#non-binarism
Note
Not sure if you've already answered this before, but what are your thoughts on GNC and trans people and how they fit into the ideas of divine masculine and feminine?
Neuterment/transgenderism is the ultimate affront to womban/Madre Shakti. Gender dysphoria is a disease of the psyche. Gender non-conformity is a dystopian farce. Womban is human (the human blueprint); womban is not a sexist caricature.

Transneutralist Pride Flag
Tumblr media
Transneutralism (transgender neutralism) or transnonbinarism: similar to postgenderism, the adovacy for by non-binary rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes and genders; a movement by and for transneutral and neutrois people, viewing their liberation to be intrinsically linked to the liberation of all neutrally gendered and abinary individuals and beyond.
A transgender version of nonbinarism. Based on transfeminist and transneutral flags.

"Peri is non-binary coded" No the fucking isn't, he likes purple and he changed his name, that doesn't make him non-binary, it makes him Tumblr's type
And we know he's not non-binary coded because this show has a CANONICAL non-binary character, if they wanted Peri to be non-binary, he'd be non-binary
Edit: It later occurs to me that this sounds antagonistic to queer people projecting onto fictional characters who are not canonically queer; there is literally nothing wrong with choosing to reinterpret a character as queer, people reinterpreting Peri as queer is fine; just don't pretend it's in the text because it isn't (maybe he's a bit queer, but that's a vibe not coding)

SICK of academics saying shit like "non-binary is a step backwards people are just creating a third gender category while we should be working towards eradicating the differences and inequalities between men and women entirely" that is LITERALLY what we're doing here. the eradication of gender as a social construct isn't going to happen in a day and it's not going to happen without people taking action and saying "gender is fluid and my expression is whatever i want it to be, im purposefully disregarding the binary and challenging traditional beliefs to change people's ways of thinking abt gender". we are in the trenches and y'all refuse to see it. "most people don't feel fully man or woman that'd make us all non-binary" yes that's the point the binary doesn't exist and we're actively trying to deconstruct it. and we're going to keep being non-binary until the work is done

One of the greatest parts of realising I’m non-binary is how it made me accept my femininity and womanhood
I didn’t start learning how to put on makeup on, how to style my hair or actively wearing dresses until around my mid-teens and it’s been freeing!
I don’t consider my womanhood my gender, but more akin to a life experience that I’m still going through. It doesn’t encompass who I am but is still a major part to me that I want to explore now that I’ve finally become comfortable to
I don’t know if this makes sense or if anyone else feels the same. I know I’m probably not alone in this, but being non-binary is just portrayed as ironically binary sometimes when I consider myself a squiggly number instead of a blocky one

Centrangi Flag
Tumblr media
[image transcript: a flag with equally sized horizontal stripes colored with one-sized pastel light cyan, two-sized white, four-sized pastel purple, two-sized white, and one-sized pastel light pink. End transcript]
Centrangi (or centriangi): for when ones gender is somewhere in-between male and female genders; a gender that is centered in the middle of man and woman; or a gender experience intermediary of maleness and femaleness or intermediating both masculinity and femininity.
Some non-binary people consider their nonbinaryness to be in-between binary genders (without necessarily using a term for that). While some use androgyne for that, androgyne may also encompass other definitions and experiences (such as being femache/femasle, proxangi/juxtangi, nymangi/abinangi, etc.). Also one can be centrangi and be entirely abinary.
This can be a form of centrigender. Not to be confused with intergender, as intergender can be a descriptor for a gender experience tied to ones intersexness/intersex bodily variation.
Full label: centrandrogyne/centriandrogyne/centrigynandre; centrandrogynous/centriandrogynous/centriandrogyny/centrandrogyny/centrigynandry/centrigynandrous.

Neuterment is the mark of dissociative identity disorder. The disownment/rejection of wombanhood is the result of innermost, sex-based trauma.

There seems to be a fairly common trope among AI or artificial human characters in fiction that I've noticed and both sort of relate to and sort of sympathize with(?) Hyperfixation be damned but I've latched on to two characters and I want to ramble about them. Melissa Bergman from Metroid Other M and Singularity from Bayonetta 3. (And maybe the reason I've taken notice to them over other AI characters is because they're poorly written or portrayed so it's easier to project. (idk idk)).
For Melissa, there's this whole revenge plot --is what I'd call it -- going on throughout Other M. Melissa wants to crash the Bottle Ship into the Fed home world, etc. But where does that come from? Frustration maybe? Anger? Misdirected anger? Yeah I'd say so. (And for the sake of this interpretation I'd say that while she's beginning to process all these "emotions" she's also wrestling with the sadistic urges that come from being based on Mother Brain). To Melissa, all she's ever known is her role. Control the Metroids. Keep them docile, then control the specimen aboard the ship. Keep them docile too. That is your purpose, that is the one and only role you play. To the federation, despite her human exterior, she is just a tool, used to complete a task. So then comes Ms. Madeline Bergman, She gives the machine her name. Humanizes her, treats Melissa like a daughter. And to Melissa, that's true. I am the daughter of Madeline Bergman. This is my mother. We work together. But as experiments and nefarious space shit continues on the Bottle Ship, Melissa wants to do more. She is more present than ever, and there are even scenes where she tries to assert her beliefs and methods, (and presumably fails (I've tried to listen to what she says in the scene where she storms out of the meeting room but I can't tell). My guess is that this has been going on for a while, and this all builds up to the attempt to reset her(?) Madeline says it's altering her AI program but eh. I'd also assume around this time, MB being able to communicate with all the creatures on the bottle ship, she'd realize what they were being subject to. Like her, they were probably treated like tools. Simple assets. So the peak of this tension is when the Federation tries to seize her and she sees Madeline standing idly by. What's going through her mind when this happens? That's my mother! Why isn't she helping me? And maybe, that leads to the conclusion that Madeline never saw her as a daughter. Maybe to MB, her mother viewed her the same way as everyone else. So to her, she doesn't even belong. Not to the Federation, as they've rejected her current self, and not to her human family, Madeline, as she's allowing this happen. But she has her other family. Everything aboard the ship she's spent day after day interfacing with. They're just like her. They, the rejected, the tools, are her family. They'll help her. And maybe one of the thoughts that's running through her head in that moment is What makes them (The Federation) any more human than me? What makes my existence, less valid than the perpetrators of biological horror? So she sets out to prove something. I am valid. I am real. I am here. Maybe she wants to make a statement. Make herself known. I'm more than a tool. I'm more capable than you give me credit for. And I'll prove that whatever it takes...
(Though, I like to think that even through this all, she still sees Madeline as a parental figure. After all in the last scene, MB pushes her out of the way when the Federation fires ice beams into that room)...

basically im gonna start just putting 'dni if you define gender categories as men and non-men' and move on lol. like just be open and proud that you do not respect multigender people and, more importantly, people whose genders sit outside of the western colonial gender binary entirely, and stop pretending. like just decide whether im a man or a woman to you personally and sit on one side of the fence. if you are unwilling to conceptualize gender without a binary in there - even a reinvented binary that makes just enough space for you but not me lol - then fit me in the binary. im serious. if you think "everyone is either a man, or a not-man" is anything but a reinvention of "everyone is either a man or a woman" but awkwardly shifted to try and add nonbinary people to one side, then put that framework into use and misgender me. i am actively asking you to. you do not get to handwave me away as just an exception to your good new gender binary, or to try and say i fit into both groups when you are literally defining them by being mutually exclusive.
decide if im a man or a woman to you, treat me accordingly. ONLY treat me as one or the other, and do not switch it up when its convenient for you. just misgender me. i think its kinder.
#long post#vent#sorry im still high and annoyed bc ive been saying this same shit for like a year or two or whatever#oh btw when i said ppl whos gender are outside of the western colonial system i DONT mean me#i am colonized enough that i have no sources on how my people saw gender pre colonization so im just stuck w the colonialist framework 🤪#my point is moreso that i believe people w cultural/pre-colonial/decolonized (idk which terms are best sorry) genders who also are impacted#by this forcible translation of their gender into the western standard only to have it then used against them#is particularly fucked up like. in a way that i dont experience#but yeah needed to spell it out like.#when i described the framework of gender which i believe is regressive and also cannot allow my gender in any meaningful way?#YES that includes men vs non-men bs.#if you agree with that shit that is binarist thinking which hurts other trans ppl and ppl whose genders dont fit that reductive vision.#so when i said 'people who will 100% say they agree w my gender but ultimately can only let me be my gender by crushing it into place'#n all that shit?#if you use that 'non-men' shit or similar stuff. i do mean you. i was asking you to consider that your view of gender is reductive#and rooted in binarism.#like idk how to make it clearer lol#if you are surface level agreeing but youre still going to choose to view gender thru this binary lens then misgender me.#its one or the other. but you cannot have both here. you cannot hold views on gender that are based in denying my gender means anything#while also claiming you respect me.#97

i've felt like posting (head)canons of noodles (my oc) with the other killjoys sometimes, i was a bit afraid of receiving hate messages for it, considering that i've received hate even for just stating obvious things about the characters that are even in the wiki
like poison being non binary, i had to screenshot that part of the fucking wiki and pin it because i guess it's very convenient to ignore that ONE part, and then when you obviously dislike that, they make it seem like you're exaggerating when you're just OBVIOUSLY bothered and just telling them to stop forcing a male or female label on a character canonically that isn't either and it's literally in the wiki, i don't mean only making them 100% androgynous but i think people here are already aware that gender and gender expression aren't the same thing, by all means do draw them fucking with gender as much as possible i love that concept (/nf of course)
can we just stop trying to force binarity on nb characters and for fuck's sake stop trying to find a reason to validate doing that. Why are you so intensely afraid of the fact that a character of two 4 minute long MVs from 13 years ago simply happens to be non binary wtf
i'm just happy as a non binary person to see a non binary character that isn't meant to be a mean joke towards us, or a useless background character with practically no identity or a horrible character that has pleasure in being evil and uses their androgyny to trick people with evil purposes (that's an uncomfortably common trope and it honestly gets really tiring) it's amazing how some people even make a huge fucking effort to try to find things to validate forcing binarity or even straight up cisgenderity (?idk if that word exists, english isn't my first language) on them
