BREAKING: A Super Bowl parade attendee comes forward and reveals that he witnessed Missouri Governor Mike Parson fleeing in fear when the shooting broke out today.

According to Chiefs fan Patrick Quaife on X(Twitter), he personally witnessed the “gun lover” governor “running scared for his life” beside him with an “army of officers protecting him.”

“I am so sick of these NRA funded politicians. #GunControlNow” concluded Quaife.

In a separate Twitter post, Governor Parson confirmed that he was in attendance at the parade.

“Governor & First Lady Parson were in attendance when shots were fired near Union Station in KC,” his account wrote. “They are safe and secure. State law enforcement personnel are assisting local authorities in response efforts. As we wait to learn more, our hearts go out to the victims.”

Once again, we see that Republican politicians are all too happy inflicting a horrible violent reality on the rest of us, but fall to pieces the moment that they are faced with the consequences of their own policies.

America’s gun problem is a direct result of Republicans and their cult-like worship of assault weapons. Parson has stated in the past that new gun laws will not stop mass shootings — an NRA talking point designed to help gun manufacturers boost their profits.

The tragic shooting unfolded at a rally to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs victory this past weekend. So far, one person has been confirmed killed and over 20 people were shot and injured. Three people have been detained for questioning.

If Governor Parson’s heart really goes out to the victims he’ll start supporting common sense gun laws.

But we all know that won’t happen. The only way to end our gun epidemic is to give Democrats a supermajority in Congress so they can pass gun laws despite MAGA objections.

The Republicans that refuse to support any form of gun control all have blood all over them.

Take a look at the names on the invitation. Among the notable figures are oligarchs Robert Mercer, Kelly Loeffler, Wilbur Ross, and Steve Wynn.

Mercer is the personal financier of Ted Cruz and gives him blank checks for each of his campaigns. He also bankrolls Breitbart and Cambridge Analytica. He’s openly racist and advocates turning the clock back to the 1950’s. He says most Americans would survive a nuclear war and the atomic bombing of Japan was advantageous for them and has made them healthier.

He has spent tens of millions fighting all gun laws in the US and helps fund the NRA. Mercer also owns the largest private machine gun collection in the Americas. When not sailing on his 203 ft yacht he strolls New Mexico with a gun and a badge as a “volunteer policeman.”

He bought a company that provides guns to movies moved it to NYC where it became a gun dealership. He procures arms from international arms dealers, some for sale but most being stockpiled for purposes unspoken. He has even procured for himself a MK-19 40mm automatic grenade launcher that is manufactured for the US military. He has his own secretive ‘’military compound” where he shoots his military weaponry and conducts other legally sketchy activities. Most of the deranged right-wing billionaires you see in the movies are loosely based on him.

People like this should not be allowed to exert influence over the government or the economy to say the least. If you read between the lines he’s prepping for a two things: 1. a hostile coup to take over the country and 2. the apocalypse that all right-wing fanatics are trying to instigate.

Never forget that Harlon Carter, the head of the NRA who transformed it from a marksmanship club into a political wing, murdered a 15-year old Mexican boy in Texas. This was during a period of racial tension at the Texas-Mexico border.

Carter deliberately turned the organization into a vehicle for waging a race war.

Not that Republicans plan on funding mental health services anyway, but these last few civilian shootings have nothing to do with mental health. Somebody turned in a man’s driveway so he shot them. A Black child knocks on the wrong door, so the resident—who said that “seeing a Black person at his door scared him to death”—shot him! Teenage cheerleaders mistakenly get into the wrong car, he shoots them!

These are all boringly routine occurrences that happen every single day when you live in a society with other human beings.

The GOP and the NRA have cowardly gun nuts armed to the teeth and afraid of their own shadow.

Getting startled is not an excuse to murder someone.

Imagining the worst about a stranger isn’t an excuse to murder someone. Nobody is responsible for the fearful imaginations of trigger happy cowards.

These are cowards. Not “Patriots”. COWARDS. Cowards who love cosplaying that they’re living in some shoot ‘em up fantasy.
