duncan is mischa (considering courtney is ocean, talia would be gwen)

harold was born to be ricky potts. no one else could pull him off i fear

ezekiel is jane doe

beth is constance

i feel like chris & chef are karnak and that rat beast who’s name i forget, cant decide who is who but i feel like chef suits karnak and chris has rat beast energy

toyed with the idea of alejandro as mischa (with talia as heather i guess?) because im biased and i love him but duncan does fit better so chose him in the end but either works

so um ya rtc au 👍👍 im off to go listen to the entire soundtrack and/or rewatch the musical on a long bus ride

Okay now, hear me out, what if Talia was either Trent or Alejandro. In my own little TDI/ROTC universe, I put Trent as Noel for the sole purpose I KNOW that man loves poetry - I just know he was so excited for the poetry unit - but what if he was Talia. Like. Duncan/Mischa did say that Talia left "mostly positive comments" on his YouTube comment section and I just know Trent is the type of person to try and be supportive of upcoming artists (considering he is one himself) but also. my GOD that's a lot of autotune. And Alejandro just because I think it's funny of him typing hate comments on Duncan/Mischa's videos.

chris - karnak. really who else?

ezekiel - virgil. hes basically the same species as a rat

courtney - ocean. values herself over others, thinks shes the superior human

gwen - constance. at first i had gwen as constance but changed it to beth because of the whole “being kind thing” and anon convinced me to change it back

nobody - noel. thats it you’ve lost noel privileges

alejandro - mischa. boy from europe who presents as tough but is softened by his love (talia/heather)

harold - ricky. hes geeky, probably loves cats, and would def sing about making love to cat ladys on another planet

izzy - jane doe. izzy has many aliases: esquire, explosivo, e-scope, like jane: jane, penny, savannah. i don’t have many other reasonings here but izzy is theorized as “not actually crazy” so shes putting on act and we wouldn’t know what shes actually like, and jane doe we don’t know what she’s actually like cause she’s lost her head and has no recollection or memories, my apologies if that gave everyone an aneurysm.

The plot is that Ocean gets "brought back to life" because "god had pity on her" (in her thoughts) and she gets ready for school, but the world she once knew falls down around her as she realizes that she wasn't actually brought back to life. Chris McLean just decided to make a new season of total drama with only dead contestants. Her and the choir go on a journey to just end up back in Uranium City. They all compete to come back to life and Ocean is determined to bring herself back.
