Bail or Jail - Open RP starter

((or, Klaus calls for bail. Could be one of his siblings, or could be a wrong number call! Open to anyone 21+))

“You're receiving a call from [T H E C I T Y] Police Department,” a robotic voice announced to the answering machine. After a moment, a beep followed, and the somewhat manic voice of Klaus Hargreeves took over.

“Heeeey, my best sibling! It's me, your favorite brother—! Listen, you know, uh—remember the old dive bar, down the street from Griddy’s? Well, the owner's an asshole, first of all. You can take that to the bank and smoke it. Apparently I was ‘disturbing the peace’ or something—” Klaus seemed to barely pause to breath, in between the lightly slurred rambling. “Swear to God—that little bitch—I was just enjoying my night when the cops showed up! I'm being—I'm being unjustly detained,” he added, raising his voice enough for said cop to hear.

In the distance, another voice could be heard. “Wrap it up, Hargreeves!”

“Listen, you gotta get me outta here. The other guy in here smells like eggs, and you know I'm a shy pooper!” Klaus quickly tried to reason. There was a pause, as the police officer said something in the background. “Alrighty, that's my cue — hey, you're gonna come get me though, right? You wouldn't leave me here, right? I'll love you forever, okay byyyye—!”

The recording cut off with a sharp click! For not the first, and definitely not the last time, Klaus was begging to be bailed out of trouble. All he could hope now was that he'd dialed the right number.

"I'm a goddamned demon, for Hell's sake, I don't need rest," Sebastian hisses, a bit touchier than he usually would be. Typically he was good at keeping his temper in check, afraid of the potential he had to hurt others.

Shaking hands flick at the silver lighter in his palm as he attempts to light a cigarette on his way out. A small sniffle given, rubbing tiredly at his sunken eyes. He's trying to slip out to get to work without being stopped, but the other is making it rather hard for him to rush out the door.

"I'm not even fucking tired, Christ..."

The sunflower Aura produces from behind his back is bright and beautiful—freshly cut. He holds it up, twirling it in his hand as he twists from side to side like a shy middle schooler presenting a gift to his crush. He hides his reddish face behind it with a cheesy grin before presenting it to the other. His nose twitches slightly and he flicks at it with his finger in slight irritation, but he doesn't let the smile leave his face as the flower is offered their way.

"For you," ze hummed with a small sniffle. A shy warmth blooms in zir chest as ze passes it off to the other. "I saw it at the market the other day and it made me think of you." A pause, shrugging. "Plus, I know you've been having a rough week. Thought it might make you smile."

Shimi's voice came out practically in song, beaming at the other who had just entered the room and settled upon the lounge chair. He had splayed himself cross the chair, letting his upper body fall into their lap as he stared up at them, a wild grin on his wobbly features. One hand held a glass of champagne, his tie hanging loosely around his neck, his other arm craddling his suit coat. It was well into the evening by now, perhaps so much so as to be considered approaching morning. Yet, the festivities continued with the select stragglers who had drunk so much wine they were likely to stay until morn anyhow.

"Stay with me, won't you? Ohh! Or perhaps fetch us another bottle of sherry? So long as you promise to come back!"

i really hate being that person but it's kind of bumming me out when content for my original characters doesn't seem to gain as much of an... outreach? apologies for my soddy english, brain isn't brain'ing atm which is also frustrating, but in comparison to content for the canons- i just... don't know if people truly want me to continue writing for those oc's or even the shipping i do between canon x oc

and this isn't about anyone in particular. on the contrary! i'm happy that people still interact with my messy blog of the latest hyperfixation- it's just the oc's are thrown into the background, and i don't know if that's got something to do with changing views on them. honestly, i'm not- mad per se, just wish they got recognition.

also i felt venting into the void, since probably no one's to read this, might ease me out of that frustration because i'll continue writing about said original characters- no matter how many people watch it tbh

Breathing is a bit ragged as Sebastian reaches up to touch the wound quickly sealing itself shut again, spits blood onto the pavement. A wicked grin crawls across the demon's face as he looks up at his attacker, sharp, pearly white canines flashing their way in the moonlight. As they step closer, they can't help but breathe out a soft laugh.

They'd known each other for so long, he had thought this would go a bit smoother than it was going right now. Of course, telling someone you were a demigod was usually the kind of confession that got you in a straightjacket. It was a secret he had kept very close to his heart, his mother having warned him of the way humans might use it against him or throw it back in his face. It seemed she had been right.

"Believe me, I fucking know. But I'm not crazy, I'm not high, I haven't even had a lick of alcohol today, yeah?" A shrug, tossing his hands in the air like he was done with the explanations. Hands on zir hips again. "How can I help you believe me?"
