hello there! would you please have any suggestions for the face claim of my oc?

she is chaotic good, a lesbian disaster and the comic relief of her group. any ethnic is fine but she would be in her early 20s. she loves to wear hawaiian shirts and would never be caught in a dress.

i like talia ryder but she seems too confident while my oc would be quite awkward. i also thought about rachel sennott, but i would appreciate some alternative face claims if you have some in mind!

Also since whenever I mention I wanna ramble about Cinomed Chronicles y'all usually say/have said in the past you'd be glad to listen I hope you don't mind me tagging you in this: @surohsopsisofclouds @a-soul-among-the-stars

I mentioned recently Dani doesn't like mouth on mouth kisses

Taylor and Jeremiah take advantage of this and kiss him everywhere else and see which spots make him blush more

So far it's been his nose, his knuckles/palm, and the space between his wings

Dani is actually so much lighter than Jeremiah even though Jeremiah is t i n y

Most Dali are actually really lighter than Jeremiah, weighing between 60-80lbs

Also whenever I talk about my OCs as groups they go by these names usually : Angelic Trio = Taylor, Dani, Jeremiah ; OG Trio = Evanna, Marie, Leona

Taylor and Dani are around equal height but Taylor's much stronger than him

Taylor and Jeremiah do have powers but they need these special bracelets Jeremiah helps make that's infused with some magic from some Dali in order to actually use it

Their powers also all correlate with all of Angel's abilities. Angel's abilities encompass the most common abilities that Dali have(Weapon summoning, Barrier, and Healing)

Taylor = Barrier ; Jeremiah = Healing ; Dani = Weapon summoning

When the Angelic Trio met, Taylor and Jeremiah got along fine. But they really didn't like Dani and Dani really didn't like them

Dali don't trust humans all that much. Humans in this story are really fucking annoying sometimes

Taylor loves history, especially the history of Fahndali it's just,,,, retaining that info is what she really doesn't like doing cause it just won't stay in her head

So she has many notebooks stuffed under her bed in Tongyi that are crammed with as much info as she feels is necessary

Jeremiah loves the ocean and it's the only geographic thing he'll learn about

Dani is a huge nerd when it comes to mythology/folklore and loves how some/most stories incorporate history

He's very happy when Taylor and Jeremiah give him Greek, Norse, and Irish mythology books for his birthday one year and he talked about all he read to anyone who would listen

Everyone in the Angelic Trio loves cuddling but sometimes being around each other is too much, so they all have separate rooms in the castle

The first time Dani visits Earth, it's mid-winter in Arizona and he learns that he despises the cold

Taylor teases him for weeks after he was still complaining with a bunch of layers on

Leona is very small. She's probably a few inches taller than Jeremiah

She is also very very strong.

Leona and Taylor both really don't like wearing dresses

Dani honestly doesn't mind wearing dresses, he finds them really pretty and the looks on Taylor and Jeremiah's faces are amazing whenever he chooses to wear one

They need a moment to let their minds start working again

Jeremiah has nicknames for them b o t h and it makes Taylor and Dani, who are both terrible at romance, just melt

Taylor once dated a cannibal; the rest of the Sydney family still teases her all the time about it

His name was Vic and in all honesty he wasn't the worst guy Taylor's gone out with

He's actually useful to the plot later in the story too, and has a girlfriend and kid. Taylor and Vic act like they usually did when they meet for the first time in y e a r s

Evanna has been proposed to by 11 different people throughout her life and rejected them all cause no one could get it into their heads that she wasn't interested in getting hitched to anyone

Before Erin got married, everyone in Tongyi honestly thought that he and Evanna would get together. Or that he'd at least be her consort so she'd have an heir

So much shock when that didn't happen

I really love Erin and Evanna's friendship, they can act like an old married couple or like newly weds when it comes to their banter and affection but they both know the other will never feel romantic feelings with the other

Also Erin's wife finds it really cute whenever she sees Erin kiss Evanna's forehead or cheek cause that's just What He Does

Kord, Marie's older brother, was a homophobic ass for awhile

But then he found out his wife was Pan and started to actually get educated on LGBTQ+ stuff and then apologized profusely to his sister for almost a year bc of how he acted

Also he was ready to kill a bitch once he found out Leona tried to kill Marie on multiple occasions

Leona does protect his daughter in the end tho so he reconsiders his opinion on Leona

Kord might be one of the only straight OCs I have

Vic considers himself Queer, Erin is Pan, Aki is Aro/Ace, Angel is Agender and Bi, Evanna is Aro/Ace, Serranidae is Lesbian, Leona's Lesbian, Marie is Bi, etc.

There might be one other straight girl(I don't have a name for her though) but she also might not be straight, still deciding

Oh, the elderly ladies of the Sydney family approve greatly of Dani and Jeremiah when they meet them. They keep hinting that they should all tie the knot

It also might be because if Taylor married Dani then it means she becomes part of the royal family but they don't actually say that

Aki is the only Cinomed that's gonna receive a redemption arc. He's gonna be the only one that lives

Really the only thing that changes about him is he stops performing experiments on humans, Dali, Werewolves, and dragons

I have only one OC whom I truly despise, and his name is Gideon Hayes and he's the exact type of human being that I would gladly punch and watch die a slow painful death

Actually wait there's two- Keegan Francis is the other for very similar but also very different reasons

Evanna and Leona both have very similar secrets- Leona's is a lot more dark and Evanna's is really really important towards the end of Cinomed Chronicles

I used to really hate Deathstriker, but looking at most of my antagonists she's really not the worst one

Don't get me wrong, she's still a shitty shitty human but Rikki, Gideon, Keegan, and Serranidae are all far worse. She's just a bit higher than Aki level of awful

I think I've mentioned this before but I don't remember- the Mays royal family(Evanna's family) is the only family of Dali to have red hair, so when Dani comes to rule Tongyi it's weird for everyone to see a member of the Mays family have brown hair

(Members not related by blood don't usually end up ruling unless they're the only family member left, however that means that their child has died and so has never really happened in the past)

Everyone just kinda accepts that Evanna adopted instead of having a blood heir, and they just have to accept that the Mays bloodline is coming to an end(or so they think) even though the family name will still remain in the family

Neva Sydney is actually part Dali, but no one is sure to what extent. Her soul-seeing ability seems to stem from that heritage

Human/Dali hybrids are crazy powerful and no one knows why, not even Aki when he tests on Neva(with permission)

Neva has a QPR with Nezu and a boy named Tyler when they're older

Taylor at one point in the story has 2 and 1/3 souls in her body, and it's bloody torture and she punches Aki when it's all over

Despite Aki being the main source of a lot of Taylor's problems she's the first to trust him and forgive him

Cinomeds are usually much taller than the average Dali(Dali are usually around 6.5 feet, Cinomeds being 7.5-9 feet) but Aki is actually pretty short, standing around 6 feet

Date Ditcher (Monica Geller x OC)

Summary: In preparation for her date with Ross, Erin comes across Monica, sick and alone in her apartment and scraps the date to take care of her.

Word Count: 1,142

Warnings: Sickfic, but other than that, no real warnings

Erin was running late. She’d started off early enough, but one thing led to another, and three outfit changes later, she finally felt comfortable enough to leave the apartment. She just needed to grab her black bag, and—

Erin turned around in her bedroom several times until she made herself a bit dizzy and she still couldn’t find the purse she was looking for. Then it dawned on her. She’d lent it to Rachel last week and hadn’t gone to get it back yet. She quickly left her apartment, keys in hand and made her way to Monica and Rachel's.

"Hi, sorry to bother, forgot to get my purse back from—" Erin stopped short after entering the apartment. Monica sneezed in lieu of greeting her and she looked like hell. "Are you okay?"

"Fine. I’m fine," Monica dismissed, but the fact that she sounded stuffed up clearly betrayed her dismissal.

"You’re sick," Erin stated rather obviously. It’s not like it needed to be said. They both knew it was true. "Isn’t Rachel here to take care of you? Isn’t anyone?"

"I’m not sick," Monica protested again, punctuated with another sneeze. "Okay, I might be a teeny, tiny bit sick, but it’s fine," she corrected.

The couch was surrounded by an ocean of tissues and Erin decided right then that she was going to stay and make sure Monica was okay. She began by cleaning up the strewn about tissues and throwing them in a proper garbage can, something she knew Monica would have done if she wasn’t under the weather.

"Aren’t you supposed to be meeting Ross for a date," Monica asked. Luckily, Monica wasn’t able to see her flinch. Shit, she was. How has she so easily forgotten? "It’s fine. I’ll call him. I’m not leaving you here alone. Do you want some soup?"

Monica thought about it a moment. "Soup would be nice," she finally settled on. After cleaning up, Erin washed her hands and rifled around in Monica's kitchen cupboards until she found a can of soup. It didn’t take long to prepare and Erin handed the bowl over to her after she made her take a bit of cold medicine.

Erin felt weird sitting and watching Monica have her soup, so she busied herself by looking for her purse in Rachel's room. Coming up empty, she assumed Rachel had taken it with her when she’d gone out, so Erin shrugged and walked back out to the living room.

"Can you get me a blanket? I thought the soup would warm me up, but now I'm even colder." Erin smiled at Monica's big puppy dog eyes. It’s not like she had to beg her. She was here to help after all. So, Erin picked a blanket up off the chair and brought it over to Monica, covering her with it and taking the now empty bowl from her hands. "Thank you," Monica said.

"What are friends for, right," Erin replied.

"Or brother's girlfriends, apparently," Monica attempted to joke. They weren’t all that close yet, her relationship with Ross still rather new, but she had stayed to take care of her when her close friends had all made other plans. Granted, she said she was fine, but that didn’t mean she didn’t want at least one of them to want to stay, like Erin had.

The night wore on and Monica proved to be an easy patient. She wasn’t demanding, like Ross made her out to be in the few stories he’d told her. She was mostly just tired, asked for what she needed when she needed it, and Erin was content to be on stand by and let her rest.

She could have left when Monica fell asleep, but for some reason that seemed cruel to have her wake up alone again, so Erin stayed. She grabbed herself something to eat and watched a little tv before she started to feel a little sleepy herself. She glanced over at the couch where Monica was still resting comfortably and despite her best efforts, she dozed off in the chair.

It was dark out when the click of the door opening woke her. "So Erin totally stood me up," Ross began complaining, looking up and locking eyes with Erin. "You’re…but— Monica," he yelled, not realizing that Monica was asleep right there on the couch.

"What," she asked, sounding a little better than she did when Erin first arrived.

"Okay, can someone explain what’s going on here?"

"I’m sorry, Ross," Erin started. "I came over to get my purse, the one I let Rachel borrow, and then I saw that Monica was here, sick, with no one to take care of her. I meant to call you, but I guess I got distracted helping Monica and I…forgot."

"I was in that restaurant for two hours! The waitress even gave me a pity cake."

Monica came to her defense when Erin didn’t know what to say next. "Ross, don’t yell at her. Isn’t it kind of nice that she stayed with your little sister to take care of her in her time of need?"

"Well, yeah, I guess," Ross admitted, shamed for having blown the situation out of proportion. "I just really wish you’d called."

"I meant to, really. Time got away from me. If I could go back and call, I would have." It was a desperate plea, but nonetheless true. She may have stayed to take care of Monica instead of go on her date with Ross, but that didn’t mean she was heartless. If she’d remembered, she would have called him to let him know what happened. She didn’t mean to leave him hanging.

"It’s okay. I forgive you. It’s not like you chose someone else over me," Ross caved. "How are you feeling, Mon?"

"Better. Less stuffy," she replied with a tired smile. "Thanks to Erin," she reiterated.

"I can take over if you like, until Rachel gets home," Ross offered.

"Actually, if neither of you mind, I’d kind of like Erin to stay. Rachel shouldn’t be long anyway. What time is it?"

"A little after nine," Erin supplied. "And yeah, it’s fine with me if you want me to stay."

"Me too, I guess. I’ll, uh, I’ll see you guys tomorrow. Take care, Mon, and you too, Erin."

"Night Ross," the two of them chorused, listening to the door shut behind him.

Erin then turned to Monica. "Thank you for standing up for me. I felt so thoughtless."

"You were just being helpful. We all make mistakes and sometimes my brother takes mistakes a little too seriously. I appreciate all you’ve done for me, and I’ll make sure he knows you have my seal of approval."

Erin smiled. "Thanks. It’s actually been kind of fun. Call me anytime you’re sick, okay?"

"You have yourself a deal."

Bored so. Random OC things cause I don't feel like actually writing

Taylor is amazing cuddler. Lots of practice from past partners and her younger siblings. Learns quickly what people like and will do it when cuddling, especially if they've had a bad day

Also she very strong and makes whoever she's cuddling feel protected.

A lot of Dali don't like being touched between their wings, but Dani adores it, practically melting as soon as someone touches him there

Jeremiah's used to not talking while working, and has to get used to Dani and Taylor asking him questions about what he's working on. But he does love them taking an interest, and can usually focus. If he can't he'll ask them to write their questions down and ask later

Taylor's best relationship advice is "just fucking talk to each other" and if you have a crush it's "tell them about it, if they reject you move on"

She often ignores that second piece of advice if it concerns friends already in relationships and it takes awhile for her to finally get over herself and bring it up

Taylor's family is really close, and a lot of people wonder how a house of five can get along really really well. Occasionally it bumps up to eight(eventually nine then eleven) people living in one of their houses at a time

Max made the necklace Taylor always wears, and also made a few jackets that Taylor will wear if she's going out to a bar or something. Taylor doesn't wear the jackets in Tongyi mostly because it's too warm for them, but she does show them off to her friends in Tongyi.

The first dog Dani ever meets is Lucky, Leona's 5-year-old St. Bernard. Dani fell in love with the dog very quickly and Lucky gets really really excited whenever he sees Dani visit, will run to the young royal no matter what, he cannot be stopped-

Jeremiah may or may not have changed the programming of a Tempest bot named Benny. Benny's original programming wanted it to protect Tempest officials. Jeremiah tweaked some stuff to make Benny go 'rogue', attack the officials, and instead protect innocent targets

No one in Tempest ever found out it was Jeremiah

Leona originally kidnapped Keegan Francis so Marie could take out her anger on the bastard for the shit he put Marie through, but Marie instead asked Taylor if she could contact Vic and offer Keegan as a thank you for treating Taylor well.

Let's just say Vic agreed and Keegan was never seen again.

Dani and Jeremiah wonder how the hell Taylor managed to survive dating a cannibal, but agree it does have benefits. They also wonder how the fuck an entire forest cursed cannibals to be stuck in it but that gets answered later on. Ish.

Vic takes one look at Dani and Jeremiah before fixing Taylor with a "really? You're dating guys like this?" look. Cause to Vic the dudes look relatively normal and that's kinda the opposite of Taylor's type but then he learns about Angel and how they each have a piece of her soul and also that Jeremiah used to work at Tempest and that Dani is apparently not technically a human and Vic has an "ah" moment and understands completely

Evanna and any other rulers are all very confused as to how she has lived to be in her 50s.

Also when Evanna was pretty young and soon after she had been crowned queen she discovered her council members had a rather... Dirty way of going about things, using assassins to murder any opposing rulers in Sadia for the war behind Evanna's back. Evanna may or may not have convinced a group of dragons to kill them. No one really asks why she doesn't have a council anymore, no one really questions where the original council went either.

Briar, Erin, and Kord are all part of the "I adore my wife and kids" crowd. Good families with strong bonds. Nothing really happens to them 😅

Azzy and Dolan co-parent Nezu for a while before Dolan realizes Nezu could probably be parented better by Azzy. Azzy and Erin also really wanted to have a kid but neither could get pregnant exactly, and adoption centers aren't really a thing in Tongyi. So! Nezu was adopted by Azzy and Erin!

Evanna teaches Queen Fera's son how to use his abilities(the kid's an illusionist like Evanna. Evanna uses this to her advantage to not get murdered instantly in Sadia and also ends the war)

Queen Fera literally has no idea how illusions worked and accepted Evanna's offer to teach the kid because she didn't want her son to grow up being unable to use or control his abilities

Also since illusionists were more rare to be born, it wasn't like Fera could just find a teacher

The Sydney's play DnD together for family game night and use exclusively sign language (Spanish sign language usually, American sign language if Kord, Chloe, and Neva join them)

Dani and Jeremiah start learning sign language a bit after hanging around the Sydney family

Ollie gets really excited when one day Dani greets her and sparks up a conversation in ASL and she catches Jeremiah practicing some signs when he takes breaks from working on things

The boys also really love Ollie and bring her a ton of little things they think she might like. Marie drew the line when Dani offered to get her a custom knife from one of the best blacksmiths in all of Fahndali (she said he could get one but wait until Ollie was sixteen at least to actually give it to her)

Max learns about some traditional patterns or fabrics used in Tongyi, as well as other kingdoms, and surprises Dani with a jumpsuit combining the Capital's traditional style with Tongyi's. Dani wears it to any and all formal events

Upon learning that Jeremiah helped create Jayden's prosthetic leg, Jayden goes to ask him a bunch of questions. He's momentarily disappointed when Jeremiah says he can't answer a lot of them, but gets excited when Jeremiah calls up an old friend who can and puts her on the phone with Jayden

Dani's afraid of the dark. Taylor and Jeremiah don't really know about this for awhile until they all start sharing a room and Dani asks to keep the lamps on. He claims he really doesn't want to explain why so the two don't push but they do hold him that bit tighter as they all drift to sleep
