I have a feeling that Sanji and Zoro’s death pact will be properly resolved in Elbaf, as it certainly doesn’t feel like we’re done with it. And while Elbaf is gearing up to be very Usopp-centric (and I can not overstate how hyped I am to see him take the spotlight again, finally), let’s not forget that this all ties back to Little Garden, the arc that properly introduced Zoro and Sanji’s rivalry by paralleling them with two rival giants who fought each other every day for over a century, but who also lost themselves in their grief when one thought the other death. The parallel isn’t even subtle, Little Garden’s biggest landmarks are the remnants of Dorry and Brogy’s dinosaur hunting competition. You know. The very same competition Zoro and Sanji posed to each other at the start of the arc?
But here’s the thing. I’m a little worried about how it’s going to be resolved. Because. Despite how readily Zoro agreed to kill Sanji if need be, he must have known that the crew would never forgive him. Zoro is Luffy’s specialest guy but Luffy would not accept any excuse as to why Sanji had to die. Nor anyone else in the crew. But. Does Sanji realize that?
Does he know that killing him would literally be the hardest thing Zoro would ever do, because it would mean literally betraying his Captain and crew? Luffy said he can’t become Pirate King without Sanji, and Zoro and Luffy swore they’d commit fucking ritualistic suicide if they got in the way of each other’s dreams, so does Sanji know where that would leave the swordsman in this case? With no Captain, no crew, and yet another dead rival and best friend (who, mind you, began to live in fear of his own biology betraying him right before dying. but the parallels between Kuina and Sanji and how they relate to Zoro could be a long ass post for another day).
I think he doesn’t know. But he can’t find out how Zoro would mourn him unless the pact actually follows through. But still, I don’t think Oda would kill Sanji, cause that’s no way to resolve this issue. So here’s my speculation about how I think it could potentially play out, following that initial line of thinking of the death pact’s resolution being set in Elbaf, specifically because of Sanji and Zoro’s parallels to Dorry and Brogy.
Like Brogy, Zoro would have to believe that he killed Sanji. That he won their final duel. He’d have to believe that Sanji has fallen and, also like Brogy, have to face that grief and hurt all alone. But in the end, like Dorry, Sanji would survive, having never actually been hurt. Because their edges have dulled after fighting for so long, no longer as capable of landing killing blows as they thought. “Not even the blades of Elbaf could endure two giants fighting for 100 years”? Something of the sort. And maybe this line of speculation is simplistic or optimistic, but the chances of it playing out like this aren’t zero, so just in case, I would want to be able to say that I called it.

So, with the Y/N and Springtrap plan/Rabbit Restoration Project, I was already like: “I’m not really going to make a full fic for it.” But, then, I thought of the endings...
Then, I got a fun idea for the third option that I mentioned, and then it just kind of progressed immediately after that moment. So, y’know. Anyways.
Here it is- I’m not that certain if it’s all that great, buuuut...
Y/N hadn’t understood why Springtrap had gotten up and abruptly left—it was strange. He wasn’t explaining.
They remembered him telling them: “I’ll never leave you, love.” And... with how he had sounded, he seemed genuine.
It wasn’t that strange of a set up—they’d already been living together ever since they chose to bring him back for restoring.
Now though, it had been a bit different—not too much, but just slightly... due to the fact that they had chosen to get together.
They tried to keep him away from some people, though—considering one of the last times, someone broke in, wanting to steal his parts.
‘Only Max and my viewers seemed relaxed about him... now, at least.’ Y/N had thought. It had definitely taken a bit of time—even them.
Throughout the whole walk, they’d tried asking him questions—and the rabbit would speak, yet, he wasn’t revealing much.
Forty minutes ago, he’d finally mentioned *something*—at least they were getting somewhere. Literally and figuratively.
“A pizzeria...” Came the smooth, British voice from the restored rabbit. “There’s someone I... need to pay a little visit to, Y/N.”
Thirty minutes ago, they’d both stopped to rest. Or, Y/N did, and Springtrap simply waited alongside them.
Twenty minutes ago, Springtrap revealed that he knew they were getting closer. “You should go home.” He’d said.
They’d refused. “I’m staying with you, Spring. We’ll go back together after this.”
Ten minutes ago, the both of them had finally reached the pizzeria that Springtrap seemed insistent on going to.
From the outside... Y/N wasn’t sure what to think. It was a Freddy’s location—and until this moment, they’d never actually been to one.
Entering the building, the first things that the two of them had been able to see was a massive stage—as well as a smaller one to the side.
There were a lot of games, too, and Y/N had almost been tempted to go and play one—but they chose not to.
Two minutes ago, the building had started to heat up. Y/N wasn’t sure if it was their imagination or not—they always felt a little hot.
After glancing at Springtrap, he hadn’t seemed to notice. They still weren’t very certain on what he could or couldn’t feel.
A few seconds ago... the building went up in flames.
“Oh my God!” Y/N hissed, eyes widening. The flames danced around, as smoke quickly rose.
They stumbled backwards, hitting Springtrap’s side. Looking up at him, he seemed to be far more focused on something else.
They could hear a new voice—an unknown voice—beginning to speak from somewhere. Yet, they paid no attention, only focusing on Springtrap.
The entrances and exits were closing. They could see that from the corners of their eyes.
Springtrap’s attention finally snapped back to Y/N. “We need to get you out of here! Now!” He said.
Before Y/N had the chance to say anything, they were lifted up by the rabbit, who began running through the flaming pizzeria.
There was the entrance that they’d both gone through—Springtrap started hurrying over to it.
However... just as the rabbit and the human reached it, something abruptly closed over it, blocking the doors.
Growling in annoyance, Springtrap set Y/N beside him, and grabbed at the doors tightly.
The rabbit started pulling and tugging—and then he started slamming his fists into it—even kicking at it.
Yet, nothing happened. Growling again, Springtrap started to look around further, trying to find a different way.
A little distance away, in another room of the pizzeria, seemed to be a much smaller exit door. It hadn’t been closed yet.
“Woah-!” Y/N was picked up by the rabbit once more, and he started making his way towards the exit.
“Springtrap-!”
“Shush, Y/N.” The fear slipped through the rabbit’s voice. It was starting to close. “You’ll get-“
A good distance away from the exit door—a good distance from the two of them—a new, sudden voice rang out. “Daddy?!”
Y/N watched as the rabbit suddenly went still, the pair of ears atop his head twitching. He looked around. “...Elizabeth?”
Y/N frowned. “...Springtrap?”
For a few seconds, the rabbit looked around further—towards where the voice had come from, back at Y/N, and the door.
He set Y/N down in front of him, his grey glowing eyes gently staring down at the human. Y/N’s frown grew.
“Springtrap, what-“
Springtrap placed his giant, metal hands on Y/N’s shoulders. “Y/N... go. I love you, my dear.”
“W- Springtrap, I-“ The restored rabbit pulled them closer, placing his lips against theirs for just a moment, before releasing.
Before Y/N had the chance to do much else—still processing the fire situation—Springtrap moved closer, and shoved them.
They gasped in surprise. His shove was enough to get them through the exit door—and, just in time, too.
As Y/N stumbled out of the door, landing on their bottom, it snapped just a second or two later.
They sat there for a moment in silence, eyes wide.
“Springtrap...?” Their voice cracked. They could feel their heart beginning to quicken. Y/N got to their feet.
“SPRINGTRAP!” They hurried towards the door, and started banging on it. “W-What are you doing?? Why did you do that?!”
Y/N kept banging against it. “I... we were going to leave together! I love you, too!” They’d heard that voice... who had it been?
Their fists began to hurt, so, Y/N stopped for a moment. Only to grab at the edges—attempting to pry open the door.
In those moments before the fire, when they’d both simply been looking around... Y/N hadn’t noticed many entrances and exits.
They could feel their eyes becoming watery. “Come on, come on!” They kept trying to pry open the door—although, it seemed useless.
After continuously trying for over two minutes, Y/N finally stopped, backing away. “I... I’ll get something! I’ll get something! Hold on!”
Y/N ran off.
~~
They considered going back to their house to grab something to help—but, that would have taken far too long with the circumstances.
So, rather than that, they ran a good distance from the burning pizzeria—ignoring anything that may be happening around them.
They weren’t keeping track of how long they were gone for—yet, Y/N had assumed with, how fast they were going, it was only a few minutes.
...It wasn’t.
After finally managing to find *something* that could potentially help with getting inside, and getting the rabbit, they hurried back.
The item fell out of their hands as they arrived. Y/N stared up at the sight.
There was no longer a fire—it didn’t seem like it. For however long Y/N was gone... the building was already in a horrible condition.
One of the more noticeable things to Y/N, however, was that there seemed to be a large hole in the wall. ‘A way inside...’
Hurrying through the wall, Y/N started running, trying not to trip and fall over anything laying around.
Those animatronics were still on the stage—though, some of them were fallen over. All of them didn’t look the greatest now.
“Springtrap!” Nothing.
“SPRING-“ Just as they entered another area, they tripped and fell. Confused, Y/N looked back. ‘A metal wire?’ It looked like it belonged to an animatronic.
Getting back to their feet, Y/N continued running around, calling out for the rabbit—and simply getting no response.
Their eyes were starting to become watery again, but Y/N quickly started to wipe before anything managed to fall.
Entering the next room in their search, Y/N sighed. “SPRING-“ Getting a full look in the room, they gasped.
To the back of the room, there was a broken clown girl animatronic on the ground. Bits of the destroyed pizzeria were on top of her.
‘She must have gotten stuck...’
Not too far from the clown girl... was a rabbit—Springtrap. He was laying face down, motionless, and burned.
“Springtrap!” Y/N yelled. A second passed, before they managed to get their feet to start moving again.
After a moment, they reached Springtrap’s side, falling to their knees. “S-Springtrap?!” They shook him.
He remained still. Unmoving. Grabbing the sides of him, Y/N managed to move the animatronic rabbit, so that he was on his back.
So that Y/N could see his face.
His eyes were opened—normally, his gray eyes had a sort of glow to them. But, now? There was nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Y/N could feel themself starting to shake. They could feel the tears, finally beginning to spill. “Hey... hey! Wake up! Do... something!”
They let go for a moment, before reaching over, and gently grabbing the sides of his face. “This... this isn’t funny, Springtrap! Say something! Move!”
A moment later, they dropped him again—albeit carefully. Through their tears, they looked around the room—just for a moment, before their focus fell back onto him.
“Why... why would you-“ Y/N started, only to be interrupted by their own sob. The human shut their eyes tightly.
They inched closer to the motionless rabbit—more than they already were, before wrapping their arms around him, and their head fell onto his chest.
“I love you...”

just had a realization as to why I find the Leave as Gods ending pretty chill and something I’d actually wouldn’t mind doing–
I’m nonbiney, xenogender, and relate more to abstract concepts than my own body, becoming a concept too great for anyone but yourselves and your literal soulmate to understand is literally my dream lmao.

You’re allowed to enjoy the parts of you that can cause you to struggle btw. You’re allowed to enjoy being autistic. You’re allowed to enjoy having adhd. You’re allowed to enjoy being any type of neurodivergent, really. You’re allowed to appreciate the positive aspects of any disorders you have if there are any. You’re allowed to be happy with not being able-bodied. You’re allowed to enjoy being plural. You’re allowed to enjoy being therian/alterhuman/otherkin. You’re allowed to enjoy the things that change how you experience the world even if they may cause you to struggle. Being different and having struggles doesn’t mean you should hate your differences. These parts of your experience/identity are allowed to be fun btw.

I have the good place and obey me brainrot so a lil merge
What if MC dies and due to their ties with both angels and demons lands them as a perfect 50/50. MC gets their own Cincinnati Medium place and becomes the new mindy st. Clair, never allowed to leave or contact their friends to let them know they exist outside of the celestial realm or the devildom, and nobody knows where MC went after they died.
(Ig if we’re going based on the good place, the om equivalent of Janet- Barbatos?- just lets them get a train down one day and casually mentions that he’s known the whole time lol)

There’s an idea that’s been on my mind for the last several months, and while it’s not FNaF related at all, I still want to share it because I like it.
It’s entirely fantasy—it would be surprising if it wasn’t, given everything that’s involved it, but, Anyways-
It follows Binx—an (anthro) jackalope, their sibling Rox, and a few others that I’ll eventually get to. But, for right now, I’m going to focus on these two. Getting straight to the point... Rox died.
Some time before the main plot would start happening, Rox proceeded to get captured by someone, lost her antlers and an arm, and then was killed. Binx found him—but it was too late.
And while, at first, Binx doesn’t do anything major, and simply grieves over their sibling, until they remember something—resurrection. Rox is gone for about a month before it happens.
Basically stealing something that can actually cause the revival, Binx immediately went into the process of trying to revive their older sibling, not wanting her gone any longer.
However, here’s the thing about resurrection in this world. It’s obviously a thing that can be done—it can be successful—but it’s not an easy thing. You could have whatever to cause a resurrection, but it has the possibility to not work.
There’s only about a 9% chance of any revival/resurrection actually ever succeeding—and Binx just happened to get lucky. But even then, there’s more problems going on.
While it brought Rox back, and healed the bare minimum, one: she’s still needing time to to actually recover. Two: Rox can barely remember anything after being brought back.
He still remembers certain things—who he is, going on adventures—dying, etc. However, Rox is unable to remember Binx at all, among other people and other certain things.
And then comes another problem. While actually being alive now, the whole resurrection doesn’t seem to be a permanent one. It basically worked, but only a little bit?
Think of it as a spell—Binx revives their sibling—she’s alive again—not a sort of zombie or anything—but slowly, the spell is disappearing, and soon, Rox will die again. But, clearly, Binx doesn’t want that.
...But, in other words: Never try to resurrect anyone here. It just sucks.
So, what follows is basically: Binx must try to find a way to fully save their sibling before it’s too late, as well as wanting to get Rox’s memories back—while Rox himself... doesn’t really want that.
I don’t think I’m doing that great at describing this—but, trust me, there’s a lot to it, but I just don’t know how to describe it the best.
That whole situation isn’t the only thing going on—because, at the same time as that, there’s a villain (of course) going around, and the siblings need to be protected.
Uhhh... yeah. That’s all I have to say.

I read all of The Honest Life of a Game Studio and now I am obsessed do you have recs for anything like it.
I wish. I FUCKING WISH. but it’s really one of a kind. higefusa really just wrote mundane slice of life office drama with the level of detail that could only be provided by a gamer who has worked in the industry AND he threw in some life or death stakes as a treat. how often do we get an incredibly normal office worker stuck in time prison??? and it’s ONE ARC??? not often enough.
none of these are gonna be just like game-ya but in terms of romances with attention to detail for industry/niche fields… ok all of these are gonna be kind of weird so bear with me.
double section is a BL about an auditor for an insurance company and an insurance salesman, I wouldn’t necessarily give it a blanket rec but I liked how Passionate the main characters were about audits and workplace regulations. a lot of heated drama for the most normal office setting possible. in the author’s note the artist talks about interviewing health insurance salesmen.
ginmokusei is more of a conventional BL but it’s about a guy who inherited his grandpa’s tailor shop and an ex maître d who shows up and demands to help him before he goes bankrupt. there’s a little bit about branding and marketing and bank loans. what has Always Stayed With Me is when the love interest basically goes like ‘you’re using all these flashy ads and being really pushy with discounts. are you selling beef bowls.’ every time I pass a clothes shop that goes really flashy with the discount banners I think ‘are they selling beef bowls…’
panel x magic. okay I said it was going to be weird. so this yuri is about a recent graduate who applies for office jobs and ends up doing image editing for… I guess a brothel? it doesn’t go into critiques of the sex industry, but I thought it was interesting how it takes a really logistical perspective in terms of marketing, advertising, and image manipulation… one of the chapters has the main character going like ‘oh god I’m trying to edit this risqué photo by making the thighs thinner and giving the face a glow-up but I keep making the model look like a weird alien this looks like something from a photo booth’ and gets advice from her coworkers like ‘hey why don’t you look up makeup tutorials to get a sense of what to touch up.’ hasn’t been translated in a while but it kind of hits that… really in-depth look at the logistics of a job.
I think there’s more I’m not remembering at the moment, at one point I think sundry made a joke about rating office romances by how much office work is shown. there’s a couple ones that *kinda* fit but not really… wait. wait wait wait. WAIT. oh my god it has such a h•rny title. okay. so I’m being 100% sincere when I say that the main story for hammered and pounded is a BL with interesting office politics. it’s also incredibly h•rny, but game-ya gets pretty h•rny so whatever. but yeah there’s a whole subplot where the love interest, who works in sales, has actually always wanted to work in R&D, and it becomes A Whole Thing where the head of R&D is in conflict with the head of sales over whether or not a transfer is gonna happen and there’s no romance involved with the conflict it’s all office politics
and in a similar vein, to your right, you will see my boyfriend is about a guy who’s working as a tour guide in kyoto and at the artist talks about how she used to work as a tour guide. I think it’s fun, though I have my qualms. the main character does do studying about how to be an effective tour guide and goes from being like ‘ugh I’m saying all the facts but no one’s listening’ to ‘haha check out this extremely long name of the temple we’re about to see! make sure to remember it, it’ll be the password for getting off the bus ;D’
I have another category of vaguely similar vibes of genre bending mundane office work + fantastical situations
tokusatsu gagaga is a gen series that’s a BIG fave of mine, the main character is an OL who loves tokusatsu so she imagines a lot of scenarios with that sort of vibe. it’s not diagetic, but it’s really fun when it’s stuff like ‘I’M AT KARAOKE WITH MY COWORKERS BUT I CAN’T OUT MYSELF AS A TOKUSATSU OTAKU THIS IS JUST LIKE BEING ATTACKED BY A KARAOKE-THEMED MONSTER EMERJASON HELP ME!!!!’ the eng tl hasn’t been updated in a while but there’s a live action adaption that’s really good
magilumiere co. ltd. is a gen series that’s basically ‘what if magical girls were like… sanitation workers for monsters’ so it’s a lot of company logistics in a fantastical setting. I don’t think I got that far into it before getting distracted, but it was interesting (though perhaps overly generous/idealistic about start-ups as a concept).
