Another headcanon about hearing him talking.
1. He'll once will utter words once he knew the person well whom he will trust with whether by work, or friends and family.
2. He's capable of speaking as we know he is, definitely a normal Russian man like a normal individual so no need to be afraid of him, just some his image projection reminds ourselves have a self respect of ourselves.
3. Though he's silent type, he is suprisingly sometimes talkative one once he express his interest to the Right one but not personal info of course it must done by discreet manner. (you'll be lucky if you are the one more than winning a lottery)
4. His voice is kinda deep but not super deep. Baritone or something smooth to hear depwnding how you can hear him speaking or singing. Samples here kinda Dmitri Hvorotovsky or sort of Nikolai Karachentsov

Juno and Avos, Soviet rock opera
Juno and Avos is a popular Russian-language rock opera written by Alexey Rybnikov, poetry by Andrei Voznesensky. It was first performed in 1981 in the Lenkom Theatre, Moscow, directed by Mark Zakharov. Main roles in the premiere performed by Soviet stars Nikolai Karachentsov and Elena Shanina.
I remember listening to it during music class at school. I didn’t understand how huge it was then, but I do now.

Я тебя никогда не забуду (I’ll Never Forget You)

Аллилуйя (Hallelujah)
You can also listen to the original vinyl recording of this opera (1979). It’s better vocally but not quite as emotional.

Nikolai Karachentsov
Or if you didn't recognize him - Jefferson Hope
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Karachentsov is another famous Soviet actor.
He's also another theatre guy, although he has played in over 100 movies and is a Russian voice for Jean-Paul Belmondo. He fell in love with theatre since he was, like, 10, he liked dancing and acting, but his mom sent him to a sport section instead because Nikolai's interests were kinda girlish. But it didn't help.
Karachentsov was very sincere on the stage, he acted nervously and with energy, stayed connected with the audience. In the movies he was a sexy guy with a fit muscular body and cool face, plus he was singing all his parts in the movies/plays himself. He was like Jackie Chan and did all the dangerous tricks himself too. He was loved in the USSR, really.
In 2005 he got into a terrible car crash. He found out that his mother-in-law died, he got so nervous that didn't put his seat belt on and was driving way faster the speed limit. He got a serious traumatic brain injury, he had a surgery and then fell into a coma for 26 days. After that he went on a long rehabilitation and showed up only in 2007. Even worse, he lost the ability to speak and by 2007 still couldn't say anything. He was moving slowly and barely showed any emotions and basically was half-dead, so it became obvious for everyone that he can't perform anymore.
In 2011 his speech has improved and he was full of confidence that he will survive no matter what, but as for now, he regrets so much that he didn't die in 2005, because everything is still bad. Like very bad. His wife is like so helpful and cheers him up, always with him and says sweet things to the camera, but I've read some comments and people just want to stab her to death and then shit on her grave, because she's just showing off and has fun buying super expensive stuff and resting in expensive hotels saying that everything she does is for her husband. Like she was searching for two weeks for a good hospital in fucking Bali, I mean, really, Bali?! For two weeks? Are you sure she was in Bali for that? People hate her, especially after one scandal she made, but I didn't go deeper, because I've seen enough depressing shit and really...
He looks really bad, guys. After I've seen his pictures, I wrote this post about Soviet actors ending up very bad, because -
Tumblr media
I mean, I couldn't keep calm after some time of searching for something like that. He doesn't even want to live anymore and is surrounded by his shitty wife. He can't even move a half of his body
Okay, he is famous and loved, and that is the most important thing. Apart from Hope, he is famous for the role of marquis Ricardo in "The dog in the manger"
Tumblr media
Billy King in "A Man from the Boulevard des Capucines"
Tumblr media
Urrie in "The Adventures of the Elektronic"
Tumblr media
And there's more...
When I first saw him in Sherlock Holmes, I traditionally could slightly recognize him as any other actor in the series, but I already loved him for some reason.
