BABY MANTIS INCIDENT!!!!!! WHAT DO I DO
#got something strange from my grandpa about a week ago and i KNEW it was a mantis egg case....i am a father now!!!!#unfortunately IT IS THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. EVERYONE'S SLEEPING AND I AM LEFT TO DEAL WITH SO MANY LITTLE GUYS#lucky i even saw them to be honest. was sitting down to charge my devices and heard a strange noise worried it was a mouse or something#nope! crackling from the paper bag which i'd placed around them so that i didn't one day wake up to Mantis Hell#bugs#peridots-nonsense#i so badly want to keep some....i don't think i'm a good caretaker of living things though generally. gonna look up what to do now#hope it's safe to keep them overnight in there? writing a sticky note to break the news upon my family some hours from now :3#alright whatever. hit post. mantises
