Scientist caretaker captures a non-human whumpee in order to prove their species is real.
What they didn't anticipate was whumpee would be hauled off to be studied and experimented on in the name of science.

Feral Whumpees who are gradually sorta kinda tamed with tenderness. Whumpees who scratch and snap and snarl and duck into dark corners when they feel threatened. They'll drag Caretaker down into the corner too if they think they're being threatened. Caretaker rubbing their head and back soothingly, talking them down and getting cautious yet trusting rumbles in return. Whumpee building their nest, leaving room for Caretaker beside them. Whumpee slow-blinking in adoration for them, and hissing at anyone else who gets too close

Thinking about non-human whumpees being kept in the wrong enclosure.
Whumper who decides to stick the avian in the mer tank, and the werewolf who’s afraid of heights get shoved into the avian’s cage, hanging above Whumper’s staircase.
The avian desperately struggling to keep their head above the water as their wings slowly drag them under, unbearably heavy and water-logged. Mer Whumpee slowly swims around them, curious, but too afraid to help under Whumper’s watchful gaze, trying to ignore the horrible spluttering sounds and cries for help Avian Whumpee is making.
Meanwhile, Werewolf Whumpee is curled up in the fetal position in the center of the cage, trying their best not to move and send the whole thing swinging, thinking anxiously about the full moon later that night. They lay there, wondering if the untamed chaos of their wolf form will send the whole thing crashing down onto the cold marble floor below. Will they wake up tomorrow in a puddle of their own blood, the wreckage of the cage around them and the wrath of Whumper waiting to greet them?

Content: Robot whumpee, begging, fear of death (sort of).
A broken robot who is constantly having to be switched off and on again due to crashes and malfunctions, never being able to know if they’ll be powered up again afterwards.
They don’t know how to express this, however, which leaves caretaker constantly wondering why their robot spends their last few seconds before each shut down saying ‘please’ on repeat. They assume it’s just another problem they’ll have to eventually fix.

Whump drabbles, 13/100: defender.
“Of course he’s different. But you mean it with malice, and that is not okay.” Caretaker loomed over cowering Teammate. Whumpee sat still across the room, his horned head bowed, hiding behind his wings. “He’s different, yes, but he’s also smart, and kind, and compassionate. You could learn a lot from him.”
As soon as Teammate stormed away, sour-faced and embarrassed, Whumpee revealed himself and nearly tackled Caretaker with a hug.
“What’s this for?” Caretaker asked, as they closed their arms around Whumpee.
“Did you mean what you said?”
“Of course.” Caretaker kissed the top of Whumpee’s head. “Every word.”

A non-human whumpee who drinks blood/eats human flesh controlling their hunger, either as a promise to their loved ones or because they treasure their morality more than their life and health. It leads to a variety of physical and psychological issues but they're determined to hold out for as long as they can... which is until the caretaker finds out.

Whump prompt #8
Feral whumpee who was raised as a weapon crying after being rescued:
They cry for the first time when caretaker asks them how they feel.
(Bonus of it's the first time they have been asked that)
(Also bonus if whumper would condition them to say "I'm fine" or ask it mockingly)
Cry when they eat a nice meal for the first time
When they do something wrong and are already waiting for punishment, but caretaker just says it's okay, bc they didn't mean to do wrong.
They cry when caretaker bathes them and brush their hair, so when whumpee sees themselves in the mirror, they don't recognize themselves
Cry when they have a nightmare about their past.

Whump Prompt #1231
Anon asked:
May I have some torture prompts please?*
TW: Non-con body modifications/gore/body horror/organ harvesting etc
I got a bit carried away with these...
Your whumpee is left cut open - perhaps with their organs exposed. Their flesh could be pulled back and held open. This takes the feeling of exposure to a whole new level.
^ This also entices anxiety/panic. As they may be able to see organs grow back, therefore as they get closer to 'completion' they start to panic when they remember the pain of removal.
^ Also the torturer could use this for 'science' in order to better calculate which organ is better value for time/money.
The torturer could also take blood at the same time to limit the mess during surgeries. Your whumpee is constantly nauseous/lightheaded/weak because of this. (Dubious science, but you get the idea)
The first time they're allowed to heal, even for a short amount of time, they're overwhelmed with relief.
Are they rescued while they're still 'open'?
Do they scar regardless of the injury type? For example, if a leg is taken, are they left with a ring of scarring where the initial cut was?
At what point do they stop feeling it/are so in shock that they just.. don't register what's going on?
How does the harvesting affect their sense of balance/bodily functions? Do they have nausea, but have nothing to make something to bring up? When they're able to stand after their rescue, do they feel heavy/full?
^ Are they so used to feeling empty?
Do the torturers take their eyes so they're unable to see what's happening/where they are?
What if, a long time after their rescue/recovery, they stumble across someone who received a limb/organ they needed - maybe they're so grateful for it, but the whumpee has to silently suffer knowing that it's their body part.
^ How does the whumpee know it's theirs? Do tattoos/pre-existing scars regenerate also?
After the rescue, the first time they have a day without pain is bliss. They sob.
*(The character context Anon gave is under the cut)
My whumpee is from a humanoid subspecies that can regenerate almost ANY lost body part - limbs, fingers, eyes, tongue, most internal organs, you name it - unless they've been fully chopped to bits. The only thing they cannot regenerate is their equivalent of a brain, because obviously that controls the regeneration process (if they've been lobotomized, they can still regenerate but slower). The regeneration process usually lasts from 3 hours to a week, depending on what and how much has been lost, but the process is painful, uncomfortable and it's usually for the best that the individual is asleep through most of it.
That makes whumpee's subspecies very attractive to organ harvesting rings, because their organs are compatible with those of many other species. One day, our whumpee wakes up strapped to a table...

The best kind of monster whump is when they truly can't control the beast from within. I remember I used to daydream about non-human creatures that while usually aren't a threat, some are affected by a curse that reduces them to their lowest instincts of violence. They have to be locked up and it's not even an abusive place, they are treated alright but just the shame and the sad realization that they are a danger to anyone they care about.

Note
When the team is getting grilled by the enemy and the interrogators single out the nonhuman member much more violently 👏
Right? And for what? Is it just because they stand out or do they rationalize it to themselves/feel less guilty using more extreme methods on someone who isn't really a person in their eyes?

Non-Human Whump Things
Content: Non-human whump, vampire whump, fairy whump, immortal whump, asphyxiation, gore, mouth whump, burns, drugging, forced to hurt, android whump, robot whump, [mentioned] autocannibalism, force feeding, [mentioned] caretaker-turned-whumpee, reluctant whumper, broken bones, waterboarding, giant whump.
Declawing a catperson.
Forcing an android's creator (caretaker) to kill them.
Pulling out a vampire's fangs.
Abandoning a robot in the rain.
Shattering a catperson's ankles so they're forced to crawl like an actual cat.
Tearing off a fairy's wings.
Hanging an immortal by the neck.
Waterboarding/drowning a robot.
Using a tiny whumpee as a stress ball.
Restraining a vampire with silver.
Training a giant for a circus act.
Keeping an android's nerve sensors on during maintenence/a fix.
Stabbing a vampire's caretaker so they can feed.
Cooking bits of an immortal whumpee's body into food (bonus points if they then have to eat it later on)
Docking a catperson's tail.
Feeding a vampire human food (won't do much but it'll taste horrible)
Tying a tiny whumpee up with rubber bands because they've got nothing else small enough. Perhaps they just want to see how many rubber bands it takes to make their little body explode like they do with watermelons.
Lock an immortal in a room during a heatwave (highly recommend Heat Wave (Part 1) and Heat Wave (Part 2) from the K&J series by @whumpsday if that's something you're into!)
Locking a catperson outside at night.

I cannot write a “normal” whump story for the life of me. Every attempt has failed so far. (Yet I can read and enjoy human whump perfectly fine?)
Either my characters (whumpees, whumpers, and caretakers) are aliens/ non-human; or the whumpee is going to be a human with supernatural abilities because super-powered whumpees are apparently my weakness? There’s just something extra spicy about adding some mystical, magical, paranormal, and supernatural elements to a story that really scratches an ever-present itch in my brain.
Bonus points for supernatural elements and powers being allegories or symbols for the human experience, mental illness, or man-made issues like society and culture.
Please share your favorite non-human whump stories, I want to read them all!
