eternally angry that in sailor moon when usagi came home with a bad grade her mother would lock her out of the house for hours and they played it off as comedic relief without once acknowledging how fucked up it was when her mother could have simply tried to understand why usagi had so much difficulty in school, or idk not deprive her of the most basic human necessity of having a roof over her head?
#my grandfather would kick me and my brother out of the house when we were kids just because we were having fun and that annoyed him#and itd be raining outside and we’d have to wait hours for our mother to come back home and let us back in#and we’d be on the doorstep just begging our grandfather to let us back in without hearing any answer and yknow what. not once did it feel#like a funny aha moment#nor did i ever go like ‘oh wow this punishment has been most enlightening i have now understood that i cant have fun because thats immoral’#like wtf#her mother was shitty as fuck for that#she’d give usagi such a hard time for not doing well in school like okay perhaps its your fucking fault for not helping her in the slighest#???? thats your fucking kid the least you could do is be gentle about her struggles and try to help#locking your own kid outside of their home is such a fucked up punishment wtf you just gonna let them be out in the streets till nightime???#kids shows shouldnt make me this angry but im an aries rising and if theres one thing im gonna do is be livid
