everyone else might already know this but i just think it’s funny that canonically The Cage takes place in 2254, so over 10 years before the start of Kirks first 5 year mission as captain. while SNW takes place around 2258-2260

(with the reveal of Carol Marcus being pregnant it would make most sense for it to be 2259 seeing as TSFS takes place in 2285, which would make David Marcus 25 at the time that movie takes place)

anyways, then the beginning of TOS is in 2265, and here’s a visual representation of why i find that funny (using spock as an example because he’s my favorite)

I’m trying to make a PowerPoint of an overview of DC with a focus on the Bats for my girlfriend. I just have no idea what to leave in and what to leave out. Any ideas? Or posts that you have that could help?

I would just keep it basic with some background info on each DC group you want to talk about. Or just a general timeline of their appearances like Dick was the first Robin, [insert background info], and then the Robin mantle was taken up by Jason Todd. If you're doing individual characters, just point out the most important aspects of them. Something like:

Dick Grayson | Robin 1 | Nightwing

Brief history: Dick came from a family of circus trapeze artists called The Flying Graysons. His parents were killed during one of their shows, and now an orphan, Dick was adopted by Bruce Wayne. Wanting justice for his parents as well as wanting to help Batman on his mission, he became the first Robin. After many years as Batman's only partner, Dick strove for independence and took on a new identity as Nightwing. He eventually made Bludhaven, NJ his base of residence, and he fights crime there while occasionally helping Batman, the Titans, or other heroes who need his aid.

Age: Mid-Late 20s

Weapon of choice: Escrima sticks

OKAY OKAY SO!! PUTTING OUT AN HC ABOUT EDDS POWERS. I really think that his powers are still there, just dormant and hard to access without any outside help. His power output is also dependent on whatever external source he’s drawing from. NOW HEHE SELF-INDULGENT TIME: In the Ew Stay AU, Eduardo has been stockpiling his powers for a while now and is able to comfortably use them. Edd and Eduardo find out that Eduardo is able to coax some sort of reaction from Edd’s powers if he: 1.) Uses his powers on Edd, 2.) Uses his powers while in physical contact with Edd.  Using his powers on Edd gives more range but has a lower power output, while physical contact gives Edd less range, of course, but a higher power output.  Is this just an excuse for me to make them have as much physical contact as possible??? idk who told you that?? not me?????
