There’s nothing more humbling than selling everything you own to buy heroin.

Body positivity post💚💚💚 was totally feelin' myself today for the first time in a long time. @jaclynhill who?!?! Lol Ive been taking care of my physical self & mental self more lately. I believe those two go hand in hand. I notice if I feel well mentally my body responds in good ways. I feel more energetic, I feel the want to eat cleaner. I've been journaling daily. Taking care of my recovery as well. I start my day off by writing down 3 things I'm grateful for, reading a daily devotional book, and doing some positivity planning. I have 3 years in recovery since 01/16/17. Thank you God!!!!! ❤ if you havent heard my story I recommend the first video you see on my channel, or my recovery watchlist & my interview with Recover Out Loud. @recoveroutloudinc Remember clean mind, clean body, clean soul! #bodypositivity #recovery #addiction #wedorecover #recoveryispossible #recoverywarrior #recoveryjourney #nomoreheroin #chicagohopedealers💯💪🏻 #feelingmyself #feelinggood #brunettebombshell #brunette #beautifulwomen #brunettehottie #beauty #beautybloggers #beautyinfluencer https://www.instagram.com/p/B8pdTJXJaj1/?igshid=6k52w0iojq7n

Good morning,
This morning I'm grateful to be seen, heard, loved, and accepted. I'm grateful for the opportunity of another day that was not promised, I'm grateful to be willing and able to remain teachable, I'm grateful for a path and purpose that is wholesome and healthy, I'm grateful to be a man of peace, forgiveness, and truth!
My intention today is to allow, to show up, to invite great spirit into the day in all things, and to flow!
What are you grateful for today and what is your intention for today?

The difference sobriety can make!!!!! Its astounding! I was quite literally dying from the inside out. I'm now in love with life and everything it brings. I have an amazing support system as well as the best addictions Dr around, he sees addiction for what it is. I can say without any doubts that my worst day sober is better than my best day using. My journey has been through many ups & downs, but its so beautiful and complex. I wanted to show the REAL difference. My WORST picture during active intravenous heroin & meth use & a picture I just took yesterday. The difference to me is so motivational. So remember, if you are out there struggling & feel like there's never going to be an end to the madness, there is a way out. Its extraordinary on this side. All it takes is the glimpse of hope to want to stop. If I can do then you can too! My inbox is ALWAYS open and keep hope!!!! #AddictionRecovery #HeroinRecovery #WeDoRecover #RecoverOutLoud #recoveryispossible #methrecovery #addiction #recoveryisbeautiful #recoveryrocks #recoverytransformation #addiction #addictionawareness #nomoreheroin https://www.instagram.com/p/B44OT9GpfnT/?igshid=1ejt4pbjm9v0q

In honor of Overdose Awareness Day (yesterday August 31, 2019) I myself am a recovering addict with 2.5 years clean and serene. I was an IV heroin and meth user. I was in DEEP. I lost everything I've ever held dear. I lost everything but my life. So many others have not been so fortunate. This purple look was created to honor those lost to this epidemic. Let's remember them. 💜 they were someones sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, brother, father, and cousin. They were SOMEONE! The last picture is a before & after, during my active use & with 2.5 years clean. #overdoseawarenessday #addictionrecovery #addictionrecovery #heroinrecovery #methrecovery #wedorecover #nomoreheroin #makeupismypower #makeupismypassion #makeupaccount #makeuplover #beautycommunity https://www.instagram.com/p/B15nk2JpqBH/?igshid=1flgzq6v33ukj

Body positivety post. Ever since i entered into my recovery, my body changed so much. I went from being 115 lbs at my healthiest during active addiction to 160 lbs noe with 2.5 years sober. I have learned to embrace my curves. I am beautiful no matter what. Days like today when I take the time to dress up and get out and take photos remind me that I am a gorgeous goddess!!! #recovery #recoveryaccount #recoveryrocks #addictionrecovery #addiction #nomoreheroin #heroinrecovery #methrecovery #beautybloggers #beauty #curvygirl #curvywoman #curvyfashion #inspirational https://www.instagram.com/p/B1LGZR5pStk/?igshid=3w6xm8p9qh2d

I really cannot stand the word Junkie. This word is a very demolaralizing depective word. The word junkie is very offensive. For those who don't know the history behind this word. This word was made in the 1920s when addicts were junking metal and scapes to get money for drugs. This word was used to label people who struggled with an illness that is incurable and fatal. This word has been used to single out and set addicts apart from other people. We are your daughter's your mother's your wife's your sister's and your friends. We are your son's your father's your husband's your brother's and your family members. We are also your neighbor's your Doctor's your teacher's and your lawyer's. We are not always homeless. We can end up homeless but we do not start out homeless. Addicts are people too. Addiction can effect anyone. This disease does not care how much money you have. What car you drive. How big of a house you live in. All that can fit in a the bottom of a bottle in pipe a stem or a syringe. If you think addiction isn't a disease you are entitled to your own thinking. You may want to do some research before throwing a thought around. I am recovering from the disease of addiction. I no longer do drugs. I am not a junkie nor will I label myself as such a word. I have feelings. I am not just an addict. I am a human being. Please copy and paste this. Help us end the stigma.
