Nightmares and Movie Nights
"You're useless."
Logan gasped loudly as he quickly sat up on his bed as he was awoken by a nightmare again. He tried to catch his breath, his whole body trembling from fear. He was having the same nightmares this past week and they made him feel horrible.
He had been restless because of those dreams, waking him up in the middle of the night or the early morning while everyone was fast asleep. Sometimes he would sob quietly as he laid wide awake in his bed, certain scenes from his nightmare continue to replay in his head.
Logan took a deep and shaky breath before running his hands through his unkempt hair, closing his eyes for a bit, trying not to cry. He felt overwhelmed by the nightmare, his usual stoic façade crumbling, all of his pent-up emotion pouring out all at once.
Being told he was useless, a nobody and unimportant or being ignored did hurt him real hard. It felt like his metaphorical heart was figuratively crushed under a boulder, destroying it into tiny little pieces that cannot be put together.
He reached for his glasses and put them on before getting out of his bed, heading out of his room to go get a glass of water, or maybe he can make himself some tea so it would help him fall back to sleep.
As he was about to climb down the stairs, he noticed light illuminating from the living room and a faint noise from the TV can be heard. It seemed that the others were still having their movie night.
When he got down, he saw the others were already asleep other than Roman who was still engrossed with the movie he was watching. Janus was sat at the corner of the couch and he had his hat cover his face while he slept, Patton was right beside the deceitful facet and he had his head rested on Janus' shoulder while snoring softly. Virgil was curled up beside Roman and Remus... well... he was splayed out on the floor.
Roman seems to noticed Logan and had waved at him, smiling softly. "Oh hey there, Logan!"He called out, careful not to wake the others. Logan greeted back as he walked up to the other, "Hello, Roman, why are you still awake at this late evening?". The princely side chuckles at the other, "I could ask you the same thing too, Specs. Anyway, to answer your question, I'm just finishing this movie and then I'll go sleep. Now, how about you?".
Logan was slightly a bit lost for words. He can't just simply tell the other that he was having a nightmare, he was worried about what the other might think about him. He answers, "I felt thirsty and I also wanted to check on you all.". He then headed towards the kitchen, trying to avoid the flamboyant side's gaze.
"Aww, that's sweet of you, Specs."
Logan only hummed in response as he grabbed a mug, filling it up with water. After he finished drinking, he headed back to his room after he said goodnight to Roman while hoping to go back to sleep again.

Days passed since that night, Logan's nightmares had lessened but he still have them once in a while, but they weren't that extreme like the previous ones.
It was now Thursday and that means the others were going to have another movie night since they always did that every Thursday. Everyone will be in the living room, except for him, getting ready to watch a movie that had the most votes (though Roman usually rigs it). He mostly skips their movie night and head to bed early and also to avoid seeing him wake up from a nightmare if he ever fell asleep in one of their movie nights.
Logan was already in his pajamas, his back against the headboard while a book was in his hand, reading his book in peace. But that moment was ruined when there was a knock at the door. Logan sighed with sheer annoyance before closing his book and neatly placing it on top of his nightstand.
He got up from his bed and went to check on who had knocked on his door. "What is it that you want?" Logan raised a question, looking at the creative facet in front of him.
"I'm inviting you to my movie night instead since the others are busy tonight. I'll play your favorite movie if you join me. Please?"Roman says with a bright smile formed on his lips, looking at the intellectual side with pleading eyes like a little puppy.
Logan stared at him for a bit before hesitantly agreeing with the other, "Alright then, where would your movie night be?". Roman whispered 'yes' to himself triumphantly then answered the glasses-clad man's question. "In my room.".
The logical facet nodded his head understanding, stepping out of his room, closing the door behind him. Roman grinned before marching to his room with pure excitement, Logan following behind him.
They soon then arrived. Roman opened the door and moved out of the way so Logan could pass. "After you, specs~," He said while bowing dramatically to Logan like the gentleman that he is.
Logan rolled his eyes at the other's ridiculous gesture and went inside as Roman follows behind him. He sat down on the bed as he waits for Roman to turn on the TV.
After the princely side put a movie on, he plopped down beside Logan and played the movie with the remote, then carelessly tossing the remote on his bed.
"It's starting!!"
"Yes, I know that."

Logan had fallen asleep in the middle of the movie, his head rested on Roman's shoulder. The creative facet didn't notice that Logan had already fallen asleep not until he heard soft snoring, he turned to look at where it came from, and suddenly a soft smile formed on his lips.
The logical and oh so stoic Logan was fast asleep, his glasses askew and was almost falling off his face, his mouth slightly hung agape. He carefully takes off Logan's glasses and puts it away, then brushing away some of the hair that had fallen on the sleeping nerd's face. He must admit, Roman found it quite adorable and precious. He was thankful to be blessed with such sight. He quietly chuckled before turning back to the TV to continue watching the movie that was still playing.
Logan ran and ran as fast as he could throughout a forest. He was running away from a huge monster that had suddenly appeared. It was pitch black and had piercing red eyes, the monster looked like it was scribbled and a few words were floating around its large body. Those floating words served as some kind of weapon since they slowly formed into spikes and were thrown at him, Logan trying so hard to dodge them.
His foot, unfortunately, got caught on a tree root as he ran, making him trip and fall over. Before he could even stand up, a spike then pierced through his back causing so much pain to Logan. And suddenly, the ground seemed to shake and it crumbled beneath the logical facet.
Panic coursed throughout the Logic's body as he was now falling through an endless hole on the ground. Words in red appeared in thin air and voices started to whisper to Logan's ears.
"So annoying"
"Useless"
"Must be ignored"
"Serves no importance"
"Just duck out"
The movie credits were now rolling, indicating the movie was now over. Roman grinned before turning to Logan, though his grin immediately faltered. Logan was hyperventilating and tears had streamed down his face, he was sobbing quietly but he was still asleep. He was having a nightmare.
Roman grew worried and gently shook the other awake. It took a few seconds for Logan to wake up and when he did, he burst into tears, clinging tightly to Roman. The creative side pulled the other in for a hug as he assured him, rubbing his hand on his back to comfort.
He never saw Logan cry before nor did he even shed a single tear. He never saw the logical facet show vulnerability to anyone at all. And seeing the usually stoic and cold side break into tears made his heart ache.
"It's going to be alright, I'm here."He whispers assuring words to Logan as he cradled him in his arms. The logical side was sniffling, hugging tightly to Roman like he was never going to let go.
A few minutes had passed, both of them had stayed at that position, never letting go of each other. Logan still clung to Roman but he wasn't crying anymore, he was lost in his thoughts.
"Do you...wanna talk about it?"Roman queries as he glanced down at Logan, gently petting his hair. Logic only shook his head 'no' as a response.
"Please do not tell the others about this tomorrow..."
"Why not?"
"Just please, don't."
Roman nodded his head in agreement and didn't ask further questions anymore. He closed his eyes for a bit and started to hum a familiar tune while he still cradled Logan. And soon after, Logan had fallen back to sleep, a small smile formed on his lips.
Roman smiles at the sight, carefully laying Logan down on the mattress. He got up from his bed and pulled the covers on Logan before he went to turn off the TV.
Logan woke up in the morning well-rested and with no nightmares. He then found himself in Roman's arms, the creative side still asleep. A small smile formed on Logan's lips before cuddling close to the other, deciding he's going to stay in bed a little longer.
