so I fucking. went to a really neat talk this evening, hosted by my old school. had a great time, somehow managed to get one of two winning raffle tickets (!!?!) for copies of the speaker's book that they were giving away (!!!!). took a little bike tour through campus on the way home, which was fun and also slightly unnerving (??? passage of time????).

and y'all. within that whole process. I'm 95% certain I dropped my phone and left it at my seat in the school auditorium. 🙃. 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃.

i had been playing this rpg for a long time, but never got my character to date any of the marriageable npcs. so i got bored one day and got my character to date an npc. as soon as i saw that romance, blushing dialogue, directed at my character, me, the player, oh my god did my romance-ambivalent (kinda repulsed) aroace self immediately go break up asap. never again. and when i look back im like damn that is one of my biggest romance-repulsed aroace moments

So going into this game+encountering mutant Pokemon the first couple times, I knew what I was getting into & that this game would definitely have a darker take in general, but-?!?!?!?! EXCUSE ME?!?!?! I found this under the BIG-big city's slums who's name currently escapes me, your character blacks out+comes to back on the surface again after you try to get to close, but-is ANY further context about this thing given at all later on/is it ever encountered again properly, or is this giant, awful Eldritch Organ(I'm assuming it's a giant heart because it ominously BEATS LIKE ONE complete with SFX) in the sewers just NEVER touched upon again???

Thawne lets out a grunt and stumbles back a few steps as the hero's fist connects with his face. An audible growl of frustration escapes him as he rubs his jaw and straightens himself up. In the next instance he pulls out a blaster from his jacket's inner pocket and pointed it at Tim as his temper over took him for a moment.
