the thought that will forever plague my head is the fact the wizard and dasein are so similar. the wizard definitely sees themselves in him. this is so obvious given the fact dasein takes on the paradox form. their friendship will always ruin me

they're both not from this world. they both are brought in, not really understanding it, but look forward to what they must do. they both are working towards making a name for themselves in the way where the wizard becomes the spiral's hero and dasein just wants to become Something. They both realize "oh man the spiral is kinda. whack. and the things ive seen/had to do for people without any outside support system r even worse"

dasein looks up to the wizard so much and it's so sad how it ends up overwhelming him and hurting him instead. and the wizard has probably felt that way too. the wizard also probably feels awful that someone else tried to be just like them, understand how it feels to be in their shoes, and it ended up hurting him and scaring him away

they're just. mirror images of each other. Screams And punches the wall.!!! The entirety of arc 4 felt like an indirect way of saying "Hey what if the wizard just went insane" except it doesnt use the wizard, it uses dasein. and the wizard just. has to watch. the wizard has to save someone else from the same fate. but nobody is really there to save the wizard Huh Oops Anyways

really excited for wallaru because i need to know if dasein gets the happy ending he deserves. the wizard will probably feel at ease to finally have someone to relate to. they both need a break already Please

not sure if people have talked about this dialogue bit but the double meaning of it makes me SOOO unwell you have no idea

like we can assume that in this instance the wizard is the beacon of light defeater of shadow etc etc normal standard hero stuff. bad things happen so the hero shows up

BUT KNOWING WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF NOVUS... i cant help but feel as if theyre also implying that the wizard is the ill omen they talked about...

the fact that the narrator in w101 is an npc you can find in-game so cool to me. it also makes me wonder What the Fuck raven was doing in the first place being a narrator. did she already know the yw was special and just started voicing over their life bc of that? (am I missing a bit of lore that confirms this??) - and was this indeed just a passive description of their actions? Iirc she does stop narrating around Polaris when we start defying her - it probably just indicates a mild contempt for the yw’s actions but it would also be cool if she lost her small amt of ‘control’ over the yw around Polaris bc we got so powerful (tho that’s more headcanon territory)

going off this. i like to think, if spider ever took over narrating from raven, that he’d be an unreliable narrator - like hed give the wizard a little more freedom in their choices, or describe their actions a little to the left :}

considering ALSO….. if raven was the creator of the spiral and narrates for the yw, and dasein is outside the spiral, and created novus…. DASEIN as the narrator in novus 👀
