Gang wars are an inevitability in the city. Skirmishes happened on and off, cycling through a never-ending power struggle amongst those playing at this game for far too long. It just sucked when you happened to find yourself in the cross-fire.

Cassie kind of remembered stumbling by a shop, shock taking most of the pain's edge off, but then there's nothing. Waking up anywhere unfamiliar would be alarming even to the most hardened Gothamites. Despite the stranger seeming genuinely concerned, Cassie didn't lie back down.
