Shouting into the void with a long rant, but I’m sort of confused by some of the takes I’ve been seeing about the Jikook NYC trip. Basically, I don’t understand why people think it’s weird that Jimin went radio silent or that neither of them have acknowledged the trip. I’m surprised because I’ve seen quite a few people saying this on multiple platforms.

Jimin never updates us on what he’s doing on a work trip? He barely uses social media or updates us on his life at all (can’t believe he actually forgot his password 😭) so honestly why were people expecting him to be actively posting things while in NY? He literally just went to London, completely disappeared, came back and then finally shared pictures of his HP tour on Instagram. And we still have no idea what he was actually in London for, he just ghosted us until he was back. So, there’s nothing odd about him going to NY and disappearing if he didn’t have a public appearance to attend.

At the end of Jungkook’s live he said he had schedules to go to that he couldn’t talk about, but that he thought ARMY would enjoy. Then he left and presumably met up with Jimin. So I think we can infer that the schedule he was referring to probably had something to do with whatever Jikook were doing in CT. And they had a camera crew with them, GoPros, and mics, so they were definitely filming content. Jungkook literally said in his live he couldn’t talk about what he was doing… so, why do people find it weird that they… didn’t talk about what they were doing? They’re especially not going to acknowledge something that is supposed to be a future project.

Anyways, there are a lot of interesting mysteries about their CT trip! And regardless of their motives, it seems like jkk had a lot of fun and Jimin was still physically present for JK during a monumental moment in his life. But I think there are some points that people are emphasizing as ‘weird’ or ‘significant’ or ‘suspect’ that have me scratching my head a bit because it contradicts what we know about them as individuals and the little bits of information we have about their trip.

And I’ll cap this rant post off with something else that’s been bothering me. It’s not weird or significant that Jimin didn’t appear in Jungkook’s post GMA live. That wasn’t a normal live, and it’s not really comparable to the one that JH did after Lolla or YG did after his concert. This was the first live that JK did after his debut as a soloist, and he used it to talk about the MV and his song. I’m assuming it was meant to be like the ones that the other members did where they talked about their albums a bit. That’s definitely not the sort of live Jimin would or should make an appearance on. It was basically part of an official schedule for JK.

And so we were there and like nothing was even open like it was rlly new. And I was bored as fuck but it was rlly pretty and then I’m so fr I took a picture of every cat I saw. And so we walked home and we stopped to get groceries and omg I forgot I to tell u at the mall we ate at a cafe. In the morning I took a picture of this place called mustafah u can look again n I thought it was silly bc everyone’s name here is mutsafah and we coincidentally ate there and it was sooooo good I ate a carénele tres leches it was so fucking good and I drank a coffee and they were in these cups that I loved they reminded me of u so much so I wanted them so bad so I went to buy them n they didn’t sell them so I got another ones that I think ull think are rlly cool they remind me of underthink logo. So they’re for our house. Then we walked home n we stopped be a grocery store for food and that’s when k got my Piña and then I stopped at this case place bc I’ve still been trynna get ur sparkly thing for ur cameraaaaa so I went and looked and asked for ur phone n they didn’t have any at that place but they had for mine but I just know they’ll have it at another one of those so don’t worry ur still getting one and I also got u this thing for ur charger u can put on it. Moto Moto is the one my brother is petting, and Jill of course is the other one (it was hard getting pictures of them because they wouldn't stop moving). I already have three dogs in a small house so I unfortunately couldn't keep them, but my uncle took Jill and I had to take Moto to the shelter 😭 though I'm happy that I still get to see Jill from time to time, she gets along very well with my cousin's pitbull, Lilah.

hello! thank you so much!!! i just finished and i feel pretty good about it, i’m really hoping for a good grade! i think i’m in about the same boat, but i’ve really improved this year by talking to family in french so i’m hoping to get better that way so i can discuss more topics. i think so too, i have a friend studying it but the characters seem like a steep learning curve for me (but one i’ll try to trek anyway).

i do not have a clear top ten and idk if i could ever have answered that so i admire you for trying 😭 i love your choices too! for me, i would say that my absolute favorite taylor song is mine: it just has all of the elements i’m looking for when one of her older love songs puts you in a rush. i also love dwoht, ivy, false god, cowboy like me, mad woman, peace/hoax (i read this one tumblr post last year that said if peace was like asking her partner if they could be together, then hoax was her finding out later that it never could have worked out, so now i always play them back to back), i almost do, the other side of the door, and i’ve hit ten so i’ll stop there lol. i can’t say that’s a definite top ten though so i absolutely get the struggle.

I've been a fan since like just before the red rollout. my sister got the speak now cd for her birthday in april 2011 I think and ever since we started to become fans. I think the first song I listened to was probably like you belong with me, but not like as an active fan. mine was though! hmm I think I have to go with speak now... like I heard that song on the cd for the first time and I became obsessed, like it was insane...
