they were all also supposed to have some kind of animation for when they're summoned but ur girl almost died doing 5 fully colored frames for breathing in one afternoon so please have mercy on me

It was very fun to work on this. We don't get many opportunities for Kass to write an entire script (images of that under the cut), and for Rach to fully adapt into a comic.

I use Scrivener for writing and such, so sadly couldn't use a simple link to a Google Doc (or idk how to do that yet). Whoops. Hope y'all enjoy seeing some of the process!

I watched a great how to draw backgrounds tutorial today! So, I tried to recreate an alley that I keep imagining in my Abandoned AU! I've always sat down and cried that I couldn't draw backgrounds. Especially cityscapes. But I'm actually pretty proud of how this came out!

Practice really does make perfect.

Well, improvement.

This is the farthest thing from perfect. I'm still awful. But I think it's looking better at least.

Huh look, it is Ninjago. Why not I suppose lmao.

This is a post apocalyptic au I kinda came up with with no idea explanation (definitely was a bit inspired by This fic on AO3)

Idk whether I'll write it or ever draw anymore of it ever but I like the designs so I'm posting it goddamnit.

Also I love the idea of Zane being fucking tall as fuck and Kai being... Less so, but hair included, being the same height as Cole. He gains like 4 inches just through hair gel lmao.

I could have made Lloyd tall, but he gives off small vibes. I just think it'd be funny for him to magically grow up and gain like... 5 inches max and still be the shortest.

This is making me realise that maybe a few too many of my design decisions are based on what I think is funny...

This au diverges at some point before Zane blows himself up at the end of s3, and is set several years in the future past that, except several things that happened afterwards didn't. Because it's MY au and I get to choose what traumatises them.

Also, I tried to sort of mix their og designs and their newer designs.

(And Jay gets an eyepatch because I loved when he got one in Skybound and I am sad he didn't keep it, honestly. Even though I know why he didn't.)

Anyway, closeups, ect:

I realised that Zanes arm is the perfect height to rest on Pix's head and I couldn't stop laughing lol (He's posed like that so his Falcon can land on his arm but the idea that he's posed like that to torment everyone he knows is objectivly funnier lol)

There's an odd number of them so Cole gets to show up twice <3 also he's got his tits out because he would do I take no criticism.

General question for the Ninjago Fandom:

Has anyone done anything with the Golden Legend short? I genuinely want to know because it would be such a cool AU/story to explore!

Ninjago's saviors preserved in gold statues, an eternally loyal dragon guarding them in this post-apocalyptic world until they can come back and restore it? The ninja waking up to this harsh reality and having to go on some epic quest to fix the world?? SOME ALL POWERFUL, UNKNOWN FORCE WHICH CAUSED ALL OF THIS, CAUSED THE ENTIRE WORLD TO TURN INTO A GREY WASTELAND???

That short is screaming to be made into some epic story either set in an AU or in the future and I really, really want to see it!

Because if no one is doing anything with it then I might steal it for myself.

so! since everyone's been making a dtiys lately, i decided, hey, why not do a pa au themed dtiys with the darkleys kids!! here's how this is gonna go! there will be two versions of the drawing above, a "good" version and and "evil" version. they will both be judged equally! but i wanted to give yall the liberty to choose between which version you want to do!

there will be three winners, and the prizes will be as follows: 1ST PLACE - full body, fully rendered, of a character/oc of your choosing! AND a profile picture of a character/oc of your choosing! 2ND PLACE - waist up, full render of an oc/character of your choosing! 3RD PLACE - a profile picture of a character/oc of your choosing! (rendered, ofc)

and here are the rules: -there aren't any (except for have fun!) i want you guys to go as WILD as you can with this one! i will be judging it on creativity most! so anything like colors, poses and overall composition are all on the table for you to change as you please!!! I kinda wanna answer questions about Galaxy so imma make a QnA post thing!

I have several Galaxy AUs, I'll list as many as I can here, and you can ask about any of em!

Original!Galaxy/NinjagoMultiverseAU! Galaxy (this is her original storyline. I have most of the story in my head, and can probably answer any question. As per the name of this AU, its set in a multiverse, so FNaF, Murder Drones, Lackadaisy, WoF, Minecraft Story Mode, and all fictional universes are canon. She's only been to a few (out of the infinite universes, so yeah. Crystalized also took place a year after she ended up in Ninjago, as well as Morro's mortal return, so there's that!)

Murder Drones AU (Essentially Galaxy as a worker drone! I have most of this lore too!)

Pirates of the Caribbean AU (this is a relatively new one (by new, barely a week old), but I have a good chunk of lore!)

Deal with the Enemy (Lackadaisy) AU (this one I have a wip fic for! Questions might actually help me develop the story a bit!)

Blue visor!AU (basically, an au of my multiverse Au set in a post apocalyptic cyberpunk Ninjago. Galaxy's reputation has been ruined by an evil alternate version of herself, and has taken the identity of Blue Visor (the leader of the resistance) to hide her identity, and keep fighting after the ninja's deaths.)

WoF AU (this is very little developed. I have a design for her and a few details, but not too much. I'm hoping to get it developed a little more!)

MLP Infection AU (also a new one, and I don't have the infection fully developed yet, so questions would probably help with that! I have stat art for her, but I probably won't post until I can disable third party sharing (as I don't want my stuff shared with AI))

Spiderverse!AU (Galaxy as a spider woman. Don't have this one all that well developed, but she's in the same universe as Spiderverse Herobrine, and he's her mentor. I have designs of both (Gal's from a picrew), but again, I probably won't post the answer until I can disable that sharing setting.)

Evil!Galaxy (as this one suggests, this is Galaxy, but opposite. I wanted to play around with Galaxy's moral values, and flip them on their head. Takes place in an AU of the multiverse au.)

S6 au where both jay and nya are able to successfully escape Nadakhan; who is very tired and irritated of having to chase them for so long, decides to wed someone else.

Perhaps the one who looks similar to nya, and was the first of the ninja to be trapped in his djinn blade? After all since he and nya look so similar there wouldn't be much to change(if he decided to change anything at all, maybe he'd leave that to his beloved delara once he brought her back.)

So ye he weds kai instead who ends up getting possessed by delara. Also in this au it takes nya and jay much longer to gather skylor, dareth, ronin, the commissioner and echo and as a result Nadakhan is able to successfully wed him without any interruptions. It's a big uh oh/oh fuck when jay and nya find out.(oh and the others, still trapped in the sword. Getting them out is going to be hard and getting the sword itself? Oh thats gonna be even harder.)

I'd like to imagine maybe a few weeks or so after the wedding nya and jay come back to find ninjago city destroyed and in a post apocalyptic state. And when they find out what happens? Oh they have so much guilt.(they should've done something sooner; Should've stopped him sooner.)
