My intro post was kinda outdated, so I've decided to make a new one! I still suck at them but I'll try make this one a bit better!

difference between demigirl, girlflux, and genderfae (masc versions: demiboy, boyflux, and genderfaun)

welllll , lemme give a little explanation for you !

a demigirl (by my understanding) is someone who doesn’t fully identify as a girl/woman . that womanly/femininity of a woman/girl feeling is there , but not entirely if that makes sense .

being girlflux (by my understanding) means that you fluctuate from feeling agender/genderless to feeling some range of femininity . basically , the intensity on how fem you feel fluctuates (hence the flux at the end there) . and you don’t have to fluctuate just between feeling agender/genderless and feeling more feminine ! other genders can be involved too from what ik !

a genderfae person (by my understanding) is kinda like being genderfluid , but you don’t fluctuate between masc-aligning genders , you’re kinda closer with those fem-aligning genders if that makes sense ? basically , you don’t really feel those male/masc-aligning genders when you’re genderfae .

^ it’s a bit like girlflux , i know , but girlflux is more about how fem you feel, rather than genderfae which is more about feeling fem itself . but then how are those different from being a demigirl ? well , being a demigirl is just that partial feeling of being a woman/girl along with whatever else you feel along w/ that , instead of being abt the amount of femininity you feel on a given day (girlflux) , or not really encountering any masculine gender identities as your gender fluctuates (genderfae)

Eshed is exclusive to those who are Jewish (heritage or religion) and whose gender is fluid in some way. It can be genderfluid, genderflux, or have a fluid characteristic, such as boyflux, or fluid between alignments or gender expression.

Heres a definition i got from the gender wiki:

"Boyflux, manflux, or guyflux, is a subset of genderflux in which one feels fluctuating intensities of manhood.

An example of a boyflux person's experience of gender may be a boy 50% of the time, agender 25% percent of the time, and a mix of the two in-between or around those. The intensity can fluctuate over any period of time."

Since its an identity under the genderflux umbrella, you may be both genderflux and boyflux :)

So I've been identifying as Boyflux for a while, and I just love the term! Really simple to understand :D! However, as much as I feel like a dude but not "in a binary way" Agender, or any combination of those, I don't really like calling myself Non-Binary. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against either Non-Binary people or the label itself, but someone referring to me as Non-Binary feels really awful for me even though my gender is *not* binary. I hope this doesn't sound weird, but my gender is not "Binary", but also not "Non-Binary". I'm really sorry if this sounds both mean and confusing T-T

You. Don't. Have. To. Use. A. Label. Just. Because. You. Fit. The. Definition.

If nonbinary isn't a label you identify with you don't have to use it, labels are about what's useful and comfortable to you personally, not about what technically applies to you. You don't have to use nonbinary the same way nonbinary people don't have to identify as trans (even though the definition applies to them).
