10. How do you decide what to write?

Ummmmm put my favorite playlist on shuffle, see what song comes up, see what vibes it’s giving me, then stare at my drafts till something clicks nicely.

Or just roulette out a pairing and prompt from ask box XD

12. Are there any tropes you used to dislike but have grown on you?

…I hate to say this but yeah, childhood best friends drifting apart trope. Used to think it had way too much pining but idk it’s grown so much on me lately~

13. Are there any tropes you used to like but don’t anymore?

The “person A bullies person B because they’ve got a crush on them” trope or in short, the first character is an ass to the second character trope because they can’t deal w their feelings for them— mostly because it’s so horribly executed most of the times. If someone is bullying, the other person should be able to SHOVE it back in their face. Just as horribly. Otherwise where’s the fun. It’s also lessened my taste for banter :(

23. What’s a trope, AU, or concept you’ve never written, but would like to?

COFFEESHOP AU I WANNA WRITE A MEET-CUTE COFFEESHOP AUUUUUUU!!!!!!

33. If you write chaptered fics, what’s your ideal chapter length to write? Is it different from your ideal chapter length to read?

20-25 chapters. More than that, and I lose rhythm. For reading, if it’s being updated in real time, I can read as many as you give. But maximum 15, if all chapters are already posted/fic is complete before I started it~

45. What’s something you’ve improved on since you started writing fic?

Exposition, I think. My old fics, on rereads, felt dry. They lacked a certain… emotion?? They felt more like play writing than narrative/story writing and I think that’s the best improvement ever!

Here's the first one I drew, it's also the last one I finished because of the background no matter what background I drew it looked like Beast Boy was about to fall of the edge and as you can see I ended up leaving it that way because there was nothing I could do unless I decided to redraw Beast Boy😔 but I'm just glad I finally finished it😊

hello!!! omigosh my first note!! i feel so chosen!!!

oki lets start!

(all answers are below, for those who wanna read!)

✨- which fictional character (book, show, or movie) do you relate to most?

-i actually did this one last because there are so many characters out there that i relate too in some way and its just so hard to pick just one,, but i did it!

-okay so we are gonna do a bit of time traveling to when i was a little teeny tiny teen and my old nickname was DAY, (though my irl name is delilah, i go by dela now, which is said day-lah,, hahaha literally only added a syllable. silly head!) anyhoo i was huge greek mythology nerd,, i use to have three copies of the same myth book. one for my room, one for the car, and one to take with me to school. but then Percy Jackson came into my life, and i binged read every book,,, i cried so much over that series,, literally sending fan mail to Rick Riordan weekly...yeah

-back to the topic,,sorry,, my most relatable character was Nico D'Angelo because in the beginning he was this sweet happy kid, and then we see him devolve into this depressive boy struggling with the grudges of losing his sister and then we there's his whole character arc too! but for the most part i felt like we were similar in the fact of having happiness taken away, and the need to control our lives so that we could fix things.

-in my case it was becoming sick, losing my freedom to do things that i loved, spending countless hours in the hospital, losing my relationships and that just sent me spiraling into this depression,, i felt angry and betrayed. and i didn't want to let those feelings go because i wanted to have something to blame. good news is its not like that anymore!

-and woah that got heavier than expected, uhh so yeah imma end it there for that one. haha whoops. sorry that was suppose to be sweet and pure, but it got a little gritty.

🎂- if you had 3 wishes, what would they be?

-hmm that's a hard one since i do have a lot of wishes,,, some personal and some completely random, but if i had to make a list i guess i'll give you my top 3

1.) to not be sick anymore, so i don't have to take so much medicine and so i can eat whatever i want without worry,,, like chocolate or spaghetti!

2.) to be able to travel around the world and see all the cool things like the Caribbean, Orcas in Alaska, or ooohh go to one of those famous beach resort hotels and swim with dolphins!!! (i really like ocean things, they look so peaceful!)

3.) and my last wish i guess would be to be able pay back my family for always taking such good care of me,, i know it must have been rough for them having to raise a sick child, and with my third wish i want them to have it, so they can use it for whatever they truly want!

💒- which show would you want to live in?

-while my inner child would be like TEEN TITANS, i'd have to turn that down because woah there were a lot of weirdos in that show,,, plus remember that whole trigon episode? i do not want to be frozen in stone or fall into a lava pit...

-hmm this is a toughie... my final answer would probably be hetalia because at least for the most part everything is normal.. i mean yeah countries are people,, but if you don't work in the government you probably wouldn't know right? which doesn't seem too bad excluding the whole paint it white movie, cause turning into a faceless blob would literally be the worst.

🎄- what is your favorite holiday?

-valentine's day hands down. beanie (my husband) always takes me to the beach every valentine's day, since that was the day and place where he proposed to me. we've been together since i turned 18 in an arranged marriage. don't worry arranged doesn't mean forced,,, that's two different things!!! we are happily together!!

🎶- favorite song right now?

-i have an acquired taste in music, and by acquired i mean just all over the place. yes, i have listened to baby shark trap 10 hour version with no shame, and yes i will own it. but right now i guess its any song form any of the shrek soundtracks. bring back shrek, 'tis a masterpiece!

🎥- what show are you currently binging on?

-This is umm actually no imma own this like the mature adult i am and just flat out say, that i, Delilah, am un-apologetically watching Barbie Life in the Dreamhouse! (yeah adulting!)

everything else was nice and sweet,,,except that first one,, but...

(No spoilers please cuz I still haven't watched it bcuz of school ^^')

Okay I... Did not really like it.

I'm gonna be honest and say I did try to give it a fair shot. It's just... I really HATE media that goes out of its way too be too "woke". This movie wasn't just woke... It literally slammed the fact that it was in your face every 2 seconds. I'm not even joking. It got pretty ridiculous at certain points too.

The writing was terrible is my main gripe. They really were out here acting like the OG Cinderella wasn't about escaping abuse and just about finding a man and I LOATHE it when Cinderella is just reduced to that aspect of it. (I could discuss more, I just don't wanna spoil). Anyway, this Cinderella faces significantly less abuse and because of it the whole story changes even though the token plot points are all there.

Also there's this very evident hypocrisy in the film. It has a very clear "as a woman finding love is only got those who wanna be miserable and non independent" message in the background all while Cinderella falls in love so its just... The message clashes with itself a lot and it annoyed me.

The acting was mediocre which I expected. I liked only 3 songs aside from the rap parts which were genuinely good and funny.

Cinderella and the Prince had no chemistry 😭 they tried, bless them. It just didn't work.

So yeah... Overall it's not something I'd watch again. I love Cinderella remakes. But this one just went out of its way to say "HEY! IM A FEMINIST MOVIE! NOT LIKE THE REGULAR CINDERELLA CRAP YOU'VE SEEN IN THE YEARS PREVIOUS" which just... No. I'm not having that. At all.

Sorry for such a negative review. I have a lot more to say about this movie and I normally love any and all iterations of Cinderella. This one tho.... It just wasn't for me. I hope you can enjoy it more than I did tho!

Au idea that I've been wanting to share for a while now:

No capes Au where the DC universe is dealing with a zombie apocalypse situation in their world and they have to try to survive it

And after being almost attacked at the local Bludhaven park by some of the recent turned zombies there, witnessing the new growing horrors of the now living beings in the world, Dick has to try to survive and protect his family Kory, little Mar'i (4 years old), baby Jake (2 years old), and his little brother Damian (7 years old) from those nasty hungry creatures and travel where it's safe for them all

Duke, Stephanie, and Cass are trying to survive on the road in a van owned by Stephanie

Tim (14-15 years old), Kon (14-15 years old), Jon (6 years old), and Chris (8 years old) are somewhere else stuck together as a group after being almost attacked at the arcade in Metropolis while hanging out together

No one knows what happened to Jason or knows where he is, so no one knows if he's alive or not

Bruce and Talia are trying to find their Son Damian and the rest of the Batkids

Clark and Lois too with their own Sons

(And yes, Kon lost his awesome leather jacket while being on the run, which answers the question to why he's so sad in this drawing since it was just such a tragic lost for him, so now he's just stuck with a "lame" T-shirt. The T-shirt he's wearing is the black and red Superboy T-shirt that he wore in the Young Justice animated series btw)

This au was very much inspired by Telltale's The walking dead video game series and The last of us 1 :) my top two favorite video games)

Also, all of this is an idea that I'm trying to make into a fic, so hopefully I get to actually write it lol

9.How often do you get massages?

Im assuming we're talking about actual massages here and not messages. In which case, I've only ever had one massage in my life. It was awkward as hell, because the cd player they were using to fill the silence, broke. So the therapist just massaged me, in silence. I came out feeling just as stressed as I went in. Haven't had a massage since.

19. What's your favorite social media platform?

I only use Facebook and tumblr. Facebook because it was the first social media platform I ever used, and tumblr for the fandoms. It's a toss up, really, for favorite.

27. When was the last time you kissed someone?

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far, away.

33. Describe your first love.

I don't think I've ever really been in love; my romantic history is very slim and lacking. I don't really mind that though. When I like someone, I'll go out with them (provided my anxiety doesn't interfere). If I don't like them, I don't see why I should go out with them.

48. How many drafts do you have?

Drafts as in for tumblr posts? None. Drafts as in for fanfiction or fanart? None. I have some outlines of plots written out, but nothing really concrete.
