1 — What does Rozalina think of Chiara/Noelle?

Let's go with Chiara first! I think when Roza first meets her, she'd be in love with her long blonde hair — both of them have that! (Roza would totally ask her if she could braid or brush it, haha.) But I think they'd be able to connect with each other wonderfully. Roza feels a sense of... reassurance around Chiara. Perhaps a little odd to admit, but she reminds her of some of the very lovely maids back home, because of how friendly and gentle she is.

Seeing how Chiara is also clumsy with her magic and not good at controlling it, Roza would feel motivated to work together with her in order to grow stronger! She'd be certain they could teach other a lot. Not to mention, Roza would be eager to share her favorite novels with Chiara, since she is also an avid reader!

In general, Roza would see Chiara as someone she'd have a good connection with! Incredibly eager to befriend her.

As for Noelle; Roza genuinely thought, when she first saw Noelle, she was an adorable doll come to life. She looks so tiny (albeit Roza is not much taller), so fragile and delicate — Roza was almost afraid one wrong move with her magic and she'd hurt her, haha.

Roza would feel a little put off at first by how expressionless and unresponsive Noelle can be. But that won't stop her from trying to befriend the first year! Roza can be pretty persistent when she wants to meet new people and befriend them, so I can imagine Noelle wouldn't be too fond of that. Even if Noelle were to say no, Roza would keep on inviting her to join her for several activities, such as taking care of the school's gardens or maybe having a simple tea party in the Diasomnia dorm!

in the mafia au, chiara has two roles; one as the honey pot of heartslabyul, and their doctor, working tirelessly in the infirmary and tending to the injured. her innocent and girlish air makes it easy for her to wrap targets around her fingers and bend them to her whims as she fishes for information; though she is still adverse to killing and injuring anyone unless the situation absolutely calls for it.

♕ as a prominent member of the heartslabyul mafia, chiara is more than used to seeing people come to their offices, pleading for proection in exchange for money, or brokering deals and trades and negotiations. and when chiara waltzes into headquarters one afternoon, she isn’t particularly surprised when riddle introduces her to their guests, di xin and yabu, members of rival mafia group khanzhao, explaining that they’re in town on business, and tasking chiara with showing them a good time.

♕ chiara agrees to meet up with them tomorrow, and leaves them to discuss business. she goes about her daily routine as per normal, completing minor tasks and making her way to one of riddle’s bars to sing. she arches an eyebrow when she sees yabu at the best table in the house ( almost as if he’s been waiting for her ), but she is nothing if not professional, and after smiling coquettishly his way, starts singing in her usual honeyed tones.

♕ as her performance winds down to a close, a fight breaks out. glasses are shattered, voices rise heatedly, and chiara finds herself stepping in. it’s partly so that her guest won’t get caught up in the melee --- he’s watching her again, with those sharp hawk-like eyes of his --- and she smiles bright and cheery, using her wits and her feminine charms to diffuse the situation.

♕ yabu catches up with her just as she’s preparing to leave. chiara isn’t a fool to let him know where she lives, not when she doesn’t quite trust him yet, but agrees to walk with him to the main road. to her surprise, yabu praises her for resolving the situation as easily as she did, and requests her help tomorrow, as they’ll be travelling to negotiate with weapons dealers.

♕ teasingly, chiara asks him if it’s going to be a date, and mentions that most of her dates buy her dinner first, before they talk about business. yabu counters just as quickly, asking chiara if she’s free for the rest of the night, and sweeps her off to a restaurant.

♕ ( she gets taken out to dinner after the negotiations as well. chiara finds his company pleasant, if him being a little hard to read. )

♛ chiara’s hair is long and curly, reaching her hips and tangles easily. it’s easy to tell when chiara’s woken up late, or is having a bad hair day; she’ll pull her hair back and away from her face, up into a high ponytail with a white ribbon securing her hair.

♛ never ask chiara for directions. she insists she knows her way around campus, she’ll even pull out a map as proof, but it soon becomes clear that this girl is wandering around aimlessly and needs all the help that she can get to navigate.

♛ chiara carries a pharmacy’s worth of medicine and bandages in her bag. she’s clumsy and has frequent accidents, usually tripping over her own two feet and tumbling to the ground in a tangle of limbs. the supplies in her bag mean that she doesn’t have to make the long trip to the infirmary and can bandage her own scrapes and bruises with a skill that belies her young age and appearance.  

♛ that being said, it’s not uncommon to see chiara walking around campus with banages peeking out from under her sleeves or cute pink plasters on her knees.

♛ chiara has a surprisingly high pain tolerance (she walked around with a broken wrist for about an hour after a nasty spill from her broom during flying class), but this means that she often pushes her body to the brink of exhaustion because she doesn’t know when to stop, or because she doesn’t want anyone to worry about her.

♛ aside from her animal companions, chiara didn’t have any friends when she was younger, and she treasures the friends she does have right now. a sure-fire way to make the smile vanish from her face would be to threaten her friends; but be warned --- one may not like the consequences of making chiara angry, as she becomes a far cry from her usual sunny demeanour.

♛ the shift from friends to lovers is quiet and discrete; hardly anyone in school knows about the status of their relationship, only to remark that chiara and malleus have been spending more time together, haven’t they? and everyone only finds out when chiara sees malleus one afternoon, calls out his name with a big, bright smile, and runs over to take his hand.

♛ chiara shows up at diasomnia a lot after they’ve started dating, presenting the dorm with baked goods and other sweet treats. most are meant for malleus, but she tells him the extras are for his dorm mates. silver is just glad to have something else to eat other than lilia’s cooking.

♛ the relationship is pure and sweet, consisting of a lot of hand-holding, usually initiated by chiara. malleus, for the most part, is content to be dragged around by her. 

♛ malleus is prone to retaliating by kissing chiara; in public, kisses to the cheek, the forehead, and to the crown of her hair are common. sometimes, lips are pressed to the back of her hand, or to the inside of her wrist as they part for class. chiara’s reactions are blushed cheeks and parted lips, her eyes faraway and herself rendered speechless.

♛ chiara invited malleus to a tea party at heartslabyul once, but they were promptly kicked out after she fed malleus cake one too many times; complete with lifting the spoon to his lips and telling him to say ‘aahh’. tea parties were moved to the diasomnia dorm after that unfortunate incident.

♛ dates with chiara and malleus usually consist of long walks around campus. malleus shows chiara the gargoyles around the school; in fact, she’s an honorary member of the gargoyle research society. sometimes, they’ll stop by the stables to feed the horses. 

♛ slow dancing is common as well. with music or not, the two of them will waltz whenever the mood strikes them, wrapped up in their own little world, mindless to the surroundings. everytime, chiara laughs and says that she can’t dance, and everytime, malleus replies that it’s alright, that he’ll take the lead.

♛ chiara has stolen quite a few of malleus’ shirts. they’re far too baggy and loose on her, but they’re warm and they smell like him. she’s taken to wearing them to bed, and around her own dorm.

♛ everyone can tell when she’s stayed over at diasomnia. chiara’s eyes are bright, even brighter than usual, and her lips are chewed bright pink. bandages will be wound around her neck, but if asked, chiara will laugh nervously and chalk it up to her being clumsy, before hastily changing the subject.
