate of my favorite berries to which we shared a knowing look. Neytiri had cocked her head to the side in curiosity but said nothing else. Tsu’tey then tipped his head and stalked off, presumably to enjoy the party on his own. I haven’t seen him since and I pretend that I’m not slightly upset by that.
Besides, I’ve been too busy dancing. Neytiri and I danced and danced. My feet are practically burning. All around me, the clan moves their bodies to the rhythm of the drums, it’s magnetic and alive. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. Then Jake comes and sweeps Neytiri off into a dance off their own. With my aching feet and tired muscles, I begin to push my way off the dance floor when a male blocks my view.
“Congratulations,” he says. It’s a man I’ve never seen before. He’s tall, broad shoulders, and his hips are wider than Tsu’tey’s. Not that, I’m thinking of Tsu’tey… I shake my head feeling suddenly fuzzy from the party. The man tilts his head. “I’m Kiezan, I don’t think we’ve met.”
I swallow, forcing myself to get a grip. His eyes are wide and amber. His hair is loose and tied behind his head with a single braid. He’s handsome. I smile at him. “I’m y/n.”
He smiles back at me. “Pretty name,” he reaches his hand out, “do you want to dance?”
I take his hand without thinking, allowing myself to get swept away once again in the enthrallment of the party. He is a good dancer and he leads me through the crowd with ease. The drums pound loudly and we sway our bodies, matching the rhythm, the heat of his body melting into mine.
I catch Neytiri’s eyes from across the floor. She nudges her head as if to say, oooo. I roll my eyes and shrug. It’s nice dancing with Kiezan but it isn’t amazing. I don’t feel that warmth in my stomach or flutter in my heart. It’s just nice.
My eyes move from Neytiri, across the crowd and up to the stairwell where a familiar frame leans against the wall. I jolt. Kiezan’s hands trail down my side as I watch the figure lean forward. There is something familiar about their stature…
“You like dancing?” Kiezan’s whispers in my ear, his hot breath hitting my neck, making me feel suddenly sick. The figure on the wall immediately straightens before whipping around and disappearing up the stairs. I freeze as I watch their braided hair swing behind them. It’s Tsu’tey.
I shove Kiezan’s hands off me. He grunts in surprise. “I’ll be back,” I muster as I run into the crowd. He calls after me but I can’t make out what he said.
There was something about Tsu’tey’s posture, the way he was watching; it sparked a feeling in me, one I can’t discern. I’m following after him and I’m not even sure why. I guess I’m curious about him. Maybe he’s upset? He should be enjoying the celebration… After all, it is for him.
I make it through the crowd and up the stairs. The air feels cool as it hits my skin. It’s darker here as I walk deeper into Hometree, searching for any sign of him. I keep going, my heart thudding in my chest. Why am I nervous? It’s just Tsu’tey.
After a while, I’m nearly at the top of Hometree and I haven’t seen him. This was stupid. What was I thinking just going after him? He doesn’t need me. I shake my head, silently scolding myself before turning around.
“Y/n?” Tsu’tey’s voice stops me right in my tracks. I slowly turn to find him standing between an archway that leads outside onto a branch. He peers curiously at me. He’s wearing a yellow and red beaded chest piece that brings out the gold in his eyes. I swallow.
“I, uh,” I mumble, struggling to find words, “I was wondering where you went.”
His eyes grow. “I just needed some space.”
“Oh, right, I’ll leave you to it,” I say awkwardly.
“Would you like to join me?” Tsu’tey asks before slamming his lips shut like he hadn’t expected to ask me that. I raise my eyebrows in surprise.  A breeze floats in from the archway, blowing his loincloth softly. My heart begins to pound again as I nod my head.
He turns and walks through the arch. I follow him to find myself on a branch, far above the ground. The night sky is clear and the moons illuminate the forest beneath us. I gasp in delight as I take in the sight.
Tsu’tey hums under his breath, “I love it up here.”
He sits down, letting his long legs dangle over the edge of the branch. I sit down next to him, making sure to leave a bit of space between us. I take a deep breath, tasting the sweetness of the air. “I can see why,” I reply.
“I wanted to thank you,” He says as he looks out at the view.
I tilt my head, my lips turning to the side. “For what?”
“You didn't tell the Olo’eyktan about my injury,” he continues as the moonlight hits his high cheekbones, “you could have gotten much praise but you chose not to tell.” He looks at me, his eyes containing a feeling that I can’t quite place. “You are unexpected.”
My ears perk at his words. I’m not sure how to respond. I clear my throat and shrug, trying to seem nonchalant. “You don’t need to thank me for that.”
“Hm,” he hums as he returns his gaze to the forest. Pandora is gorgeous at night. I’m constantly awestruck by the forest and the Omatikaya. Tsu’tey, despite living here his whole life, seems to still appreciate the beauty of it all. All the way up here, away from any noise.
“You don’t like celebrations, do you?” I ask him.
He lifts his head at this and lets out a little laugh. “You are observant.”
“I am a scientist,” I remind him, “and not a useless one.”
He looks at me, his eyes gleaming with remembrance. “No,” he agrees, “certainly not a useless one.”
My cheeks heat and I quickly look away. “So, why don’t you like parties?”
He shrugs. “Too many people in one space.” I can’t argue with that. There were so many bodies, all of them dancing, it could easily become overwhelming. I drag my fingers along the bark of the branch.
Tsu’tey inhales. “Kiezan seemed to like dancing with you.”
I whip my head towards him, my eyebrows raised and mouth slightly open. “What?”
Tsu’tey reaches up and scratches his forehead. “Oh, I just saw you guys. Nice that you have made friends but…”
“But what?” I scrunch my eyebrows together.
“You could do better than Kiezan,” he says like it’s a fact as his tail flicks behind him.
A laugh escapes, full of disbelief and bewilderment. Why is Tsu’tey talking to me about this? His ears flatten against his skull for a moment before returning to normal.
“What friends would you recommend?” I ask playfully.
“Neytiri,” he begins as he counts on his fingers, “any of the hunters, not Jake but I suppose he is your brother, so...”
I laugh again, the sound rumbling from my stomach. Tsu’tey’s eyes soften. I shake my head. “Okay, good recommendations,” I say lightly, “so who are your friends then?”
He freezes. His entire body goes rigid. My heart sinks into my stomach. Did I say something wrong? I bite my lip as Tsu’tey rubs his hands together as if he is contemplating what to say next.
An ikran crows in the distance, piercing the silence between us as I wait for Tsu’tey to say something. I scratch the bark beneath my fingers anxiously.
Tsu’tey blows out a breath. “I had a best friend, a  finance, I loved her so very much,” he says and the deepness of his voice pains me, “her name was Sylwanin.” My heart sinks lower into my body as I recognize the name of Neytiri’s sister. I hold my breath, waiting for him to say more. His lips turn downward as he stares at his hands. He looks beaten down, vulnerable. I’ve never seen him look like this.
“She must have been pretty amazing,” I say softly.
He nods. “She was killed by skypeople.”
I gasp. I didn’t know that part. My brain searches for something to say, anything, but no words form as I watch the grief stricken man before me.
“That is why I hated you so much,” Tsu’tey says, his voice barely above a whisper, “every time I saw you, I saw the enemy.” He turns to me, his face open, his eyes full of pain and something else– something hopeful. “But I was wrong.”
My heart springs back into my chest and flutters. I blink a few times, processing his words. “I understand,” I reply, “when my brother died… I felt so lost. So lost that  I came to a whole other planet.”
Tsu’tey’s face is somber as he nods. A shared sense of understanding floats between us. The same kind of understanding as when we hunted silently. We allow our pain to mingle quietly between us, not needing to speak to know it is there. The only sound is the chitters of animals beneath us.
After a while, I decide to lighten the mood. It is our celebration after all.
“I guess I should go back,” I say as Tsu’tey turns to me, “since I need to go find some better friends.”
“Ah,” Tsu’tey replies, “I’ll be your friend.”
My mouth falls slightly open. Warmth spreads through my whole body, starting at my toes and into my fingers. My lips split a part into a wide grin. He spoke to me in Na’vi. Friends.
I nudge his shoulder as my grin turns into a smirk. “Who said I want to be your friend?”
HUNTING YOU
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HI EVERYONE! This is actually my first attempt at writing smut. So please please please let me know what yall think.
ALL WORK IS MY ORIGINAL WORK!!!
CHAPTER ONE : PREY
SUMMARY: The reader is a part of the Metkayina clan. She couldn't help herself as she watched and wanted Neytiri and Jake. Maybe it was because they were the first forest people she had ever seen. But she wanted them like a hunter wants its prey. Little did she know that they had also wanted her and were willing to hunt her if that was the only way they could have her.
 WARNINGS: nsfw(18+), smut, minors dni, clit play, degradation kink, fingering, squirting, avatar/na'vi!jake, dilf!jake, fem!bodied reader, metkayina!reader, creampie, unprotected sex, breeding kink, dry humping, pet names (babygirl, dirty girl), poly relationship
PAIRING: jake sully x neytiri, jake sully x reader, neytiri x reader
➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵
At first it had started out as a small tease between him and Neytiri. He had made a comments of your beauty and your welcoming eyes. He always refrained from making further comments.But today he couldn't help himself but mention how out of all the Metkayina women, you had been the curviest. The only reason he even mentioned it was in order to try and crack out a smile from Neytiri. He was fully expecting a hiss from Neytiri's lips but what she said next surprised him like nothing else had.
“Yes she is, her hips are fuller than the other women,as if she’s had a babe. She is better suited to carry one. Her frame is strong and legs sturdy. She would be a good mate.” All Jake could do was stare at her in disbelief.
“Neytiri, I was just joking.” Jake said in shock and disbelief. He fully prepared himself from a smack upside the head at his comment. Especially because he said it infront of his mate.
“I am not, I have been watching her since we arrived. She has been the kindest to us and the children.”
Neytiri was surprised at the words that came out of her mouth. She had no idea what came over her but she could hide it no longer. Yes she had a mate and loved him with all her heart, but she could not deny the beauty she saw in you. She had been observing you for quite some time. Like a predator stalking its prey. Maybe it was the instincts she developed from her younger years after being a hunter, but she couldn't help it. She liked what she saw. And so did Jake.
“Ma Jake, do not be offended by my words. She is a beautiful woman and I cannot help myself. I love you more than myself but I find myself wanting her, needing her, hunting her like a predator to its prey.” She felt relieved to finally get it off her chest.
The truth is she found herself staring at you more than she would like to admit. Ever since arriving at the reef she has felt like an outsider. An outsider because she simply could not adapt as quickly as the rest of her family had. She found herself drawn to you the moment she saw you.
When you would visit their mauri she would find herself entranced by your voice. The way your lips moved and the curve of your mouth. The way your eyes shone with the reflection of the sun. And the movement of your chest and you breathed. She couldn't help herself. She was drawn to you. She wanted you. And now with Jake's words she found like a weight has lifted off her chest. Her mate felt the same.
Jake had noticed you almost immediately around the same time Neytiri had. He couldn't help himself from staring at the sway of your hips. The fullness of your breast, and the curves he noticed underneath your top. But what truly captivated him was the curve of your lips and the roundness of your eyes and how they showed your innocence. The moment he noticed that it was like a light switch went off in his mind. Afterall he had developed the mind of a hunter. He was a predator and he wanted you to be his prey.
“Neytiri, tell me, have you thought about her?” He asked her still with doubt in his mind. Neytiri couldn't help but walk in front of him grabbing his waist and pulling him towards her. Chest to chest.
“Yes Ma Jake. I see her the same as you see her. I can't keep it at bay any longer.” By this point they had their foreheads pressed to one another, breathing into one another. Neytiri grabbed her braid and he did the same grabbing his. They hugged one another and connected their queues and that's when they felt it.
They wanted you. They needed you, between them, under them, and over them. They wanted you psychically and mentally. And that’s when they made you their next mission. They were making you their prey. And you would be theirs.
They couldn't help themselves and slammed their lips together. Their want overcoming them.No matter how long they've been mated for, every time they connected their queues it was exhilarating and overwhelming as if it was the first time.
“Ma Jake I need you.” Neytiri couldn't help but push out in between gasps. With this Jake grabbed her and laid her on the ground pulling himself on top of her letting his weight on her.
“I need you too, baby girl.” He said as he gripped her hips and grinded his own hips into hers. He let his finger slip down to her loincloth, slipping them between her lips at the same time as Neytiri clung onto him by the shoulders and let out a hiss at the newfound friction on her clit.
“You're already wet, my dirty girl. Is this because of me or because all you think about is being in between y/n’s legs?”
“For you both ma jake.” She couldn't help but let out in between gasps. She grinded her hips against his fingers practically humping into his hand. Her wetness trickinging down his hand, and she went to grab his cock. She started pumping him between her hand practically tugging him to her entrance.
Jake took this as a sign and quickly tore his loin cloth off and discarded hers as well. He leaned down to kiss her in an attempt to battle for dominance over the kiss and he lined himself up to her cunt. In one swift and powerful thrust he was inside her.
“Yes! Right there, please don't stop.” She practically cried out as she dug her nails into his shoulders and brought her leg on his hip. Jake grabbed her other leg and threw it over his shoulder.
“I should have known you wanted her.” He let out between grunts as Neytiri bit onto his shoulder in an attempt to contain her moans.
“I want her, Jake. I want you both at the same time.” She couldn't help but say in between moans. The way she was clenching around him was making Jake close to cumming. He grabbed her other leg and threw it over his other shoulder. He had her sandwiched under him and started hammering into her, thrusting even deeper than before at this angle.
“She will be ours, my love. ILL. MAKE. SURE. OF .IT.” He said, emphasizing each word with a hard thrust. He reached down to her clit and rubbed hard yet with intent.
“Ma jake, MA JAKE! I'M CUMMING!” Neytiri practically yelled. With this he thrusted into her and rubbed her clit simultaneously. Jake came with a loud groan into Neytiri and Neytiri came around his cock biting down on her lip. He lazily kept thrusting until he cum was leaking out of Neytiri. Slowly he stopped his thrusts but stayed deep inside of Neytiri.
“We have to make her ours.” Neytiri said softly yet with determination as she lightly caressed his face pulling him into a deep kiss.
“She will be ours, my love.” Jake promised to her in between the kiss and stared into her beautiful eyes.
“Even if we have to hunt her down.” He said softly as he laid his head on Neytiri’s chest, still refusing to pull out of her warmth. With that promise they slowly drifted off to sleep in their mauri.
But what they didn't know was that you had been outside their mauri listening to everything. You pulled your left hand from your lips that had been covering your mouth, and your right hand from underneath your loincloth. That was the hardest you had ever came. They wanted to hunt you and make you their prey? Let’s see who becomes whose prey first then. After all, you were a hunter yourself. And you were determined to make them yours.
➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵➵
AHHH!!!! Okay that was my first ever attempt at writing smut and let me tell you, not as easy as it seems. But yes this is most likely going to be a mini series. Get ready to see the reader fight for dominance against Jake and Neytiri. And just to reiterate this WILL be a poly couple. So all three will be in a relationship. Can’t wait for yall’s feedback and to write some more. Things are gonna get heated yall! TOODLES <3
𝜗𝜚 — "You're quiet today," Neytiri observed as she looked up from her basket and looked over at you, watching the forcefulness of your hand movements, the frown that sat on your face as your eyebrows were scrunched together, and the agitated tail behind you. “What’s wrong?”
𝜗𝜚 — “Nothing is wrong, Sa’nok, I’m fine,” you lied but Neytiri saw through it knowing that something was bothering you and she wasn’t going to give it up. “[Name]...” She began this time using a gentle maternal tone that you knew all too well.
𝜗𝜚 — Letting out a sigh, you stop weaving and try to avoid her eye contact, you knew she wouldn’t let it go so why not come out with it? “Why can’t I be like them?” you mumbled thinking she didn’t hear you but she did. “What do you mean?” she queried as she moved closer to you, taking a braid out of your face and tucked it behind your ear.
𝜗𝜚 — You move away from her touch and her ears flatten against her head in sadness, you used to always lean into her touch when you were younger, it’s really hitting her that you’re growing away from her. “Why can’t I be like Neteyam, Kiri, Tuk, hell even Lo’ak,” you mumbled. “They’re easily adapting here and I still can’t get it right?”
𝜗𝜚 — “Back in the forest, everything came to me easily but now…” you take a breath as you try to fight back the tears from falling.
𝜗𝜚 — “Now everything is hard for me and I’m always the one left behind because I can’t manage to hold my breath longer…” The tears rolled down your cheeks as you let out a sob and Neytiri's heart broke to see you like this, she immediately pulled you into her embrace holding you tightly.
𝜗𝜚 — “I’m sorry, I’m such a failure.” you wept as you buried your face in her chest.
𝜗𝜚 — “Hey, stop that, you can never be a failure in my or your father's eyes,” she coos softly as she rubs your back.
𝜗𝜚 — “You should never compare yourself to other people, you’re you and that’s what matters to us.” She says as she pulls away from the hug to wipe the tears off your beautiful face, she saw a lot of her in you at this moment since you shared a lot more of Jake’s traits and smiled a bit.
𝜗𝜚 — “We all learn at our own paces, you’re not going to get everything so quickly.” She comments as she looks down at you with a soft gaze.
𝜗𝜚 — “Your father did not pass his first training with Tsurak just like how years ago, he didn’t get things on the first try just like you. She smiled as she remembered the moments when she had to teach Jake. “But he never gave up and kept trying and gave it his best.”
𝜗𝜚 — “You have what it takes to learn to adapt, don’t give up so easily.” You nod your head quietly as you rub your eyes a bit, letting out a small smile. “Also don’t bottle this all up inside you, your father, siblings, and I are here to talk or when you need a shoulder to lean on.”
𝜗𝜚 — “Alright, I’ll come to you next time,” she smiles at your response and pulls you in for a hug. “I’ll keep trying, I won’t give up,” you assure her. “Good.”
𝜗𝜚 — “Would you talk to me about your crush on the Chief’s son?” She queried as you pulled away, she raised an eyebrow bone and your face began to heat up and a flustered smile showed up on your face.
𝜗𝜚 — “W…what crush? I don’t like him at all.” You stutter but all Neytiri does is smile, seeing through that lie but she doesn’t say anything, just simply lets out a laugh and goes back to weaving her basket.
Headcanon:
Both Neytiri and Jake liking you
Tumblr media
Request: Yes or No
Sorry for the sudden absence! I will try to get When Fire Meets Fate out soon
~~~
You'd met Jake at the compound with Grace introducing you as his babysitter. The chuckle that had escaped you at her words made his skin flush
However, there were some truth to her words. You never allowed Jake to stray far and always kept him within view. It had made Jake feel like a child at first but he grew to find comfort in your stare and even felt uneasy when he didn't feel your eyes on it
Along with the uneasiness was this prick of neediness. A desire to have your attention on him at all times
And his desire had been fulfilled the first few days on Pandora. You were his teacher along with Grace and Norm. You taught him about Pandora, the dos and don'ts, and the little knowledge you had about the Na'vi
Despite your lessons Jake still managed to get himself in trouble with the thanator and separated from you and the others
When he returned- his avatar tucked away safely with the Na'vi to Grace's relief- he met your eyes first and gleefully smile, ready to tell you all about his meeting with the Na'vi clan
While you were glad to see him fine, you still smacked the back of his head (not that it did much considering he laughed afterward)
His encounters were amazing for Grace to hear and he often found himself in your room retelling the story with all the tiny details. You were easy to talk to and it helped him feel more comfortable with his new life
He kept his meetings with Colonel Quaritch a secret however. You and Grace were close as you had been assigned as a soldier for her team and your dislike for the man who was still essentially your boss was apparent
But, regardless of secrets, he certainly didn't keep you from Neytiri. His evolving friendship with the fiery native had gotten to the point where he felt comfortable talking to her about things, including you
And Neytiri was curious, albeit still hesitant on meeting another soldier given everything the humans did, but still curious enough to convince her parents to allow both Grace and you to meet her people (much to the delight of Jake)
Her ears twitched and turned, listening to the sound of the chopper flying away. She could feel the excitement oozing of Jake in waves and a small smile tugged at her blue lips as she glanced at him. Jake's eyes lit up as you pushed through the brush, Grace following close behind you.
"Good to finally see this guy again." You grinned at him and Jake's tail twitched and lashed from contained happiness. Neytiri met Grace's gaze first and exchanged a fond look with her, the memories of their time together before the school had shut down still fresh in their minds. Sylwanin would've been pleased to see her again.
"You know Grace." Jake turned his head to look at Neytiri, motioning to the older woman before he lifted his hand in your direction. "This is (Y/N)."
"I've heard much about you." Neytiri spoke, eyeing the gun in your hands. Without looking away from her, you shifted the gun and allowed it to rest against your back and out of view. You made no attempt to greet her with a handshake and instead gave a small nod.
"All good things, I hope." You smiled and she relaxed. You had a warm air about you, one that calmed her. While your ears twitched at every sound and your eyes occasionally flickered about, you weren't as tense or jumpy as the other humans she'd seen. Calm yet alert. You'd fit in fine with her people, she could tell already.
Much to the surprise of her parents and Tsu'tey, you had given up your gun without any complaint. This willingness had caused Mo'at and Eytukan to share an approving look
While you'd been more than happy to learn the language and culture, you'd been more apprehensive about exchanging your clothes for a loincloth. You'd already teased Jake about his enough, you didn't want to tables turned which did disappoint Jake in the slightest.
After moving to a spot in the Hallelujah Mountains, you and Jake were able to spend even more time together
Of course with him focusing more on his life with the Na'vi it meant he forgot to do things like eat, drink, and overall take care of himself
When it got to a worrying point, you backed him in a corner and essentially spoon fed him until he caught the hint. Although it took a bit since he got a fluttery feeling when he realized you were taking care of him in such a domestic way and didn't want it to stop
Back with the Na'vi, Neytiri had quickly warmed up to you, much faster than it'd taken for her to warm up to Jake
You were more observant and a quick learner so you learned the language quick meanwhile Jake still had trouble speaking it
And of course, you'd finally given in to the loincloth after much consideration
"Oh, well look at you!" Grace called in a teasing tone, laughing when you grumbled in return. Neytiri and Jake turned in your direction upon hearing her voice, eyes zoning in on you immediately.
"This is..." You huffed softly, skin flushing as you crossed your arms over your chest. You hadn't been this exposed to the world since the day you left the womb. Your pressed lied flat against your chest, lips pulled into a cute scowl and tail lashing wildly behind you.
"You look fine." Neytiri spoke first, rising from her hunches and approaching you with a small smile. Jake took a moment as he studied the details of your body, committing everything to memory before you could regret the decision and return to your shirt and cargo pants.
"Y-Yeah! You look great, (Y/N)." Jake agreed, rising as well and grinning widely. "I think it's about time you start hunting."
"I believe you'd take to a bow easily. You've got strong arms, good eyes." Neytiri pressed her hands to your abdomen and inhaled deeply, nodding her head for you to mimic her. You did so and she hummed in approval, hands lingering before they dropped to her sides.
"If Jake of all people can do it, I'm sure I'll do fine." You replied, hearing Neytiri giggle and Jake huff playfully.
Despite having little interest in joining her clan, Neytiri insisted on teaching you to hunt. It began with instructing you on how to hold a bow
She was gentler with you than she was with Jake- something he picked up on- but she was regardless strict and firm though she rarely lost her patience as she had with Jake
Neytiri admired your openness to learning the way of her people. Jake had been open but stubborn in letting go of the human way resulting in his training taking longer than yours
The clan had been more accepting of you as well, with even Tsu'tey keeping his comments solely directed at Jake instead both you and him
The more time you spent with Jake and Neytiri, the more they grew attached. You didn't get much time alone as the two always found you somehow, always following and watching
So, when you inevitably caught the eye of another Na'vi, the two noticed immediately
Running your fingers over the arch of the training bow, you narrowly missed the shadow that fell over you. Tilting your head up, you rose to your full height and offered the woman a smile.
"(Y/N)." Ninat greeted, lifting her fingers to her forehead and lowering her hand. While you had only seen her in passing, her voice demanded attention during ceremonies. It carried over the others, powerful and beautiful. "I've heard you've taken well to the bow."
Neytiri watched from her spot beside Jake, fingers remaining on her forearm as she studied you and Ninat. Jake took notice, lowering his arms and nearly letting the arrow slip from his fingers. He curiously followed her gaze and felt his stomach twist. Ninats' body language as she spoke to you made her intentions obvious. She was flirting. With you.
Neytiri broke away from Jake, reaching you in a couple quick strides. Jake stumbled after her, slipping the bow over his shoulder and clearing his throat to grab your attention.
"Hey, you two." You greeted casually and Ninat released an unsatisfied hum, greeting Neytiri in typically Na'vi fashion.
"You're ready to hunt, (Y/N). Come, you must track-"
"I could accompany him. JakeSully will need you for training."
"Nonsense." Neytiri sharply turned toward her. Ninat lowered her ears, holding Neytiri's gaze for a few seconds before she looked away, murmuring a farewell to you.
"I'm sure she could've-" You clamped your mouth shut when Neytiri turned her glare onto you.
"Come, you both must prove yourselves." Neytiri muttered bitterly, glancing in Ninats direction before she stalked off.
Neytiri's foul mood had disappeared after you and Jake successful completed your hunt and it was instead replaced with pride
Jake had beamed and boasted about it to Norm whilst you watched, chuckling along and eating a meal. Jake felt proud, not only proud that he had his first kill but proud of you too
Climbing up the Hallelujah Mountains to reach ikran territory had been a challenge and Jake had made sure to check on you every few minutes, anxiety gripping his mind the higher up they went until they reached ikran territory
Neytiri felt confident in your abilities along w Jake's so when she arrived, she addressed you both with reassuring smiles and explained what needed to be done in order to claim an ikran. You and Jake exchanged a look upon hearing how the ikrans chose their riders
Nevertheless, you and Jake were successful again. Jake had gone first, struggling and nearly being thrown off the side of the mountain but he'd gotten their queues together and took off into the skies with a surprised shout. Neytiri waited for you to tame a ikran before taking to the skies, showing her pride through shouts and vocal calls
Not long after, she gleefully led you and Jake to a place she called the Tree of Voices. It lived up to its names when you were able to hear the voices of past Na'vi upon connecting your queue to it
And then, Neytiri revealed another thing...
"You may make your bow from the wood of Hometree." She murmured, the blissful look on her face disappearing. "And you may choose a mate."
"A mate?" You repeated, disconnecting your queue from the vines and blinking at her. Jake's lips parted and he glanced between you and Neytiri. The woman turned her back to you, gazing up at the sky.
"We have many good men and women. Strong, loyal... Good hunters and fighters."
"And what if I don't want just one?" Jake questioned softly and Neytiri looked over her shoulder at him, ears perking up. Jake swallowed and met your curious gaze.
"Who do you want, Jake?" You asked softly.
"Neytiri." Jake answered and she smiled fondly. "And you."

Stxeli: Those Eyes
Here is another chapter of the ongoing series! I hope you all enjoy~!!
Stxeli series
----------------
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another day, another way. Neytiri awakens as usual in her own little hammock. She secretly hates it. Hates going to sleep and waking up alone. Of course she could go to her parents and sleep with them, but that would mean to be beside her.
Every since her mother brought back that human child, things have changed and were not the same. Having to adjust not just her elder sister's death but the arrive of the new infant.
Neytiri honestly doesnt know how to react to the new addition. She doesnt hate the infant, but doesnt love it either. Complicated feelings swirl in her heart. Seeking Eywa will only confuse her more. Tsu'tey isnt much help at the moment. Just being alone with her thought to hopefully figure out her inner feelings.
Tumblr media
Mo'at had a long list of duties to do and unfortunately she cant keep an eye on stxeli for the whole day. Eytukan cant take care of their baby either as he is to lead the hunters for another nights feast.
So that only leaves neytiri.
"It will just be for awhile neytiri. As a big sister, it is also your responsibility to take care of your sister stxeli. I know you can do your best with her". After that Eytukan left to attend his olo'eyktan duties. Leaving neytiri and stxeli alone with each others company.
Neytiri looks over that the human child, not really getting near her. These past week has been a blur for the young na'vi. Does her parent really expect her to love the human child? After everything her kind did to her people? To her real sister?
Stxeli being just herself, makes sounds and looks at her surroundings. Her big eyes landing on neytiri. Their eyes meet, and a wave of excitement flowed through the baby. Asking to be carried by neytiri. Yet the na'vi wont move. Her eyes never wavering from those human eyes.
Little stxeli kept waving her arms around desiring to be held. She squeals and would make noises her mother would usually respond to. But neytiri still sits still. Observing the child and what its trying to do. Seeking attention is what she gathered.
Grabbing one of her mother's baskets, she puts stxeli in the basket and proceeds to carry her around like that.
Tumblr media
It wasnt what stxeli wanted but it shall suffice for now. At least she gets to have a wide view of things. From the tall trees, to familiar faces that wave at her direction.
Stxeli preferred to be carried by the young girl who keeps staring at her. She has pretty eyes and wanted to get a closer look. Looks so much like mama and papa's eyes! Little stxeli tried to the girl's attention by making noise, but no response.
Stxeli wasnt having that.
Grabbing one of the braids that was hanging close to stxeli, she yanked it rather hard. This caused neytiri to hiss. In return, stxeli laughed like it was a funny thing to her. Neytiri had such tiny fangs! Smaller than mother's fangs.
Yanking again to the get the same reaction, neytiri was quick to be annoyed. Putting down the basket, she glares down at the child. "Such a demanding thing you are".
Deciding not the carry the basket, neytiri proceeds to drag it instead, with her tail. Not wanting the little infant to tug on her hair again.
Tumblr media
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
its only been 2 hours, and neytiri is near her wits end. Little stxeli was screaming at the top of her lungs, and young neytiri fears it would attract unwanted predators. Sighing in distress, she puts down the basket to see stxeli rolling around in it, her little face red and tears wont stop flowing.
"What? What do you want?" she pleads with the baby. As if the infant can understand her, stxeli pats her tummy. Neytiri tilts her head, was the baby hungry? It has been a while since morning.
Tring to remember what mo'at feeds the baby, she grabs the basket again, and quickly searches for some fruit. But stxeli was screaming near her sensitive ears, her patience growing a bit thin.
Tumblr media
What felt like forever, netyiri thankfully found some ripe yovo fruit, carefully cutting it small pieces, she shoves it in stxeli's mouth, making her to stop screaming.
With a huge sigh of relief, little neytiri relaxes in silence. But her ears twitch to the sound of stxeli munching away. Slowly her gaze turns to the baby. The little one's cheeks red and eyes a bit puffy, but stxeli wasnt so bad...
The young girl observes the human baby, taking in everyting. But her amber eyes made contact with the eyes of the infant. There was nothing but silence between them. Stxeli kept eating the soft fruit as her eyes never leaving neytiri's.
"Maybe you are not so ugly after all...." neytiri mutters.
Tumblr media
Mo'at returns home at the same time with her mate. Both tired from their long day of doing their tasks. A nice dinner will regain their strength, and a nice cleanse by the river waters.
"Where is my sweet children?" mo'at asks as she seeks around her home. At the far corner, she finds neytiri holding stxeli. She gasped inwardly. It was the first time she has seen young neytiri holding her new sister like that. A smile crept up to her lips, enjoying the sight in front of her.
Eytukan appeared behind her, seeing the same thing. "It seems she is taking the big sister role well" he comments. Mo'at nods in agreement. Both get close to the girls, bending down. "How was your day with your sister ma'ite?" eytukan asks neytiri.
She shrugs but smiles, "it was....a very noisy day, but it is alright ma'sempu" she replies. Mo'at reaches for stxeli but neytiri backs away. This slightly confused mo'at.
"Are you not tired from holding her?" mo'at asks. Neytiri shakes her head, "no, I like holding her, and she likes it too. Isnt that right my sister?". Stxeli giggles as if to agree.
Eytukan turns to his mate, and widens a grin. Was mo'at...pouting?
Tumblr media
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand that is all for this one! Hope you all liked it! Should the next chapter be eytukan focused? Lemme know what you guys think! until next time! see ya!

The daughter of two worlds (2)
neteyam and daughter reader + sully family and others
Tumblr media
Many years had passed and life had gone on for the great mother and her children. As the years had come and gone neteyam had kept true to his promise to his daughter. Along with the passing years that had come the baby girl y/n had grown up, becoming her own person. A girl that had been deemed a child of two worlds as seemed one with the forest, and one with ocean.
y/n " ......." a young girl was walking through her village with a smile on her face.
elder " good morning y/n"
y/n " good morning"
navi women " good morning y/n"
y/n " good morning" you had moved swiftly and graceful as other were walking pass or near the sideline, after a while you had soon reached the healer hut.
mo'at " there is my great granddaughter"
y/n " hello great grand mother"

y/n " yes ma'am"
mo'at " good now go have fun I will tell the rest of the family where you went"
y/n " thank you" you had smiled at your great grandmother as you soon left the hut, passing by some of the healers and some people that came seeking help. They gave you smiles when they saw you as you waved to them.
mo'at " Be safe out there"
y/n " I will" you had soon left the village running past the human homes saying hello, to them as well as you soon left the territories of the clan. Since you had always been young you always felt a connection to the forest and the great mother as well, so much that your great grandmother and aunt kiri started teaching you heal and how to understand the great mother even more.
y/n " ......" you had ran on some tree trucks and played with some of the flowers, as you made your way through the forest. After some walking and running you soon reached, a place you always like to hangout. The sound of rushing water had soon draw your attention you soon saw a water fall, a smile had grown on your face as you went to the top of the waterfall.
y/n " this is good enough" you had soon walked away from the edge and soon ran back, jumped off the edge of the waterfall and soon diving into the deepwater below. You had soon open your eyes to see you are underwater a smile grew on your face, the water around you always felt natural to you.
y/n " ......" you had stayed under the water for a while until you had to head back to the surface for air, you had laid on your pack in the water as you floated around.
y/n " huh oh hello there" you had open your eyes when you felt something touching your face, you had soon looked and saw it was wood spirts. You had stoped floating and soon reached out of the spirts as it landed on your hand but soon floated away.
y/n " goodbye" you had stayed near the river a bit more working on your skills and enjoying, the beautiful surrounds near you. Soon the sun started setting and it was time to head home.
???? " y/n" you had heard your name getting called you soon looked up to see your dad but with your uncles. You had waved towards them as you made your way towards them.
neteyam " hello my daughter it seems like you had wonder off today"
y/n " yes I did great grandmother said she didn't need me today, and said I should enjoy my day as I please and wish for so I decide to do this dad"
neteyam " I can see that"
Jake " a wild spirt as every my granddaughter"
y/n " yes grandpa" Jake had laughed as he patted your forehead the whole family, knew you had a wild spirt.
lo'ak " so what have you done today"
y/n " explore the beauty of the forest uncle and seeing what has to offer today"
tsu'tey " she also have wisdom in her as well"
Jake " neytiri has been teaching her well"
spider " sounds like aunt neytiri"
Jake " come on everyone lets get home before night comes upon us" the group had nodded their head and soon made their way home, they soon reach it while the sun is still out.
neytiri " there you all are"
y/n " grandma hello"
neytiri " hello my dear I had a feeling you were out exploring"
Jake " well she is our wild spirted and wise spoken granddaughter"
kiri " welcome back everyone"
tuk " welcome home"
y/n " aunt kiri and aunt tuk"
tuk " hey y/n it good to see you sorry we were not able to hangout with you today"
y/n " it okay I understand you are all busy"
neytiri " well why don't you all join us for dinner tsu'tey and spider will you both like to, come we can invite norm as well"
tsu'tey " we will love that"
neytiri " good" the family had gather for a good dinner and everything was going well in the sully family home. You are sitting with your father eating your meal as everyone talked about anything.
mo'at " you know my son I think your daughter will make a good healer, and maybe future tshaik after her aunts"
kiri " yes brother she every skilled and keeps on getting better"
neteyam " umm that good sweetheart will you love to become a healer or tshaik"
y/n " yes but I will also like to learn to fight and hunt as well"
lo'ak " that sounds like a good deal"
Jake " then we can make that happen"
y/n " yes" the family had laughed at your response as you had looked at neteyam.
y/n " dad is everything okay"
neteyam " oh yes my love everything is fine no need to worry" the family had gotten done eating dinner and soon started hanging out inside the home and outside. You were hangout outside having a good time with some other teens your age as well.
Jake " we all know one day she was travel to sea and see what it had to offer her"
neteyam " I know father but I will take sure to be there for her"
kiri " brother we all know y/n has faced many challenges and she, will be able to face this one but with all of us there with her and you"
neytiri " it still makes me mad that they regret her like that all because she different, it goof she different that what makes her special"
neteyam " that what I love about her and I know my daughter will do well"
lo'ak " yes but when she learns the truth of what happened in the past, how will she deal with the situation as either us or anyone else could keep the whole truth hidden anymore ... it might come from us or them maybe someone else"
neteyam " I have been working on telling her the truth when that time comes I will tell her" the family had looked at you as you dance or talking with the other kids and tuk having a good time.
neteyam " for now lets her have some fun while she can while we all can, with what has been going on"
Jake " you are right my son" neteyam was right as the family agreed with him, as they soon joined in with the night actives. That night father and daughter had gone home, neteyam did love you his daughter with all his heart but he also felt sadness for you. As you had been abandoned by the person he loved many years ago, along with the rest of his family and clan. He knew you are doing well and in no time you will show everyone, what you are made of when that day comes. The sully family and clan will be by your side when they day comes when the past comes, back to everyone and thing might not be the same anymore once it does.

Mama's Boy| part 2
Tumblr media
Pair: Jake x neytiri x human reader (trio couple) x sully children's
Warning: kinda sad, crybaby lo'ak, Sweet family moment.
Note: Since the last post about this oneshot was so well received, I wanted to make another part. A little more sad, but with a good ending. More about lo'ak's relationship with his human mom and Y/N's relationship with neytiri and jake. If you want there could be a part 3, but that's up to you.
AVATAR MASTERLIST | Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6(final)
Tumblr media
"Payakan how I wish you knew my mother" speaks lo'ak to his friend. The boy had escaped for a while from the metkayina clan. His new home. He went to spend some time with his friend tulkun, he needed to distract himself. He had been feeling so sad the last week, his birthday was coming up and the most important person in his life was not with him. "She would love you so much…she is beautiful and kind and…she is everything" says lo'ak lying on the creature's back. As he looks up at the stars, pointing to one. " my mom also come from that star, just like my dad…but compared to my dad, she is a human" lo'ak looks at tulkun, who made a noise of curiosity. Payakan asked himself the same question everyone asked when lo'ak said his mama was a human.
"Mama says that eywa blessed her with me…that I am a miracle. That I am her miracle." Lo'ak continues to stare at the star, as his eyes begin to glaze over with homesickness. "That's why I have my hands like this…as well as my feet. And my facial features are a little different…I look like my mom" Lo'ak laughs a little, trying to control the tears that were starting to come out. Payakan asks him if he misses her, making lo'ak keep a long silence. "Of course I do… she's the only person who understands me" lo'ak turns and hugs payakan. Payakan can feel lo'ak's tears fall on his skin. It breaks his heart, feeling his friend this sad. "I wish mama was here," lo'ak says, whimpering even more.
You had to leave your family, when Jake had to leave the clan. Jake thought it best for you to stay with norm, until he could find a safe place. Where you could be with the family. The omaticaya clan accepted you because you had grown up there, but in other clans humans were not welcome. So Jake would eventually try to get them to accept you, this was temporary. But it was still painful for the whole family. Neytiri's tears were running down her cheeks, and she didn't want to let go of your hand, as she walked up to the ikran with tuk. The little tuk was crying, as she asked you to join them. "My darling…mommy will be with you soon" you comfort the little one, neytiri did not let go of your hand. "Promise me you'll be okay" says neytiri, watching you nod your head. You were doing everything you could to control yourself. You didn't want them to see you destroyed, especially since lo'ak was watching you. The other children in the family were sad, and wiping their tears. But lo'ak was serious, looking straight ahead. He was upset with you, he thought you might go and it was you who didn't want to go with them.
You walk towards jake, he kneels down and gives you a soft kiss on the lips (the reader is wearing the oxygen mask I explained in this post "click here") "I'll come for you…I promise" says jake, hugging you as tight as he can. "Please tell him how much I love him…yes?" you pull away from him a little, to look at lo'ak. Your boy doesn't even want to say goodbye to you. "I will…don't worry he will understand" jake says goodbye for the last time and gets on his ikran. Everyone leaves, lo'ak takes one last look at you, watching your figure grow smaller the further away they go. And there right there his eyes begin to fill with tears. ++ +++ It was only 1 day before his birthday, and lo'ak couldn't feel more sad. Usually you two had a habit. Normally you were always with everyone in the family, you were always with your other children. But lo'ak's birthday was special, just for the two of you. You used to walk through the jungle, make jewelry for him. It was your time together, and now he was sitting on the sand. Watching the waves crash, while trying to arrange various pieces of snail shell. He had spent the whole day, searching for the materials he needed, getting away from everyone.
Tsireya together with rotxo and ao'nung went to ask what was wrong, well tsireya wanted to know. Lo'ak had been distant from the group of friends. "Hey…you" shouts ao'nung getting lo'ak's attention as the group of friends approached him. "H-hello" speaks lo'ak glancing at them quickly, but turning his full attention back to his work. "What are you doing?" asks tsireya, kneeling down to be closer to see what lo'ak is doing. "I'm collecting material to make some bracelets with my mom, for when she gets here," says lo'ak. This gets the boys' attention, looking at each other curiously. "When she comes? Your mom is here" roxto speaks while pointing to the sully's marui.
Lo'ak looks at him, and laughs a little. "No…my other mom…my birth mom. She will be coming very soon," lo'ak says. "You have another mom? That sounds amazing" says tsireya cuirious at what lo'ak said. "Yes, my mom stayed in the jungle, so she would be safe. She is a person from the sky" says lo'ak, realizing what he said. "Ahh mmm" lo'ak tries to fix what he said. "Your mom is a demon? How is that possible?" ao'nung starts to laugh, but rotxo pushes him away. "Is that true?" asks tsireya, watching lo'ak get flustered. Taking everything from the sand, and starting to walk towards his marui. Leaving the group of confused boys with more questions. "That was very rude of you," rotxo says to ao'nung. The boy lifts his shoulders and rolls his eyes.
Lo'ak arrives at the marui, lucky for him only his parents were there. Jake was helping neytiri with the food, they both saw how lo'ak quickly entered and went to the balcony behind the marui. He was holding some things in his hands and by his face they could see that he was crying. Jake looked quickly at neytiri, she stops him. "I'll go," says Neytiri. Getting up to see what was going on, he found lo'ak sitting down. He had some shells in his hands, together with other materials. As he cried inconsolably. "Lo'ak…everything okay honey?" asks neytiri wrapping lo'ak in her arms.
"I miss mom…she's supposed to be here. Everything is fine…why isn't she here?" cries lo'ak, tears were falling non-stop on his arms. Neytiri didn't know what to tell him, she missed you too. She needed you too, everyone in the family did. "Lo'ak I know you miss her…but you must wait a little longer," Neytiri says. Lo'ak looks at her, his look was one of upset. He looked like a lost little boy. "dad said she would be here….and tomorrow is my birthday and she's not here!!!! I miss my mom!!!" lo'ak cries harder, while neytiri hugs him. Cuddling him on her chest, she decides not to say anything and just comfort her son.
After a while, neytiri manages to calm lo'ak down. The boy stays on the balcony preparing his materials. While neytiri enters the marui, seeing that jake was waiting for her. "So?" asks jake. Neytiri sits up and looks at jake. Her eyes were soaking wet. "Jake… Y/N I miss her so much" neytiri wipes her tears, jake walks over and hugs her. "I miss her too" jake comforts neytiri. "Isn't there some way she…" neytiri looks at jake. Jake knew what neytiri meant, but it was a difficult situation. It had been a few months since the altercation with the RDA, and barely everyone had made it out alive. Neteyam had been badly hurt, lo'ak and the others had almost died. And spider had to return to the Omaticaya clan. Ronal didn't want humans in the clan, so it was very difficult for jake to bring you in. "Neytiri you know I can't do anything" jake tries to explain to her, but she gets up annoyed. But before leaving the marui she looks at jake. "For some things you move heaven and earth…but to bring our partner you look for a thousand excuses. She wouldn't look for excuses to be with us" says neytiri, angry.
Jake was between a rock and a hard place. They saw him as the bad guy, but he didn't want to put you in danger. Jake knew that something bad could happen to you, this was a dangerous place. But seeing his family suffer like this broke his heart. He missed you too. You were also his partner…he needed you. You were an important pillar in the Sully family, Jake felt that little by little everything was falling apart without your presence. He felt that he was falling apart without you.
That night was very slow, everyone had gone to bed earlier than usual. And lo'ak didn't even want to eat. He stayed in bed all afternoon. He would be lying if he said he hadn't cried a few times. He fell asleep, wishing his wish would come true that eywa would listen to him. It was the only thing he asked for.
In the morning, lo'ak began to open his eyes carefully, watching as the sun's rays began to enter through the entrance of marui, but he continued to lie down. He closed his eyes more, not wanting the day to begin. It was his birthday and he already knew it was going to suck…but out of nowhere he felt someone give him a warm kiss on the cheek. Ignoring the affection, he settled in more. "mama let go of me" lo'ak moaned, thinking neytiri was waking him up. But he felt someone kiss him again and heard that distinct smile. "Are you sure about that my love?" you speak, you were on the edge of lo'ak's hammock. Lo'ak's eyes snap open, looking back. Seeing the figure of his mother there, he couldn't believe it. "Ma-mama is that you?" asks lo'k, her voice was already getting shorter as he felt the tears building up in his eyes. "Mmm yes my love…I'm here" you caress lo'ak's face. The boy turns and hugs you with all his heart. Starting to cry out loud, he was so happy. "Mama…my mama is here" lo'ak doesn't let go of you at any moment.
This wakes up the whole family, who are left in speechless shock when they see you there. In the middle of the marui, hugging lo'ak. The first to jump out of the hammock is neytiri, running towards you. To join lo'ak's hug. "Ma Y/N, for my eywa" neytiri also begins to cry from happiness. The other children also run to greet you. "Mama!!!" neteyam nuzzles into your shoulder while tuk and kiri do the same. "How are you here?" neytiri pulls away to look at you, lo'ak hasn't let go of you at any time. Sometimes he forgets that he is twice your size. "Well someone went looking for me" you speak as you see jake, this one was at the entrance of the marui watching the whole scene. Jake approaches his family. "Well…now we have to figure out how to fix this whole 'demon' being here thing" jokes Jake, stroking your cheek with his thumb. But nothing matters at this point, because everyone was excited enough to think about anything else.
After a long welcome, all the children in the family decided to go get you something for a special breakfast, leaving Jake, Neytiri and you alone for a moment. Jake and Neytiri were watching you from a corner as you settled your things. "Did something happen?" you ask laughing a little, watching your partners look at you so lovingly. Neytiri was still teary-eyed. "Come here," says Jake, shaking his hand for you to join them. You walk over taking jake's hand, you were now in the middle of the two of them. You watch as neytiri moves closer to you, taking your face in her hands. It wasn't a long kiss, but it was enough to let you know that she missed you. You hug her neck, feeling her face in your neck. "I love you so much," says Neytiri. "What about me?" says Jake, still holding your hand. You two laugh, and you pull Jake close to kiss him as well. Feeling jake pull you into his lap, giving you kisses on your cheeks. While neytiri sat right in front of you, very close. Taking your hands, caressing them. Checking if you had no wounds. This was a very intimate moment, a moment you had not experienced for a long time.
"Ney I'm fine" you laugh, while neytiri keeps checking every part of your body. Lifting your legs and arms. "Are you sure? Nothing happened?" neytiri asks and jake just watches with a cute smile on his face. "Yes…the ones I'm worried about are you guys. And more you" you look up to see jake, he still had some bruises on his face and some cuts that were still healing. "Oh no baby…I'm fine, don't worry" jake says, feeling you touching some wounds on his arm. "He's very stubborn…I've been asking ronal to take care of him for weeks" says neytiri. You look at neytiri curiously. "Ronal?" you ask. "Oh..ronal is the Tsahìk of this clan, and speaking of her. Let her know you're here," says jake. Neytiri looks at jake with surprise and punches him in the arm. "Don't tell me no one knows Y/N is here?" neytiri looks at jake, who just laughs nervously. "Jake!!!" you start to fuss, but watch as jake laughs and takes neytiri's arm so that now she was on his lap too. Snuggling both of you in his arms. "I'll worry about that later…now I want to enjoy my ladies' company" jake jokes, giving them both kisses. You guys complain, but you don't complain about enjoying the moment.

The journey of motherhood had been both a tumultuous and joyous ride for Neytiri ever since her first pregnancy.
Being a chief’s daughter and also one of the clan's best hunters from a young age, she had hardly thought much about her future, which at the time had already been set up for her after her sister’s unfortunate death.
Neytiri had not started her life with expectations of becoming Tsahik, being the second daughter - so she had proven herself as a hunter and warrior until the sudden new responsibilities were thrust upon her shoulders alongside the engagement with Tsu’tey. Someone who she had viewed as an older brother, yet both of them were forced to accept the new arrangement in the following grief of Sylwanin’s death.
Jake had flipped her entire world upon entering it - something she had viewed negatively despite the signs of Eywa branding him as someone special, not to be ignored.
And he had turned out to be the missing piece in her life; the one who filled her lungs with fresh air and kept her afloat during hard times.
His presence alone comforted her, even across the room engaged in conversations with other people. Neytiri always knew she was safe with Jake nearby, and the same went for him. They were each other’s protectors no matter the situation. And now their protection had expanded over five children of their own.
Motherhood had been a scary thought during her first pregnancy with you. Having been conceived in the midst of uncertain times, yet filled with a new undiscovered love. Jake had been shocked to his very bones at the revelation, only a few days after the final battle against the sky demons.
She remembered the silence omitted from him, one of the very few moments Neytiri felt the fear of being left behind before a beautiful grin had filled his face and he had lifted her off the ground in joyous laughter, and abruptly changing into a frown as he had released her before muttering in slight horror, ‘You went to battle pregnant?’
She had simply hissed at him in slight frustration, reminding him quickly of who she was before he could go on a rant about her safety when the war was all over with.
Maybe that was why Neytiri found herself admiring her oldest daughter more and more these days as you grew older. Where Kiri was precious herself, she was more peaceful. A healer at heart, that reminisced her of Sylwanin.
Her little Tukteyri was still a child, too young to know who she was as of yet and still exploring her personality - but Neytiri could see the hints of an adventurer growing in her youngest daughter.
You were a spitting image of Neytiri at that age.
Fierce, unyielding yet loving and a nurturing sister at the same time. Although she had heard Jake sigh many times on how much you reminded him of his human brother. You loved your siblings to the ends of Pandora and Eywa herself despite your relentless teasing.
Neteyam - her sweet boy - was a silent protector. Observing and supportive in his comforting silence, especially to Lo’ak, who always gravitated towards his older brother like a fly to a light.
You were more Palulukan in that sense. Aggressive and vocal in your protective stance, eyes narrowed in a hidden promise and never letting any of your siblings out of your gaze in the presence of a hostile.
As a sister, her other children saw you as someone as steady as a mountain. Never to be moved when it came to their safety. But to her, and Jake especially, you would always be their little girl.
Their first little flower in their blooming garden of love and life.
Pausing in her making of Tuk’s new clothes, Neytiri cast her eyes across their hut in the common area where you were seated, busy fletching new arrows and sharpening all your personal weapons gifted to you through the years as little Tuktirey came racing in through the entrance in a beeline towards you.
There was a graceful smoothness in the way you were quick, yet casual to carefully put the sharp objects aside and out of harm’s way of the younger Sully and she threw herself in your lap with a large, dramatic pout.
“What’s up, Tuk Tuk?” You grinned down at her, smoothing back her braids. “Thought you were helping out Kiri with the herbs?”
“I was, but then it got boring when she and grandma started talking about plants and their many uses…” there was a huff of dismay as you chuckled.
“Sissy, please play with me!”
There was an apologetic smile on your face. “I can’t, Tuk. I told you I was busy catching up with maintenance duty today. And I’m joining dad and the hunting party later.”
Tuktirey would not budge, as Neytiri prepared herself to step in and stop the whinings of her youngest child. “But sissyyyy, you’re always busy and never play with me anymore. Even Lo’ak says he doesn’t remember the last time you two hung out.”
You felt the slight guilt in you swirling at the truth in Tuk’s words. You had been awfully busy with your tasks and more involved in the daily happenings of the clan, accompanying your dad on a lot of excursions outside of the village and thus having less time to hang out with your siblings.
Neyteyam too had been quite busy with his Olo’eyktan training, and Kiri starting her own journey as a healer. That left only little Tuktirey and Lo’ak to not have their days filled with lessons, leaving them quite lonely in a usually big family.
So you made up your mind.
“How about this, Tuk Tuk. Tomorrow I’ll bring you flying for the entire day. Just us two, hm? You’ll be begging me to be on the ground again by the end of it.”
There was a delighted gasp from your baby sister. “On Atanzaw?”
You nodded.
Atanzaw was your precious Ikran, meaning forked lighting. Your taming of him had been recorded as being of the most vicious battles in the last decade, leaving you with scrapes that dripped blood and bruises lasting for several weeks, as well as a broken wrist. Compare that to Kiri’s, who had simply reached out and asked hers to become her friend and finished tsaheylu and her first flight within five minutes - it made for a hilarious story.
He was known to be quite vicious among the tamed Ikrans even after your bonding. Only ever submits to you, and is even wary of having other people touch him if you didn’t calm him enough beforehand.
Your family knew this, Tuk especially, having been warned many times to not get close to the animal when he was close to the other mounts. So for her, to be able and fly this beautiful midnight blue Ikran, with his hints of green and yellow seemed like an adventure of a lifetime.
“Okay!” With her loud confirmation, she scrambled off your lap quickly before pointing at you with a stern finger. “You have to finish all of this today, sissy, or else we won’t be able to fly tomorrow!”
You contained your amused grin, forcing your face to remain dramatically serious and straightening your spine with a salute and firm “Aye Aye, sir!”
Satisfied with your agreement, Tuk vanished back out of the hut after pecking Neytiri on the cheek in passing.
You had been so caught up in the change of exciting atmosphere that you managed to cut yourself as you had blindly reached for the knife aside and touched the sharp edge instead.
“Fuck!”
Neytiri sucked in a reprimanding hiss at the language as you smiled sheepishly at her. “Sorry, mama.”
“Come to me, ma‘ite.” (daughter)
Although slightly suspicious at the sudden request, you listened and made your way across the hut and went to sit down in front of your mother when she grabbed your bicep and pulled you down in the empty space between her legs, back against her warm chest as she grabbed your hand with the cut with a slight tut, chin hovering over your shoulders.
“Mom!” You complained in slight embarrassment at being cradled against her like a babe again, ears flickering.
“Shush now. Let me bind that for you.”
As your mom started to clean the cut and smoothly bind it, you felt yourself relaxing against her larger form. The warmth of her body felt like a comforting blanket over you as your head tilted to the side to rest against the nape of her neck and shoulder, watching as she tended to your injury.
You barely noticed the almost drowsy state of yourself and how your tail had curled around your own mother’s calf like a baby searching for its protector unconsciously, as she finished and lifted your hand up to peck the injured area softly.
“How are you, my love?” Neytiri’s voice was soft as she started stroking your hair back, cuddling closer against the side of your head.
“Hm? I’m doing good, mama.”
“Are you being honest with me?”
“Of course I am.”
“Mhm.”
“What is it?”
“I just wonder when my children started lying to me,” it was an offhand comment.
“I’m not lying?” More awakened at her sudden questions, you tilted your head up with a small frown. “Do I not seem okay to you?”
You suddenly remembered back to the time you dad had taken you with him to the science lab at the old Hell’s Gate when you had just turned ten. Almost like a rite of passage of his own making by allowing you to accompany him on Olo’eyktan duties. You had felt like you were in a new world, with Norm showing you around with a watchful eye of your dad, always reminding you to take a breath from the mask if you felt a little uncomfortable. You had replied with a swift ‘Yes papa’ when Norm had said, so daddy’s your favorite huh?
There had been confusion from your part at that time. Because you couldn’t imagine having a favorite parent, the thought of it felt..disrespectful.
Your father was the fortress that shielded this family from dangers, while your mother made up the pillars that kept the fortress standing. Your parents were intertwined in soul and body, and one without the other could not function.
It was true that a lot of your time was spent beside your dad, so some humans must have viewed you as ‘daddy’s girl.’ But your mom was always there. Either in the shadows making the darkness seem less intimidating, or as a gentle reminder in your heart.
This was one of these moments. Where she was observing you without you knowing, seeing all the faults and hurts that could affect you that you hadn’t even imagined about.
“You know if all these excursions with your dad are getting too much, you are allowed to take a break from them.”
“What makes you think I need a break?”
Neytiri simply hummed, not ceasing in her loving caress of your long braids, nearly forcing you to relax against her again. “Your siblings miss you, ma ‘ite. I understand your dedication to learning the ways of our people and supporting your father’s Olo’eyktan duties. But you are still young, even if you’ve succeeded in your Iknimaya and Uniltaron, sixteen is not an adult just yet.”
You were the only of your siblings to complete all of the rites of the Omatikaya successfully without fail, Neteyam, Kiri, and Lo’ak having only passed their Iknimaya’s and still preparing for the dream hunt.
The first face you had seen after waking up from your own dream hunt had been your dad’s. Eyes shining with tears and pride were painted across every inch of his expression as he pulled you into his arms, your mom standing just behind him with a tearful face herself.
“And sometimes I miss my own ‘itetsyìp.” (little daughter)
“She’s still here…” you murmured softly, staring at how much larger your mother’s body seemed cocooned around you.
“Oh my love, but you are not,” your mom’s voice had remained soothing and low as if she didn’t want to scare you away with the truth. “You may not have noticed, but you have isolated yourself away from us. Spending more time with the clan, trying your best to protect your siblings, and making sure there are no possible threatening outcomes. Do you know how I know?”
Your silence prompted her to continue.
“You are exactly like your father after the war. He was so busy doing his best in keeping us safe that for a time he forgot to live.”
“...And what did you do?”
“I knocked him upside down on his head and demanded him to wake up,” Neytiri said firmly, a smile slowly forming at the giggle you released.
“So I am telling you the same right now. You must remember to live, my sweet. Or else I fear your view of Eywa’s path will become obscured with time.”
There was a lump in your throat that you tried to swallow, although you couldn’t stop the harsh breath you took to keep back your tears as your mom’s arms tightened around you.
“I’m sorry, mama. I didn’t realize.”
“You are parts of my very heart,” Neytiri whispered, lips hovering above your head as a loving reminder of her presence, now and in the coming days. A staple in your life that would shield all that she could without hesitance.
“I will protect you to the very ends of time even if it is from yourself.”
Nuzzling further into her, you let an wavering smile grace your face as you replied just as quietly. “I know. Oel ngati kameie, sa’nu.” (I see you, mom)
”Nga yawne lu oer, ma’ite.” (I love you/ You are beloved to me, daughter)

She was your everything, quite literally after losing your brother and family in RDA attacks, she became your whole world, everyone knew about you and Neytiri, she was like nectar while you followed her like a bee, childhood friendship turned into love, who didn't want that?
Mo’at took the initiative of taking you in, being the mother you lost, your life was nearly perfect, a family, a loving partner, a place to live, good food, a life filled with love and affection all until a certain uniltiranyu was brought into your clan with your soon-to-be mate by his side.
»»————- 𑁍 ————-««
You were waiting for the right time to mate, as said by mo'at the time hadn't come yet, but still your heart yearned for the day to come soon.
The vrrtep that has taken a place in your clan, never failed to irritate you, more so since it was sign from the great mother for him to stay and for Neytiri to be the one who train him, your fears grew though, with each passing day as they trained you’d see from afar how they behaved together, the practices were getting suspiciously touchy even when not needed.
His little tricks, his constant smile, he always had a hand touching her, her hair… hand… shoulder and it didn't go unnoticed by you.
The communal dinners were the same, while you sat with Mo’at and Eytukan, Neytiri was immersed in a conversation with Jake about practice they had earlier with a radiant smile on her face that you hadn’t seen in weeks since he came into her life, she seemed distant as days passed by… and you were terrified but you trusted her… right?
Mo'at saw the look in your eyes, seeing her daughter with a demon they despised was something the tsahik didn't like herself but even more when she saw the daughter she took under her wing looking at her soon-to-be mate with someone else pained her more.
“Ma ite, everything would be alright, the great mother would not disappoint you, my child, she has a path for everyone…”
Mo'at whispered in your ear as she smiled and placed a hand on your shoulder before cupping your face in her palm.
“Do not be afraid to ask your questions, ask them before it's too late” mo'at knew what she was saying and so did you, you had to talk to Neytiri about this, it was the only way.
You stared at the woman who became your mother then to the one who was supposed to be yours forever and sighed as you picked and fondled at your food and nodded, lost in your thoughts, you had to talk and soon.
»»————- 𑁍 ————-««
The clan was turning back to their hammocks now, you returned to the one you shared with Neytiri since who know how long, it for good to have her back with you, at least the nights were yours, she smiled, it was genuine and you could see it, as the hammock covered you both she pulled you closer, tangling her limbs with yours.
Her golden eyes shone in the bioluminescent lights and you couldn't help but smile sheepishly as she pressed lazy kisses on your face.
“Neytiri… I wanted to speak to you.” You whispered in the middle of her kiss session and she stopped with her eyebrows furrowing, still holding you close to her “what is it, yawne?”
You took a deep breath, holding her hand tightly in yours as she laced her fingers with yours with concern on her face “Tiyawn, what is it?”
“I- what's going on between you and that uniltiranyu? I know you are training him but… it's- it's getting- i don't like it, Neytiri”
When you uttered those words, her face went unemotional, there was no love behind those golden eyes as she glared at you, as if all of it just evaporated in a second, which made you rethink your decision to ask her about him.
“Why would you think that, yawne?! He's a demon, one of them! It is just my task to make him one of the people, am I supposed to go against the great mother?! you shouldn't be thinking like that” her tone was cold on some level which didn't sit right with you.
Your heart dropped, this wasn't the reaction you were expecting and you shook your head in a hurry, this wasn't what you meant!
“No- No! Neytiri… this was not what I meant… I was just- um nothing, leave it, I don't want to fight, I'm sorry, i shouldn't have brought it up” you whispered as you her tail was firm behind her, her ears perked up alert.
She scoffed, rolling her eyes as she simply held your hand and closed her eyes, turning away from you to sleep on her back, which made a pang of guilt wash over your heart.
“If you knew me, you wouldn't have said that, Y/n, go to sleep” She whispered as if there wasn't anything else to say and turned around, her back facing you, you've slept this way when you little spooned her but this time it felt different, it was on purpose.
Sleep didn't come easily to you that night while you thought about what he said, you really shouldn't have asked that, of course she's mad, you questioned her loyalty to you? Idiot.
But the thoughts still lingered in the back of your mind, the what ifs were eating you inside out but you pushed them aside and went with it, she loved you, she'd never do something like that.
»»————- 𑁍 ————-««
Days passed by and the regular smiles turned into frequent laughs with him, moments together with her were becoming sparse, as if you were just a person who merely entered her life and went away at her expense.
Soon the day of Iknimaya came as you rode your ikran around the floating mountains and landed next to Neytiri while she was behind Jake… her hand on his chest as she Whispered instructions to him, was it necessary to place her hand there?
Still you let it be and focused on the fight that was about to occur between Jake and his chosen Ikran, it was intense as he was nearly thrown over the cliff twice but he managed it somehow and took the first flight which you and Neytiri joined him on.
Only one thing was left now… the ceremony, which would occur tonight and for once you didn't want Neytiri to be with him, it was done, her job was completed, she didn't need to be with him now, or that's what you thought.
»»————- 𑁍 ————-««
The ceremony was one of the crucial rituals of omaticaya to become one of them, as for once, a uniltiranyu has become one of them, you were happy with his accomplishments but for now you attention was on Neytiri as the Night was young and alive, you thought it was the perfect time to take her to the tree of Souls.
Neytiri was near the fire circle, chatting with someone until you pulled her aside with a bright smile on your face “Yawne… let us go to the Vitrautral… I have something to tell you” you whispered excitedly holding her hands tightly… but this time she didn't lace them together.
“Do we have to…? Right now? Paskalin… let's not, it's Jake's celebration, he would not like it, we can go… tomorrow!” She said with an unnatural enthusiasm which left you puzzled.
“T- Tomorrow? But it's a beautiful night, let us go right now!” you said as you tugged on her hand but she held back.
“Don't you understand? I don't want to go right now?!” She snapped and you were taken aback, the enthusiasm completely gone as she slid her hands away from yours “you can go rest, I'll come after you”
»»————- 𑁍 ————-««
Those were her last words, she never came to your hammock that night and heart filled with the worst scenarios, but what if she just wanted a break today? She has spent many nights like this when she wants to be alone, maybe it's one of those? But you knew it was different, everything was different and you didn't want to think about the other possibilities…
❝Now I have to
Remember you,
For longer than I
Have known you❞
— c.c.aurel
The dawn of that day was the darkest moment of your life…
»»————- 𑁍 ————-««
The commotion in the main area woke you up, the gasps and murmurs filled the tense air, the whispers grew louder when they saw you walk in through the crowd before you heard Tsu'tey grunt and snarl at Jake “You MATED with this woman?!” And your heart dropped as you saw Jake and Neytiri standing between the circle- hand in hand.
“Neytiri…” Your whisper was louder than any scream that she could have heard, the sight in front of you broke your heart like never before, you trusted her…
She looked away, not daring to look at your way, your face, the whole clan was quite watching with bated breaths, mo'at closed her eyes Whispering a prayer to eywa to give you the strength to face this.
You walked forward to her but Jake got in between “Look, Y/n, I'm sorry… I know this was an ass-” but your growl made him shut his mouth as you brandished your knife to his neck and he backed off with his hands in the air “you stay out of this Sulli! Do not talk or-”
Your sentence was cut off when Neytiri tackled you to the ground and snarled and hissed in your face, fury ebbed in her eyes as she pressed her own knife to your throat.
You couldn't care less as you looked into her with all the sincere love you had for her “so this is what I shouldn't have worried for? That you'd “never” do this to me? Why lie Neytiri? Why LIE?!”
You pushed her back with your strength as she was left speechless, the flowers from her hair falling out, you got up ready to fight before Tsu'tey gripped you from behind and held back as for the first time, tears streamed down your flushed azure cheeks, tail swishing behind you tensely.
Neytiri on the other hand looked at the ground in shame, Jake placed a hand on her shoulder in some sort of comfort before she spoke “Y/n… I shouldn't have done that… I know and I still did and will do it again for him because… I'm sorry- I- I don't love you.. anymore” her voice was hushed at the end but the words were enough to cut your heart in half.
Mo'at could watch it as she looked at her daughter in disappointment and then at Jake in anger as she stood beside you “Neytiri, you have done wrong, to our clan and Y/n, your illicit affairs shall be taken care of later”
Her voice was cold and Neytiri was in shock, her mother never called her by her name, always some sort of a nickname but also Neytiri knew she did wrong.
There was no point in standing there as Mo'at and Eytukan took you aside as your sobs were unstoppable while Tsu'tey argued with Jake and Neytiri about something.
You've never felt pain like this, you always saw her as your mate, your dear mate who could do no wrong in your eyes but you were too blind to see the signs.
Now it was all you could do, wallow in the pain of your heart that broke down piece by piece as the one you saw your mate turned your whole world upside down, if this was the path eywa chose for you, then you despise her for it.

“You are very loud.”
You heard this after placing a few fruits in your new bag. You found Neytiri up on a branch, looking down at you with a semi-annoyed and semi-light expression.
“I didn’t even say anything.” You frowned, turning to walk back to the compound.
Neytiri jumped down from the branch—surprisingly not making a sound—and followed you. “You did not have to.”
She then came up next to you and kicked your ankle.
“Ow.”
“You walk loud. Attracting creatures to you.” Neytiri pointed at your feet—or rather your shoes. “If you keep going into the forest then you must be quiet. With your feet and body.”
Your brows raised at this, “Really? Hmm. I’ll try to remember that.” Perhaps you would start walking through the forest with no shoes on, they were a bother anyway. You won’t miss it too much. Plus, being barefoot wasn’t all that much of a difference. Back on Earth, you would’ve loved to walk around the world with just your feet. But with everything dying and sick, you always kept yourself protected. Earth wasn’t much of a safe place anymore.
Much less a home.
While your mind whirred on with different ideas and plans for your garden and future attempts at foraging, you continued your way back to the compound, still with Neytiri following after you, noticeably a lot quieter in her step than you were. You cringed.
Maybe she did have a point about that after all.
You glanced over your shoulder at her and frowned, “Was that all you came for, or is there a point to this visit?”
Her ears fluttered, “I check to see if you are not making a mess.”
You huffed, “Gee, thanks.”
As the compound finally came into view, Neytiri ran ahead of you toward your mushrooms’ new spot. On her back, you noticed was a sling of sorts, and sitting in it was a baby.
Usually, you didn’t pay too much attention to babies—but this one was particularly familiar. It was a bit foggy, but you were sure you remembered him sleeping in that very sling before. And someone else was holding him at the time.
Only this time, the baby stared right back at you when your eyes met his yellow ones.
Cautiously, you stood next to Neytiri who was busily crouched down to examine your mushrooms. The baby had yet to stop staring at you.
You shuffled, hugging your tablet to your chest, “That baby yours?”
At the question, Neytiri looked up at you and then at the baby she carried, a free gentle smile tugging at her lips upon looking at him. “Yes. His name is Neteyam.”
You nodded and the baby, Neteyam, smiled at his mother and then looked back at you with the same curious yet innocent eyes. “Hello, Neteyam.”
Of course, he probably didn’t understand you—but it would’ve been awkward for you not to acknowledge him—especially with him staring straight at you at all times. But then again, you didn’t know whether or not the natives wanted you to interact with their younglings, so greeting him shortly and as politely as you could was the best option.
Indulge them—like you would any other human baby a parent forced you to acknowledge back on Earth. Sometimes even that wasn’t enough for them. They would keep pestering and cooing at you to hold them, even though you’d express very clearly that you were not comfortable holding one.
A pureness like that didn’t belong in hands like yours.
Instead of pestering you, Neytiri eyed you for a moment, like she expected something, before turning her attention back to the mushrooms. “Your crops are good. Take great care of them and they will grow well for you.”
“It’s only been a couple of days since I moved it. But yeah, you’re right. They’ve definitely gotten better. Thank you again.”
It was your turn to examine her now. Neytiri didn’t look much older than you—or maybe you were older, you couldn’t tell. One thing you did know was that you were sure that she didn’t like you before—well, your species. Same as that clan leader, Tsu’tey. Now, you wondered why she was willingly helping you with the garden.
Now, you were wondering if this was related to the first time you met her. The very first time.
When she watched you nearly die.
Your eyes glanced toward Neteyam again, who was snuggled into his mother’s chest, eyes drooping close. Honestly, you were surprised at how calm he was. Hadn’t made a peep or a cry once. In the back of your mind—the scientist part of you wondered if all Na’vi babies were like that.
Eventually, you moved away from the mushrooms, adjusting your bag of fruits you nearly forgotten. “I’ll harvest the fruits later today, um, first I’m heading to my mother’s burial.” You then frowned, remembering Tsu’tey’s warning—although mirky. You can’t forget the way his scowl seared into your skull, tattooing itself onto your mind. “Would that cause any problems?”
“No.” Neytiri adjusted the sling careful not to disturb the nearly asleep Neteyam. “But I will go with you. You are still too loud.”
You rolled your eyes but didn’t bother to protest.
Mixed with exhaustion and spending most of your day foraging, you didn’t have the energy to fight her about it. Besides, last time she was with you, it wasn’t too bad. Better than her than random warriors watching you with severe gazes. Like you were about to attack them and not the other way around.
You weren’t entirely sure what to do about her son. Even though he was near asleep, you supposed you’d possibly get used to his presence as time rolled on.
Judging from your memory, it took a few minutes for you to find your mother’s burial. It was a good long way away from Hell’s Gate, that you definitely remembered. Mostly because you were counting the time in how much oxygen you had left in your mask.
When you found the familiar lump in the ground and the flowers surrounding it, you quietly sat down in front of it while taking your mother’s songcord from around your right wrist and holding it in your hands The size looked different in your blue palms compared to your human ones.
Neytiri sat down a couple of feet away from you, cradling the sling and Neteyam in her arms, humming a gentle tune to the infant. You found yourself watching the two in a faraway daze until you noticed a beaded necklace attached to Neytiri’s waist.
You nodded to it, “Do you have a songcord?”
She looked at you and nodded, “For my son. And another for my mates.”
You nodded, slightly intrigued. “I didn’t know Na’vi weren’t monogamous.”
There were some aspects you knew of the Na’vi—you weren’t totally in the dark about some things. Like the mates part. You weren’t entirely informed about it, but all you did know was that mating was common among them. Joan’s videos mentioned it once and didn’t go into too much detail. Not even researchers understand most of it.
So you couldn’t help but ask, “Do you guys often have more than one mate?” Neytiri’s ears flicked, a reluctant look on her face. You frowned at this, “You don’t have to tell me—”
She shook her head, “The Great Mother will give us one and sometimes more. She decides. And we listen.”
The Eywa bit was still a bit confusing to you—but you weren’t going to touch on that quite yet—perhaps that would be something else that could distract you later on.
Instead, you focused on her songcord, “How do you make those?”
Neteyam squirmed in the sling, his little tail swishing against Neytiri’s stomach. She caressed the side of his head to calm him, “You must understand our way before you make one.”
“I doubt your people would like that.” You scoffed as you tied your mother’s songcord back onto your wrist—this time the left. “Much less that Tsu’tey.”
“He is protective of us. Of his people.” Neytiri defended with a frown. “He is our Olo’eyktan, I do not fault him for being that way. And you are an outsider. You should not be here.”
You hummed, “So I’ve heard.”
Neytiri stared at you. And you stared back until you dropped your gaze back down to the songcord.
Somewhere in the back of your mind, you were aware of your tail moving behind you. Swishing back and forth against the forest floor. Neteyam giggled and Neytiri, speaking in her native tongue, spoke to the infant in such adoration, that it was almost startling to you.
Your ears twitched toward them.
Surprisingly, the baby’s sounds were somewhat comforting. Easing the tenseness in your muscles.
Neytiri then spoke after a long pause, “What would your songcord say? If you make one. If I taught you how.”
You thought about it for a moment before shaking your head, “You said they’re for remembering, right? To be honest, it’d be too sad.”
Neytiri’s frown deepened which confused you, “Life is not one moment. Your—grief for your mother is forever but life does not stop moving.”
You winced. And she was staring at you again—god, she did that a lot. Her intense gaze drilled into the side of your head but you instead focused on the flowers surrounding your mother’s burial. Vibrant, just as your mother was.
“She was all I had.” You mumbled numbly while glaring at the lump in the ground. “How can something that was so permanent in your life suddenly be gone? How can you move on from that?”
Neytiri’s tail lashed behind her, “I never said you do. It is just the way of life.”
“Well, life’s shit.”
Surprisingly, Neytiri smiled. This time it was directed toward you. “You sound like Jake.”
“Hmm, he sounds somewhat smart then.”
Neytiri noticed you did not smile even when you made the joke.
You gently ran your fingers along the lump and soil of the ground. And for a moment, it was just you and your mother. Never mind that Neytiri was there with you, never mind the strange new world you were now trapped in. Right now, it was just the both of you.
“I’ve always wanted to come to Pandora.” You said to no one in particular. “With her. It was our dream. Then she went without me and….now I’m here. In the place of my dreams, the place I’ve always daydreamed about since I was a child—and I still can’t move. I feel so heavy. Even when I get up, even when I distract my scorpion-filled mind, I still feel like going back to bed and staying there until the world forgets about me.” You snorted bitterly, clutching the soil between your fingers. “Instead, I would rather be the shadow of my mother’s tombstone instead of going forward. How sad is that?”
And then there was the exhaustion. This heavyweight kept you rooted to the ground, even when you wanted to fly away into the clouds. The ground would swallow you whole instead.
“It is sad,” Neytiri spoke up, drawing you a bit out of your drowning thoughts. Even then you still felt like you were underwater. Like it was endless. Her voice was almost a muffled sound barely reaching your water-filled ears. “Being sad is okay. There is no need to hide it or ignore it. It is the way we are. We have loss. That is a very unfortunate truth for all of us.”
You made an absent sound of agreement, gaze never leaving the burial. Still not entirely there. Still not entirely human yet. “I still wonder if it’s worth it, you know? The loneliness—it’s the loneliness, I can’t take it sometimes…”
Something in your eyes ached, your throat feeling tight until you finally caught yourself. You glanced toward Neytiri who was—as expected—still watching you. This time with a familiar look in her eyes. Understanding and something else. Something you despised.
You felt stupid then.
Opening up to a stranger. Asking for pity from someone who probably went through a lot worse than you? Neytiri—as far as your knowledge of the war a year ago went—had lost her people and home. Who were you to even ask for her sympathy? For her pity?
It was so pathetic.
With that, you straightened your back and turned your gaze away from her, your walls slowly building themselves back up out of obsessive protection. “Sorry. I shouldn’t have said all that.” You got to your feet, pissed at yourself, still avoiding Neytiri’s look.
Something about this area.
It always left you too vulnerable.
“I should go harvest some of the plants now…” You gave a jerkish nod to Neytiri. “I’ll see you around.”
You didn’t wait for a response as you began your journey back to the compound.
Tumblr media
Neytiri returned to the village, deciding to keep today’s events to herself.
It wasn’t something to speak about yet. Not to Jake. Not to Tsu’tey.
Not yet.
“There you are.” Jake smiled toward her and Neteyam in greeting as she entered their shared hut. Neteyam instantly reached for him and Jake took the little one in his arms, face alight with warmth and love as he held his son close to him.
Neytiri found herself smiling in relief and adoration at the sight as she took a seat on the floor. There was a sense of comfort and ease whenever she came back home to her mates and child. Even with today’s events, she felt her tense muscles relax a bit just as in this simple scene. At Jake’s love for their child. For their firstborn.
“Where did you take him this time?” Jake asked, looking up at her with the same adoration.
“To the Sky Person. She has a false body now.” Neytiri responded honestly, putting her bow down. She noticed her songcord tied to her loincloth and stared at it in particular.
A surprised look crossed his face, “You went to see her?”
She frowned in confusion at his reaction, “Yes.”
“And?” Jake watched her reaction curiously.
Neytiri noticed this and she, for a moment, while watching her son tug at one of Jake’s locks, considered her words carefully.
“It is sad. Very sad, Ma’Jake.” And that was all she offered. Jake just looked at her, the comfortable smile now gone and instead replaced with a contemplative frown. She then leaned toward him curiously, “What do you think of her? You were like her once. You understand their emotions and their way of expression better than most.”
Jake’s ears twitched and moved his gaze down. It wasn’t avoidant but thoughtful as she spoke, “Besides the obvious, she found out her mother just died, so there’s not much mystery to her reactions there. I understand it…and I, well, I didn’t exactly do a great job at empathizing before. If anything, I probably only made things worse when it came to her.” He winced as if he were remembering something—an expression that had become very common these days when it came to him. “Other than that, I can’t get a read on her. And I don’t know if that’s unsettling or not.”
“She is much easier to read in her false body,” Neytiri added thoughtfully, patting down a rebellious strand of hair on her son’s head, watching him nuzzle himself into his father’s chest. “Perhaps you should talk to her as well—my mother seems to believe her and Eywa, she has favored her for a reason. I want to understand why.”
He snorted, “I don’t know if we should even be left in a room alone together.”
“Why’s that?”
“I don’t know. One of us might kill each other.”
Neytiri gave him a look at his joke, “Then I would come to make sure you both behave.”
“I don’t know if behaving is the problem.”
Before Neytiri could question his comment, their attention immediately snapped to the two figures now entering their hut. Tsu’tey being one of them with a relaxed smile on his face as he greeted them, “Ma yawne!” He approached Neytiri first, wrapping her in his arms from behind, one hand resting on her stomach. “How is our little one?”
Tsu’tey also seemed more relieved and at ease as soon as he entered their shared home. It was like a safe place for them. Away from clan duties, away from the Sky People, away from the world entirely.
She smiled, leaning further into his hold, “Strong, like his Papa.”
“Good, good.” He held her and her stomach a while longer before moving toward Jake and Neteyam.
Glancing over her shoulder, Neytiri frowned when she saw Artsut standing at the entryway of their hut—looking disapproving as usual. And with that, Neytiri took to ignoring her, turning her attention back to her mates. Focusing on her comfort.
Tsu’tey was now holding Neteyam while Jake gently squeezed the former’s spot between his neck and shoulder—the very rare physical affection that he would only show around herself and Tsu’tey. Another strong difference between the Sky People and her people. They weren’t as carefree with affection as her people were. Just another way of reserving their emotions that Neytiri didn’t quite understand.
Silently, Neytiri decided that this was too good of a moment to ruin. That the Sky Person who could not smile would have to wait for now. She decided this, even though she could not stop thinking about you.
But of course, Artsut could not let things simply be.
“The time to find your last mate is nearing.” Artsut huffed, nose turned upward. She stared down at the small family as if they were a small bug she could step on. “There will be no more time wasted on this, son. It is time to begin choosing.”
Jake’s jaw tightened. Tsu’tey sighed. And Neytiri continued ignoring her.
“We’ve just had Neteyam and have another on the way,” Tsu’tey responded patiently, pressing a gentle kiss to their son’s head. “Let us be grateful for this. There is no rush—”
“I will not be at rest until you are fully accepted by Eywa—”
“And how do you know we aren’t?” Tsu’tey’s voice was calm. Dangerously so. Neytiri could see he was seconds away from snapping. With his duties as Olo’eyktan and now his mother’s constant badgering on a knowingly sensitive subject was just about it.
Artsut hissed, “How do you know that you are? Considering you’re mated with a demon, it barely makes up for—”
“Mother, I warn you.” Tsu’tey snapped his eyes glaring over Neytiri’s head at the older woman.
But she continued with venom practically dripping from her tongue. “I want a true grandson of our blood! I will not accept any more of your half-breeds—”
“That’s enough!” Jake hissed as he shot to his feet before Neytiri could stop him—face roaring with vibrant rage. Jake wasn’t an expressive man. So him losing his resolve so quickly at that, was quite startling whenever it did happen.
Neytiri stood, grabbing his arm to try and calm him. They should not allow this woman to get to them. She was already used to the older woman’s attitude toward herself and her mother. So, Neytiri was all too familiar with how poisonous she was. How vicious her words could get. Even against her own sons, Arvok specifically.
Now Artsut was angered, hissing at Jake—looking extremely similar to Tsu’tey just then. “Will you allow this, son!? The Demon speaks this way to your own mother and you won’t—”
“Neytiri.” At the call of her name, she turned to find Tsu’tey now on his feet as well, offering Neteyam to her. She took her son in her arms as he turned and stalked toward his mother, “Outside. Now.”
Tsu’tey had always been a severe man. But always particularly patient with his mother. Usually, Artsut would listen to him—because he was her golden child—but these days she has been way too on edge. Way too reckless with her words.
Once they were gone, Neytiri guided Jake to sit back on the floor. Squeezing his arm gently while rocking Neteyam in her arms. “Do not let her words get to you, Ma’Jake. She will always be like this, she will never change. We must learn to keep the peace on our side, out of respect for our mate.”
Jake’s ears were pinned to the sides of his head, letting out a breath of anger and exhaustion. “How can she expect us to find another mate with her in the picture? I almost don’t want another one because of that woman.”
Neytiri shook her head, smiling sadly. “We cannot deny our duties, ma tiyawn. All we can do is pray the Great Mother sends us someone who is strong. Who will not let Artsut’s poison sink into their skin.”

The next day came. In your human form, you followed Norm to the amino tank room. The last time you had been here was when you met up with Jake—a bitter memory you wished was as muffled as your meeting with Mo’at.
You just couldn’t find yourself wanting to go back to that night. To all of it. It was bad enough that some of their words still stuck with you.
A lost cause.
She’ll be out of the way.
Demon.
As usual, you shook off these memories or thoughts and kept going.
Apparently, Norm often performed weekly check-ups on the unused avatars. Making sure they were still healthy and taken care of with no complications because even if they happened to be unused, they still needed tending to.
“Why not just get rid of them?” You questioned as you studied the stats of one of the avatars. This one had an ugly jagged scar across his face. “Most of these won’t be used anyway. It could save a lot of resources.”
“It would be a waste of resources and money actually if we did get rid of them” Norm frowned from across the room, not looking up from his own tablet. “At the end of the day, they’re still a living being. We can’t just kill them. It’s—it’s inhumane.”
You didn’t have a good response to that so you moved on to the next avatar. Which you recognized as the one that belonged to the late Dr. Augustine. It was a bit morbid, actually. Staring at a comatose avatar with the face belonging to someone who was dead.
You desperately hoped your mother’s wasn’t here. F it was, if you discovered it first before Norm, you’d burn it yourself.
“How are you doing today?” Norm suddenly asked. “Any progress on the garden?”
You didn’t look up from your tablet as you responded simply, “The mushrooms are growing well enough. Neytiri gave me some advice and it’s helped a lot. Just taking it day by day. The progress is being watched closely.”
After a pause, Norm nodded, “Good. That’s good—you know, I’m tryna work on my empathy. We scientists often get too caught up in the work to stop and consider human feelings. Believe it or not, I was a lot more insensitive a year ago.”
“Really.” You deadpanned, completely uninterested in where the conversation was going. Carefully, you examined Augustine’s body, which was as expected in perfect condition. There was something about the stomach though—
“It’s true!” Norm continued as if he hadn’t heard your complete uninterest. “I was absolutely awful before. I couldn’t stand Jake at first because of it. It’s honestly a wonder that Trudy—uh…” You glanced up briefly when he suddenly faltered. There was a familiar look on his face. Somber and grim. “—it’s a wonder anyone would have gone for me. Would’ve liked me despite all of that, you know? Those people are a rare find. Like a jewel.”
For a moment, you watched him quietly and frowned. Norm didn’t meet your eyes as he moved toward another tank with his back now turned to you.
After finishing up on Augustine’s avatar, you moved to another tank as well.
A beat went by before you added, “You’re fine, Norm. Thanks for asking.”
At that, Norm turned to you with a startled surprise, “Really? Wow, I half expected a sarcastic comment. S’nice that I’m wrong though.”
You shrugged, “You were probably the only one here that wasn’t against me, which was nice of you. You didn’t have to do it but you did. Even if I was mildly difficult.”
“Mildly difficult isn’t how I would put it.” Norm chuckled a bit.
“Fine. Maybe an asshole.”
Norm laughed, which was a light little sound in the quiet room. “No, you are an asshole, just not for your reaction to everything.”
“Ah, well, I feel a lot better then.”
Neytiri didn’t come back until a week later when your first mushroom started to show.
You were relieved for the progress and how well they were doing. So much so, that you couldn’t help but want to pick more of Neytiri’s brain. Learning from an actual native was infinitely a lot better than looking at a book—although it was a good foundation—it didn’t beat the real thing.
So when she came out of the forest with her bow in hand as usual—and no Neteyam in sight this time around—your brain was already buzzing with more questions for her, your tail swishing a little behind you.
“This is good.” She nodded, careful not to step on your crops. “Have you planted more?”
You nodded, oblivious to her watching your tail both curiously and intently as it continued swishing against your leg. “Yes, all of them are situated so that the sun is directly on them when it comes out and when it sets—but what do you guys do if it rains? Any coverings I need to know of?”
She nodded, “Yes. After I tell you, I want to show you something in the forest.”
With a frown, you watched as she began examining some of the fruits carefully, her nose scrunching every now and then. “What is it though?”
The scowl she sent you was surprising and you half expected her to hiss an insult at you. Instead, she said, “I won’t tell you now. You will know when I take you. Now be quiet and listen.”
You watched her in surprise, trying to figure out what it was that she wanted to show you. Or why she wanted to lead you into the forest alone. A stupid part of you thought she was probably going to lead you into a trap and kill you—solve the stain on their land by her own hand.
But the more sensible part of you just did as you were told and crouched down next to Neytiri as she began explaining some ways to continue nourishing the mushrooms while also covering them from changing weather without causing any unnecessary damage to the forest.
She also helped with planting a few more seeds that you had left. Physically adjusting and guiding your hands whenever you patted the soil to cover the seed or when you were a little too rough with the plants.
Gardening in itself was relaxing, you had never known that to be true until you had done it with Neytiri. Sure, you took care of a forest that sometimes required a lot of replanting for trees and different plants, but you were never physically out there yourself. You were always surrounded by screens and giving orders from a lab, wearing long white coats and goggles—you weren’t really ever among nature. Not really.
When you first started redoing the garden, it was just a task to keep you distracted. To keep your body busy and moving instead of stiff and motionless.
But now? Well, you weren’t entirely sure what this feeling was yet. All you did know was that you wanted to keep doing this. And that it didn’t seem like much of a hassle anymore. But instead, something you actually looked forward to.
Plus, you were strangely getting used to Neytiri’s presence. Or more like expecting her in your somewhat structured schedule.
You were grateful for her help the past couple of weeks, even if there was still a small question resting in the back of your mind. Left unanswered for now.
Once the two of you were finished, Neytiri led you away from the compound and into the forest. Halfway through the journey, you started watching her movements, noticing how different they were compared to your stiffness. She was fluid, her steps quiet along the forest floor, against the tree barks you stepped over, and in the small creeks, her feet splashed through. Almost like she was one with the forest.
Then there was you. You looked down at your own feet, remembering how she said you had been too loud trudging through the forest on your own. And that it could draw some unwanted attention your way if you weren’t careful.
So you stopped short and decided to feed your scientist brain as you took off your shoes, leaving your blue feet bare to the forest, similar to Neytiri. You then looked up, watching Neytiri move as she continued forward. Quietly, you began mimicking her movements as you followed her. Not perfectly of course, but enough for her to hear a shift in your step causing her to glance back at you with a furrow in her brow.
When you were younger, you had made a game out of it, out of sheer boredom. Your mother had been rushing around her lab working—too busy to give you attention. And you, to keep yourself preoccupied would mimicked her movements whenever she walked around the lab. You’d follow her for hours without her knowing—mostly because your mother was one of those people who could be easily snuck up on—until one day she did and laughed at your antics.
“Well look at that!” Joan would grin. “I have my very own shadow now. I’ve always wanted one, but I didn’t expect her to be so small!”
“I’m not that small!” You would whine.
You stopped short after climbing over a fallen large tree, Neytiri was already on the other side of it, watching you carefully. When you landed next to her, she poked your legs with her bow, “Still too loud.”
“Well, it is my first day after all.” You half-joked, trying not to pant in front of her to show your lack of athletic ability.
Her ears flicked but she didn’t say anything more on it. She continued forward, still glancing back at you from time to time as you followed and continued mimicking her the best you could.
It wasn’t until you recognized some of the trail did you realized where she was leading you. Too distracted by your own antics, you hadn’t stopped to realize or wonder why Neytiri was leading you to your mother’s burial. Before you could ask, the burial finally came into view.
And you stopped, the words falling back down your throat, your mind going blank.
Surrounding your mother’s grave were a bunch of new beautiful flowers. Not only that but a bunch of atokirina were floating around it. There was something heavenly and pure about the scene, something so moving, something so vulnerable—
Neytiri waited at your side, her eyes glittered with delight as she watched your dumbfounded expression.
“What is all of this?” You finally asked, inching closer to the burial. You almost didn’t want to get too close, afraid you’d ruin whatever was going on around it.
Smiling, Neytiri grabbed your arm and guided you down to sit. One of the atokirina floated its way toward the two of you. It didn’t land on you as you expected, instead, it just floated there. As if it was meant for the both of you.
Finally, Neytiri spoke, “I had discovered it the day before. It had a lot more atokirina here but it seems some of them had stayed long enough for you to see it. It was like she had wanted me to bring you here, just so you could see the Great Mother’s work.”
“Eywa?” You raised your brows curiously, looking from the atokirina to Neytiri, “What work did she do exactly?”
The dandelion-looking weed floated toward Neytiri, who had her palm open for it to land. It grazed her palm before floating off. “When I asked the Tsahik she said it meant that your mother now rests with Eywa
Even if you weren’t entirely familiar with their deity, you knew enough about spirituality and religion to understand what exactly Neytiri meant.
And you were speechless—no unsure of your words. What was the proper response to something like this? Should you be happy? Should you be sad? It seemed that Neytiri believed it was a good thing your mother was accepted by this Eywa.
At the end of the day, your mother was still gone but this was—nice. Sad but nice. Like a funeral should be. Like her funeral should’ve been.
In the corner of your eye, Neytiri ducked her head down a bit to get a better look at your reaction, “Do you not like it?”
“I do—yeah.” You assured with a nod, your tail swishing back and forth. “It’s—it’s a lot better than our idea of a funeral, I guess.”
“You Sky People—you do not have burials like this.” It was more of a statement than a question as Neytiri spoke. She looked back at the burial with a small frown, “Ma’Jake told me this, that his people burn their bodies when they have passed.”
You nodded grimly, gaze cast down to look at your mother’s songcord that was still wrapped around your wrist. “Pretty much, yeah.”
“Your way is cold. Your people are cold.”
Again you nodded, “Yeah, we are.”
Neytiri then shook her head, “You are not cold.”
You had no response to that. Instead, you thumbed the beads on the songcord, “This seems like a bead-worthy moment. This burial.”
“Yes. It can be.”
After another long pause, you finally looked at Neytiri. Really looked at her. The question burning at the forefront of your mind.
“You put the mask back on me, didn’t you? When I first arrived. When you killed DeVoe.” You frowned. “You had no reason to save me. I am just another Sky Person to you, so why?”
Neytiri’s ears fluttered, “Why save you?”
“Yeah. Why save me?”
She frowned and stared at your mother’s grave thoughtfully.
“Your spirit is different. I could not kill such a thing, not when Eywa herself had chosen it.”
You hummed, “Huh, that clears things up.”
“You do not believe me?” Neytiri frowned at your reaction, clearly not used to your deadpan sarcasm.
A part of you was amused at that, “No, I believe you.” With that, you stood, stretching your limps. Wiggling your toes on the soft forest floor. “But thank you again. You didn’t have to show me this but you did, for whatever reason.” You dusted off your shorts, “And here I thought you hated me.”
Neytiri stood as well, grabbing her bow from off the ground as she did, “I do not like your people. But I do not hate you—I feel nothing for you.”
“Is…that a good thing?”
She blinked, “I have not killed you yet. So, yes.”
Your ears twitched upward, just slightly, “Good to know.”
You returned to the compound alone later that day, feeling just a little less heavy than before.
Tumblr media
Neytiri could not stop thinking about your face. She began to wonder if you ever smiled. What would it look like?
Tumblr media
Norm and you were back in the tank room the next day. Norm was mumbling about preparing for the week ahead and something about cleaning up one of the bio labs after a spill—you didn’t listen entirely to know why or how there was a spill.
But you didn’t mind it by now. Nearly a month here and you had a lot to do. Anything to keep you away from your bedroom for a while. Anything to just keep moving.
So if that meant listening to Norm’s rambles every other week, you were fine with that.
“I’m gonna be surrounded by a bunch of Na’vi kids this upcoming week.” He informed from the tank next to you. “I could use the extra help—”
“Kids aren’t really my forte.” You mumbled, moving toward Augustine’s avatar. “Plus, I got to watch my garden. My mushrooms are finally getting somewhere thanks to Neytiri—I don’t want to risk leaving them unwatched. Even if it is for a couple of hours.”
“Ah,” Norm hummed, looking up at you with both an impressed and amused smirk. “that’s right, Neytiri has been coming around a lot. Usually, she’d only come if Jake were here—and those days are rare themself.”
“So you understand my reasoning.” You nodded, briefly looking up at him. “I can’t miss a day over here. For both my garden and the fact that I don’t particularly feel like angering someone who could tear my head off if she wanted to.”
Norm snorted, “Yeah, maybe you’re right. Plus, I have a feeling the kids’ll be too scared of your intense mug. Avatar and human.”
You gave him a look, “Sure, and I’m the asshole out of the two of us.”
“Oh, you definitely are.”
Norm laughed while you turned your attention back to Augustine’s avatar. Only, you frowned when something came up on your tablet. Strange stats that you were sure you were probably reading wrong. You double-checked a couple of times, just to make sure.
Maybe you hadn’t gotten any sleep. Yes, you were hallucinating strangely detailed stats because of your lack of sleep. Yes, that was it.
That was when you got a better look at the avatar.
“Spellman.”
“Yeah?”
“Come over here.”
A few seconds later, Norm appeared next to you, “What is it?”
You gestured to Augustine’s avatar, “There’s something there, in her stomach.”
Norm took your tablet and examined it. Silent. You watched his brows furrow together then suddenly morph into unmistakable shock.
“This…this isn’t possible.”
You took the tablet from him far too confused yourself. “Does the facility own an ultrasound anywhere?”

- He’s definitely an angry yandere, getting overly irritated over the smallest of things. The way people look at you, for even a brief second. He’s convinced himself that everyone is trying to take you away from him, literally everyone. Even his own teammates, Lyle, Z-dog, and Ja.
- He gets irritated when he has to be gone on a mission for more then two days, he can’t see his little princess :(. And he’ll be in a bad mood for the rest of the mission because of it.
- He walks around, his tail tightly wrapped around your small thigh, sometimes even your arm. It’s a way he protects what’s his, so you’ll never be too far from him. It might leave a mark once in awhile, if your being a brat, or someone comes up to talk to you while he’s next to you. He’s the only one who gets your attention, he’s the only one worthy of it.
- There’s no question about it, he’d kill for you easily. Whether you ask for it or not, he kills people all the time, this would be no different.
- He makes sure that he knows everything that’s going on with you. Every single little detail, and he’ll even remind you of interactions you literally forgot about. He keeps tabs on everywhere you go, making sure your clocking in with the lab coats. What time you get back to your room, how many meals you ate. Who you talked to and why, and he’ll overly question you when you tell him it was a male coworker. He makes mental notes of who you do and don’t like, he’ll make sure to be extra rude to them when he passes by.
- He uses his high position to get you special things around the base. Maybe a steak dinner, new clothes you’ll like. He showers you in gifts whenever you ask, but most of the time he surprises you. Somehow your room will be under repair, and you’d have nowhere to go. But of course he’ll be there with open arms, waiting for you to ask. “Of course sweetheart!” “Your always welcome here princess”.
- He makes you scream that he owns you, that you only belong to him. And him alone. He’s rutting into you ruthlessly, your heavy pants and moans being heard from outside the door. His hands gripping onto your waist, definitely leaving marks for tomorrow. He watches you with a sly smile, his canines showing through to you. He looks almost evil, his mind relishing in the way he can control you. “C’mon say it baby” he’d coo mockingly, his hips hitting your thighs at an obnoxious pace. But all you could do was mumble out random words, trying your best not to cry. “I said say it” he’d hiss out, your cunt clenching around him deliciously. “Y-you own me daddy!” You’d whine out, head thrown back as tears prickle at the sides of your eyes.
Ronal
- We all know she’s a dom, even more now that she’s met you. She’s obsessed, all she thinks about is how your doing while your away. Counting down the minutes until she can see you again. She worries so much for her precious girl, her sweet little thing. So small and pretty, for only her to have. She wants you, hungry for your pretty little hands in hers. Your breathe heaving on her neck as her fingers plunge deeper and deeper into you.
- She thinks of you all day, wondering how her darling is doing. The second she gets home, she’s dashing to you. Asking you how you’ve been, what you did today. And especially who you talked to, and if they treated you good or not.
- Her eyes widen in shock as she sees that you had been hurt during a hunt. “Oh my precious girl!” “Do not be so reckless” “Come over here” looking up at you, as your tiny frame stands before her. Her hands holding yours, an angry expression on her face as she begins her lecture. “You cannot be so stupid y/n” she’d hiss out, her angry radiating off her body. After she’s done scolding and patching you up she’ll sit you on her lap, kissing your neck softly. Happy that your home safe with her, her arms wrapping around your waist as she tells you about how much she loves you. “That was scary ma y/n” she’d hum into your ear, a warm smile on her face. The heat of your body colliding together to form a higher temperature. “I love you so much”
- She doesn’t let you outside, unless it’s completely necessary. And that’s once in a blue moon, maybe, just maybe once a week. She’s very strict with you, scared she’ll lose you. She can’t have her precious baby getting hurt can she? So she doesn’t let you see the outside world, keeping you hidden from the cruel world that lurks outside.

- This woman is batshit crazy, nothing you’ve ever seen before.
- She’s obsessed with your body, touching every part of you. Fantasying about the feeling of your bodies colliding. Your hot breath on her as she kisses down your neck sensually. She’s all over you when you two are alone. Placing you on her lap, telling you about what a good girl you are for mommy. “Such a good girl for me” “My little slut” she’d hum into your ear, nibbling on your neck, her hands wandering lower and lower by the second.
- She puts a collar around you when your alone. She owns you so what better way to show you. A light pink collar, sliver spikes coming out of it. Similar colored leash tied to it, pulling it and yanking on it while she’s rutting into you from behind. Your gasps and mewls pushing her along more and more.
- She marks you when you go out to work, bite marks trailing down your thighs. Her smell lingering on your body no matter how much perfume you put on.
- She death glares everyone who looks at you, talks to you, or even mentions your name. It doesn’t matter if their being nice or not, they don’t have any right to talk about her beautiful girl without her permission.
Tonowari
- Such a sweetie pie, making sure your fed and full every hour. Cooing into your ear about how much he loves you, and how he’ll never leave you. Loves the way your skin feels on his, he likes your thighs. He watches you walk sometimes, mesmerized by your body. So soft and plush for him, he loves holding you close. Sitting you on his lap as he nuzzles into your neck.
- He always wants to hear about how your day went. But the second you mention another man he goes dead silent, staring you down while he anger rises. He shuts you up right away, hissing at the thought of you in the same proximity of another male other then him. The thought haunts him, he can’t have it that way. He despises it when you talk to other men without his permission. He hates it
- He might even make you sick himself, scared you’ll leave him. Maybe he puts some of that fruit in your meal that your obviously allergic to and watches you cough and feel confused. But of course he’s at your beck and call! “My precious girl!” He shouts as he picks you up in his arms as he kisses and cuddles you. Making you feel all better, reminding you about how much he actually takes care of you. He then blames it on someone else, saying it was probably that boy you were talking to who gave you that fruit. And of course you believe him! Why ever would he lie to you?
Neytiri
- She’s probably the most possessive out of everyone, maybe not the most obsessed but overly possessive. Her mind has warped her perspective of the world, your the only thing that matters now. The only one who she needs to care about, and care for. Your her number one priority now, even over herself.
- She always makes sure your doing your best, pushing you to do better at anything. Always helping you with training, joining you during hunts. She just wants what’s best for you, even if that means pushing you to do your best.
- She’s always watching, making sure you don’t go to far from her. Mesmerizing your whole schedule, every little step you make she knows about. She’s always ‘accidentally’ bumping into you while your doing your chores.
