Oc Swap

(These characters are NOT mine. I did an OC swap with @limassol-writes)

It was supposed to be a simple day at the circus. Lavender had gotten two tickets and she decided to drag Andy along. Andy was just happy to get out of the house, it had been a few days since he got to see lavender and he missed her for some strange reason.

When they arrived everything seemed to be normal, kids were running around and shouting. Parents were huddled together in groups chatting while trying to keep their kids in line before the doors opened. Andy stuffed his hands into his pockets and looked around. With all the noise and flashing lights, it made everything feel distant and far away, his head beginning to spin as his brain tried to process everything at once.

“Ugh whats taking so long! I just wanna go in and see the animals.” Lavender turned to Andy and frowned. She didn’t really want to bring Andy, she really wanted to bring Chuck but alas chuck had other plans.

Andy began to zone out and simply look around he hadn't noticed that the line had started to move, however it was in the oppisite direction. When he came back to reality a lion was staring right at him.

At first Andy wanted to run but choose not to for the fear that the lion would think he was a running target. His next meal. So instead he took a deep breath and stood still trying his best not to make any sudden movements. The only thing he couldn't stop was the drool that was dripping from his mouth uncontrollably.

The lion appeared to be calm, he didn't seem to want to hurt Andy, he took a few steps closer and started to take in his scent. Andy did his best not to move but his body began to shake. So much so that it looked almost as if he was cold.

The lion took his time and gently nugged Andy's hand. It appeared that all the lion wanted was someone to pet him. This was not usual behavior of this lion at all. Normally this lion would lash out and hurt others. Funnily enough he took a strong liking to Andy.

All Andy could think about was not to move. Or at least to move slowly so he didn't startle the lion.

"Hey! Step away from the lion." A gentleman in a red uniform yelled. Andy looked up at him confused.

"I cant."

"What?"

"I can't move!" Andy squeaked out add the lion continued to nudge his hand as if asking to be pet.

Quick doodles of Lana Von Lagerfeld for the OC swap, opppps. 25 and still wears macrame crop tops. She smokes green tea flavoured tobacco out of an old fashioned cigarette holder She always acts like her head is in the clouds, to lull people into a false sense of security. However, she’s a master at puzzles and solving problems, her analytical mindset being far superior to her strength or social skills. Often obnoxious and intolerant. Her stand Hushabye forms in smoke and can blind people, it’s main abilty is to stop people from being able to see things, however this isn’t always total blindness. Sometimes it may only hide the car coming in the road, sometimes it may hide the edge of the cliff and show more ground. It works both by making people unable to see whatever she has chosen, and compelled not to look in it’s direction to avoid ruining the illusion.

It's just been so long since I've said anything about it on here. I've actually developed some of the lore behind the scenes but not, like... a ton.
