Know Your Neopronouns
If you look around online, you can find lists of neopronouns. (Neopronouns are words that get can be used instead of 'he' or 'she' when refering to someone.) Most show just the first 2 terms (‘Ey/Em,’ or ‘Ze/Zim’). Few provide any info about how to pronounce them. And even less provide examples of how messy real usage is. This guide is an attempt to show how real people are using neopronouns. It’s based off the data of the 2020-2023 (Nonbinary) Gender Censuses.
-
English Pronoun Sets include:
Subject (the person acting) – ie. They
Object (the person the action is happening to) – ie. Them
Dependent Possessive (ownership, thing owned is named) - ie. Their
Independent Possessive (ownership, thing owned is not named) – ie. Theirs
Reflexive (action affecting the person who is acting) – ie. Themself
In a sentence:
They walked in and told me their name was Chris. I said hi, and showed them the name tags. They found theirs and put it on themself.
-
Neopronouns come in 3 flavours:
The first type is based off the most common English personal pronouns:
‘They/Them/Their/Theirs/Themself (or Themselves)’
‘He/Him/His/His/Himself’
‘She/Her/Her/Hers/Herself’
This type of neopronoun usually mimics the ending sounds of one or more of the common pronoun sets. For example, ‘Ze/Zem’ pronouns are based on ‘he’ and ‘them.’
The second type includes pronouns not usually used as personal pronouns (like indefinite ('One'), neuter ('It'), or definite (‘that’)). It also includes neopronouns derived from them ('Thon').
The third type is based on various nouns not usually considered related to gender at all ('Star' or 'Pup'). These are called ‘nounself pronouns.’
-
I’ve listed both the common pronouns, as well as the most used neopronouns. For each entry, I include a variety of forms and spellings. I do my best to provide pronunciation. (I have not heard all of them pronounced, and what little I was able to find online might not match what real people are saying.) And I mention if they mimic feminine or masculine pronouns, singular they, indefinite pronouns, nouns, etc.

A note on defining sets:
Deciding what to consider a variant, and what to consider a different set altogether, wasn't easy.
Elverson and Spivak pronouns are mostly separated because of their history, and how (relatively) well known they are. I then tried to stay consistent, and separated things like 'ze' and 'zey' sets.
Animal and sound based nounself pronouns are grouped based on how difficult it was to separate them. A relatively high percentage of people wrote 'kit' and 'cat' forms into the same entry. Less people grouped 'mew' and 'nya' forms. And, while 'mew' and 'nya' forms were FREQUENTLY grouped with 'kit' and 'cat' forms, I kept them separate for my own sanity.
I am also VERY glad that 'sie/sier' pronouns didn't make the top 25. 'Sie', 'se', 'sea', 'ce', and 'ke' are probably unsortable without talking to their users individually. (There's at least three pronunciations in there - 'zee', see' and 'kee'!) But I love the 4 people using 'sir' as a pronoun. That amuses me!

TF2 headcanons
Engineer having accidentally taken a pair of Pyro's goggles instead of his own one time and then they become really close because literally nobody else will be friends with pyro bc they think they're crazy or whatever
Scout and Soldier are friends 50% of the time, but they're always trying to 1up each others poor mental health
Pyro is transfem/enby, he/she pronouns
Scout is bi and in major denial
Soldier, Demo, and Scout all enable each other's bad habits
Engineer and Sniper get high together on weekends
Heavy is teaching Scout how to read bc he's partially illiterate
Medic and Spy bonding over being annoyed by the rest of the team not knowing how to do 'simple tasks' (ie dressing a wound or being stealthy)
Scout and Engineer bonding over mutual disliking of Spy
Engineer basically adopted Scout
They all play cards against humanity once a week as team bonding
Medic defaults to speaking German when he's really stressed (its his first language)
Medic, Pyro, and Scout are the only ones who don't smoke
Soldier can bake
Pyro listens to Nyan Cat on loop all the time
Spy is a kleptomaniac

Hello every nyan,
This is the Daily Rancher blog, here is where I post rancher art everyday (hoping)
I will mostly draw simple drawings like doodles (sometimes traditional art too but hopefully just digital!) doodles, shitpost, memes screenshots likes almost everything!
Feel free to send me any requests you want for ranchers!
You can also ask for specific shitposts that you think suits them well, you are all free to just send memes for me to draw as the silly guys, or Outfits and costumes UGHAA ANYTHING REALLY !!!!
and if you have any questions and want me to say something about for example my hcs for ranchers then don't be afraid to send a ask in my inbox on my main blog !!
even if dont answer all your asks, remember I appreciate you all for giving so much support <3
Even though I want all art to appear platonic so most people can enjoy it, I will sometimes draw them in a romantic way, as I love them as a ship too. I will tag it properly though as trafficshipping and with their ship name solidaritek!!!
My main blog is: @XattenQ
And I use any Pronouns!!! ( any means any I rn I don't prefer any of them :P)
Main tag: #daily ranchers
I wont tag replies to asks cause I'm very lazy
i will use a day count by putting it at the top like for example:
[ 34 ]
Im not very experienced on tumblr as I escaped from prison and now need a new home to live in
I'm a minor and won't draw anything weird and shit so please don't send me weird stuff in my inbox , just be a descent human <3
, and I won't draw anything gory, or very heavy mechanical like robots and stuff. I'm also not a fan of backgrounds or difficult time consuming backgrounds
I will insert my own lil hc of these two, like for example cheetah tango and golden retriever Jimmy as I find cat and dog dynamics very cute and it just fits <3

Seeing how they have little to no knowledge of humans, how would they deal with an AFAB Yuu on their period?
Tumblr media
Warnings: Discussion of menstrual cycles/periods/crimson waterfall/etc! Will be under a read-more. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF I NEED TO RETAG ANY WARNINGS TO THIS POST!!! If I need to separate the asks please let me know and I will do so!
Hoo boy, everyone’s favorite time of the month in a world full of monsters. 😂 At least the Twst boys are willing to try and understand, so it’s a step in the right direction! 🤣 Also, given that the term used here in the first ask was “AFAB”, I will be using “they/them” pronouns to be respectful of trans readers, but in the future please be sure to include the preferred pronouns you want me to write so I can do my best with the asks!
By the way, I don’t know if I was clear when I mentioned the research institutions in this AU, but they are willing to do what they can in order to assist Yuu with whatever they need, whether it’s: medicine for asthma, transitioning, or even therapy or surgeries. It’s totally up to you to decide the stuff that your character would need—this is designed to be a comfort AU after all!
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let’s see what the boys have to say. >v>
Okay so first off, I’ll answer @coffee-or-hot-cocoa as a category ask because that sounded fun! >w<
Who freaks out: Deuce, Riddle, Jack, Kalim, Idia, Sebek, and Grim
Who would be anxious: Ace, Cater, Azul, and Ruggie
Who tries to help: All (they're trying, so that counts...right?)
Who is best at helping: Trey, Jack, Ruggie, Jade, Jamil, Rook, Vil, Ortho, and Lilia
And now, to answer @nyan-rat!
////----------////
Given the stress of being in a new world and struggling to make sense of the chaos of school and Crowley fending off multiple attempts by researchers wanting to study them, it’s no wonder that Yuu’s body skipped that first month’s cycle. It wasn’t until things settled into a somewhat comfortable routine (minus the shenanigans Grim and the other first years managed to drag them into) that they began to notice the first signs, leading them to visit Sam’s shop for supplies.
The very next day was when the chaos began.
Depending on if it’s the weekday or the weekend that it happens, the visitors to Ramshackle will immediately smell the blood and hear Grim yowling in panic before rushing into action! Rushing straight to the infirmary in a whirl of feathers, fur, and hooves, the nurse was examining Yuu yet found no probable cause for the pain—a fact that did not ease their anxious friends or reassure Crowley as the harpy began pacing nervously around the room. Feathers ruffled, he kept muttering about who he should call to help and lamenting over the explanation he was going to have to give the institutions.
“Guys, I’m okay. Really!” Yuu told them, gritting their teeth in pain. “It’s just my…period…”
As soon as the words left their mouth, they could literally see the light bulbs go off as everyone uttered a quiet, “Oh…”
Once things had calmed down and Yuu was given something to ease the pain, a kind-hearted medical professional from one of the institutions was able to come and speak. Aside from taking notes, the older woman took time to educate Yuu on why the others had reacted the way they did. Apparently, most monster cycles occur every three to four months while even fewer have them rather frequently, so while not uncommon, it was still unexpected. The medical professional was still concerned by the degree of pain and discomfort described, and so she began discussing options to help mitigate this problem in the future.
From that point on the boys seem to get less rowdy around them, making sure that Yuu was comfortable by bringing their favorite snacks and keeping extra hygiene products (like pads, tampons, etc) on hand just in case of an emergency. Grim took over the role of portable heat pack, Deuce offered rides on his back during particularly draining or rough days, Ace stuck close to their side in case they needed someone to lean on, Jack took on a protective stance between them and any of the more aggressive students, and Epel and Sebek took turns being guards or bringing them sweet or salty snacks.
And then there were the cuddle piles, where Yuu could barely move—not that they were complaining. Warm hugs and snuggles with chocolate? Yes please!
