i love how they’re all mourning kug so consistently. rowan sings auld lang syne in times square and sofia pours out a drink and a bacon and egg sandwich for her hangover buddy goodbye old friend and wherever you are kug, eat and they take care of his sons and they carry on his work and they found whole organisations in his honour and kingston names his dog after him and then pete buys them all keychains to commemorate kug’s “graduation” and sofia went on another long bender because she couldn’t handle the loss and things go to shit because nobody’s keeping an eye on the sewers anymore and ricky reassures the homeless man that he wasn’t seeing things, there really was a rat once that went around helping the homeless but he’s gone now and -

my makeup routine always changes and atm i am sooo into white or silver shadow, rosy shimmery cheeks, mascara and brown lipliner with gloss. so easy so quick it makes me feel like a 00s vs angel

I started a new Stardew Valley save with the new update :) I'm roleplaying as a Hobbit. My main Stardew Valley character is Bear, and when thinking of a name for this one I thought of Goldberry (Tom Bombadil's lady) so I named this Hobbit farmer Berry :)) my black cat is named Shadowfax (I know the horse is white, but it's fitting). When I do get a horse I'll name him Fatty Lumpkin. I'll name all my other animals various Middle Earth inspired names as well. I think I'll marry Elliot bc he is like an elf :))) also I named my farm Bag End

One quirk that took me a while to sort of feel in my current city is in the overwhelming majority of white australian citizens in this place, despite me being a white Australian no one has a face like me. Back in melb there was of course my family (extended family also) but there were literally thousands of other people with a story like mine and the face to show it. There were other slavic people on the train, overhearing russian in a store, a little deli run by a ukrainian family. In my workplace, all the white people are are from the UK within 3 to 20 generations. One has an italian grandmother for spice.

Its very strange coming from a city that really is made of immigrants and really internalising the view that Australian means your parents came here from anywhere. These descendants of convicts and white Australia policy migrants (white Australia was specifically to re-english the place after a bunch of incorrectly white mainland European refugees came) have far too much say in government policy. Also their lunches and clothes and celebratory rituals are boring and empty even to them. Why do you all wear shoes inside.

i don’t think i’ve ever had brunch at a restaurant in my little country fried life BUT. i have indulged in an eggs benedict or two in my time and i quite enjoy it…. i do ask them to take off the ham though i hate ham. sorry ham. and then i would get a caramel latte with it but no more coffee for meeee so uh. matcha if im feelin frisky
