i think you worrying george might get replaced and merc having to get max and kimi is just paranoia; like toto be saying names at this point like he might mention a retired f1 driver that has nothing to do with a merc seat and yall will be like "omg he's wanting that driver to be at the merc seat to replace george or be his teammate" when he's just naming shit lol

george is their driver and has given them poles and podiums and points doubt they'll try to get his replaced

Look, you're ignoring the key part of F1 lore and that is that anything out of the ordinary can happen at any time. There is never a 0% chance of ANYTHING happening. It's not paranoia to state that if Max became available teams would be looking to make space to accommodate him somehow.

I'm not immune to the fact my driver could get replaced at any time for any reason, whether I think it's justified or not. I know there's a lot of George fans (and Lewis fans) convinced there's some super secret bond that runs so deep that Merc will never get rid of George now and because he's said he wants to stay there until he retires that that's going to happen because he's the anointed heir to the Mercedes throne but there's no absolutes in F1 and you need to stop being so naive.

Right now, George has a contract until the end of 2025 and there's no guarantees of ANYTHING that is happening after that until they announce otherwise. Until he has a contract signed, nothing is certain. I cannot believe I even need to say this given the driver shenanigans we've had in the last few YEARS even. Remember when Piastri couldn't possibly go to McLaren because Ricciardo was in that seat for another 18 months???...
