MC figuring out their home is destroyed pt. 2

No one had to. You have been missing from classes and other school activities, even Grim who’s your dorm mate claims he’s barely seen you. All of the teachers have been acting weird as well, especially Crowley, but none of the students mentioned a thing. At least not to the teachers. Rumors spread fast about the Ramshackle prefect who no one had seen in the past few days. Even your friends aren’t immune to hearing the gossip.

“Why’s Shrimpy hiding away from us now?” Floyd wines, he tried to go the Ramshackle himself, but he was stopped by Crowley. “And it’s not like the Dire is being any help right now.” Floyd thinks to himself for another few moments. “Maybe the mirror wasn’t able to send Shrimpy home, and this is all due to Dire Crowley’s lack of effort to get them home.”

Jade nods, Azul rolls his eyes at the twin’s efforts to find an answer. Now Jade speaks up. “Hey Azul, how about the weekly dorm leader meeting? You could try and find out what’s going on with [Y/N].”

“That’s assuming the Prefect isn’t exempt from the meeting, as they’ve been exempted from classes. They’ve been missing and the teachers haven’t said a thing, their name hasn’t even been called during roll.” Azul explains then right as he finishes, two idiots from Heartslabyul burst in.

“Floyd! Do you know how to pick locks?” Ace yells.

“Sort of, why?” Floyd responds, a grin creeping on his face.

“They want to pick the lock to Ramshackle and check on [Y/N].” Epel says as he walks in behind the Adeuce duo, Grim standing next to him.

“Hey! You’re making it sound like you’re not in on it too!” Deuce exclaims at the purple haired boy, Epel shrugs.

“Why don’t you ask Jack or Sebek?” Jade asks. “This seems to be a first-year get together.” Deuce and Ace looks at each other.

“Well we were going to ask Jack but he was in the middle of a run and we couldn’t catch up with him.” Deuce explains. “Yeah, and Sebek is..well…Sebek.” Ace adds.

“Do you actually have a plan?”

“We didn’t get that far-” “WHAT!”

Everyone turns after Epel yells, Rook, vice dorm leader of Pomefiore, is standing in the doorway. And before Epel can speak, Rooks offers an excuse. “Roi de Poison asked me to keep an eye on you. Now I’m here to help you get Trickster out of Ramshackle or at least get some answers. Now I know some more then others might be more against this then others, but breaking into Ramshackle isn’t the answer. We have to go to the person who’s most likely to have information AND answers.”

Everyone is quiet, trying to rack their brains. “Crowley” or “The Dire” or something of the sort is was blurted out by multiple people.

“Bingo.” Rook has a sly grin on his face, “Now here’s the plan…”

It’s a risky plan, everyone has to do their part. Even Crowley who is unaware of his own involvement. “Just wait for Crowley to start lurking around, then it’s go time.” Rook’s words play over again in Ace’s mind. Then there he was, Dire Crowley lurking, as he had been the past few days. “He’s here.”

“Dire Crowley!” It took some convincing, but it was none other then Riddle Rosehearts, dorm leader of Heartslabyul.

“Um, hello Riddle. Can we talk later, I’m a bit..how could you say…occupied..”

“No, I think we need to talk now.” Leona’s voice rings out.

“I would have to agree.” Vil Schoenheit, even agreed to take time out of his busy schedule to help.

Crowley seems to be stressed, to say the least.

One by one, all of the other dorm leaders stepped into the view of the Dire. All seven, Riddle Rosehearts, Leona Kingscholar, Vil Schoenheit, Kalim Al-Asim, Azul Ashengrotto, Idia Shroud(surprisingly), and eventually Malleus Draconia. Crowley is silent for a while.

“The information you wish is not mine to divulge,” he pauses, “but I can take you to the one you wish to see, and you can try your luck…”

“ hm let me think about it.. no.” you shook your head, letting a sigh escape your lips. you knew cater wasn’t going to budge.

this was probably his hundredth attempt of trying to convince you to have a kid with him.

it didn’t make you uncomfortable but cater’s way of convincing that made you wanna just disappear in that moment.

“ oh! oh! oh! maybe we can buy matching clothes for us three doesn’t that sound nice!? i can take a picture and upload it under the hashtags #familylife #trendy #parents”

“ y/nnnn!! don’t you like this adorable baby crib I bought!?” kalim excitedly rushed to your side, pulling you along to where a big fancy baby crib stood in the middle of the room.

your eyes widened at seeing the big price tag sticking out.. “ kalim! we don’t even have baby.. and this was basically cost tons!”

“ but i just couldn’t wait! it was on sale and plus, don’t you like the little plushies which came along with it!? mini y/n will love it!”

“ there won’t be no mini y/n anytime soon.”

rook just continued to whine as you sat and watch him fold all the baby clothes he had purchased and place them neatly back in the box.

Showing the NRC Faculty their counterpart Disney movies + Malleus part 2

(a/n: I got inspired by a comment from @a-small-tyrant to write more of twst characters watching movies, so here’s the faculty! If you want to check out the housewardens version, here it is! I wasn’t sure who Crowley was supposed to be twisted from, so sadly I didn’t add him here ;-;)

Crewel

He probably didn’t even know it was meant to be him until the last minute or so. Like the hair was really similar to his, but he didn’t pay much attention to that

He loved the dogs in the movie, all of them were so cute!

The song “Cruella De Vil” will be stuck in his head, he might hate that but you will find him humming it

He might be interested in seeing more movies, especially with dogs in it, so will end up watching Lady and the Tramp and liking it

Trein

He doesn’t really like sitting and watching movies, but will do it just this once

He knows the story of Cinderella, but can’t stand the mice friends she has. Everything else like the music’s fine

Finds the stepmother eerily similar to some of his personality, but won’t comment on this

Please show him Cinderella III, it’s going to blow his mind! Otherwise he will watch other movies and end up liking The Aristocats

Sam

He loves the music! I mean who doesn’t love “Friends on the Other Side!”

He might be a bit sad at how they portray Voodoo in the film, but he does like Dr. Facilier as a character nonetheless

He might really like Tiana’s character. She’s strong, hardworking, and overall is a fun character (not to mention her voice is just beautiful!)

He’ll want to watch more, and he’ll end up really liking more upbeat movies like The Emperor’s New Groove or maybe even Moana because of the music

Vargas

He was interested in seeing the movie, but wasn’t sure what it would entail

He thought the story was too cliché, but he did like the Gaston song a lot he thought some of the character’s personality matched him too well

He doesn’t like princess films that much, so it wasn’t a bad film but something he wasn’t too invested in

He’ll want to watch more Disney movies though, and end up liking Hercules or Mulan

Bonus: Malleus watches the Maleficent movies

There are more movies? He’s interested right away!

He does like how Maleficent isn’t portrayed in an evil way in these movies, and especially admires how powerful yet caring she is

He finds out the Lana Del Rey version of “Once Upon a Dream” and likes that one too, you might hear him singing it one day who knows

He asks you to show him more live action Disney films, and you’ll have to explain that these movies have mixed reactions, and you’ll have to pick carefully. Overall though he probably doesn’t mind if they’re bad or not, he just thinks movies in general are interesting to watch!

Characters: Riddle Rosehearts, Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade, Cater Diamond, Trey Clover, Che’nya, others. 

Summary: Just thoughts on the Royal Sword Academy, mainly for the counterparts of Heartslabyul.

Note: I just had thoughts so I decided why not share them. If y’all want, I can try to see what I can come up with for other dorms. If you want to consider the good bois as yanderes too, go for it. Yeah, if Twisted Wonderland actually confirms something for the counterparts of Heartslabyul instead of leaving it up to the imagination, these ideas will be scrapped. 

Royal Sword Academy, the very name of it is enough to send their rivals at Night Raven College into a fit. The school was prestigious and admired. If you were a prince or someone bound for a bright future, it was very likely you would find yourself at this famous academy. It looks like a palace with their charming student body that are just so unbelievably kind. They are friendly and welcoming, giving you bright smiles and engaging in pleasant conversation. They were a great deal different from their counterparts where at Night Raven College you’d have to be on your toes just to get to class on time, but here these students were all nothing but good. Almost too good. 

So let’s take a peek at these goody-two-shoes, shall we?

The dorm founded on the active imagination of the girl in blue. 

Believe it or not, it was a young noble man in an oversized blue cardigan that was the supposed “leader” of the dorm. Although, leader wasn’t really a fitting title, as most of his days were spent daydreaming. He preferred picture books over history books, but he wasn’t dumb. On the contrary, he’s knowledgable and fair to the subjects of his dorm. Even for his status as noble, he pays it no mind, not particularly interested in the lessons of class. Instead, he’d rather spend his hours exploring every inch of the flowery wonderland in his dorm with you. He feels that he could talk on and on about anything with you during this golden afternoon, from topics ranging from the lovely weather to questions to ponder on such as why don’t cats talk or the flowers sing? The young man in the blue cardigan thinks your company is absolutely delightful, so why not spend a few more moments in his company? 

The dorm responsibilities appear to fall on a nervous rabbit beastman. Every evening his big white ears can be seen over hedges as he searches for that silly boy in blue that’s wandered off yet again! If his hair weren’t already white, it would be turning white from stress! Not only that, he’s practically the noble’s babysitter! Really, the boy in blue is a good guy but he’s always got his head stuck in the clouds. Additionally, he’s always cleaning up a certain chesire cat’s mess. Please, forgive him for being a tad bit late for meeting you. A moment with you is a breath of fresh air, it allows him to collect this thoughts. He’s a bit shy around you, his cheeks go red and he has the most adorable habit of twitching his button nose when nervous. Give him a few more minutes with you, won’t you? He doesn’t mind being a teensy bit late if the time is spent with you. 

Che’nya is the only face you can recognize from his time randomly appearing in the Heartslabyul dorm. The guy gets a real kick out of messing with people, whether it be by disappearing, speaking enigmatically, or dangling answers and solutions right in front of them. Why is there a blue flamingo in the lake and a pink hedgehog in the flowers? Oh, don’t worry, he took those from Heartslabyul! Hey, wanna use them to play a game of croquet with him? When just being together in peace, expect him to hum or sing when he’s in an especially good mood. He always sings something about “twas brillig,” whatever that means. This feline is pretty fond of you, often times you’ll notice him purring as he rubs his cheek against your head. Che’nya has the oddest talent for finding you and appearing out of nowhere. Heheh, he found you again! Won’t you let him hang around you?

Now what do their counterparts at Night Raven College think? 

Heartslabyul, the dorm founded on the severity of Queen of Hearts. It’s practically the opposite of the dorm that thrived on the freedom of imagination. They had many varying opinions on their rivals. 

Riddle had heard tale of the boy in the blue cardigan running the dorm from Che’nya, and it sounded like an absolute nightmare! No rules, no structure, no reinforcement, it must’ve been a complete madhouse! He honestly wondered how they made it so far, especially with their incompetent leader’s carelessness. Just the rumors of this boy in blue was enough to irritate him. How truly utterly inept! Why would you reply on that clumsy boy when he, Riddle, was more than capable! 

Ugh, that dorm...! Okay, maybe Ace didn’t really know much about them, but who cares? They’re from Royal Sword Academy and that’s all that matters! They’re taking up your time when you should be hanging out with him! What’s so great about those snobby rich guys anyways? They’re so boring, why sit pretty with them when you could be doing stupid stuff instead! They’re always following the rules to a t, isn’t that super boring? Isn’t breaking the occasional rule with him way more fun? 

An exemplary student shouldn’t hate their rival school so much...! But god did Deuce hate them! Not because he had met them or anything, he actually knew next to nothing about them. What angered him is you thought they were exemplary! And they were! They followed rules, they were good students, they were admired, and he wanted to be like that but he couldn’t shake the bad habits. But, maybe that wasn’t so bad. You found comfort in him first, before them. And he’d be damned before he lost you to them.

Cater knew enough about them, and boy did he want to see it for himself. Take him with you for a day, won’t you? Pretty please? He’d love to take selfies with you in their pretty flower fields and chill by the lake! Ah, if only the dorm leader didn’t forbid him from going, how lame~ Oh well, that’s that. For now, Cater will focus on making the dorm even better! If it’s better, more photogenic, you’ll want to hang out here more, right? Here they got beautiful roses and a maze, they don’t have that over there! 

Trey didn’t know much about the other dorm, he only knew what his friend Che’nya told him. It sounded like a great place, it really was the complete opposite of here. Although the no rules part did sound appealing, he was too attached to his own dorm. Besides, the dorm leader depended on him. Now, he was sure Heartslabyul had the better sweets, right? You couldn’t get these types of treats over there. So stay here for a bit and Trey will make as much as you want.

TWST Theory : Deep Analysis Based on Alice in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass (Part 1)

Note: The theory will be divided into some parts because my small brain can't really handle it if I explain it all at once

It was out of my curiosity to find more info about Crowley for my fanfiction, but when Toboso Yana herself said in an interview that Through The Looking Glass is her main inspiration and she learned so much from Lewis Carroll way of writing, I decided too look deeper into it. Because surely the game is called "Twisted Wonderland" not without reason, is it?

- Twisted Wonderland, The World Behind The Mirror-

Note : Some people might already know, but for now I decide to explain again for my own convenience in the future

When Toboso Yana said Twisted Wonderland is inspired from Through The Looking Glass, naturally I would think that Twisted Wonderland might be similar to it. If you look at the tiny details closely, you will find some things that's hinting to it.

The campus gate of Night Raven College

When you look at it, everything seems normal but if you pay closer attention there's actually something hidden in it.

The main trait of Wonderland in Through The Looking Glass is "everything are reversed"

So let's turn it upside down and then flip it.... (pay attention to the red arrow)

You will see that the word "COLLEGE" will become "CORTEGE" which means funeral procession.

So it's not only "the gate" (coffin) that symbolize parting with the former world, even the real gate of Night Raven College itself symbolize such.

Ramshackle Dorm, The Dorm of "Alice Through The Looking Glass"

We all know that all NRC 7 dorms have their own distinctive traits that represents Disney's movies of adaption from certain fairy tales (like Diasomnia represents Sleeping Beauty). And I guess that also applies to Ramshackle Dorm.

If you notice, Yuu's room is similar to Mickey's room in short movie "Thru The Mirror"

Mickey's Thru The Mirror is actually based on Alice Through The Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll. You can see it from this one scene in said short movie.

Another thing that's hinting Ramshackle Dorm representing Through The Looking Glass/Thru The Mirror is this :

He said "animated cards and dancing gloves", they're actually appeared in Mickey's short movie Thru The Mirror

And in chapter 5 Mickey disappeared from the mirror after he heard a ringing. It corresponds to how Mickey woke up from his dream of world behind the mirror in Thru The Mirror. He woke up because of his alarm clock.

In game, it's said that "Pomefiore is the oldest dorm in NRC" but I think Ramshackle Dorm is much older than Pomefiore. It's because Mickey Thru The Mirror was actually released before Disney Snow White. Snow White was released in 1937, but Thru The Mirror was released in 1936.

Ramshackle Dorm is older than Pomefiore. Probably even much older than NRC itself if it's true that Pomefiore is the first dorm being built in NRC. Ramshackle Dorm was already there, even before NRC exist....
